Three donor-acceptor-donor triads 1-3 consisting of tetrathiafulvalene units attached to perylene diimides by flexible and rigid spacers were synthesized and characterized. UV/vis spectroscopic and cyclic voltammetric results indicate that they all show negligible intramolecular charge transfer interaction in their ground states. As compared to the reference compound 21, triads 1-3 display reduced fluorescence and their fluorescence lifetimes are shortened, which is probably owing to the photoinduced electron transfer interactions between the PI units and TTF units. The different photophysical behaviors between 1 and 2 (and 3) might be due to their difference in the spatial separation of TTF and PI units. It is preliminarily found that the steric hindrance of the groups attached to TTF units can affect their photostability.  相似文献

A series of meso-to-meso ethynyl-bridged multiporphyrin arrays have been synthesized using Sonogoshira palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions involving the appropriate ethynylporphyrin and iodoporphyrin precursors. The absorption spectra of these multiporphyrins show splitting of the Soret bands and significant red shifts of the Q bands as compared to the combination of the corresponding components. These conjugated multiporphyrins also show red shifts in their emission spectra as the pi-conjugation is expanded. In the electrochemical measurements, the porphyrins dimer 7 shows two 1 - e- oxidations at E(1/2) = +0.63 and +0.76 V for the first electron abstraction from the two porphyrin rings, indicating electronic communication between the two porphyrin units. The porphyrin trimer 4 exhibits the first and second 1 - e- oxidations at E(1/2) = +0.68 and +0.77 V, respectively, which correspond to the two outer porphyrins. The cyclic voltammogram of pentamer 5 shows two overlapping 1 - e- couples at E(1/2) = +0.56 and +0.66 V, and one 2 - e- couple at E(1/2) = +0.86 V, for the four outer porphyrin units. These results demonstrate that in the porphyrin trimer and pentamer the individual peripheral porphyrin units are electrochemically coupled via a central porphyrin core. The UV-Vis-NIR spectra of the oxidized species of these multiporphyrins exhibit a broad intervalence charge transfer (IVCT) band in the region from 1200 to 3000 nm. The present work shows that a central porphyrin unit appended with ethynyl bridges affords strong electronic interactions between the peripheral porphyrin rings over a distance of about 15 A.  相似文献

A series of homoleptic and heteroleptic platinum(ii) complexes [Pt(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CFc)(2)(L-L)] (L-L = COD , 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene (dppf) ), Q(2)[cis/trans-Pt(C(6)F(5))(2)(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CFc)(2)] (cis, Q = PMePh(3), ; trans, Q = NBu(4), ), (NBu(4))[Pt(bzq)(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CFc)(2)] (Hbzq = 7,8-benzoquinoline) and (NBu(4))(2)[Pt(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CFc)(4)] has been synthesized and characterized spectroscopically and the structures of .2CHCl(3), and .2H(2)O.2CH(2)Cl(2) confirmed by single-crystal X-ray studies. The anion of complex , shows strong O-Hpi(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]C) interactions and weaker C-Clpi(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]C) contacts between the protons of two water and two CH(2)Cl(2) molecules and the C(alpha)[triple bond, length as m-dash]C(beta) of mutually cis alkynyl groups. In this complex the presence of additional O-HH-C(Cp) and C-ClH-C(Cp) contacts gives rise to an extended bidimensional network. The optical and electrochemical properties of all derivatives have been examined. It is remarkable that for complexes and a facile oxidatively induced coupling, giving rise to 1,4-diferrocenylbutadiyne, is observed, this also having been proven by chemical oxidation.  相似文献

A new chiral ferrocene-labelled tyrosine PNA monomer 1 has been synthesised in good yield in both racemic and enantiomerically pure forms. It is suitable for insertion in various positions of PNA oligomers, a possibility that has been preliminarily demonstrated by synthesising the dimer 16. Moreover, in view of possible applications to nucleic acid detection, a preliminary voltammetric investigation on the electrochemical activity of monomer 1 and its synthetic precursors has been carried out in DMF. It appears that, despite the bulkiness of the PNA monomer backbone, its insertion on the ferrocene group only moderately lowers the latter’s diffusion coefficients and peak currents, thus affording voltammetric detection limits in the order of 10−6-10−7 M.  相似文献

