The kinetics of oxidation of [CrIII(Dpc)(Asp)(H2O)2] (Dpc = dipicolinic acid and Asp = DL ‐aspartic acid) by N‐bromosuccinimide (NBS) in aqueous solution have been found to obey the equation: where k2 is the rate constant for the electron transfer process, K1 is the equilibrium constant for deprotonation of [CrIII(Dpc)(Asp)(H2O)2], K2 and K3 are the pre‐equilibrium formation constants of precursor complexes [CrIII(Dpc)(Asp)(H2O)(NBS)] and [CrIII(Dpc)(Asp)(H2O)(OH)(NBS)]?. Values of k2 = 4.85 × 10?2 s?1, K1 = 1.85 × 10?7 mol dm?3, and K2 = 78.2 mol?1 dm3 have been obtained at 30°C and I = 0.1 mol dm?3. The experimental rate law is consistent with a mechanism in which the deprotonated [CrIII(Dpc)(Asp)(H2O)(OH)]? is considered to be the most reactive species compared to its conjugate acid. It is assumed that electron transfer takes place via an inner‐sphere mechanism. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J Chem Kinet 36: 394–400, 2004  相似文献

The dynamic behavior of the N,N,N′,N′‐tetramethylethylenediamine (tmeda) ligand has been studied in solid lithium‐fluorenide(tmeda) ( 3 ) and lithium‐benzo[b]fluorenide(tmeda) ( 4 ) using CP/MAS solid‐state 13C‐ and 15N‐NMR spectroscopy. It is shown that, in the ground state, the tmeda ligand is oriented parallel to the long molecular axis of the fluorenide and benzo[b]fluorenide systems. At low temperature (<250 K), the 13C‐NMR spectrum exhibits two MeN signals. A dynamic process, assigned to a 180° rotation of the five‐membered metallacycle (π‐flip), leads at elevated temperatures to coalescence of these signals. Line‐shape calculations yield ΔH?=42.7 kJ mol?1, ΔS?=?5.3 J mol?1 K?1, and =44.3 kJ mol?1 for 3 , and ΔH?=36.8 kJ mol?1, ΔS?=?17.7 J mol?1 K?1, and =42.1 kJ mol?1 for 4 , respectively. A second dynamic process, assigned to ring inversion of the tmeda ligand, was detected from the temperature dependence of T1ρ, the 13C spin‐lattice relaxation time in the rotating frame, and led to ΔH?=24.8 kJ mol?1, ΔS?=?49.2 J mol?1 K?1, and =39.5 kJ mol?1 for 3 , and ΔH?=18.2 kJ mol?1, ΔS?=?65.3 J mol?1 K?1, and =37.7 kJ mol?1 for 4 , respectively. For (D12)‐ 3 , the rotation of the CD3 groups has also been studied, and a barrier Ea of 14.1 kJ mol?1 was found.  相似文献

The title compound, aquachloro{2,2′‐[1,2‐ethanediylbis(nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenolato‐κ4O,N,N′,O′}manganese(III),[MnCl(C16H14N2O2)(H2O)], is a neutral manganese(III) complex with a pseudo‐octahedral metal centre. The equatorial plane comprises the four donor atoms of the tetradentate Schiff base ligand [Mn—O 1.886 (4) and 1.893 (4) Å, and Mn—N 1.978 (5) and 1.982 (5) Å], with a water molecule [Mn—O 2.383 (4) Å] and a Cl? ligand [Mn—Cl 2.4680 (16) Å] completing the coordination sphere. The distorted geometry is highlighted by the marked displacement of the MnIII ion out of the least‐squares plane of the four Schiff base donor atoms by 0.165 (2) Å. These monomeric MnIII centres are then linked into a polymeric array via hydrogen bonds between the coordinated water molecule and the phenolic O‐atom donors of an adjacent MnIII centre [O—H?O 2.789 (5) and 2.881 (5) Å].  相似文献

