For a fourth-order pseudoparabolic equation with nonsmooth coefficients in a rectangular domain, we consider the Dirichlet problem with nonclassical conditions that do not require matching conditions. We justify the equivalence of these conditions and the classical boundary conditions for the case in which the solution of the problem is sought in a Sobolev space.  相似文献

We consider a mixed problem with Dirichlet homogeneous boundary conditions and nonzero initial conditions for a nonlinear coupled evolution system of equations in a domain unbounded in time. The conditions of existence of a generalized solution are obtained. It is shown that no solution of the problem exists at a negative initial value of the energy integral.  相似文献

We consider linear fractional differential operator equations involving the Caputo derivative. The goal of this paper is to establish conditions for the unique solvability of the inverse Cauchy problem for these equations. We use properties of the Mittag-Leffler function and the calculus of sectorial operators in a Banach space. For equations with operators in a general form we obtain sufficient conditions for the unique solvability, and for equations with densely defined sectorial operators we obtain necessary and sufficient unique solvability conditions.  相似文献

In the numerical solution of the diffraction problem for an acoustic plane wave in a half-plane with a cut, boundary conditions that are equivalent to the radiation conditions at infinity are set in a neighborhood of the points of the cut. Joining the physical boundary conditions on the cut, a closing set of equations of order 4N, where N is the number of grid points on the cut, is obtained. The so-called Green’s grid function for the half-plane is used, which makes it possible to pass from one grid layer to another one for the solution satisfying certain conditions at infinity.  相似文献

The group theoretic approach is applied for solving the problem of unsteady natural convection flow of micropolar fluid along a vertical flat plate in a thermally stratified medium. The application of two-parameter transformation group reduces the number of independent variables in the governing system consisting of partial differential equations and a set of auxiliary conditions from three to only one independent variable, and consequently the system of governing partial differential equations with boundary conditions reduces to a system of ordinary differential equations with appropriate boundary conditions. Numerical solution of the velocity, microrotation and heat transfer have been obtained. The possible forms of the ambient temperature variation with position and time are derived.  相似文献

The problem of incidence of an acoustic wave on the interface between media with impedance interface conditions is considered. An approximate method is proposed for calculating the result of diffraction under such conditions. The method is implemented as a computer program, and the result is compared with the analytical solution for the impedance conditions and with the calculations by a program for the contact boundary conditions. Good accuracy of the method and high computation speed are demonstrated, which allow one to apply the proposed approximate method to solving both direct and inverse problems of acoustics.  相似文献

Two theorems on conditions under which a two-dimensional surface in Euclidean 5-space is contained in a hypersphere and one theorem on conditions under which such a surface is contained in a hyperplane are proved. The notion of hyperbolic and elliptic domains on a surface are introduced. The conditions in the theorems are expressed in terms of the behavior of the plane of the normal curvature ellipse of the surface and certain boundary conditions. A symmetrical rigid body with a spherical base, carrying a rotor and having a cavity in the shape of an ellipsoid of revolution, completely filled with an ideal incompressible liquid in uniform vortex motion, is moving along an absolutely rough plane. It is shown that this system admits of an energy integral, Jellett's integral, the integral of constant vorticity and a geometric integral. The construction of a Lyapunov function as a linear combination of first integrals [1] yields the sufficient conditions for the rotation of the gyrostat about the vertically positioned axis of symmetry to be stable. The conditions for the gyrostat's rotation to be unstable are found. It is shown that the rotor may prove to have either a stabilizing or destabilizing effect on the system and that the gyrostat admits of motions of the type of regular precession. The sufficient conditions for the stability of these motions are obtained.  相似文献

The Schrödinger operator in a thin infinite strip with PT -symmetric boundary conditions and a localized potential is studied. The case of a virtual level on the threshold of the essential spectrum of an efficient one-dimensional operator is considered. Sufficient conditions for the transformation of this level into an isolated eigenvalue are obtained and the first terms of the asymptotic expansion are calculated for this eigenvalue. Sufficient conditions for the absence of such an eigenvalue are also obtained.  相似文献

Necessary conditions are derived for a black box to be representable as a dynamical system governed by ordinary differential equations. Sufficiency of these conditions depends primarily on the set of inputs. It is shown that the conditions are indeed sufficient for the set of constant inputs and under suitable hypotheses for the set of smooth inputs. In this paper, the analytical conditions for a periodically forced Duffing oscillator synchronized with a chaotic pendulum are developed through the theory of discontinuous dynamical systems. From the analytical conditions, the synchronization invariant domains are developed. For a better understanding of synchronization of two different dynamical systems, the partial and full synchronizations of the Duffing oscillator with the chaotic pendulum are presented for illustrations. The control parameter map is developed from the analytical conditions. Under special parameters, the two systems can be fully and partially synchronized. Since the forced pendulum has librational and rotational chaotic motions, the periodically forced Duffing oscillator can be synchronized only with the librational chaotic motions of the pendulum. It is impossible for the forced Duffing oscillator to be synchronized with the rotational chaotic motions.  相似文献

We propose a stable finite element method for approximating the flow of a chemically reacting gas mixture in an MOCVD (metal‐organic chemical vapor deposition) reactor. The flow is governed by the full compressible Navier‐Stokes equations extended by transport equations for the chemical species, the energy equations and the equation of state, together with boundary conditions providing information on the reactor geometry and experimental conditions. The equations form a semilinear system with a constraint for which the corresponding pressure term is not the Lagrangian multiplier. In this paper, the dynamic behavior of a nonautonomous system with mixed functional response is studied. The population has a history that takes them through two stages, immature and mature. The effects of diffusion on population growth in a polluted patch environment are discussed. Some sufficient conditions on permanence and extinction of population are obtained. Under some appropriate conditions, the asymptotically stability of the periodic solution is obtained. Moreover, a stochastic model is proposed and the conditions for the existence of a global positive solution are discussed.  相似文献

A non-local abstract Cauchy problem with a singular integral is studied, which is a closed system of two evolution equations for a real-valued function and a function-valued function. By proposing an appropriate Banach space, the well-posedness of the evolution system is proved under some boundedness and smoothness conditions on the coefficient functions. Furthermore, an isomorphism is established to extend the result to a partial integro-differential equation with a singular convolution kernel, which is a generalized form of the stationary Wigner equation. Our investigation considerably improves the understanding of the open problem concerning the well-posedness of the stationary Wigner equation with in ow boundary conditions.  相似文献
