In this study, three new aminobiphenylglyoximes, [L1H2] N-(2-methoxy)aminobiphenylglyoxime, [L2H2] N-(3-methoxy)aminobiphenylglyoxime and L[3H2] N-(4-methoxy)aminobiphenylglyoxime have been synthesized by the reaction of (E,E)-4′-biphenylchloroglyoxime with 2-Methoxyaniline, 3-Methoxyaniline and 4-Methoxyaniline in absolute ethanol. The preparation NiII, CoII and CuII complexes of these ligands are described. The ligands and their complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, IR, mass, H1 and 13C NMR spectra, thermogravimetric analyses (t.g.a) and magnetic susceptibility measurements. Ligands complexing properties were studied by the liquid–liquid extraction of selected alkali (Li+, Na+, K+, Cs+) and transition metals (Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Cd2+, Pb2+). It has been observed that all ligands show a high affinity to Cu2+ ions, whereas almost no affinity to alkali metals. The extraction equilibrium constants (K ex) for complexes of ligands with Cu2+ metal picrates between dichloromethane and water have been determined at 25°C.  相似文献

In this study, three new vic-dioximes, [L1H2], N-(5-chloro-2-methoxyphenyl)amino-1-acetyl-1-yclohexenylglyoxime, [L2H2],N-(3-chloro-4-methoxyphenyl)amino-1-acetyl-1-cyclohexenylgly-oxime and [L3H2], N-(3-chloro-2-methoxyphenyl)amino-1-acetyl-1-cyclohexenylglyoxime were synthesized from 1-acetyl-1-cyclohexeneglyoxime and the corresponding substituted aromatic amines. Metal complexes of these ligands were also synthesized with Ni(II), Cu(II) and Co(II) salts. The structures of these new compounds (ligands and complexes) were characterized with FT-IR, magnetic susceptibility measurement, molar conductivity measurements, mass spectrophotometer measurements, thermal methods (TGA), 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectral data and elemental analyses.  相似文献

Two new potentially hexadentate Schiff bases, [H2L1] and [H2L2], were prepared by condensation of 2-(3-(2-aminophenoxy)naphthalen-2-yloxy)benzenamine with 3,5-di-tert-butyl-2-hydroxy benzaldehyde and o-vanillin, respectively. Reaction of these ligands with cobalt(II) chloride, copper(II) perchlorate, and zinc(II) nitrate gave complexes ML. The ligands and their complexes have been characterized by a variety of physico-chemical techniques. The solid and solution state investigations show that the complexes are neutral. Molecular structures of [CuL1], [CoL1]?·?C7H8, and [ZnL2]?·?CH3CN, which have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, indicate that [CuL1] and [ZnL2]?·?CH3CN display distorted square planar and distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry, respectively; the geometry around cobalt in [CoL1]?·?C7H8 is almost exactly between trigonal bipyramidal and square pyramidal. The synthesized ligands and their complexes were screened for their antibacterial activities against eight bacterial strains and the ligands and complexes have antibacterial effects. The most effective ones are [CuL2] against Proteus vulgaris, Serratia marcescens, Staphylococcus subtilis, [H2L1] against S. subtilis, and [H2L2] against S. subtilis.  相似文献

Three new vic-dioxime ligands, [N-(ethyl-4-amino-1-piperidine carboxylate)-phenylglyoxime (L1H2), N-(ethyl-4-amino-1-piperidine carboxylate)-glyoxime (L2H2), and N,N′-bis(ethyl-4-amino-1-piperidine carboxylate)-glyoxime (L3H2)], and their Co(II) with Cu(II) metal complexes, were synthesized for the first time. Mononuclear complexes of these ligands with a 1:2 metal-ligand ratio were prepared with Co(II) and Cu(II) salts. The BF2+-capped Co(II) and mononuclear complexes of the vic-dioxime were prepared for [Co(L1·BF2)2] and [Co(L2·BF2)2]. The ligands act in a polydentate fashion bonding through nitrogen atoms in the presence of a base, as do most vic-dioximes. The cobalt(II) and copper(II) complexes are non-electrolytes as shown by their molar conductivities (ΛM) in DMF. The structures of the ligands and complexes were determined by elemental analyses, FT-i.r., u.v.–vis., 1H- and 13C-n.m.r. spectra, magnetic susceptibility measurements, and molar conductivity. The comparative electrochemical studies show that the stabilities of the reduced or oxidized species and the electrode potentials of the complexes are affected by the substituents attached on the oxime moieties of the complexes.  相似文献