A multinuclear NMR study on [Ln(ttha)]3? and [Ln{ttha(NHR)2}]? complexes (R=Et, CH2(CHOH)4CH2OH) shows that coordinating groups of the organic ligands in these complexes are occupying all coordination sites of the metal ions, leaving no space for coordination of H2O molecules (H6ttha=triethylenetetramine‐N,N,N′,N″,N′′′,N′′′‐hexaacetic acid). The lanthanides of the first half of the series bind the ttha‐type ligands in a decadentate fashion, while the complexes formed with the smaller ions of the second half of the lanthanide series are nonadentate. One carboxylate group of the ligand remains unbound in the latter complexes. In principle, the ttha complexes can exist in six enantiomeric forms. Only one of the pair of diastereoisomers can interconvert without decoordination of the ligand. This pair of isomers seems to be predominant in solution. For the [Ln{ttha(NHR)2}]? complexes, the number of chiral centers is larger, resulting in 32 possible enantiomeric forms of the complexes. The NMR spectra of [Nd{ttha(NHEt)2}]? indicate that two dynamic processes occur between the isomers in solution. The NMRD curves of [Gd(ttha)]3?, [Gd{ttha(NHEt)2}]?, and [Gd{ttha(NHgluca)2}]? (NHgluca=D ‐glucamine) show significant differences with the previously determined outer‐sphere contributions to the NMRD profiles of the corresponding [Gd{dtpa(NHR)2}]? complexes, which can be ascribed to differences in the parameters determining the electronic relaxation.  相似文献

Crystals of the title compound, [Cr(C4H5NO4)(C6H6N4S2)(H2O)]Cl·H2O, consist of CrIII complex cations, Cl counter‐ions and lattice water molecules. The complex cation assumes an octahedral coordination geometry, formed by a tridentate iminodiacetate dianion (IDA), a diaminobithiazole (DABT) molecule and a water molecule. The planar DABT group chelates the CrIII ion with normal Cr—N distances [2.0574 (17) and 2.0598 (17) Å], but the DABT molecule is inclined to the coordination plane by a dihedral angle of 17.23 (7)°. In the monodentate carboxylate groups of the IDA ion, the coordinated C—O bonds [1.288 (3) and 1.284 (3) Å] are much longer than the uncoordinated C—O bonds [1.222 (3) and 1.225 (3) Å].  相似文献

Eu3+, Dy3+, and Yb3+ complexes of the dota‐derived tetramide N,N′,N″,N′′′‐[1,4,7,10‐tetraazacyclododecane‐1,4,7,10‐tetrayltetrakis(1‐oxoethane‐2,1‐diyl)]tetrakis[glycine] (H4dotagl) are potential CEST contrast agents in MRI. In the [Ln(dotagl)] complexes, the Ln3+ ion is in the cage formed by the four ring N‐atoms and the amide O‐atom donor atoms, and a H2O molecule occupies the ninth coordination site. The stability constants of the [Ln(dotagl)] complexes are ca. 10 orders of magnitude lower than those of the [Ln(dota)] analogues (H4dota=1,4,7,10‐tetraazacyclododecane‐1,4,7,10‐tetraacetic acid). The free carboxylate groups in [Ln(dotagl)] are protonated in the pH range 1–5, resulting in mono‐, di‐, tri‐, and tetraprotonated species. Complexes with divalent metals (Mg2+, Ca2+, and Cu2+) are also of relatively low stability. At pH>8, Cu2+ forms a hydroxo complex; however, the amide H‐atom(s) does not dissociate due to the absence of anchor N‐atom(s), which is the result of the rigid structure of the ring. The relaxivities of [Gd(dotagl)] decrease from 10 to 25°, then increase between 30–50°. This unusual trend is interpreted with the low H2O‐exchange rate. The [Ln(dotagl)] complexes form slowly, via the equilibrium formation of a monoprotonated intermediate, which deprotonates and rearranges to the product in a slow, OH?‐catalyzed reaction. The formation rates are lower than those for the corresponding Ln(dota) complexes. The dissociation rate of [Eu(dotagl)] is directly proportional to [H+] (0.1–1.0M HClO4); the proton‐assisted dissociation rate is lower for [Eu(H4dotagl)] (k1=8.1?10?6 M ?1 s?1) than for [Eu(dota)] (k1=1.4?10?5 M ?1 s?1).  相似文献

