理论上研究了射频场作用下多塞曼能级系统中单色激光的吸收抑制现象.一束单色线偏振或者椭圆偏振的激光作用于铷原子两能级间,线或椭圆偏振矢量方向与磁场方向垂直.在磁场中冷铷原子能级发生分裂,通过一个射频场将这些磁子能级耦合起来.当扫描射频场频率时,计算表明原子对单色光的吸收谱中出现了透射峰,类似于电磁诱导透明现象,光吸收减弱,光场透射增强.对于线性偏振或者椭圆偏振的单色光均能得到透射增强的结果.这种现象完全不同于通常光泵磁共振实验中射频场与磁子能级谐振时光被吸收最多的现象.这种扫描射频场频率时单色光的透射增强现象来自于磁子能级间的相干效应.计算表明在扫描射频场频率时单色光吸收谱中出现的透射峰与射频场的拉比频率和椭圆偏振光的左旋和右旋圆偏振成分相关.这种射频场控制的单色光透射增强效应在磁场测量,光信息处理等领域有潜在的应用价值. 相似文献

研究了对相干态(paircoherentstate)与两个二能级原子的相互作用过程中原子和场的动力学特性,并讨论了原子间的偶极相互作用对它们的影响.结果表明:辐射场的压缩以及和压缩(sumsqueezing)的幅度,出现的次数均随原子间的耦合强度的增加而迅速减小.当两个模之间的光子数差增大时,辐射场的压缩以及和压缩的幅度,出现的次数均随之减小,辐射场的两模之间的非经典相关程度减弱,模1的亚泊松分布减弱.在原子的崩溃区域,模2的亚泊松分布增强.增大q将加快原子和双模光场的能量交换.

Rydberg原子具有极大的极化率和微波跃迁偶极矩,对外界电磁场非常敏感,可实现基于Rydberg原子的超宽频带射频电场的高分辨高灵敏测量.通过Rydberg原子的全光学无损的电磁感应透明探测手段,可以实现基于原子的快速免校准宽频带(0.01-1000 GHz)外电场的精密测量.对于频率大于1 GHz的微波场,由微波场耦合相邻Rydberg能级形成的Autler-Townes分裂进行测量;而对于频率小于1 GHz的长波射频场,由Rydberg能级的射频边带能级进行测量.这种方法是基于原子能级参数,可溯源到基本物理常量,不依赖于外界参考;且对电场无干扰,易于实现微型化和集成化,具有广泛的应用前景.本文主要综述了基于Rydberg原子的外电场测量的最新研究进展,重点介绍长波长射频场的测量,包括电场强度、频率以及极化方向的测量,详细介绍了其测量原理和探测灵敏度,并讨论了其应用前景及未来发展方向. 相似文献

The impact of disorder and localisation in electronic conduction was introduced more than half a century ago by Philip Anderson. In a much broader context of disorder-mediated wave dynamics it remains an important research area, and surprises abound. Meanwhile, research in ultracold atomic physics has led to phenomenally detailed elucidation of properties, including changes in phase, of quantum degenerate Bosonic and Fermionic gases. For example, beautiful experiments have recently demonstrated, in quasi one-dimensional systems, Anderson localisation of matter waves. In this brief essay, we describe and discuss research on wave localisation in the context of ultracold atomic physics, with a particular emphasis on light localisation in ultracold and high-density atomic gases. Essential ideas are reviewed, along with the current experimental status of the field, and promising avenues for future research are discussed. 相似文献

The displacement of Rb atoms in a magneto-optical trap (MOT) caused by the force of a finite time series of counter-propagating
frequency modulated light pulse pairs is measured as a function of the chirp of the pulses. The frequency modulated light
pulses induced 85Rb 52S1/2 F=3 ↔ 85Rb 52P3/2 F'=2, 3, 4 excitation and de-excitation of the atoms. The result of this excitation
de-excitation process is a force causing the acceleration and, consequently, the displacement of the maximum of the spatial
distribution of the trap atoms. The time dependence of the populations of the levels of the atom are calculated — including
also the 85Rb 52S1/2 F=2 and F'=1 states — as
the result of the interaction with the finite train of counter propagating frequency modulated light pulses by the solution
of the Bloch equations. As the result of the measurement the interval of the chirp of the frequency modulated light of given
intensity where the transitions take place, are determined. The results of the experiment and the expectation on the basis

In this scheme,two quantum oscillators in a planar radio frequency ion trap are coupled by the trap electrodes.The ions motional states encode the quantum bits (qubits),and a swap gate could be achieved.Under different conditions of the experiments,the intensity of the coupling between two quantum oscillators and the dissipation of the system are calculated.We compute fidelities for a quantum swap gate and discuss experimental issues. 相似文献
