By using of the multiple scattering methods, we study the negative refraction imaging effect of solid acoustic waves by two-dimensional three-component phononic crystals composed of coated solid inclusions placed in solid matrix. We show that localized resonance mechanism brings on a group of flat single-mode bands in low-frequency region, which provides two equivalent frequency surfaces (EFS) close to circular. The two constant frequency surfaces correspond to two Bloch modes, a right-handed and a left-handed, whose leading mode are respectively transverse (T) and longitudinal (L) modes. The negative refraction behaviors of the two kinds of modes have been demonstrated by simulation of a Gaussian beam through a finite system. High-quality far-field imaging by a planar lens for transverse or longitudinal waves has been realized separately. This three-component phononic crystal may thus serve as a mode selector in negative refraction imaging of solid acoustic waves.  相似文献

We report on picosecond ultrasonic measurements obtained on aluminum and platinum nanostructures with variable dot size and lateral periodicity which realized a 2D phononic crystal. Performing investigations at different resolution scales, we have identified individual modes of vibration depending on the dot size, and mode of vibration strongly correlated with the bi-dimensional organization. The platinum dots sputtered on an aluminum layer have shown a behavior of isolated oscillators without any coupling between neighbor elements in this phononic crystal. The frequency of such normal modes, extracted from time resolved measurements are in good agreement with 3D finite element simulations. In contrast, with aluminum dot systems where the coupling is more efficient we observe a complex spectrum of vibrational modes related to the band structure induced by the bi-dimensional patterning.  相似文献

Many materials used as phononic crystals (PCs) are viscoelastic one. It is believed that viscosity results in damping to attenuate wave propagation, which may help to tune the defect modes or band gaps of viscoelastic phononic crystals. To investigate above phenomenon, firstly, we have extended the application of boundary element method (BEM) to the study of viscoelastic phononic crystals with and without a point defect. A new developed BEM within the framework of Bloch theory can easily deal with viscoelastic phononic crystals with arbitrary shapes of the scatterers. Experimental methods have been put forward based on the self-made viscoelastic phononic crystals. Verified by the experimental results, systematic comprehensive parametric studies on the band structure of viscoelastic phononic crystals with varying factors (final–initial value ratio, relaxation time, volume fraction of scatterers, shapes of scatterers) have been discussed by the numerical simulation. To further address the possibility to change the defect modes, the band structure of viscoelastic phononic crystals with a point defect has been studied based on the numerical and experimental methods. From present research work, it can be found that by adjusting the two viscous parameters combined with considering the effect of volume fraction and shapes, a wider and lower initial forbidden frequency or lower and higher quality factor resonant frequency can be obtained.  相似文献

Using the finite element method (FEM), we investigate the existence of absolute band gaps and localized modes associated with a guide in thin films of phononic crystals. Two different structures based on two-dimensional (2D) phononic crystals are considered, namely a free standing plate and a plate deposited on a silicon substrate. The 2D phononic crystal is constituted by a square array of cylindrical holes drilled in an active piezoelectric PZT5A matrix. We demonstrate the existence of absolute band gap in the band structure of the phononic crystal plate and, then, the possibility of guided modes inside a linear defect created by removing one row of air holes. In the case of the supported plate, we show the existence of an absolute forbidden band in the plate modes when the thickness of the substrate significantly exceeds the plate thickness.  相似文献

The interaction of Love waves with square array of pillars deposited on a cavity defined in a 2D holey phononic crystal is numerically investigated using Finite Element Method. First, the existence of SH surface modes is demonstrated separately for phononic crystals that consist of square arrayed holes, or rectangular arrayed Ni pillars, respectively in, or on, a SiO2 film deposited on a ST-cut quartz substrate. The coupling between SH modes and torsional mode in pillars induces a transmission dip that occurs at a frequency located in the range of the band-gap of the holey phononic crystal. Second, a cavity is constructed by removing lines of holes in the holey phononic crystal and results in a transmission peak that matches the dip. The optimal geometrical parameters enable us to create a coupling of the cavity mode and the localized pillar mode by introducing lines of pillars into the cavity, which significantly improved the efficiency of the cavity without increasing the crystal size. The obtained results will pave the way to implement advanced designs of high-performance electroacoustic sensors based on coupling modes in phononic crystals.  相似文献

本文利用集中质量法对弹性纵波在一维指数形截面有限周期声子晶体中的传播进行了研究, 得到了频率响应函数的表达式. 与一维等截面的声子晶体相比, 指数形变截面声子晶体带隙内的衰减值随着输出端截面积的增大而减小, 同时带隙的起始频率降低而截止频率升高, 也即带隙的宽度会得到拓展. 晶格常数和材料组份比变化时, 变截面声子晶体带隙的起始频率和截止频率的变化趋势与等截面时的声子晶体相同. 希望本文的研究能够推动声子晶体在减振降噪等领域中的应用.  相似文献