Four different types of new ligands Ar[COC(NOH)R] n (Ar=biphenyl, n = 1 H2L1; Ar=biphenyl, n = 2 H4L2; Ar=diphenylmethane, n = 1 H2L3; Ar=diphenylmethane, n = 2 H4L4; R=2-amino-4-chlorophenol in all ligands) have been obtained from 1 equivalent of chloroketooximes Ar[COC(NOH)Cl] n (HL1-H2L4) and 1 equivalent of 2-amino-4-chlorophenol (for H2L1 and H2L3) or 2 equivalent of 2-amino-4-chlorophenol (for H4L2 and H4L4). (Mononuclear or binuclear cobalt(II), nickel(II), copper(II) and zinc(II) complexes were synthesized with these ligands.) These compounds have been characterized by elemental analyses, AAS, infra-red spectra and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The ligands have been further characterized by 1H NMR. The results suggest that the dinuclear complexes of H2L1 and H2L3 have a metal:ligand ratio of 1:2; the mononuclear complexes of H4L2 and H4L4 have a metal:ligand ratio of 1:1 and dinuclear complexes H4L2 and H4L4 have a metal:ligand ratio of 2:1. The binding properties of the ligands towards selected transition metal ions (MnII, CoII, NiII, CuII, ZnII, PbII, CdII, HgII) have been established by extraction experiments. The ligands show strong binding ability towards mercury(II) ion. In addition, the thermal decomposition of some complexes is studied in nitrogen atmosphere.  相似文献

Three new potentially hexadentate N4O2 Schiff-base ligands (H2L1, H2L2 and H2L3) were prepared from the reaction of the polyamines N,N′-bis(2-aminophenyl)-1,2-ethanediamine (L1), N,N′-bis(2-aminophenyl)-1,3-propanediamine (L2) and N,N′-bis(2-aminophenyl)-1,4-butanediamine (L3), respectively with salicylaldehyde. Reaction of the Schiff bases with Ni(II) salts in the presence of N(Et)3 gave the neutral complexes [NiL4], [NiL5] and [NiL6]. Ni(II) complexes of the polyamines were also prepared. One of complexes [Ni(L1)(MeCN)2](ClO4)2·MeCN has been characterized through X-ray diffraction methods.  相似文献

Three novel Zn(II) complexes,[Zn4L1Cl4]-3H2O(1),[Zn4L2Cl4]-2DMF(2) and[Zn4L3Cl4]H2O(3),have been synthesized and structurally characterized. In these complexes, interesting 32-membered dodecadentate macrocyclic ligands were generated in situ by ’2 + 2’ type condensation reactions between a tetraamine and various dialdehydes. All the complexes are isostructurally tetranuclear Zn(Ⅱ) complexes, containing endogenous alkoxo and phenoxo bridges.Applications of the macrocyclic ligands as Zn2+ sensors have been investigated.Take H4L1 for example,it exhibits a 4-fold fluorescence enhancement upon the addition of 2 equiv.of Zn2+ in MeOH.  相似文献

Few novel mixed ligand copper(II) complexes of the type [Cu(L)(Cl)2(H2O)], [Cu(L)2]Cl2, [Cu(L)L1] and [Cu(L)(phen)H2O]Cl2 (where L is the ligand obtained from the condensation of N-(2-aminoethyl)-1,3-propanediamine with m-nitrobenzaldehyde (La)/o-chlorobenzaldehyde (Lb)/benzaldehyde (Lc)/p-methoxybenzaldehyde (Ld)/p-hydroxybenzaldehyde (Le)/furfuraldehyde (Lf)/pyrrole-2-carboxaldehyde (Lg); L1 is another ligand obtained from the condensation of anthranilic acid with salicyaldehyde; phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) have been synthesized and characterized by the spectral and analytical techniques. From these data, it is found that the ligands adopt distorted octahedral geometry on metalation with Cu(II) ion. The XRD data indicate that the complexes are polycrystalline with nanosized grains. The SEM images of [Cu(La)phen(H2O)]Cl2 and [Cu(Lf)2]Cl2 complexes show that they have leaf and cauliflower like morphology. The in vitro biological screening effects of the investigated compounds have been tested against the bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Salmonella typhi, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus and fungi such as Aspergillus niger, Rhizopus stolonifer, Aspergillus flavus, Rhizoctonia bataicola and Candida albicans by the well diffusion method. A comparative study of MIC values of the Schiff base ligands and their complexes indicates that the complexes exhibit higher antimicrobial activity than the free ligands. An electrochemical study of the copper complexes containing electron withdrawing substituted ligands reveals that they prefer to bind to DNA in Cu(II) rather than Cu(I) oxidation state.  相似文献

