In this work, a full ligand-field energy matrix (10×10) diagonalization treatment for 3d1 ions in tetragonal symmetry is developed on the basis of the two-s.o.-coupling-parameter model. Spin Hamiltonian parameters (g factors g, g and hyperfine structure constants A, A) of the tetragonal V4+ center in Zn(antipyrine)2(NO3)2 are calculated from the complete energy matrix diagonalization method and the perturbation theory method. The calculated results from both methods are not only close to each other but also in good agreement with the experimental values. Furthermore, the compressed defect structure of V4+ center is discussed.  相似文献

Compared to experiment, the adsorption energies, bonding properties, and electronic structure of two different Al2O3/B4C bridge sites with seven different Al2O3 surfaces are investigated by ab initio periodic density functional theory. The Al2O3/B4C ceramic sintered in Ar is synthesized and measured by XRD and TEM. The calculated results reveal that the densification of O_bridge site of Al2O3/B4C surface is better than that of Al_bridge. The Al2O3 (1 1 3)/B4C with O_bridge is the most favorable and stable. The electronic structure shows that the electron hybridization exists between Al, O atoms and C, B atoms. The results indicate that the calculated results are in good agreement with the experiment.  相似文献

采用坩埚下降法生长了Yb: CaF2-SrF2晶体,测试了该晶体的吸收和荧光光谱 以及在不同温度下晶体的热扩散系数和热膨胀系数,并且计算了晶体的热膨胀系数以及在常温下的热导率. 采用对比的方法,对晶体的吸收光谱,荧光光谱,热学性能进行了分析.从吸收和荧光光谱结果表明: 在掺杂相对较高浓度的SrF2的混晶中, Yb3+吸收截面和发射截面比较大. Yb: CaF2-SrF2 (19%)晶体在1040 nm附近的发射截面比较大,光谱也比较宽. 这说明在掺杂相同浓度Yb时,混晶中CaF2, SrF2的比例不同,晶体的光谱性质不同, 主要原因是在混晶中晶体的无序度不同,晶体对称性降低,形成低对称光学中心. 从热扩散系数计算的热导率结果看出晶体具有比较好的热导率.  相似文献

The EPR g factors g// and g for Ti3+ ions at the trigonal octahedral Li+ sites of LiNbO3 and LiTaO3 crystals are calculated from the third-order perturbation formulas of g factors for 3d1 ion in trigonal symmetry. In the calculations, the crystal-field parameters are obtained from the structural data by using the superposition model. The calculated values are in reasonable agreement with the observed values. 应用晶体场理论和不可约张量算符方法构造了3d2/3d8态离子在C3v对称晶场中包含自旋-轨道相互作用、自旋-自旋相互作用、自旋-其它轨道相互作用和其它轨道-其它轨道相互作用四种微观磁效应的45阶可完全对角化的能量哈密顿矩阵.利用该矩阵,计算了V3+∶α-Al2O3和Ni2+∶α-Al2O3晶体的光谱精细结构、晶体局域结构和零场分裂参量,研究了掺入两种互补态离子Ni2+和V3+对同种晶体的光谱精细结构、晶体局域结构和零场分裂参量的影响,理论计算值和实验值相符.研究发现:掺杂没有改变晶体的光谱精细结构和能级分裂条数,但改变了能级间距|掺杂也没有改变晶体的对称性,但使晶体局域结构发生了一定程度的畸变| Ni2+∶α-Al2O3晶体局域结构的伸长畸变量大于V3+∶α-Al2O3晶体,键角的变化量小于V3+∶α-Al2O3晶体.  相似文献

采用基于密度泛函理论(DFT)的第一性原理赝势平面波方法, 通过自旋极化的广义梯度近似(GGA)电子结构计算对梯形化合物NaV2O4F进行了研究. 考虑了四种假想的自旋有序态,计算结果表明该化合物的磁基态具有二维反铁磁(AFM)结构, 即沿梯阶和梯腿方向都表现为AFM作用. 能带结构显示NaV2O4F为绝缘体材料, 带隙约为1.0eV. 方锥体中的晶体场劈裂使得VO4F方锥体中的 V4+ 关键词: 2O4F')" href="#">NaV2O4F 梯形化合物 第一性原理计算 电子结构  相似文献