Synthesis and characterization of ferrocene‐containing main‐chain polyamides are reported in this article. A new, interesting type of organometallic monomer (FDADO) based on ferrocene was prepared by interfacial condensation of 1,1′‐dichlorocarbonyl ferrocene with 2 mol 1,8‐diamino‐3,6‐dioxaoctane (DADO). A series of ferrocene‐based polyamides was prepared via polycondensation of the ferrocenyl diamine (FDADO) with different diacid chlorides using two different methods. The monomer and polymers were characterized by elemental analysis, infrared and NMR spectroscopy. The thermal stability and behavior of the synthesized polymers were evaluated by thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA), dynamic mechanical thermal analysis (DMTA), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The crystallinity of polymers was examined by X‐ray diffraction analysis. Inherent viscosity, solubility and flame‐retardancy of the polymers were also studied. The obtained polymers showed good heat‐resistance and flame‐retardancy, and improved solubility vs generally reported polyamides in some common organic solvents. The synthesis of 1,6-diferrocenylhexane-1,6-dione (I), 1-ferrocenylcarbonyl-2-ferrocenylcyclopentene (II) and 1,6-diferrocenylhexane (III) is reported. All three compounds were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and infra-red spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry. Compounds I and III each exhibit a single two electron transfer, while compound (II) exhibits two single electron transfers. Compounds (I) and (II) were further studied by single crystal X-ray diffraction. In compound (I), both carbonyl groups are in plane with the adjacent ferrocenyl Cp ring. For compound (II) one of the ferrocenyl Cp rings is coplanar with the carbonyl group, the other with the double bond of the cyclopentene ring, but the CO moiety and the double bond are basically perpendicular to each other.  相似文献

The synthesis and electrochemical properties of five novel organosulfur electron donors containing two to four TTF nuclei are reported. The structures have been assigned by 1H NMR spectroscopy, infrared spectrometry and mass spectra. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) studies show that the multi-TTFs display nearly ideal redox behavior for the TTF system with no distinct interaction between the TTF units.  相似文献

New thermally stable 2,4,6-trisubstituted pyrimidines containing aromatic (ferrocene and para-substituted benzene) fragments at the C4 and C6 positions and an amino group or pyrrole ring at the C2 positions of the pyrimidine ring have been synthesized, and their optical and electrochemical properties have been studied. Three conjugated polymers containing oligothiophene units (from one to three thiophene rings) and aromatic 1,3,4-oxadiazole moieties have been successfully synthesized. The polymer structures were characterized and confirmed by (1)H and (13)C NMR, FT-IR, and elemental analysis. Thermogravimetric analysis demonstrated that the polymers are highly thermal stable. Tunable absorption (from 342 to 428 nm) and fluorescence (from 411 to 558 nm) properties of polymers were observed. The electrochemical investigation indicated that the LUMO and HOMO energy levels of the new polymers could be adjusted. It was also revealed by the electrochemical analysis that the polymers have good charge injection properties for both p-type and n-type charge carriers, as well as good color tunable luminescence and film-forming properties, which makes them potentially useful for fabricating efficient light-emitting devices.  相似文献

A novel uranium heteropolyoxometalate, [H(3)O](4)[Ni(H(2)O)(3)](4){Ni[(UO(2))(PO(3)C(6)H(4)CO(2))](3)(PO(4)H)}(4)·2.72H(2)O, has been prepared under mild hydrothermal conditions using the diethyl(2-ethoxycarbonylphenyl)phosphonate ligand and in situ ligand synthesis of the HPO(4)(2-) anion. The cluster is derived from a common UO(7), pentagonal bipyramid and is constructed by employing nickel(II) metal ions as linkers. The 3d-5f heteropolyoxometalate core incorporates 12 classical pentagonal uranyl groups and four Ni(2+) octahedral units.  相似文献