A novel small size multi-band gaps phononic crystal (hPC) composed of the periodic plumbum and aluminum mass has been investigated in this paper, we calculated the dispersion relations and the displacement fields with finite element method (FEM). The influences of the geometrical parameters and materials parameters on the band structure are further investigated. We studied the influence factors of band gap by the model of origin anti-resonance. There are many flat bands in the characteristic frequency curve. 本文提出了一种新型局域共振复合单元声子晶体结构, 并结合有限元方法对结构的带隙机理及低频共振带隙特性进行了分析和研究. 共振带隙产生的频率位置由所对应的局域共振模态的固有频率决定, 并且带隙宽度与局域共振模态的品质因子及其与基体之间的耦合作用强度有关. 采用局域共振复合单元结构可以实现声子晶体的多重共振, 在低频范围能打开多条共振带隙, 但受到共振单元排列方式的的影响. 由于纵向和横向局域共振模态的简并, 复合单元结构能在200 Hz以下的低频范围打开超过60%宽度的共振带隙, 最低带隙频率低至18 Hz. 这为声子晶体结构获得低频、超低频带隙提供了一种有效的方法. 关键词: 局域共振 低频带隙 复合单元 声子晶体  相似文献

从理论上提出一种由局域共振单元组成的声子晶体低频多通道滤波模型.在二维三组元局域共振声子晶体中引入不同填充率的共振单元构成波导结构,通过有限元法计算出其能带结构、透射曲线和透射场图.结果显示:这种设计能够在低频带隙范围内不同填充率散射体的共振频率附近产生新的分立模,且这些分立模能够使相应的声波在声子晶体中沿波导方向传播;这些分立模只与相应的共振单元相关,抗干扰能力强.所得结果为低频多通道滤波器的设计提供了一种新的理论依据.  相似文献

提出了一维准周期结构的声子晶体模型.对弹性波通过该一维准周期结构声子晶体的透射系数进行了数值计算,并与周期结构的透射系数进行了比较.计算结果表明,弹性波通过一维准周期结构声子晶体时,同样会有带隙的出现,且带隙所在频率范围与周期结构的情形完全一样,不同的是在准周期结构声子晶体中,带隙内有很强的局域共振模.对此局域模性质的研究有助于声波或弹性波滤波器的制作. 关键词: 准周期结构 声子晶体 局域化  相似文献

We report on an ‘in plane mode’ band gaps investigation of a novel diamond CRS (circle-rectangle-square) shaped holey phononic crystals in the desired operating frequency ranges. An ultra-wide band gap for diamond in the ‘in plane mode’ is observed. We also investigate an ultra-wide acoustic band gap for a finite one-dimensional (1D) diamond CRS phononic crystal (PnC) in the ‘out of plane mode’, and an ultra-wide acoustic band gap of a finite two-dimensional (2D) diamond CRS phononic crystal (PnC) in the ‘out of plane mode’ based on the FEA (Finite Element Analysis) method. We analyze that the transmission response of diamond in the length extension and width extension manner is more reasonable. Ultra-wide peak attenuations in the transmission spectra of a CRS shaped diamond phononic crystal successfully reveal the complete band gaps. The wide band gap of a CRS shaped diamond phononic crystal and the wide peak attenuation strongly agree in the same frequency region. It is analyzed that when a CRS-diamond phononic crystal is employed for MEMS resonators with different tether widths the quality Q of the resonators improved, and the energy losses decrease with extremely low insertion loss. In addition, it is observed that the vibrational displacement of a resonator is reduced by employing a diamond phononic crystal.  相似文献

Using a finite element method based on the Bloch theorem, a new phononic crystal composed of periodic slotted tubes with internal rib structure in air is investigated. Two parallel plates with slit are introduced into the inclusion as the internal rib structure and its effect on band gaps is studied. The band structure and acoustic modes of the PC are calculated. Results show that the starting frequency of the first band gap is rather lower than that of slotted tubes without rib structure. The internal rib structure plays an important role in both the lower and upper edges of the first band gap. Some rib structural parameters are also studied for their effects on the first band gap. Results show that the first gap can be modulated widely by these parameters and the Helmholtz resonator theory can be used to explain the relationship between the band gap and the parameters.  相似文献

