Mean lives and excitation energies of the lowest levels in64Ni,66Zn and68Zn were measured with the aid of the (α, α′γ) and (α, pγ) reactions. The γ-rays were detected in coincidence with the outgoing particles. The following mean lives were determined from DSA measurements: 400 ± 150 fs for the level at Ex = 1.35 MeV in 64Ni; 270 ± 100, 210 ± 110, 330 ± 200, 80 ± 70 fs for the levels at Ex = 1.87, 2.45, 2.83, 2.94 MeV in 66Zn, and 1300 ± 300, > 160, 600 ± 200 fs for the levels at Ex = 1.08, 1.89 and 2.76 MeV in 68Zn, respectively.  相似文献

Low-lying states of the doubly odd Br isotopes were populated by means of the nuclear reactions 78, 80, 82Se(p, n)78, 80, 82Br. The g-factors of the first excited 2? states in 78Br and 80Br were measured with the pulsed beam DPAD method and were found to be g(78Br) = ? 0.56 ± 0.02 and g(80Br) = ? 0.83 ± 0.06.  相似文献

The reorientation effect in Coulomb excitation has been used to measure the following static quadrupole moments: Q2 + (32S) = ?0.066 ± 0.017 b, Q2 + (34S) = 0.026 ± 0.023 b, Q2 + (204Pb) = 0.19 ± 0.14 b. Interference effects from higher excited states have been included in the analysis, with the signs of the E2 matrix elements taken from an anharmonic model. The value obtained for Q2 + (32S) is in disagreement with two previous measurements. We attribute the discrepancy to the smaller internucleon separation distances involved in the previous experiments, which can cause deviations from Coulomb excitation cross sections. The other quadrupole moments have not been measured previously. The B (E2: 0+ → 2+) measured were: 0.0305 ± 0.0016 e2 · b2(32S), 0.025 ± 0.004 e2 · b2(34S), and 0.166 ± 0.009 e2 · b2(204Pb). From the angular distribution of the de-excitation γ-rays of the Pb nuclei following recoil into vacuum, we have determined the following g-factors: ¦g2 + (204Pb)¦ < 0.08 (two standard deviations), ¦g2 + (206Pb)¦ = 0.07+ 0.07? 0.03. Our value of g2 + (206Pb) is in agreement with a previous measurement.  相似文献

Energy levels of 67Ga were populated by the 67Zn(p, n) reaction at proton energies between 3.6 and 4.3 MeV and their γ-decay was studied. Spins were determined within the framework of the statistical theory, from angular distribution data and (p, n) cross sections derived from γ-ray intensity data. Mixing ratios for many transitions were extracted and lifetimes for 19 states have been determined. The results are compared with the theoretical predictions of the three particle cluster-core coupling model.  相似文献

The reaction 12C(α, α')12C1(3α) is observed by using 90 MeV a-particles in ionographic matter. The energies of the three α-particles from the break-up of 12C1 are plotted in Dalitz diagrams. The density distributions for the three α-particles in the diagrams are calculated by assuming the spins and parities for the states in 12C1(3α). The spin-parities for the states are assigned by comparing the observed density distributions with those calculated.  相似文献

Integrated cross sections up to 28 MeV have been measured to excited residual states in 21Si, 27Al and 24Mg, following the photodisintegration of 28Si. From comparisons with spectroscopic factors of nucleon pickup reactions on 28Si, leading to the same residual states, it is concluded that the photonucleon emission process is predominantly single particle in nature. Estimates of isospin mixing in the 28Si giant dipole resonance are also given.  相似文献

The gyromagnetic ratios of the first excited Jπ = 2+ states of 50,54Cr, 54Fe and 70Ge have been determined by the ion-implantation perturbed angular correlation technique (IMPAC) with ferromagnetic Gd as stopping material. The g-factors were extracted from the measured precession angles with use of known lifetimes, static hyperfine magnetic fields and transient hyperfine magnetic field data for fast ions traversing ferromagnetic lattices. The deduced values are 0.59 ± 0.10, 0.56 ± 0.10, 1.08±0.19 and 0.38±0.08, respectively. With the exception of 54Fe all g-factors are close to the collective value. A re-evaluation of earlier IMPAC data on 70, 72, 74, 76Ge with Fe as stopping material has been performed. The value obtained for 70Ge is in good agreement with the one measured in this work.  相似文献