In the title compound, [CrBr2(C5H14N2)2]2Br2·HClO4·6H2O, there are two independent CrIII complex cations which are conformational isomers of each other. The Cr atoms lie respectively on a center of symmetry and on a mirror plane and have octahedral environments, coordinated by the N atoms of two 2,2‐dimethylpropane‐1,3‐diamine ligands and by two Br atoms in trans positions. The Cr—N and Cr—Br bond lengths are in the ranges 2.078 (3)–2.089 (3) and 2.4495 (9)–2.5017 (9) Å, respectively. The crystal structure consists of two CrIII complex cations, two Br? anions, a (ClO4)? anion and an [H13O6]+ hydrogen‐bonded cluster cation.  相似文献

Two nickel(II) complexes of vitamin B13 (H3Or) with N,N,N′,N′‐tetramethylethylenediamine (tmen) and 2,2‐dimethylpropane‐1,3‐diamine (dmpen) were synthesized and characterized by means of elemental and thermal analyses, magnetic susceptibility, and IR and UV/Vis spectroscopic studies. The crystal structures of mer‐[Ni(HOr)(H2O)2(tmen)] · H2O ( 1 ) and [Ni(HOr)(dmpen)2] ( 2 ) were determined by using single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. In the complexes, which crystallize in the triclinic system (space group for 1 ) and the monoclinic system (space group P21/c for 2 ), the NiII ions exhibit a distorted octahedral coordination. NiII ions are chelated by the deprotonated nitrogen atom of the pyrimidine ring and the oxygen atom of the carboxylate group, the distorted octahedral coordination completed by one tmen and two aqua ligands for 1 or two dmpen ligands for 2 .  相似文献

The novel title hybrid isomorphous organic–inorganic mixed‐metal dichromates, [Ni(Cr2O7)(C10H8N2)2] and [Cu(Cr2O7)(C10H8N2)2], have been synthesized. A non‐centrosymmetric three‐dimensional (4,6)‐net is formed from a linear chain of vertex‐linked [Cr2O]2− and [MN4O]2+ (M = Ni and Cu) units, which in turn are linked by the planar bidentate 4,4′‐bipyridine ligand through the four remaining vertices of the [MN4O]2+ octahedra. There are two such three‐dimensional nets that interpenetrate with inversion symmetry.  相似文献