Four new substituted amino acid ligands, N-(3-hydroxybenzyl)-glycine acid (HL1), N-(3-hydroxybenzyl)-alanine acid (HL2), N-(3-hydroxybenzyl)-phenylalanine acid (HL3), and N-(3-hydroxybenzyl)-leucine acid (HL4), were synthesized and characterized on the basis of 1H NMR, IR, ESI-MS, and elemental analyses. The crystal structures of their copper(II) complexes [Cu(L1)2]·2H2O (1), [Cu(L2)2(H2O)] (2), [Cu(L3)2(CH3OH)] (3), and [Cu(L4)2(H2O)]·H2O (4) were determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The ligands coordinate with copper(II) through secondary amine and carboxylate in all complexes. In 2, 3, and 4, additional water or methanol coordinates, completing a distorted tetragonal pyramidal coordination geometry around copper. Fluorescence titration spectra, electronic absorption titration spectra, and EB displacement indicate that all the complexes bind to CT-DNA. Intrinsic binding constants of the copper(II) complexes with CT-DNA are 1.32?×?106?M?1, 4.32?×?105?M?1, 5.00?×?105?M?1, and 5.70?×?104?M?1 for 1, 2, 3, and 4, respectively. Antioxidant activities of the compounds have been investigated by spectrophotometric measurements. The results show that the Cu(II) complexes have similar superoxide dismutase activity to that of native Cu, Zn-SOD.  相似文献

Two novel macroacylic Schiff base ligands were prepared by condensation of two diamine metal complexes, [Ni(1,2-pn)2Cl2]·3H2O and [Cu(1,2-pn)2]SO4·2H2O with o-acetoacetylphenol. The ligands MH6L(M = Ni or Cu) are hexabasic and contain two O4 coordination sites. They act as ligands towards transition metal ions yielding homo- and heteronuclear complexes of the type [NiH4 LCu(H2O)2]·4H2O, [MH2LM' 2(H2O)6], [MLM' 4(H2O)8], [MH2 LCe2(NO>3)2(H2O)2] and [NiLTh2(NO3)2(H2O)2] (M = Ni or Cu; M' = Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Ce(III), Th(IV) and UO2 (VI)). The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), IR, visible and ESR spectra, magnetic susceptibility measurements and mass spectrometry. Magnetic moments were altered by the introduction of metal cations besides the one already present in the complex ligands. The M' cations were linked to two ketonic oxygen atoms and two phenyl oxygen atoms in [NiH6 L(H2O)2] and [CuH6 L] complex ligands. All homo- and hetero-, bi- and tri-nuclear complexes show antiferromagnetic interactions which are attributed to inter- or intramolecular interactions of the metal cations. Mass spectra of the complex ligands and selected homo- and heteronuclear complexes support the formula weights of these complexes. Visible and ESR spectra as well as magnetic moments indicated that the parent mononuclear complex ligands [MH6 L] have an octahedral geometry for Ni(II) and a square-planar geometry distorted towards tetrahedral for Cu(II). The metal cations in bi-, tri- and pentanuclear complexes are octahedral or square-planar. The octahedral configuration is completed by chloride anions and/or solvent molecules.  相似文献

The new Mannich bases bis(1,4-diphenylthiosemicarbazide methyl) phosphinic acid H3L1 and bis(1,4-diphenylsemicarbazide methyl) phosphinic acid H3L2 were synthesised from the condensation of phosphinic acid, formaldehyde with 1,4-diphenyl thiosemicarbazide and 1,4-diphenylsemicarbazide, respectively. Monomeric complexes of these ligands, of general formulae K2[CrIII(L n )Cl2], K3[MnII(L n )Cl2] and K[M(L n )] (M = Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) or Hg(II); n = 1, 2), are reported. The mode of bonding and overall geometry of the complexes were determined through physico-chemical and spectroscopic methods. These studies revealed octahedral geometries for the Cr(III), Mn(II) complexes, square planar for Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes and tetrahedral for the Zn(II) and Hg(II) complexes.  相似文献

