Quantum entanglement dynamics for two atoms trapped in two coupled cavities is investigated.Numerical results show that the present of the two atomic excitations is mainly accounted for the entanglement-sudden-death(ESD) effect with the two cavities initially in the vacuum.The entanglement can also be controlled by the hopping rate and the imbalances between the two atom-cavity coupling rates.  相似文献

A scheme is proposed for generating NOON states for two atomic samples trapped in two distant cavities connected by a third cavity and optical fibers. In the scheme, all the atoms are always populated in the two degenerate ground states, so the atoms’ spontaneous emission can be omitted approximately. During the operation neither the cavity modes nor fiber modes are excited, which is important in view of decoherence. The scheme does not include projective measurement and the NOON state is generated deterministically.  相似文献

Two time arrows for scattering processes have been proposed in rigged Hilbert space quantum mechanics. One, due to Arno Bohm, involves preparations and registrations in laboratory operations and results in two semigroups oriented in the forward direction of time. The other, employed by the Brussels-Austin group, is more general, involving excitations and de-excitations of systems, and apparently results in two semigroups oriented in opposite directions of time. A standard model is suggested to explore correlation features of two spatially separated optomechanical cavities. The cavities are coupled through the photon-hopping process. In particular, we investigate the generation of entanglement between mechanical resonators in the strong coupling regime and the two cavities are assumed to be driven by a coherent laser field. In order to quantify entanglement we use the logarithmic negativity. The analytical solutions are presented for the system in a parameter regime very close to the current experimental results. We show that in the presence of the photon hopping process between the cavities, the two mechanical resonators and the field modes can be entangled. This shows clearly that the entanglement can be transfer via radiation pressure of a photon hopping coupling from the intracavity photon-phonon entanglements to an inter-cavity photon-photon or phonon-phonon entanglement.  相似文献

We estimate the quantum state of two qubits and a two-mode field obeying the Gaussian distribution and give the two Gaussian modes and the density matrix in explicit forms. We study the dynamic properties of the Mandel parameter as a quantifier of the statistical properties for the radiation field during the process of its time evolution. We investigate the nonlocal correlation between the two atoms as well as their entanglement with the field distribution. In addition, we obtain the Fisher information based on the estimation of the atomic state and compare it with the Mandel parameter. Finally, we explore the link between the statistical quantities of the field for different parameters of the two Gaussian modes.  相似文献

Superposition of photon subtraction two times and photon addition two times excited two modes squeezing vacuum state (SPSAESVT) is introduced, which is generated by operation of superposition of annihilation operator and creation operator on two modes squeezed vacuum state. Non-classical properties of SPSAESVT, such as squeezing effect, anti-bunching effect, the violation of Cauchy-Schwartze inequality and the entanglement property between two modes, are investigated. Using numerical methods, the influences of the superposition coefficient of operators and that of squeezing parameter on its non-classical properties are discussed. The results show that SPSAESVT does not display antibunching effect, but it displays squeezing effect, and there are the violation of Cauchy-Schwartze inequality and the entanglement between two modes. Further, its squeezing effect is not affected by the superposition coefficient of the operators, but there is a nonlinear relationship both between the violation of Cauchy-Schwartze inequality and the superposition coefficient, and between the entanglement property and the superposition coefficient. As squeezing parameter increases, its squeezing effect and entanglement property are strengthened, but the violation of Cauchy-Schwartze inequality is weakened.  相似文献

A scheme is presented for generation of entangled states for two atoms trapped in two distant bad cavities. The scheme can work with bad cavities with the coupling strength smaller than the cavity decay rate, which is important from the viewpoint of experiment. In the scheme the atoms have no probability of being populated in the excited state and thus the atomic spontaneous emission is suppressed, which increases the probability of success. The fidelity of the entangled state is not affected by the detection eflciency. Furthermore, the scheme does not require the detection of the left-polarized photon and right-polarized photon at the same time.  相似文献

The dynamics of the quantum correlation between two atoms in two single-mode cavities is studied. For the initial Bell state |Ψ +〉, the quantum consonance is equal to the entanglement, and larger than quantum discord. For the initial Bell state |Φ +〉, the quantum consonance is larger than entanglement, but not larger than quantum discord all the time. As the increase of the cavity-cavity coupling strength, the evolution period of quantum correlation becomes smaller. Consonance is not smooth at some points while cavities are coupled with each other.  相似文献

We produce a quantum degenerate mixture composed by two Bose-Einstein condensates of different atomic species, 41K and 87Rb. Exact solutions are obtained for the collective model of two identical two level atoms interacting with a quantized bimodal-field in a lossless cavity. A unitary transformation method is used to solve the time-dependent problem, that also gives the eigensolutions of the interacting Hamiltonian. In particular, we study the atomic population dynamics and the dynamics of the photon statistics in the two cavity modes. We present evidence of co-operative effects.  相似文献

In this paper, an electric system with two dichotomous resistors is investigated. It is shown that this system can display two stochastic resonances, which are the amplitude of the periodic response as the functions of the two dichotomous resistors strengthes respectively. In the limits of Gaussian white noise and shot white noise (i.e., the two noises are both Gaussian white noise or shot white noise), no phenomena of resonance appear. By further study, we find that when the system is with three or more multiplicative telegraphic noises, there are three or more stochastic resonances.  相似文献

We connect two different extensions of Boltzmann's kinetic theory by requiring the same stationary solution. Non-extensive statistics can be produced by either using corresponding collision rates nonlinear in the one-particle densities or equivalently by using nontrivial energy composition rules in the energy conservation constraint part. We consider two two-level atoms, interacting with two independent dissipative cavities, each of which is driven by an external source. The two cavity fields are both initially prepared in the coherent states, and the two two-level atoms are initiallyprepared in the singlet state |Ψ-1 >=(|eg>-|ge>)/2-1/2. We investigate the influence of the damping constant κ, the intensity of the external sources F,and the relative difference of the atomic couplings r on the entanglement between the two atoms. In the dispersive approximation, we find that the entanglement between the two atoms decreases with the time evolution, and the decreasing rate of entanglement depends on the values of F/κ, κ/ω, and r. For the givensmall values of F/κ and κ/ω, on the one hand, the increasing of r favors entanglement decreasing of the atomic system, on the other hand, when r→1 the entanglement decreasing becomes slower. With the increasing of the value ofκ/ω, the influence of r on the decreasing rate of entanglement becomes smaller, and gradually disappears for the big value of κ/ω.  相似文献

In this paper,we focus on the construction of new(1+1)-dimensional discrete integrable systems according to a subalgebra of loop algebra A 1.By designing two new(1+1)-dimensional discrete spectral problems,two new discrete integrable systems are obtained,namely,a 2-field lattice hierarchy and a 3-field lattice hierarchy.When deriving the two new discrete integrable systems,we find the generalized relativistic Toda lattice hierarchy and the generalized modified Toda lattice hierarchy.Moreover,we also obtain the Hamiltonian structures of the two lattice hierarchies by means of the discrete trace identity.  相似文献