In the crystal structure of the title compound, [N,N′‐bis(3‐aminopropyl)ethylenediamine‐κ4N,N′,N′′,N′′′][1,3,5‐triazine‐2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)‐trithionato(2−)‐κ2N,S]zinc(II) ethanol solvate, [Zn(C8H22N4)2(C3HN3S3)]·C2H6O, the ZnII atom is octahedrally coordinated by four N atoms [Zn—N = 2.104 (2)–2.203 (2) Å] of a tetradentate N‐donor N,N′‐bis(3‐aminopropyl)ethylenediamine (bapen) ligand and by two S and N atoms [Zn—S = 2.5700 (7) Å and Zn—N = 2.313 (2) Å] of a trithiocyanurate(2−) (ttcH2−) dianion bonded as a bidentate ligand in a cis configuration. The crystal structure of the compound is stabilized by a network of hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The kinetics of oxidation of cis‐[CrIII(phen)2(H2O)2]3+ (phen = 1,10‐phenanthro‐ line) by IO4? has been studied in aqueous acidic solutions. In the presence of a vast excess of [IO4?], the reaction is first order in the chromium(III) complex concentration. The pseudo‐first‐order rate constant, kobs, showed a very small change with increasing [IO4?]. The dependence of kobs on [IO4?] is consistent with Eq. (i). (i) The pseudo‐first‐order rate constant, kobs, increased with increasing pH, indicating that the hydroxo form of the chromium(III) complex is the reactive species. An inner‐sphere mechanism has been proposed for the oxidation process. The thermodynamic activation parameters of the processes involved are also reported. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The reaction of 2,2′:6′,2′′‐terpyridine (terpy) with CuCl2 in the presence of sodium sulfite led to the synthesis of the ionic complex aquachlorido(2,2′:6′,2′′‐terpyridyl‐κ3N,N′,N′′)copper(II) chlorido(dithionato‐κO)(2,2′:6′,2′′‐terpyridyl‐κ3N,N′,N′′)cuprate(II) dihydrate, [CuCl(C15H11N3)(H2O)][CuCl(S2O6)(C15H11N3)]·2H2O, (I), and the in situ synthesis of the S2O62− dianion. Compound (I) is composed of a [CuCl(terpy)(H2O)]+ cation, a [Cu(S2O6)(terpy)] anion and two solvent water molecules. Thermogravimetric analysis indicated the loss of two water molecules at ca 363 K, and at 433 K the weight loss indicated a total loss of 2.5 water molecules. The crystal structure analysis of the resulting pale‐green dried crystals, μ‐dithionato‐κ2O:O′‐bis[chlorido(2,2′:6′,2′′‐terpyridyl‐κ3N,N′,N′′)copper(II)] monohydrate, [Cu2Cl2(S2O6)(C15H11N3)2]·H2O, (II), revealed a net loss of 1.5 water molecules and the formation of a binuclear complex with two [CuCl(terpy)]+ cations bridged by a dithionate dianion. The crystal‐to‐crystal transformation involved an effective reduction in the unit‐cell volume of ca 7.6%. In (I), the ions are linked by O—H...O hydrogen bonds involving the coordinated and solvent water molecules and O atoms of the dithionate unit, to form ribbon‐like polymer chains propagating in [100]. These chains are linked by Cu...Cl interactions [3.2626 (7) Å in the cation and 3.3492 (7) Å in the anion] centred about inversion centres, to form two‐dimensional networks lying in and parallel to (01). In (II), symmetry‐related molecules are linked by O—H...O hydrogen bonds involving the partially occupied disordered water molecule and an O atom of the bridging thiosulfite anion, to form ribbon‐like polymer chains propagating in [100]. These chains are also linked by Cu...Cl interactions [3.3765 (12) Å] centred about inversion centres to form similar two‐dimensional networks to (I) lying in and parallel to (02), crosslinked into three dimensions by C—H...O=S and C—H...O(water) interactions.  相似文献

The two title complexes, catena‐poly[[{2,2′‐[1,3‐propanediylbis(nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenolato}cobalt(III)]‐μ‐azido], [Co(C17H16N2O2)(N3)]n, (I), and catena‐poly[[{2,2′‐[1,3‐propanediylbis(nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenolato}cobalt(III)]‐μ‐thiocyanato], [Co(C17H16N2O2)(NCS)]n, (II), are isomorphous polynuclear cobalt(III) compounds. In both structures, the CoIII atom is six‐coordinated in an octahedral configuration by two N atoms and two O atoms of one Schiff base, and two terminal N or S atoms from two bridging ligands. The [N,N′‐bis(salicylidene)propane‐1,3‐diaminato]cobalt(III) moieties are linked by the bridging ligands, viz. azide in (I) and thiocyanate in (II), giving zigzag polymeric chains with backbones of the type [–Co—N—N—N—Co]n in (I) or [–Co—N—C—S—Co]n in (II) running along the c axis.  相似文献

