In this paper we shall show the heredity of a differentiable one-parameter semigroup under the second quantization and then discuss the resolvent of the differential second quantization operator and the potentials of test white noise functionals. In this work we drive sampling theorems associated with infinite Sturm-Linuville difference problems. Among them, we obtain the analogze, for difference problems, of the result obtained by Zayed for the continuous case on the half-line [O, +∞). Also, we obtain a sampling theorem when the operator associated with the problem has a Hilbert-Schmidt resolvent operator. This paper introduces sampling representations for discrete signals arising from self adjoint difference operators with mixed boundary conditions. The theory of linear operators on finite-dimensional inner product spaces is employed to study the second-order difference operators. We give necessary and sufficient conditions that make the operators self adjoint. The equivalence between the difference operator and a Hermitian Green's matrix is established. Sampling theorems are derived for discrete transforms associated with the difference operator. The results are exhibited via illustrative examples, involving sampling representations for the discrete Hartley transform. Families of discrete fractional Fourier-type transforms are introduced with an application to image encryption.  相似文献

A class of linear operators on tensor products of Hilbert spaces is considered. That class contains integro-differential operators arising in various applications. Estimates for the norm of the resolvent of considered operators are derived. By virtue of the obtained estimates, the spectrum of perturbed operators is investigated. These results are new even in the finite-dimensional case. Applications to integro-differential operators are also discussed. In this paper, we introduce and consider the problem of finding zeroes of difference of two monotone operators in a Hilbert space. Using the resolvent operator technique, we show that this problem is equivalent to the fixed point problem. This equivalence is used to suggest and analyze an iterative method for finding a zero of difference of two monotone operators. We also discuss the convergence of the iterative method under suitable conditions. Our method of proof is very simple as compared with other techniques.  相似文献

Investigating the stability of nonlinear waves often leads to linear or nonlinear eigenvalue problems for differential operators on unbounded domains. In this paper we propose to detect and approximate the point spectra of such operators (and the associated eigenfunctions) via contour integrals of solutions to resolvent equations. The approach is based on Keldysh’ theorem and extends a recent method for matrices depending analytically on the eigenvalue parameter. We show that errors are well-controlled under very general assumptions when the resolvent equations are solved via boundary value problems on finite domains. Two applications are presented: an analytical study of Schrödinger operators on the real line as well as on bounded intervals and a numerical study of the FitzHugh–Nagumo system. We also relate the contour method to the well-known Evans function and show that our approach provides an alternative to evaluating and computing its zeros.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to show that we can extend the notion of convergence in the norm‐resolvent sense to the case of several unbounded noncommuting operators (and to quaternionic operators as a particular case) using the notion of S‐resolvent operator. With this notion, we can define bounded functions of unbounded operators using the S‐functional calculus for n‐tuples of noncommuting operators. The same notion can be extended to the case of the F‐resolvent operator, which is the basis of the F‐functional calculus, a monogenic functional calculus for n‐tuples of commuting operators. The Bessel-type functions, structured as extensions of the classical Bessel functions, were defined by Everitt and Markett in 1994. These special functions are derived by linear combinations and limit processes from the classical orthogonal polynomials, classical Bessel functions and the Krall Jacobi-type and Laguerre-type orthogonal polynomials. These Bessel-type functions are solutions of higher-order linear differential equations, with a regular singularity at the origin and an irregular singularity at the point of infinity of the complex plane.

There is a Bessel-type differential equation for each even-order integer; the equation of order two is the classical Bessel differential equation. These even-order Bessel-type equations are not formal powers of the classical Bessel equation.

When the independent variable of these equations is restricted to the positive real axis of the plane they can be written in the Lagrange symmetric (formally self-adjoint) form of the Glazman–Naimark type, with real coefficients. Embedded in this form of the equation is a spectral parameter; this combination leads to the generation of self-adjoint operators in a weighted Hilbert function space. In the second-order case one of these associated operators has an eigenfunction expansion that leads to the Hankel integral transform.

This article is devoted to a study of the spectral theory of the Bessel-type differential equation of order four; considered on the positive real axis this equation has singularities at both end-points. In the associated Hilbert function space these singular end-points are classified, the minimal and maximal operators are defined and all associated self-adjoint operators are determined, including the Friedrichs self-adjoint operator. The spectral properties of these self-adjoint operators are given in explicit form.

From the properties of the domain of the maximal operator, in the associated Hilbert function space, it is possible to obtain a virial theorem for the fourth-order Bessel-type differential equation.

There are two solutions of this fourth-order equation that can be expressed in terms of classical Bessel functions of order zero and order one. However it appears that additional, independent solutions essentially involve new special functions not yet defined. The spectral properties of the self-adjoint operators suggest that there is an eigenfunction expansion similar to the Hankel transform, but details await a further study of the solutions of the differential equation.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to give a deterministic characterization of the uniform observability property of linear differential equations with multiplicative white noise in infinite dimensions. We also investigate the properties of a class of perturbed evolution operators and we used these properties to give a new representation of the covariance operators associated to the mild solutions of the investigated stochastic differential equations. The obtained results play an important role in obtaining necessary and sufficient conditions for the stochastic uniform observability property.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is the study of a new sequence of positive linear approximation operators Mnλ on C([0, 1]) which generalize the classical Bernstein–Durrmeyer operators. After proving a Voronovskaja-type result, we show that there exists a strongly continuous positive contraction semigroup on C([0, 1]) which may be expressed in terms of powers of these operators. As a direct consequence, we are able to represent explicitly the solutions of the Cauchy problems associated with a particular class of second order differential operators.  相似文献
