The stabilities (as ΔG0f) of monatomic lanthanide anions in liquid ammonia are estimated from a simple electrostatic model. It is shown that the existence of lanthanide anions in this solvent is highly improbable.  相似文献

The dioxo-uranium(VI)-8-hydroxyquinoline-succinate system has been studied polarographically at constant ionic strength (μ = 0.6 M KCl) in aqueous alcohol (7 : 3) at different temperatures. The reduction of the simple and mixed complexes is reversible and diffusion controlled. The DeFord-Hume and Schaap-McMaster methods have been applied in the determination of composition and stability constants of the simple and mixed complexes respectively. The thermodynamic parameters ΔG, ΔH and ΔS have also been calculated.  相似文献

The kinetics of oxidation of Fe2+ by [Co(C3H2O4)3]3? in acidic solutions at 605 nm showed a simple first-order dependence in each reactant concentration. The second-order rate constant dependence on [H+] is in accordance with eqn (i) k2 = k′2 + k3[H+] (i) where k′2 and k3 have values of 73.4 ± 14.0 M ?1 s?1 and 353 ± 41 M?2 s?1, respectively, at 1.0 M ionic strength (NaClO4) and 25°C. At 310 nm the formation and decomposition of an intermediate, believed to be [FeC3H2O4]+, was observed. The increase in the rate of oxidation with increasing [H+] was interpreted in terms of a “one-ended” dissociation mechanism which facilitates chelation of Fe2+ by the carbonyl oxygens of malonate in the transition state.  相似文献

The preparation of η-C3H5V(CO)5 from allyl chloride and sodium hexacarbonylvanadate (–I) is reported. Composition, IR and NMR spectra are in accordance with a π-bonded C3H5-moiety; the preparation has been extended to give complexes with substituted allyl groups. Furthermore (1-3-η-2-butenyl)pentacarbonylvanadium can be obtained by the addition of butadiene to HV (CO)6.  相似文献

The phase diagram for the binary system K2CrO4CaCrO4 has been determined for CaCrO4 concentrations up to 60 mole%, using the techniques of differential thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction, and drop calorimetry. Essential features of the phase diagram are: the solid-solid phase transition for pure K2CrO4 at 670°C, β-K2CrO4 ? α-K2CrO4; a eutectoid reaction at 14 mole% CaCrO4 and 548°C, β-K2CrO4 ? α-K2CrO4 + K2CrO4 · CaCrO4; a peritectoid event at 50 mole% CaCrO4 and 640°C, β-K2CrO4 + CaCrO4 ? K2CrO4 · CaCrO4; and a eutectic reaction at 51 mole% CaCrO4 and 678°C, L ? β-K2CrO4 + CaCrO4. X-ray diffraction studies lead to the determination of the unit cell dimensions for the K2CrO4 · CaCrO4 double salt, a C-centered monoclinic form with a0 = 7.615(6) Å, b0 = 22.797(15) Å, c0 = 9.777(9) Å, β = 115.45(5)°.  相似文献

Attachment of a Cr(CO)3 moiety to one of the aromatic rings in rigid diaryl ketones of very low prochirality followed by addition of a chiral and optically pure reagent leads to satisfactory asymmetric induction ~40%. Asymmetric induction is smaller in the case of acyclic systems.  相似文献

The number of products and the H2/CH4 ratio obtained from the flow pyrolyses of (CH3)3GeH and (CH3)3SiH were very different. The (CH3)3GeH decomposition is consistent with the following mechanism:
The pyrolysis of (CH3)3SiH was found to be much more complex, presumably due to the formation of silicon-carbon double bonded intermediates and the (CH3)2Si(H)CH2 radical. We also present data which supports the presence of a H atom chain sequence during this pyrolysis.  相似文献

