进行了非保偏放大器与保偏放大器的相干合成的实验研究。通过随机并行梯度下降(SPGD)算法对非保偏放大器进行偏振自适应控制,使非保偏放大器输出激光的消光比达到11.5 dB,与保偏放大器在同一偏振方向上的光功率占总功率的93.4%。利用单抖动法进行非保偏放大器与保偏放大器的主动相位控制,实现相干合成。实验结果表明:SPGD算法能够有效实现偏振自适应控制,偏振自适应控制前后相干合成远场的条纹对比度从80.1%提高到87.2%,相干合成的效果提升明显;通过增加参与合成的放大器路数,并在各路激光中引入多级功率放大器,能够得到更高的合成功率输出。 相似文献

设计分析了一种基于碲酸盐玻璃的全固态三芯光子晶体光纤偏振分束器.利用三芯光纤中存在的谐振耦合现象,调整光纤结构参量,使某一偏振光无限接近谐振耦合条件产生强耦合,而另一偏振光因远离谐振耦合而耦合程度较弱,实现不同偏振光的分离.该偏振分束器长度短、超宽带、消光比高.在波长1 550nm处,偏振分束器长度仅为1.14mm,消光比高达-101.27dB;消光比小于-20dB的带宽达到100nm;消光比小于-10dB的带宽覆盖了E+S+C+L+U波段,高达350nm.此全固光子晶体光纤偏振分束器不仅性能优越,结构简单,且全固态的设计结构可有效避免光纤拉制过程中的空气孔坍塌,为设计更优性能的偏振分束器提供了思路. 相似文献

分析了激光原型装置光纤前端系统的偏振特性,针对激光原型装置光纤前端系统窄光谱、短脉冲的特点以及该原型装置对光纤前端系统输出偏振态的要求,提出了一种稳定光纤前端系统输出偏振态的新方法。采用脉冲方式偏置光纤前端系统的幅度调制器,通过光纤偏振稳定装置在线检测幅度调制器泄漏连续激光的偏振态进行自动调整,实现了光纤前端系统偏振态的自动稳偏,解决了波导幅度调制器长时间工作后消光比下降的问题。光纤前端系统长时间工作输出的稳定度达到了2.9%。 相似文献

A novel configuration of fiber laser with frequency modulation is presented. Frequency modulation, stable polarization state and narrow linewidth are realized by using the waveguide phase modulator, polarization maintaining devices and saturable absorber. It is shown that the laser output reaches 23 mW, linewidth is less than 1 kHz, polarization extinction ratio is higher than 20 dB and maximum value of frequency deviation can reach 7.5 MHz. 相似文献

研究了在动态光散射纳米颗粒测量中,光源的偏振态对测量结果的影响。采用了粒径为100nm、体积浓度为0.5%的标准颗粒作为样品,使He-Ne激光通过起偏器得到0°~180°方向的偏振光,测量了散射光强、偏振度和粒径测量值的变化,计算了相应的粒径均值偏差和标准差,并将这一结果与无偏振He-Ne激光入射进行了比较。结果表明,当入射光为线偏振光时,偏振方向垂直于散射面时测量效果最好;另一方面,由于颗粒系散射迭加造成的散射光偏振度降低,使线偏振光源与无偏振光源产生的散射光偏振度无明显差别,证明在测量中可以使用无偏振He-Ne激光代替。 相似文献

Sagnac fiber optic current sensor (S-FOCS) is a kind of optical interferometer based on Sagnac structure, optical polarization states of sensing light wave in Sagnac fiber optic current sensor are limited. However, several factors induce optical polarization error, and non-ideal polarized light waves cause the interference signal crosstalk in sensor, including polarizer, quarter-wave retarder, splice angular, birefringence and so on. With these errors, linearly polarized light wave in PM fiber and circularly polarized light wave in sensing fiber become elliptically polarized light wave, then, nonreciprocal phase shift induced by magnetic field of the current is interrupted by wrong polarization state. To clarify characteristics of optical polarization error in fiber optic current sensor, we analyze the evolution process of random optical polarization state, linear optical polarization state and circular optical polarization state in Sagnac fiber optic current sensor by using Poincare sphere, then, build optical polarization error models by using Jones matrix. Based on models of polarization state in Sagnac fiber optic current sensor, we investigate the influence of several main error factors on optical polarization error characteristics theoretically, including extinction ratio in polarizer, phase delay in quarter-wave retarder, splice angular between quarter-wave retarder and polarization maintaining fiber. Finally, we simulate and quantify nonreciprocal phase shift to be detected in fiber optic current sensor related with optical polarization errors. In the end, we demonstrate S-FOCS in test. The results show that transfer matrix errors are induced by inaccurate polarization properties during polarization state conversion, then, the stability and accuracy of the S-FOCS are affected, and it is important to control the polarization properties at each step of the polarization state conversion precisely. 相似文献

