The inverse problem considered in this paper is to determine the shape and the impedance of crack from a knowledge of the time-harmonic incident field and the corresponding far field pattern of the scattered waves in two-dimension. The combined single- and double-layer potential is used to approach the scattered waves. As an important feature, this method does not require the solution of $u$ and $\partial u / \partial \nu$ at each iteration. An approximate method is presented and the convergence of this method is proven. Numerical examples are given to show that this method is both accurate and simple to use.  相似文献

We use a gap function in order to compare the torsional performances of different reinforced plates under the action of external forces. Then, we address a shape optimization problem, whose target is to minimize the torsional displacements of the plate: This leads us to set up a minimaxmax problem, which includes a new kind of worst-case optimization. Two kinds of reinforcements are considered: One aims at strengthening the plate and the other aims at weakening the action of the external forces. For both of them, we study the existence of optima within suitable classes of external forces and reinforcements. Our results are complemented with numerical experiments and with a number of open problems and conjectures.  相似文献

Closed cracks in a bending plate are studied in a two-dimensional formulation based on the Kirchhoff theory and the theory of the two-dimensional stressed state. A generalization of the end contact model is discussed which makes it possible formulate a geometrically linear contact bending problem for a plate with a rectilinear cut including the interaction of symmetric and antisymmetric deformation modes. A procedure for reducing the problem to a system of singular integral equations is described. An example of the calculations is given.  相似文献

The bilateral or unilateral contact problem with Coulomb friction between two elastic bodies is considered [1]. An algorithm is introduced to solve the resulting finite element system by a non‐overlapping domain decomposition method. The global problem is transformed to a smaller problem on the contact surface. The solution is obtained by using a successive approximation method, in each step of this algorithm we solve two intermediate problems the first with prescribed tangential pressure and the second with prescribed normal pressure.  相似文献

Invariant Integrals for the Equilibrium Problem for a Plate with a Crack   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:1  
We consider the equilibrium problem for a plate with a crack. The equilibrium of a plate is described by the biharmonic equation. Stress free boundary conditions are given on the crack faces. We introduce a perturbation of the domain in order to obtain an invariant Cherepanov–Rice-type integral which gives the energy release rate upon the quasistatic growth of a crack. We obtain a formula for the derivative of the energy functional with respect to the perturbation parameter which is useful in forecasting the development of a crack (for example, in study of local stability of a crack). The derivative of the energy functional is representable as an invariant integral along a sufficiently smooth closed contour. We construct some invariant integrals for the particular perturbations of a domain: translation of the whole cut and local translation along the cut.  相似文献

In the current work, we consider the inverse conductivity problem of recovering inclusion with one measurement. First, we use conformal mapping techniques for determining the location of the anomaly and estimating its size. We then get a good initial guess for quasi-Newton type method. The inverse problem is treated from the shape optimization point of view. We give a rigorous proof for the existence of the derivative of the state function and of shape functionals. We consider both least squares fitting and Kohn and Vogelius functionals. For the numerical implementation, we use a parameterization of shapes coupled with a boundary element method. Several numerical examples indicate the superiority of the Kohn and Vogelius functional over least squares fitting.  相似文献

裂纹位置和尺寸等是工程监测需掌握的非常重要的信息.光滑扩展有限元是近年来发展起来的一种模拟裂纹的有效方法,即使采用极度不规则单元仍可获得精确的模拟结果,无需单元"质量"要求.因此在单元自动划分方面具有突出的优势,这一特点也使得该方法适用于裂纹反求过程的实时调用和含裂纹仿真模型的网格自动划分.研究基于光滑扩展有限元的不确定反求方法,用于识别平面弹性板中直裂纹位置和尺寸参数,即采用光滑扩展有限元法进行拉伸工况的正问题分析,通过测量平板边缘的节点位移建立优化模型,调用遗传算法实现裂纹参数的反求.反求过程中将材料的弹性模量和Poisson(泊松)比作为区间不确定变量,采用一阶Taylor(泰勒)公式实现了平板裂纹参数的不确定性反求.  相似文献

A piece wise-homogeneous plane made up of twodifferent materials and reinforced by an elastic unclusion is considered on a semi-finite section where the different materials join. Vertical and horizontal forces are applied to the inclusion which haz a variable thichness and a variable elasticity modulus.Under certain conditions the problem is reduced to integrodifferential equations of third order. The solution is constructed effectively by applying the methods of theory of analytic functions to a boundary value problem of the Carleman type for a strip. In many structural situations, e.g. in aerospace engineering, composite plates with edge reinforcements are used, for example as stiffeners of a fuselage section of an airplane. Based on an explicit analysis of the buckling behavior of the laminate plate, a minimum stiffness criterion is presented in this contribution. A transformation of the governing equations into a dimensionless system is used, that proved to be very advantageous. Besides a minimum stiffness criterion that can be used for generation of minimum stiffness diagrams, an absolute minimum stiffness is found that enables the reinforcement to act like a simple support for arbitrarily slender plates.