A novel biindenylidenedione compound, [2,2′‐bi‐1H‐indene]‐3,3′‐bis [(4‐oxo‐4‐ferrocenylbutanoyloxy)propyl]‐3,3′‐ dihydroxy‐1,1′‐dione was synthesized and characterized fully by 1H NMR, IR, MS and elemental analysis. The photochromic and photo‐induced radical properties were investigated by means of UV–vis and electron spin resonance spectroscopy, respectively. The results show that the title compound simultaneously exhibits photochromism in the solid state as well as generating stable free radicals under irradiation with 330 nm light. The synthesis and structural characterization of new liquid‐crystalline compounds containing ferrocene, azo‐aromatic and cholesteryl groups are reported. Taking into account the advantage brought by chirality, ferrocene and azo units, these structures could be good precursors for obtaining materials capable of responding to magnetic and electric fields or to UV‐light exposure. The influence of each structural unit (ferrocene, cholesterol, azo aromatic core and flexible chain length) has been studied by comparing analogous compounds possessing the same structure but without the element being analyzed. Ferrocene is a three‐dimensional bulky unit, so that, regardless of the substituents' nature, this unit could cause steric repulsions with neighboring molecules. These interactions could lead to a decrease of the transition temperature domain. Surprisingly, a decrease in the clearing point was not observed for the compounds discussed. This behavior was possible because ferrocene is connected to the mesogen via a flexible unit. As a consequence, both phenyl analogues and ferrocene derivatives presented liquid‐crystalline properties with similarly high clearing points, but above the thermal stability of derivatives with azo groups. Their melting points depend on the way the molecules are packed, with different crystalline states being detected in the case of ferrocene derivatives. An isocyanide-based multicomponent reaction between cinnamic acid derivatives or 3-phenyl-2-propynoic acid, (N-isocyanimino)triphenylphosphorane, ferrocenecarbaldehyde, and dibenzylamine has been reported in excellent yields for the preparation of some new ferrocenyl-containing 1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives. The successful synthesis of tetraphenyltetraphenanthroporphyrin (TPTPhenP; 5a) in 2006 under modified Rothemund-Lindsey conditions yielded a tetraphenyl porphyrinoid with a B band redshifted to an unprecedented 576 nm. Radially symmetric fused-ring expansion of tetraphenylporphyrin with phenanthrene moieties results in very deep saddling due to steric crowding and very marked redshifts of the Q and B (or Soret) porphyrinoid absorption bands. The extent to which the TPTPhenP structure can be further modified is explored, and the optical properties of TPTPhenPs are analyzed based on a perimeter model approach that makes use of time-dependent DFT calculations and magnetic circular dichroism spectroscopy and also based on a detailed analysis of the fluorescence emission. Attempts to introduce substituents at the ortho and meta positions of the meso-phenyl groups and to insert a central metal proved unsuccessful. The synthesis of a series of TPTPhenPs with strong electron-withdrawing (-CN, -NO(2)) and -donating (-CH(3), -N(CH(3))(2)) substituents at the para positions of the meso-phenyl rings is reported. Marked redshifts of the main spectral bands were consistently observed. The most pronounced spectral changes were observed with -N(CH(3))(2) groups (5i) due to a marked destabilization of the HOMO, which has large MO coefficients on the meso-carbon atoms. Protonation of 5i at both the ligand core and at the -N(CH(3))(2) groups resulted in unprecedented Q(00) band absorption at wavelengths greater than 1200 nm.  相似文献

A method which preferentially produces adjacently di-aromatic ring-substituted tetraazaporphyrins (TAPs) has been developed, and their electrochemical and spectroscopic properties have been studied and compared with those of the corresponding series of mono-aromatic ring-fused TAPs. Mono-aromatic ring-fused TAPs show a split Q-band, and the splitting energy increases with increasing size of the aromatic ring. In addition, for the split Q-bands, the relative intensity of the band at longer wavelength decreases with increasing molecular size of the fused aromatics, compared with the shorter wavelength band. In the di-aromatic ring-fused TAPs, this kind of splitting is not seen, and only a shift of the band is observed. The intensity and band position of the split or unsplit Q-bands are quantitatively evaluated by simultaneous band deconvolution analysis, using both electronic absorption and magnetic circular dichroism spectra. The preparation of these TAP compounds has made it possible to adjust the Q-band position in a stepwise manner between ca. 600 and 750 nm. The first reduction and oxidation potentials of the TAP ring shift negatively with increasing number and size of the fused aromatics. The extent of the shift is found to be very small for the LUMOs but significant for the HOMOs. These spectroscopic and electrochemical properties are almost perfectly reproduced by molecular orbital calculations within the framework of the Pariser-Parr-Pople approximation. In particular, a small variation of the LUMO level and large destabilization of the HOMO level on ring expansion are rationalized from the extent of stretch of molecular orbitals: i.e., since the LUMOs are localized in the central TAP moiety irrespective of the molecular size, while the HOMOs have appreciable coefficients even over the fused aromatics, the HOMO level destabilizes while the LUMO level remains constant with increasing molecular size. In one CoTAP derivative, Co(III/II) and the first ligand oxidation couples occur experimentally at the same potential.  相似文献