In the title compound, [Rh(CH3)2(C2H3N)(C9H21N3)](C24H20B), the geometry around the RhIII centre is distorted octahedral, with elongated Rh—N bonds trans to the metal‐bonded methyl groups. The metal‐containing cations are located in channels formed by an anionic supramolecular mesh, in which aromatic π–π interactions between anionic [B(Ph)4]? units play a major role.  相似文献

Two differently hydrated crystal forms of the title compound, viz. bis(acetato‐κ2O,O′)(2,9‐dimethyl‐1,10‐phenanthroline‐κ2N,N′)mercury(II), [Hg(C2H3O2)2(C14H12N2)] or [HgAc2(dmph)] [dmph is 2,3‐dimethyl‐1,10‐phenantroline (neocuproine) and Ac is acetate], (I), and tris[bis(acetato‐κ2O,O′)(2,9‐dimethyl‐1,10‐phenanthroline‐κ2N,N′)mercury(II)] hexadecahydrate, [Hg(C2H3O2)2(C14H12N2)]3·16H2O or [HgAc2(dmph)]3·16H2O, (II), are presented. In the title compounds, {2,2′‐[2,2‐dimethyl‐1,3‐propanediylbis(nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenolato‐κ4N,N′,O,O′}nickel(II), [Ni(C19H20N2O2)], and {2,2′‐[2,2‐dimethyl‐1,3‐propanediylbis(nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenolato‐κ4N,N′,O,O′}copper(II), [Cu(C19H20N2O2)], the NiII and CuII atoms are coordinated by two iminic N and two phenolic O atoms of the N,N′‐bis(salicylidene)‐2,2‐dimethyl‐1,3‐propanediaminate (SALPD2?, C17H16N2O22?) ligand. [CrIII(LD)(Urd)(H2O)4](NO3)2?·?3H2O (LD?=?Levodopa; Urd?=?uridine) was prepared and characterized. The product of the oxidation reaction was examined using HPLC. Kinetics of the oxidation of [CrIII(LD)(Urd)(H2O)4]2+ with N-bromosuccinimide (NBS) in an aqueous solution was studied spectrophotometrically, with 1.0–5.0?×?10?4?mol?dm?3 complex, 0.5–5.0?×?10?2?mol?dm?3 NBS, 0.2–0.3?mol?dm?3 ionic strength (I), and 30–50°C. The reaction is first order with respect to [CrIII] and [NBS], decreases as pH increases in the range 5.46–6.54 and increases with the addition of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS, 0.0–1.0?×?10?3?mol?dm?3). Activation parameters including enthalpy, ΔH*, and entropy, ΔS*, were calculated. The experimental rate law is consistent with a mechanism in which the protonated species is more reactive than its conjugate base. It is assumed that the two-step one-electron transfer takes place via an inner-sphere mechanism. A mechanism for this reaction is proposed and supported by an excellent isokinetic relationship between ΔH* and ΔS* for some CrIII complexes. Formation of [CrIII(LD)(Urd)(H2O)4]2+ in vivo probably occurs with patients who administer the anti-Parkinson drug (Levodopa), since CrIII is a natural food element. This work provides an opportunity to identify the nature of such interactions in vivo similar to that in vitro.  相似文献

N,N′‐dioxide ligands such as 2, 2′‐bipyridine‐N,N‐dioxide (BPDO‐I) and 4, 4′‐bipyridine‐N,N‐dioxide (BPDO‐II) were used to trap the hydrated dimethyltin cations under controlled hydrolysis. The use of the chelating ligand BPDO‐I leads to the isolation of the discrete monocation [Me2Sn(BPDO‐I)(OH2)(NO3)]+[NO3] ( 2 ), whereas the linear ligand BPDO‐II directs the construction of cationic polymers, [{Me2Sn(OH2)2(μ‐BPDO‐II)}2+{NO3}2 · 2H2O]n ( 3· 2H2O) and [{Me2Sn(μ‐OH)(BPDO‐II)}22+{NO3}2 · H2O]n ( 4· H2O) under different reaction conditions.  相似文献