Two new soluble vic-dioxime ligands, 4-isopropylanilineglyoxime (L1H2) and 4-benzylpiperidineglyoxime (L2H2) were prepared by reacting 4-isopropylaniline and 4-benzylpiperidine with anti-chloroglyoxime. Ten metal complexes were obtanied by reacting both ligands with Cu(II),Ni(II),Co(II), Zn(II), and Cd(II) cations. The ligands and their metal complexes were elucidated by elemental analysis, IR, UV-vis, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR and also magnetic moments of the complexes were determined. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

Four unsymmetrical vic-dioximes: [L1H2] N-(4-butylphenyl)amino-amphi-glyoxime, [L2H2] N-(4-butylphenyl)amino-anti-glyoxime, [L3H2] N-(4-phenylazophenyl)amino-amphi-glyoxime and [L4H2] N-(4-phenylazophenyl)amino-anti-glyoxime have been prepared from amphi-chloroglyoxime, anti-chloroglyoxime, 4-butylaniline and 4-(phenylazo)aniline respectively. The complexes of these vic-dioximes with NiII, CoII, CuII and CdII ions have been investigated. All are insoluble in common solvents. Their i.r. spectra and elemental analyses are given, together with mass and 1H-n.m.r. spectra of the ligands.  相似文献

A series of mononuclear salen type copper(II) complexes, [CuLn] (n = 1–4), and their corresponding tetrahydrosalen complexes, [CuH2Ln] (n = 1,2) were prepared by the reaction of the N2O2 ligands with Cu(II) ion in ethanol, where H2L1 = N,N-bis(3,5-di-tert-butylsalicylidene)-2,2-dimethyle-1,3-diaminopropan, H2L2 = N,N-bis(3,5-di-tert-butylsalicylidene)-1,2-diaminopropane, H2L3 = N,N-bis(4-methoxysalicylidene)-2,2-dimethyle-1,3-diaminopropan; H2L4 = N,N-bis(4-methoxysalicylidene)-1,2-diaminopropane, H2[H2L1] = N,N-bis(2-hydroxyl-3,5-di-tert-butylphenyl)-2,2-dimethyle-1,3-diaminopropan and H2[H2L2] = N,N-bis(2-hydroxyl-3,5-di-tert-butylphenyl)-1,2-diaminopropane. The prepared ligands and complexes were characterized by the combination of IR, UV-Vis, NMR (as far as possible), elemental and thermal analyses. All prepared compounds were also evaluated for their antibacterial (Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus) and antifungal (Candida albicans) activities by the disc diffusion method. The compounds were found have no remarkable antimicrobial activities.  相似文献

Binuclear cobalt(II), nickel(II), copper(II) and zinc(II) complexes of general composition [M2L1-2(μ-Cl)Cl2] · nH2O with the Schiff-base ligands (where L1H and L2H are the potential pentadentate ligands derived by condensing 2,6-diformyl-4-methylphenol with 4-amino-3-antipyrine and 2-hydroxy-3-hydrazinoquinoxiline, respectively) have been synthesized and characterized. Analytical and spectral studies support the above formulation. 1H-NMR and IR spectra of the complexes suggest they have an endogenous phenoxide bridge, with chloride as the exogenous bridge atom. The electronic spectra of all the complexes are well characterized by broad d–d and a high intensity charge-transfer transitions. The complexes are chloro-bridged as evidenced by two intense far-IR bands centered around 270–280 cm−1. Magnetic susceptibility measurements show that complexes are antiferromagnetic in nature. The compounds show significant growth inhibitory activity against fungi Aspergillus niger and Candida albicans and moderate activity against bacteria Bacillus cirroflagellosus and Pseudomonas auresenosa.  相似文献