We report the synthesis of three new Yb-based compounds, Yb8Ag18.5Al47.5 (Yb8Cu17Al49-type, tetragonal tI74–I4/mmm), Yb2Pd2Cd (Mo2B2Fe-type, tetragonal tP10-P4/mbm) and Yb1.35Pd2Cd0.65 (MnCu2Al-type, cubic cF16–Fm3¯m). The crystal symmetry of these compounds has been determined and the complete structural characterisation carried out by single crystal and powder diffraction techniques. Two symmetry in-equivalent sites are available for the Yb ions in Yb8Ag18.5Al47.5 and Yb1.35Pd2Cd0.65. The 4f levels of the Yb ions are appreciably hybridised in Yb8Ag18.5Al47.5 and to a lesser extent in Yb2Pd2Cd as inferred from the magnetisation and heat capacity data. Signatures of heavy fermion behaviour are observed in the heat capacity data of Yb2Pd2Cd in which the heat capacity, C/T, increases at low temperatures attaining a value of ≈600 mJ/mol K2 at 1.8 K. The electrical resistivity of Yb2Pd2Cd follows a linear variation with temperature, T, between 1.4 and 5 K, thus indicating a possible non-Fermi liquid behaviour. In contrast, Yb ions are trivalent in Yb1.35Pd2Cd0.65 and order magnetically near 1.4 K.  相似文献

A comparative study of electronic structure and magnetic properties of SrCrO3 and SrMoO3 has been carried out using FPLAPW method with density-functional theory. The calculated results suggest that both compounds are nonmagnetic (NM) metal in cubic structures at room temperature, and they exhibit very similar band structure and electronic properties except more extend Mo 4d orbitals than Cr 3d electronic states. However, the electronic structure and magnetic properties exhibit remarkable differences between them in the low temperature phases. SrCrO3 is with a C-AFM ground state with magnetic moment of 1.18μB/Cr in the tetragonal structure, while SrMoO3 is with a NM ground state in the orthorhombic structure. It is assumed that the extend 4d orbitals may be the reason which results in NM solution at low temperature phase of SrMoO3.  相似文献

In this work, the complete matrix of optical spectral levels in trigonal symmetry of 3d2 (3d8) ions are established on basis of strong field coupling mechanism by using two spin–orbit coupling parameters model. The contribution of the spin–orbit coupling of ligand to the optical spectra has been included in these formulas. As an application, the optical spectra of Cr4+ in Y2Ti2O7 and Y2Sn2O7 have been studied by the complete diagonalization (energy matrix) method. The covalent effect has been studied and the difficulty about Dq parameter in explanation of optical spectra of Cr-doped Y2Ti2O7 and Y2Sn2O7 is removed. Alkaline hexafluorostantanate red phosphors Na2SnF6:Mn4+ and Cs2SnF6:Mn4+ are synthesized by chemical reaction in HF/NaMnO4 (CsMnO4)/H2O2/H2O mixed solutions immersed with tin metal. X-ray diffraction patterns suggest that the synthesized phosphors have a tetragonal symmetry with the space group D4h14 (Na2SnF6:Mn4+) and a trigonal symmetry with the space group D3d3 (Cs2SnF6:Mn4+). Photoluminescence (PL) analysis, PL excitation (PLE) spectroscopy, and the Raman scattering techniques are used to investigate the optical properties of the phosphors. The Franck-Condon analysis of the PLE data yields the Mn4+-related optical transitions to occur at ∼2.39 and ∼2.38 eV (4A2g4T2g) and at ∼2.83 and ∼2.76 eV (4A2g4T1g) for Na2SnF6:Mn4+ and Cs2SnF6:Mn4+, respectively. The crystal field parameters (Dq) of the Mn4+ ions in the Na2SnF6 and Cs2SnF6 hosts are determined to be ∼1930 and ∼1920 cm−1, respectively. Temperature-dependent PL measurements are performed from 20 to 440 K in steps of 10 K, and the obtained results are interpreted by taking into account the Bose-Einstein occupation factor. Comprehensive discussion is given on the phosphorescent properties of a family of Mn4+-activated alkaline hexafluoride salts.  相似文献