The static electric quadrupole moment Q2+ and the B(E2; 0+ → 2+) value of the 2+ first excited state of 204Hg have been determined using the reorientation effect in Coulomb excitation. An annular Si surface-barrier detector was used to detect back-scattered 4He, 12C and 16O projectiles. In a subsidiary experiment, spectra were obtained from 204Hg(p, p')204Hg using Si surface-barrier detectors, and the results were used in conjunction with previously existing data to provide information on higher states of 204Hg which might participate in the Coulomb excitation of the 2+ state. From a 3-level analysis, we find Q2+ = +0.40 ± 0.20 e · b and B(E2; 0+ → 2+) = 0.423 ± 0.005 e2 · b2. These results are in good agreement with the predictions of particle-vibrational coupling calculations. The value obtained for Q2+(204Hg) is substantially smaller in magnitude than values of Q2+ previously determined for 198, 200, 202Hg.  相似文献

The static quadrupole moment Q2+ and the B(E2; 0+ → 2+) value of the first excited state of 18O at ex = 1.982 MeV have been determined using the reorientation effect in Coulomb excitation. Surface-barrier detectors at laboratory angles of 90° and 174° were used to detect 18O ions elastically and inelastically scattered from 208Pb. At both angles, we determined experimentally the maximum bombarding energies at which nuclear interference effects were negligible. It is found that Q+ = ?0.023 ± 0.021 e · b (?0.052 ± 0.021 e · b) for destructive (constructive) interference from higher states. This result is in good agreement with theoretical expectation. For the transition moment we find B(E2; 0+ → 2+) = 0.00390 ± 0.00018 e2 · b2 (0.00371 ± 0.00018 e2 · b2) for destructive (constructive) interference.  相似文献

The static quadrupole moment and B(E2; 0+ → 2+) value for the first excited state of 32S were measured using the reorientation effect in Coulomb excitation of 32S projectiles. Silicon surface barrier detectors were used to detect 32S ions scattered from 208Pb at mean laboratory angles of 90° and 174°, for bombarding energies in the range 122 to 160 MeV. The gyromagnetic ratios of the lowest excited 32?and52? states in 107, 109Ag were simultaneously measured relative to that of the 21+ level in 108Pd. The thin-foil, perturbed γ-ray angular distribution technique was employed utilizing the transient hyperfine magnetic field present at the nuclei of these ions as they swiftly recoiled through a thin magnetized Co foil. The states of interest were Coulomb-excited using beams of 100 MeV 32S ions. The present measurements yielded g(32?; 107Ag) = +0.63 ± 0.09, g(52?; 107Ag) = + 0.37±0.06, g(32?; 109Ag) = +0.77 ± 0.10, and g(52?; 109Ag) = +0.36 ± 0.05. These findings are compared with weak-coupling and other appropriate model calculations.  相似文献

Differential cross-section and analysing-power excitation functions were measured for elastic proton scattering from Ep = 3.6–6.4 MeV at θc.m. = 90°, 115.8°, 129.8° and 155.3°. Differential cross-section angular distributions were measured at 3.56, 3.94, 5.78 and 8.98 MeV and analysing-power angular distributions at 5.78 and 8.98 MeV. Optical-model parameters were deduced from these distributions. Resonance parameters were determined for eight analogue resonances in 71Ga and neutron spectroscopic factors were calculated. These were compared with the results of previous (p, p) cross-section analyses and the results of (d, p) reactions leading to states in 71Zn.  相似文献

Energy levels of 71Ge were populated by the 71Ga(p, n) reaction at proton energies between 1.72 and 2.96 MeV and their decay studied by both γ-γ and γ-n coincidences. Spins were determined within the framework of the statistical theory from angular distributions of de-excitation γ-rays and from excitation strengths of levels derived from γ-ray intensities and branching. The reaction 140Ce(d, pγ)141Ce was studied at 8 MeV bombarding energy. Protons and γ-rays were detected in coincidence. The decay scheme is deduced, and the branching ratios are compared to the results of other experiments and to model calculations.  相似文献

