Heavy-ion reactions are investigated by statistical methods in the framework of a dinuclear system model (DNS). Synthesis
of superheavy elements in cold and hot fusion reactions on Pb and Bi targets, as well as in incomplete fusion reactions, is
considered. We also take a look at production of neutron-deficient isotopes and pre-scission neutron emission in quasifission
reactions. The results of calculations are compared with the available experimental data. The sensitivity of these results
to the method of calculation of the level density and to various theoretical predictions of nuclear properties is analyzed. 相似文献

We show that by using laser catalysis, we can employ translationally cold (Tr approximately 1.75 K) collisions to produce ultracold (0.01 mKhomega(6Li6Li7Li)*(1(4)A')-->homega6Li6Li+7Li reaction in the collinear approximation. Ultracold 6Li6Li product molecules are shown to be produced at an extraordinary yield of up to 99.97%, using moderate laser intensities of I=100 kW/cm(2)-10 MW/cm2. 相似文献

The d + 6Li system is studied with the resonating-group method in the single-channel approximation. The result shows that, by adjusting only a single parameter in the imaginary potential, the calculation can yield a fit to experimental scattering data which is at least as good as that obtained with the usual optical model. The odd-even characteristic, arising from core-exchange effects, is also examined and found to be rather weak in this system. The reason for this is that the nucleon-number difference of the interacting nuclei is not very small and the blocking effect, resulting from the presence of two nucleons in the non-closed 1p shell of 6Li, is likely to be quite significant. 相似文献

The excitation energy above the breakup threshold of the
Li system, after the interaction of 6Li nuclei with a 208Pb target, was deduced from the invariant mass of the
system. Data were collected with a large-solid-angle detector set-up at four beam energies around the Coulomb barrier. The excitation of the 6Li nucleus above the breakup threshold (1.47 MeV) has a quite similar behavior at each measured beam energy and angle; it is peaked at
MeV above the threshold and shows an exponential decay on the high energy side, which is a clear signature of a direct breakup process. The experimental excitation energies are reproduced both in shape and absolute value by 1) fully quantum-mechanical Coupled-Channel calculations with coupling to discretized-continuum 6Li excitations, 2) semi-classical Coupled-Channel approach, where the relative motion is treated along a classical trajectory.Received: 2 June 2003, Published online: 18 November 2003PACS:

Absolute coincidence cross sections were measured for the reactions 6Li + 6Li → 3α, 6Li(6Li, 2α), and 6Li (6Li, 2d), where the latter two represent final states. Broad peaks from the 6Li (6Li, 2α) reaction are well described by a double spectator pole (DSP) model utilizing a Hulthén wave function, whereas near 40 MeV the DSP peaks are much narrower than predicted. A broad peak in the 3α final-state spectrum, attributed to a single-spectator pole (SSP) process, is well described with the same wave function. The SSP is the principal mechanism for the 3α reaction, in contrast to data near 40 MeV which show that sequential decay from 8Be levels is dominant. 相似文献

The elastic and inelastic scattering of 156 MeV6Li projectiles from6Li is studied experimentally and theoretically. The experimental differential cross sections are analyzed by the method of coupled discretized continuum channels in which resonant and non-resonant break-up states of6Li are taken into account explicitly. The measured cross sections are simultaneously reproduced quite well by the calculations. Coupling effects of the break-up states are found to play an important role for the scattering. 相似文献

A model is developed which combines dynamical (Langevin-) calculations with the Kramers modified statistical model in order to describe heavy-ion induced fission including neutron evaporation. In the example of the19F+181Ta collision, the energy dependence of fission probabilities, neutron multiplicities and (H.I.,xn)-cross sections is calculated and a fair agreement with the data is achieved with a reduced friction parameter ofβ=3*1021sec?1. Large cross-section reaction channels were measured in the systems 6Li( 7Li) + 208Pb with high statistical accuracy at 5(3) energies around the Coulomb barrier from 29 to 39 MeV. These channels were assigned
(mainly) to the breakup of 6Li, very loosely bound, into α + d and to the breakup of 5Li, produced by n-transfer to the target, into α + p and to similar processes with 7Li beam. The cross-sections with 6Li, S
α = 1.475 MeV, are systematically larger than the 7Li ones. This reflects, most likely, the higher binding energy of 7Li, S
α = 2.468 MeV. Theoretical predictions for the 6Li + 208Pb system which include for 6Li breakup to continuum states within a continuum discretized coupled-channels approach (CDCC) and resonant breakup plus n-transfer
with DWBA reproduce the angular distribution shapes but still underestimate the cross-sections by a factor ∼ 3.

Raman bands due to translational modes of 6Li+ and 7Li+ ions in beta-alumina were found in the frequency range of 340–410 cm?1, which is much higher than expected from the corresponding values reported for other alkali-metal ions (20–100 cm?1). We introduce a novel coupling potential for the scattering of deformed light heavy-ion reactions. This new approach is based on replacing the usual first derivative coupling potential by a new, second derivative coupling potential in the coupled-channels formalism. This new approach has been successfully applied to the study of the 12C+12C, 12C+24Mg, 16O+28Si, and 16O+24Mg systems and made major improvements over all the previous coupled-channels calculations for these systems. This paper also shows the limitations of the standard coupled-channels theory and presents a global solution to the problems faced in the previous theoretical accounts of these reactions. 相似文献

The inclusive alpha particle spectra from the breakup of the3He+7Li system atE
3He=42.9 MeV are analyzed in the frame of the nuclear reaction model whose matrix element does not depend on the relative energies of the outgoing particles and is therefore constant.