The polycrystalline sample of Ba(Pr1/2Ta1/2)O3 was prepared by a high-temperature solid-state reaction technique. The crystal symmetry, space group and unit cell dimensions were derived from the experimental results using FullProf software. XRD analysis of the compound indicated the formation of a single-phase tetragonal structure with the space group P4/mmm (1 2 3). Impedance and electric modulus analysis were used as tools to analyze the electrical behavior of the sample as a function of frequency at different temperatures. The impedance analysis of the compound indicated a typical negative temperature coefficient of resistance behavior, and dielectric relaxation was found to be of non-Debye type. The frequency dependent maximum of the imaginary part of the electric modulus follows the Arrhenius law with activation energy of 0.15 eV. The ac conductivity data obeys double power law.  相似文献

运用二次组态相关(QCISD)方法,分别选用6-311++G(3df,3pd)和D95(3df,3pd)基组,对BH2和AlH2分子的结构进行了优化计算,得到BH2分子的稳态结构为C2v构型,电子态为2A1、平衡核间距RBH=0.1187nm、键角∠HBH=128.791°、离解能De=3.65eV、基态振动频率ν1(a1)=1020.103cm-12(a1)=2598.144cm-13(b2)=2759.304cm-1.AlH2分子的稳态结构也为C2v构型,电子态为2A1、平衡核间距RAlH=0.1592nm、键角∠HAlH=118.095°、离解能De=2.27eV、基态振动频率ν1(a1)=780.81cm-12(a1)=1880.81cm-1,ν3(b2)=1910.46cm-1.采用多体项展式理论推导了基态BH2和AlH2分子的解析势能函数,其等值势能图准确再现了BH2和AlH2分子的结构特征及其势阱深度与位置.分析讨论势能面的静态特征时得到BH+H→BH2反应中存在鞍点,活化能为150.204kJ/mol;AlH+H→AlH2反应中也存在鞍点,活化能为54.8064kJ/mol. 关键词: 2')" href="#">BH2 2')" href="#">AlH2 Murrell-Sorbie函数 多体项展式理论 解析势能函数  相似文献

The Yb3+ doped Ba2YB'O6 (B'=Ta5+, Nb5+) were prepared by high temperature solid-state reaction method, their structures were determined by x-ray diffraction and refined by Rietveld method. The diffuse reflection absorption, excitation and emission spectra of Yb3+:Ba2YB'O6 (B'=,Ta5+, Nb5+) were measured at room temperature. Under the excitation of ultraviolet light, these phosphors exhibit broad charge transfer band emissions of TaO6 or NbO6 centre with large Stokes shift. The Yb3+ doped into these hosts are situated at Y3+ sites of cubic symmetry (Oh). The experimental energy levels of Yb3+ in Ba2YTaO6 and Ba2YNbO6 were determined by photoluminescence and diffuse reflection absorption spectra. Their wavefunctions and theoretical energy levels were obtained by diagonalising the Hamiltonian matrix. The experimental energy levels were fitted by Levenberg--Marquardt iteration algorithm to determine crystal field parameters. Then, the magnetic-pole transition line strengths of Yb3+:Ba2YB'O6(B'=Ta5+, Nb5+) from (2F5/28- to the low-energy states were calculated.  相似文献