The degradation of acenaphthylene, acenaphthene, 2-methylnaphthalene, 2-methylindene, 3-methylindene and indene in water solutions was studied. These compounds at the 25-150 mug/l. level were almost totally degraded at ambient temperature within three days. The microbial population responsible for the degradation occurs naturally in ground-water taken from an aquifer in Ames, Iowa, which is contaminated with coal-tar products. These unidentified micro-organisms adapt readily to other waters when used as an inoculant for the degradation of aromatic compounds. The preservation of water to prevent such degradation was also investigated. Filtration through a 0.45-mum filter was found the most effective procedure for preserving the hydrocarbons in these waters.  相似文献

The Cr(CO)3(CH3CN)3 complex is found to catalyze the 1,4-addition of hydrogen to 1,3-dienes such as 2-methyl-1,3-butadiene, trans-1,3-pentadiene, and trans, trans-2,4-hexadiene at low temperature (40°) and low H2 pressure (20 psi). For trans, trans-2,4-hexadiene the only product obtained when D2 is used is 2,5-dideuterio-cis-3-hexene. The catalytic 1,4-hydrogenation can be carried out in neat dienes, and turnover numbers for the catalyst of greater than 3000 have been observed.  相似文献

The structure and stereochemistry of the cyclopentenolones obtained by condensation of dialkyl ketones with benzil have been studied by NMR spectroscopy. These enolones were converted into cyclopentenones and cyclopentadienes. Alkyl-substituted cyclopentadienes required phenyllithium to effect their conversion by toluenesulphonyl azide into diazo-cyclopentadienes; otherwise piperidine sufficed as base catalyst.2,3,4-Triphenyldiazocyclopentadiene was simply procured by reaction of the condensation product of benzil and phenylacetone with toluenesulphonylhydrazone followed by alkali. Cyclohexyl- and methoxy-triphenylcyclopentadienes were prepared by photolytic decomposition of diazotriphenylcyclopentadiene in cyclohexane or methanol respectively.  相似文献

The reaction of KCN with Al(CH3)3 to form K[Al(CH3)3CN] is greatly facilitated by the presence of an aromatic solvent: for p-xylene a solid complex, K[Al(CH3)3CN]·C6H4(CH3)2, has been isolated. The crystal structure of potassium cyanotrimethylaluminate has been determined from three-dimensional X-ray data measured by counter methods. K[Al(CH3)3CN] crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with cell dimensions a = 19.902(7), b = 9.211(4), c = 9.615(4) Å, β = 107.74(5)°, and pcalcd. = 1.09 g cm?1 for Z = 8. Least squares refinement gave a conventional weighted R factor of 4.9% for 807 independent reflections. The monomeric [Al(CH3)3CN]? units possess no crystallographic symmetry, and the packing in the unit cell is such that the nitrogen atoms on three such units approach the potassium atom to within 3.11 Å. The average aluminum-methyl carbon bond distance is 1.971 (7) Å, while the aluminum-cyano carbon distance is 2.047 (7) Å. This significant lengthening is attributed to partial electron deficiency in the aluminum-cyano carbon bond.  相似文献

Some cationic five coordinate complexes of formula [Os(CO)(NO)L2A]PF6 (L = tertiary phosphine, A = an acetylene) have been prepared by reaction of the appropriate acetylene with [Os(CO)(NO)L2(acetone)]PF6; the variable temperature 1H NMR spectra of some of these indicate that the coordinated π-acetylene undergoes fluxional behaviour.  相似文献

Twenty-two aromatic amines are determined by the diazotization-coupling spectrophotometric technique, using 8-amino-1-hydroxynaphthalene-3,6-disulphonic acid (H-acid) and N-(1-naphthyl) ethylenediamine (N-na) as coupling agents. The following are determined by both methods: 2-and 4-ethylaniline, 4-aminobenzonitrile, 3- and 4-aminoacetophenone, 4-aminobenzophenone, 4-iodoaniline, 2,5-dichloroaniline, 4-aminohippuric acid, 2-aminobenzyl alcohol, 3-aminobenzamide, sulphathiazole, 2-, 3- and 4-methoxyaniline and 2,4-, 3,4- and 3,5-dimethylaniline. It is possible to determine 2,3- and 2,5-dimethylaniline only by the H-acid method, but 2,6-dimethylaniline cannot be determined by either method. 2-Aminobenzamide can only be determined by the N-na method. In the application of the H-acid method to the methoxyanilines and dimethylanilines, the colour is developed by adding a large excess of sodium bicarbonate and H-acid. In the application of the N-na method to the ethylanilines, methoxyanilines and 2,4-, 3,4- and 3,5-dimethylanilines, the colour is developed by addition of a large excess of N-na reagent and allowing the solution to stand overnight.  相似文献