本文通过设计出一种反射型极化旋转超表面,在8—12 GHz频域内实现高效的极化旋转,并将其加载于微带缝隙天线下方构成新型的极化旋转超表面天线,利用超表面的90°极化旋转效应,成功实现了天线的圆极化辐射调制.仿真与实验结果表明:圆极化天线的中心工作频率为GHz,阻抗带宽为8.3—10 GHz.当微带缝隙天线与极化旋转超表面的间距H=4.5mm时,天线在8.3—8.8 GHz频带内实现了圆极化辐射;当mm时,天线在8.8—9.3 GHz频带内实现了圆极化辐射;当=8mm时,天线在9.3—10 GHz频带内实现了圆极化辐射.实验结果与仿真结果相符,证明了此种设计方法的有效性,也为微带缝隙天线的圆极化设计提供了一种新的途径. 相似文献

偏振控制在光通信中是至关重要的技术, 关系着通信系统的稳定性和误码率. 本文提出一种基于双向Sagnac环工作方式的全光纤高速偏振控制方案, 通过调节环中一个光纤电光相位调制器的相位差而精确控制光场偏振方向, 并且实现了单个端口输出各种偏振态, 无需后续耦合操作. 相位控制精度为10-3 rad, 最大消光比可达30 dB, 工作速率可达2 GHz. 由于本方案的精度、调制速度和稳定性都很高, 并采用了器件简单、成本低廉的全光纤光路, 易于集成, 在量子保密通信等光通信领域中有很好的应用前景.

Coherent beam combining (CBC) of a polarization-maintaining fiber amplifier and a non-polarization-maintaining fiber amplifier is presented. The experiment is based on adaptive polarization control and active phase control. The stochastic parallel gradient decent (SPGD) algorithm is used for the adaptive polarization control in the non-polarization-maintaining fiber amplifier and the active phase control is realized by single frequency dithering (SFD) algorithm. When the adaptive polarization control system and the phase control system go into closed loop, the fringe contrast of far-field intensity pattern is improved to more than 87.7%. A scalable architecture for CBC of two styles fiber amplifiers is also proposed. 相似文献

Integrated polarization rotators are known to exhibit stringent fabrication tolerances, which severely handicap their practical application. Here we present a general polarization rotator scheme that enables both the compensation of fabrication errors and wavelength tunability. The scheme is described analytically, and a condition for perfect polarization conversion is established. Simulations of a silicon-on-insulator polarization rotator show polarization extinction ratios in excess of 40 dB even in the presence of large fabrication errors that in a conventional rotator configuration degrade the extinction ratio to below 5 dB. Additionally, wavelength tuning over ±30 nm is shown. 相似文献

A compact zirconium-erbium doped fiber (Zr-EDF) based multiwavelength fiber laser (MWFL) with stable output comb is proposed
and demonstrated. The MWFL utilizes a 3 m long Zr-EDF with an erbium concentration of 3000 ppm and pumped by a 1480 nm laser
diode (LD) as the active gain medium. A fiber based multimode polarization controller (PC) is used to precisely control the
polarization states of the oscillating modes in the MWFL, distributing the total energy of the system among the lasing wavelengths
in order to overcome the mode-suppression and mode-competition that arises from homogenous line broadening. The MWFL is capable
of generating up to four lasing wavelengths with average peak powers of 0.08 dBm in the extended L-band of 1600 nm. The lasing
wavelengths have a 3-dB linewidth of 0.1 and an extinction ratio of 40 dB as well as highly stable, with minimal fluctuations
of less than 0.6 dB observed in the peak powers of the lasing wavelengths over a period of 1 h. The proposed system allows
for the realization of a compact, cost-effective and stable erbium based MWFL capable of operating at room temperature. 相似文献