Reaction of M(CO)6 with 3,5-dimethyl-4-ferrocenylmethylpyrazole under UV irradiation yields monosubstituted group 6 metal carbonyl complexes M(CO)5L (M?=?Cr, Mo or W; L?=?3,5-dimethyl-4-ferrocenylmethylpyrazole). Their electrochemical behaviour, investigated by cyclic voltammetry, indicates that chromium and tungsten complexes exhibit two one-electron quasi-reversible couples corresponding to the ferrocenyl group and the chromium or tungsten centre, respectively, while the molybdenum complex has one quasi-reversible couple corresponding to the ferrocenyl group and one irreversible oxidation process for molybdenum. The crystal structure of W(CO)5L, determined by X-ray diffraction methods, shows that ferrocenylpyrazole acts as a monodentate ligand, and W is six-coordinate with quasi-octahedral coordination geometry. The complex is linked into a one-dimensional chain in the lattice through weak intermolecular hydrogen bonds with metal carbonyls acting as acceptors.  相似文献

Hexadecapropyloxy-substituted diphthalocyanine complexes of rare-earth elements (REE = Lu, Tm, Sm) were synthesized. The new symmetrically substituted diphthalocyanine complexes prepared starting from 4,5-dipropyloxyphthalodinitrile (phthalogen) are characterized by better solubilities compared to the known hexadecamethyl-substituted diphthalocyanine complexes of the same REE. Spectral and electrochemical characteristics of the complexes were studied. The compounds can be used as materials for high-contrast electrochromic devices.  相似文献

In the present investigation, a series of ferrocene-based Schiff bases 5a?Cm were synthesized by the condensation of various chalcones 3a?Cm with S-benzyl dithiocarbazate in absolute ethanol using catalytic amount of glacial acetic acid, and characterized by element analysis,1H NMR,13C NMR, and IR. The synthesized compounds were screened for their in vitro antimicrobial activity against four bacterias (Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 9144, Bacillus cereus ATCC 11778, Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 43288) and two fungals (Aspergillus niger ATCC 9092 and Aspergillus fumigatus ATCC 46645) strains. The Schiff bases 5g, 5h, and 5m against Gram-positive bacterial (E. coli and P. aeruginosa) strains was found to be higher than that for the standard drug. They are potential new drugs in antibacterial activity aspects in further days.  相似文献

Two new metal-centered ferrocene complexes Ni(SCN)2(L)4 (1) and Cu(OAc)2(L)2 (2) (L = 1-[1-ferro- cenylmethyl]imidazole) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, spectroscopic and cyclic voltammetric measurements. Two new cobalt(II) complexes, [Co(L3)2]·CH3OH·CH3COCH3 (1) (HL3 = 1-(2-{[(E)-3,5-dichloro-2-hydroxybenzylidene]amino}phenyl)ethanone oxime) and Co(L4)2 (2) (HL4 = 1-(2-{[(E)-3,5-dibromo-2-hydroxybenzylidene]amino}phenyl)ethanone oxime), have been synthesized via complexation of Co(II) acetate tetrahydrate with HL1 and HL2. HL1, HL2, and their corresponding Co(II) complexes were characterized by IR, 1H NMR spectra, as well as by elemental analysis and UV–Vis spectroscopy, respectively. The crystal structures of the complexes have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. 1 and 2 display that extensive hydrogen bonds and C–X···π bonding interactions construct the 1-D infinite chain [Co(L3)2]·CH3OH·CH3COCH3 and Co(L4)2 into 2-D supramolecular frameworks. The electrochemical properties of two Co(II) complexes were also investigated by cyclic voltammetry.  相似文献