Chiral and racemic Salen-type Schiff-base ligands (H2L1, H2L2 and H2L3), condensed between D-(+)- and D,L-camphoric diamine (also known as (1R,3S)-1,2,2-trimethylcyclopentane-1,3-diamine) and 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde or 3,5-dibromo-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde with a 1:2 molar ratio, have been synthesized and characterized. A series of new nickel(II), palladium(II) and copper(II) complexes of these chiral and racemic ligands exhibiting different coordination number (4, 5 and 6) have been characterized with the formulae [NiL1]·CH3OH (3), [NiL1]·H2O (4), [NiL2] (5), [PdL2] (6), [Cu2(L2)2(H2O)] (7) and [NiL3(DMF)(H2O)] (8). Different solvent molecules in 3 and 4 (methanol and water molecules) as well as different apical ligands in 7 and 8 (water and DMF molecules) are involved in different O–H···O hydrogen bonding interactions to further stabilize the structures. UV–Vis (UV–Vis), circular dichroism (CD) spectra and thermogravimetric (TG) analyses for the metal complexes have also been carried out.  相似文献

Dinuclear molybdenum(VI) peroxo complexes containing Mannich base ligands having formulae [Mo2O4(O2)2L-L(H2O)2] · H2O [where L-L = N-[1-morpholinobenzyl] acetamide (MBA), N-[1-piperidinobenzyl] acetamide (PBA), N-[1-morpholino(-4-nitrobenzyl)] benzamide (MPNBB), N-[1-piperidino(-3-nitrobenzyl)] benzamide (PMNBB), N-[1-morpholino(-2-nitrobenzyl)] acetamide (MONBA), and N-[1-morpholino(-3-nitrobenzyl)] acetamide (MMNBA)] have been synthesized by stirring ammonium heptamolybdate with excess 30% aqueous hydrogen peroxide followed by treatment with ethanolic solution of corresponding ligands. The complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, magnetic measurements, infrared (IR), electronic, TGA/DTA, mass spectral, and 1H NMR studies. The complexes are non-electrolytes and diamagnetic. The IR spectral studies suggest that the ligands are bidentate to metal through carbonyl oxygen and ring nitrogen. Thermal analyses provide conclusive evidence for the presence of coordinated, as well as lattice water in the complexes. Dinuclear complexes preserve the individuality of the molybdenum oxo peroxo core. The complexes exhibit higher antibacterial activity against bacterium Ralastonia solanacearum (Pseudomonas solanacearum) than the free ligands.  相似文献

N-heterocyclic carbene ligands with picolyl (L1H2Br2, L3H2Br2) and benzyl (L2H2Br2, L4H2Br2) linked biphenyl backbone were synthesized and characterized. Their palladium(II) complexes [PdL1]Br2 ( 1 ), [PdL2Br2] ( 2 ), [PdL3]Br2 ( 3 ), and [PdL4Br2] ( 4 ) were synthesized by direct method using Pd(OAc)2. All complexes ( 1 – 4 ) were characterized by CHN analysis, electrospray ionization-MS, nuclear magnetic resonance, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Molecular structures confirm the distorted square planar geometry around the Pd(II) center. All of them showed good catalytic activity in acylative Suzuki cross coupling of phenyl boronic acid with benzoyl chloride to afford benzophenone in good yields.  相似文献

Seven new bi‐ and polyhomonuclear transition metal complexes with three polyhydroxlated bisazodianil ligands were synthesized and characterized. The ligands were derived from condensation of 6‐(5‐formyl‐2‐hydroxyphenylazo)‐2,4‐dihydroxypyrimidine with aliphatic diamines (H8L1, H8L2 and H6L3). The data of elemental and thermal analyses, molar conductance measurement, IR, electronic and ESR spectra as well as magnetic moment measurements support the formation of [L1Co7Cl6(H2O)10]·22H2O ( 1 ), [H2L2Mn6Cl6(H2O)8]·3H2O·2EtOH ( 3 ), [L2Co8Cl8(H2O)12]·24H2O ( 4 ), [H4L3Co2Cl2(H2O)2]·8H2O·2EtOH ( 6 ) with a tetrahedral geometry and [H2L1Ni5Cl4(H2O)16]·19H2O·EtOH ( 2 ), [L2Ni8Cl8(H2O)28]·8H2O·EtOH ( 5 ) with an octahedral geometry while [H6L3Cu3(H2O)7]Cl3·10H2O ( 7 ) has a distorted tetrahedral arrangement. The mode of bonding between the metal ions and the ligand molecules is determined and the metal‐metal interaction was studied. The activation thermo‐kinetic parameters for the thermal decomposition steps of the complexes E*, ΔH*, ΔS*, and ΔG* were calculated.  相似文献