The recently developed magnetic plus Si(Li)-Si(Li) sum-coincidence technique is employed to measure E0 internal-pair-formation (IPF) branching ratios of excited 0+ states in 58,60,62Ni. The X(E0E2) values are obtained for a new 0+4 state in 60Ni at 3588.0 keV, for the 0+2 and 0+3 states at 2942.3 keV and 3530.9 keV in 58Ni, for the corresponding states at 2284.8 keV and 3318.3 keV in 60Ni, and for the 0+2 state in 62Ni at 2048.4 keV. The results are combined with the available lifetimes of these states to extract the monopole strengths ?2(0+i ? 0+1). The results and the nature of the 0+ states are discussed.  相似文献

Levels of 66Cu have been studied using the (t, α) reaction on 67Zn at 18 MeV. Orbital and, in some cases, total angular momentum transfer were inferred from a comparison of differential cross sections with those measured for the same reaction on the even zinc isotopes. The quartet of levels corresponding to the p32 proton pick-up from the 52? target was identified. In addition, a strong set of l = 3 transitions was found corresponding to pickup from the f72 proton shell.  相似文献

A systematic study of the even-A germanium isotopes with mass 70 ≦ A ≦ 78 via the Se(d, 6Li) reaction has been performed at Ed = 45 MeV. The reaction products were momentum analysed and mass identified with a QMG/2 magnetic spectrograph and the accompanying focal-plane detector system. The main emphasis of this investigation was on the nature of the first excited 0+ states. The striking variation in strength from one isotope to the other already observed in the (p, t) reactions to the same final nuclei is also seen for the α-pickup reaction. Previously derived wave functions that assume the excited 0+2 states to be pure proton configuration states can also account for the present results.  相似文献

High-spin states of 39K and 42Ca have been investigated with the 28Si(16O, αpγ)39K and 28Si(16O, 2pγ)42Ca reactions at a beam energy of 45 MeV. Gamma-gamma coincidence, γ-ray angular distribution and linear polarization measurements were performed with a Ge(Li)-NaI(Tl) Compton suppression spectrometer and a three-crystal Ge(Li) Compton polarimeter. High-spin states of 39K at Ex = 7.14,7.78and8.03 and of 42Ca at Ex = 7.75MeV are established. Unambiguous spin-parity assignments of Jπ = 112?, 132?, 152+, 152?, 172+and192? to the 39K levels at Ex = 5.35, 5.72, 6.48, 7.14, 7.78 and 8.03 MeV and of 6?, 7?, 8?, 9? and(8, 10)? to the 42Ca levels at Ex = 5.49, 6.15, 6.41, 6.55 and 7.37 MeV, respectively, have been obtained. Further spin-parity restrictions, lifetime limits, excitation energies, branching ratios and multipole mixing ratios are reported. Discrepancies with previous Jπ assignments are discussed in detail.  相似文献

The isotopes 107Sn and 107In were produced through the 106Cd(3He, 2n)107Sn and 106Cd(3He, pn)107In reactions. They were studied by means of γ-spectroscopy, excitation functions, γγ coincidences and angular distributions of γ-rays. A level scheme is proposed for the newly discovered 107Sn, and new states belonging to 107In are given. Microscopic calculations have been performed in a three-quasiparticle approximation for a large number of tin isotopes in order to get a wide view of the systematic evolution of the various states.  相似文献

Protons accelerated to 30 MeV were used to investigate low-lying states in the odd-odd nuclei 138La and 140Pr with (p, d) reactions. The elastic scattering of 30 MeV protons and 23 MeV deuterons was also studied to determine optical potentials. Experimental angular distributions are compared with distorted-wave Born approximation calculations to extract spin, parity, and spectroscopic factors for levels up to 432 keV of excitation in 140Pr and 530 keV in 138La. Comparisons with the simple shell-model predictions and extended shell-model calculations are presented. The 140Pr levels appear experimentally to have an almost pure particle-hole structure whereas the 138La levels exhibit substantial mixing.  相似文献