提出了一维广义Fibonacci准周期结构的声子晶体模型. 对弹性波通过该一维准周期结构声子晶体的透射系数进行数值计算,并与周期结构和标准Fibonacci准周期结构声子晶体的透射系数进行比较. 结果表明,利用一维广义Fibonacci准周期结构的声子晶体可获得比周期结构和标准Fibonacci准周期结构声子晶体更大的带隙范围,同时在带隙内有更丰富的局域模式存在. 对局域模性质的研究有助于声波或弹性波滤波器的制作. 关键词: 广义Fibonacci准周期结构 声子晶体 局域化  相似文献

针对汽车压缩机低频振动噪声控制难的问题,基于局域共振机理在压缩机外壳设计一种声子晶体结构。借助有限元法,计算声子晶体带隙范围,阐明声子晶体结构参数与在压缩机外壳布置方式选取原因,分析其具备的优势。而后,定制各部分材料组装声子晶体实体并布置于压缩机外壳后端面,搭建压缩机振动噪声台架试验台,选取4个声学场点采集辐射噪声,并记录压缩机本体振动变化情况。进一步,选取某型号汽车搭建压缩机整车振动噪声试验台,在驾驶员座椅右侧靠近人耳处设置声学麦克风采集驾驶室内辐射噪声,并记录压缩机本体振动变化情况。试验结果表明,压缩机外壳安装声子晶体后,在声子晶体带隙频率范围对应转速内,台架与整车试验测得总辐射噪声与压缩机本体各向振动加速度RMS值基本存在改善,且部分转速范围效果显著。本文为汽车压缩机低频振动噪声控制研究提供了新的参考。  相似文献

The T-square fractal two-dimensional phononic crystal model is presented in this article.A comprehensive study is performed for the Bragg scattering and locally resonant fractal phononic crystal.We find that the band structures of the fractal and non-fractal phononic crystals at the same filling ratio are quite different through using the finite element method.The fractal design has an important impact on the band structures of the two-dimensional phononic crystals.  相似文献

利用有限元方法,对设计的涂有硅橡胶包裹层的空心铅柱体嵌入到4个环氧树脂短连接板中构成的声子晶体板的低频带隙特性进行了研究,分析了其能带结构、传输损失及位移场。与正方连接板粘连结构、嵌入结构和细连接短板粘连结构这3种传统声子晶体板的带隙特性作对比,说明具有包裹层、短连接板结构的声子晶体板更容易产生低频宽带;观察位移矢量场的振动模态,并结合弹簧质量模型,解释了带隙形成的机理;通过讨论连接板的宽度、散射体的内外半径及高度对第一完全带隙的影响,说明连接板宽度越窄,厚度越小,散射体内半径越小,外半径越大,高度越高,越有利于带隙的扩展。  相似文献

In this study, infinite and finite periodic body centered cubic (BCC) and face centered cubic (FCC) lattices with and without inertial amplification mechanisms are investigated. These three-dimensional lattices are modeled with mass and spring elements that are parametrically varied to observe their effect on phononic gap (stop band) limits. When inertial amplification mechanisms are used in both of the infinite periodic lattices, wide low frequency band gaps are generated. Moreover, wide and deep phononic gaps are obtained by using moderate amount of unit cells in the case of finite periodic lattices.  相似文献

固/固型声子晶体在抑制噪音和隔离振动等工程领域有着潜在的应用。利用有限元方法对存在缺陷的二维正方晶格金/环氧树脂声子晶体进行了研究,数值计算结果表明弹性波在点缺陷处局域,带隙中出现多条缺陷模,点缺陷数目的增加对声子晶体局域特性产生显著影响;弹性波沿着线缺陷传播形成波导,改变线缺陷结构可以改变弹性波传播方向和实现信号的分离。对声子晶体缺陷特性的研究可为声学滤波器和波导等器件的设计提供参考。  相似文献

以二维水银/四氯化碳体系正方格子声子晶体为研究对象,采用平面波法结合超元胞的方法研究了声子晶体异质位错结的能带结构及三种形式的位错对带隙内传导模影响。结果表明,对于原型异质结,在带隙中不会出现界面传导模;横、纵向及横纵向同时作用的位错效应,在界面处形成传导模,可以使处于禁带频率范围内的声波沿位错通道进行传播,从而形成声波导。  相似文献

In this Letter we propose the use of hypersonic phononic crystals to control the emission and propagation of high frequency phonons. We report the fabrication of high quality, single crystalline hypersonic crystals using interference lithography and show that direct measurement of their phononic band structure is possible with Brillouin light scattering. Numerical calculations are employed to explain the nature of the observed propagation modes. This work lays the foundation for experimental studies of hypersonic crystals and, more generally, phonon-dependent processes in nanostructures.  相似文献
