The differential cross section of the elastic scattering 3He(4He, 4He)3He has been measured at center of mass energies Ec.m. between 28 and 44 MeV and in the c.m. angular range of 20° to 160°. The 3He polarization P at Ec.m. = 42 MeV and θc.m. = 132° was determined in a double scattering experiment. The analysis of the cross section data with the optical and the cluster model has been described previously. The phase shifts obtained in the cluster model calculations were used as starting values in a phase shift analysis. The resulting final real phase shifts and elasticity parameters give good fits to the cross section data. At 44 MeV the elasticity parameters show a pronounced odd-even dependence on angular momentum which had been found already in the case of the real phase shifts. The result of the polarization experiment |P| < 0.22 is consistent with cluster model predictions.  相似文献

An attempt is made to describe the experimental data on elastic interaction of π-mesons on light nuclei in the energy region 68–208 MeV. As the theoretical basis we use the approximate four-particle equations modified in the spirit of the impulse approximation. Agreement with the data in the forward hemisphere is achieved for all energies. For backward scattering the agreement exists only at Eπ = 68 MeV and Eπ = 208 MeV.  相似文献

Large-angle p-3He elastic scattering differential cross section have been measured at Ep = 415 and 600 MeV where they look very similar, and at 800 MeV where the cross section is 10% of the value at 600 MeV. A one-meson-plus-2N exchange mechanism could explain this feature.  相似文献

The p-4He elastic differential cross section has been measured at a kinetic energy of 2.68 GeV. The momentum transfer region studied is t = 0.15–0.66 (GeV/c)2. The cross section displays a shallow first minimum and shape very similar to recent data at 1 GeV.  相似文献

All the available experimental data (cross sections, projectile and target polarizations, polarization transfer coefficients) on p-3He elastic scattering up to ~10 MeV are analyzed on a unified basis in the framework of a separable potential model. This allows a phase-shift analysis which is model dependent, but is averaged over a wide energy interval (757 experimental points are reproduced by 27 model parameters). The calculations confirm some indications, already present in the literature, of a weak S-D tensor mixing, and strong singlet-triplet mixing in the P-states. Our conclusions are that probably the leading non-central effect is given by the coupling s1 · l between the incident proton spin s1 and the orbital angular momentum of relative motion. Finally, the phase shifts and observables are recalculated using the p-3He potential parameters, but switching off the Coulomb interaction. The results are compared with the (few) n-3H experimental cross sections of the literature, and the agreement is good, as expected on the basis of the charge-symmetry law.  相似文献

Elastic scattering of 288,340,480 and 699 MeV Alpha-particles was measured on 208Pb, 116Sn and 58Ni. The data were analysed in terms of a phenomenological optical model. The optical potentials obtained were found to vary consistently with the target nucleus and the incident energy. The radial zone where the potentials are well determined was studied in detail. The data for 208Pb were also analysed with a folding model. The energy dependence of the strong-absorption radius and of the reaction cross section shows that the nuclear surface becomes slightly transparent for incident energies above 150 MeV per nucleon.  相似文献

The deuteron-proton elastic scattering has been studied in the multiple-scattering expansion formalism. Primary attention has been given to such relativistic problems as a deuteron wave function in a moving frame and transformation of spin states due to Wigner rotation. Parametrization of the nucleon—nucleon t matrix has been used to take the off-energy-shell effects into account. The vector, A y , and tensor, A yy , analyzing powers of the deuteron have been calculated at two deuteron kinetic energies: 395 and 1200 MeV. The elastic scattering of 3He and 4He from Zr, Mo, Cd, and Te isotopes is studied at incident energies near the Coulomb barrier. Marked differences are observed between the excitation curves of 3He and 4He. These differences are shown to be due to a large surface absorption in the 3He scattering. A systematic study of the size parameters deduced from the present and other 4He experiments shows deviations from the A13 law for nuclei near closed neutron shells.  相似文献

The Faddeev equation for three-body scattering at arbitrary energies is formulated in momentum space and directly solved in terms of momentum vectors without employing a partial wave decomposition. For identical bosons this results in a three-dimensional integral equation in five variables, magnitudes of relative momenta and angles. The cross sections for both elastic and breakup processes in the intermediate energy range up to about 1 GeV are calculated based on a Malfliet-Tjon type potential, and the convergence of the multiple scattering series is investigated.  相似文献

The pion-three-nucleon system is investigated using coupled Schrödinger equations. The coupling between the four-body (πNNN) and three-body (NNN) systems is explicitly implemented by operators for emission and absorption of the pion by each nucleon. The only simplifying assumption is the separable form for amplitudes pertaining to pure potential scattering. A set of Amado-Lovelace type equations is derived, from which the amplitude for the reaction π + 3He→ π + 3He can be evaluated. The integral equations involve intermediate integration over single relative momenta so that subsequent numerical solution is within reach.  相似文献

The cross sections for elastic electron scattering from 3He and 4He were measured for the momentum transfer range from 0.45–2.0 fm?1. The cross sections were separated into their longitudinal (charge) and transverse (magnetic) contributions using the Rosenbluth formula. The charge and magnetic form factors were obtained model-independently.The rms charge radii were found to be 1.671 (14) fm for 4He and 1.976 (15) fm for 3He, and the magnetic rms radius of 3He is 1.99 (6) fm. The mis charge radius for 4He is in excellent agreement with the latest muonic data.Comparison of the form factors was made with Faddeev three-body calculations using realistic two-body NN interactions. At present the theoretical calculation is not able to reproduce the experimental data.  相似文献

An elastic scattering phase shift analysis based on McIntyre parametrization is presented. It has been applied to12C+12C system at 360- and 1,016 MeV incident energies as well as to16O scattering on12C,40Ca,90Zr and208Pb targets at 1,503 MeV. The success of this model allows the interplay between diffraction and refraction to be pinned down: a presence of a nuclear rainbow is clearly evidenced in several cases.  相似文献

The elastic proton-deuteron scattering cross sections at back angles have been calculated in the light of Kerman-Kisslinger model, using a generalised baryon transfer mechanism on the assumption that theN *'s exist (with a probability~1 %) in the deuteron and that the backward peak is caused by their exchange. The effect of numerous competing open inelastic channels at intermediate energies on the elastic cross section is computed in a particularly simple model of Sopkovich. The resultant damping of the back scattering amplitude is expressed directly in terms of the forward angle elastic scattering data. The results are compared with the experimental cross sections in the energy range of 1.5–2.5 GeV.  相似文献