The first-principles calculations are performed to investigate the mechanical properties and electronic structure of TiC, Ti0.75W0.25C, Ti0.75W0.25C0.75N0.25, TiC0.75N0.25 and TiN. Density functional theory and ultrasoft pseudopotentials are used in this study. From the formation energy, it is found that nitrogen can increase the stability of TiC. The calculated elastic constants and elastic moduli of TiC compare favorably with other theoretical and experimental values. Tungsten and nitrogen are observed to significantly increase the bulk, shear and Young's modulus of TiC. Through the analysis of B/G and Cauchy pressure, tungsten can significantly improve the ductility of TiC. The electronic structure of TiC, TiN, Ti0.75W0.25C, Ti0.75W0.25C0.75N0.25, and TiC0.75N0.25 are used to describe nonmetal–metal and metal–metal bonds. Based on the Mulliken overlap population analysis, the hardness values of TiC, Ti0.75W0.25C, Ti0.75W0.25C0.75N0.25, TiC0.75N0.25 and TiN are estimated.  相似文献

The co-doping of Li+ and Al3+ ions drastically enhances the luminescence of cubic Eu2O3. The integrated emission intensity of 5D07FJ bands (J=1-4) at 580-710 nm increases by a factor of about 6.7 in the co-doped Eu2O3 compared to the un-doped Eu2O3. In order to confirm that the co-doped ions were actually incorporated into the host lattice, the structural characteristics were studied using Raman spectroscopy, XPS, XRD, photoluminescence lifetime, and an SEM. These analyses consistently indicate a certain structural evolution in their results with an increase in the co-doping concentration. Variations in the crystal structure, the crystal morphology, and the intensity variation of the Raman modes at 465 and 483 cm−1 are presented as the evidences showing the incorporation of the co-doped ions into the host. The luminescence enhancement is discussed in terms of concentration quenching, reduction of defect sites, and the modification of the local symmetry of the Eu3+ ions, especially in the inversion symmetry sites.  相似文献

In this paper, the equilibrium geometry, harmonic frequency and dissociation energy of S2^- and S3^- have been calculated at QCISD/6-311++G(3d2f) and B3P86/6-311++G(3d2f) level. The S2^- ground state is of 2IIg, the S3^- ground state is of 2B1 and S3^- has a bent (C2v) structure with an angle of 115.65° The results are in good agreement with these reported in other literature. For S3^- ion, the vibration frequencies and the force constants have also been calculated. Base on the general principles of microscopic reversibility, the dissociation limits has been deduced. The Murrell-Sorbie potential energy function for S2^- has been derived according to the ab initio data through the least- squares fitting. The force constants and spectroscopic data for S2^- have been calculated, then compared with other theoretical data. The analytical potential energy function of S3^- have been obtained based on the many-body expansion theory. The structure and energy can correctly reappear on the potential surface.  相似文献

A theoretical study on Sb-doped SnO2 has been carried out by means of periodic density functional theory (DFT) at generalized gradient approximation (GGA) level. Stability and conductivity analyses were performed based on the formation energy and electronic structures. The results show that Sn0.5Sb0.5O2 solid solution is stable because the formation energy of Sn0.5Sb0.5O2 is −0.06 eV. The calculated energy band structure and density of states showed that the band gap of SnO2 narrowed due to the presence of the Sb impurity energy levels in the bottom of the conduction band, namely there is Sb 5s distribution of electronic states from the Fermi level to the bottom of conduction band after the doping of antimony. The studies provide a theoretical basis to the development and application of Sn1−xSbxO2 solid solution electrode.  相似文献

Y2O3:Eu3+ nanocrystals were prepared by combustion synthesis. The particle size estimated by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) was about 10 nm. A blue-shift of the charge-transfer (CT) band in excitation spectra was observed in Y2O3:Eu3+ nanocrystals compared with bulk Y2O3:Eu3+. The electronic structure of Y2O3 is calculated by density functional method and exchange and correlation have been treated by the generalized gradient approximation (GGA) within the scheme due to Perdew-Burke-Ernzerhof (PBE). The calculated results show that the energy centroid of 5d orbital in nanocrystal has increasing trend compared with that in the bulk material. The bond length and bond covalency are calculated by chemical bond theory. The bond lengths of Y2O3:Eu3+ nanocrystal are shorter than those of the bulk counterpart and the bond covalency of Y2O3:Eu3+ nanocrystal also has an increasing trend. By combining centroid shift and crystal-field splitting, the blue-shift of the CT band is interpreted.  相似文献