A general synthesis for the preparation of medium sized cycloalkanes having 1,2-butadienyl substituents is described. The reaction sequence involved acylation of butadiene-iron tricarbonyl with a diacid chloride, reduction of the resultant diketone to a diol derivative and conversion with HBF4 to an acyclic bis-pentadienyl Fe(C0)3 dicationic complex. Upon treatment with zinc the dication undergoes intramolecular ring closure to afford the bis-Fe(C0)3 complex of the 1,2-dibutadienyl cycloalkane. Five-, six- and ten-membered cyclolalkene derivatives have been prepared in this manner.  相似文献

Mössbauer studies are reported for compounds of the type KMIIMIIIF6 (M = first-row transition metal ion, Zn, or Mg) which have the tetragonal bronze structure. The results of this investigation provide evidence that the trivalent ions are located on the 8(j) sites of the bronze structure and that the divalent ions are distributed over both the 8(j) and 2(c) sites.  相似文献

A 19F NMR study of the transmission of electronic effects has been made for the systems Ar2EC6H4F-4 (E = Sb, Bi, CH, N). The fluorine chemical shifts obtained are correlated with the polar constants (Σσo and Σσ) of the substituents, suggesting that electronic effects are transmitted through the SbCar, BiCar and CCar bonds predominantly by an inductive mechanism, whereas the transmission through the NCar bonds is contributed to significantly by classical resonance effects due to competitive conjugation of the lone pair with the aromatic rings, and the substituents therein. A dual parameter correlation of the fluorine chemical shifts with the inductive (σI) and resonance (σoR and σR) parameters of the substituents in the aromatic rings has led to similar conclusions. The inductive transmission through the bridging Sb and Bi atoms has been assigned to the absence of conjugation of lone pair and vacant d-orbitals of the metals with π-electron systems of the aromatic rings. On the basis of the values of the ? coefficients for the correlation equations obtained it has been established that the transmitting ability of the BiCar bonds is close to that of the CalCar bonds and considerably lower than the transmitting ability of the NCar bonds.  相似文献

Oxygen reduction on immersed gold electrodes has been studied in Li2CO3 melt under steady-state conditions and by the potential-sweep method. Reaction order measurements have established that the species being reduced is not molecular oxygen, but the peroxide ion. The latter is in chemical equilibrium with molecular oxygen and oxide ions. The rate-determining step is the primary charge transfer
where (O?) is a transient species. The exchange current densities and activation energies have been determined. Under conditions where O22? diffusion is not limiting (e.g. meniscus electrodes) the rate of neutralization of oxide by CO2 at the electrode surface is probably rate-determining.  相似文献

The magnetic and structural properties of the solid solution SrFexRu1?xO3?y (0 ? x ? 0.5) have been studied using 57Fe and 99Ru Mössbauer spectroscopy and other techniques. These phases, which are here reported for the first time, have a distorted perovskite structure. The iron substitutes exclusively as Fe3+ and thereby causes oxygen deficiency, but has little effect on the magnetic behaviour of the Ru4+ until x > 0.2, whereupon the metallic band system begins to revert to a localized electron structure. The properties of a sample with x = 0.3 are complex and intermediate in character. For x > 0.3 the oxygen deficiency is reduced by substantial oxidation to Ru5+ until at x = 0.5 the system corresponds to Sr2Fe3+Ru5+O6.  相似文献
