In the (1)H and (13)C NMR spectra of selenophene-2-carbaldehyde azine, the (1)H-5, (13)C-3 and (13)C-5 signals of the selenophene ring are shifted to higher frequencies, whereas those of the (1)H-1, (13)C-1, (13)C-2 and (13)C-4 are shifted to lower frequencies on going from the EE to ZZ isomer or from the E moiety to the Z moiety of EZ isomer. The (15)N chemical shift is significantly larger in the EE isomer relative to the ZZ isomer and in the E moiety relative to the Z moiety of EZ isomer. A very pronounced difference (60-65 mg/g) between the (77)Se resonance positions is revealed in the studied azine isomers, the (77)Se peak being shifted to higher frequencies in the ZZ isomer and in the Z moiety of EZ isomer. The trends in the changes of the measured chemical shifts are reasonably reproduced by the GIAO calculations at the MP2 level of the (1)H, (13)C, (15)N and (77)Se shielding constants in the energy-favorable conformation with the syn orientation of both selenophene rings relative to the C = N groups. The NBO analysis suggests that such an arrangement of the selenophene rings may take place because of a higher energy of some intramolecular interactions.  相似文献

In the 1H and 13C NMR spectra of 1‐(2‐selenophenyl)‐1‐alkanone oximes, the 1H, the 13C‐3 and 13C‐5 signals of the selenophene ring are shifted by 0.1–0.4, 2.5–3.0 and 5.5–6.0 ppm, respectively, to higher frequencies, whereas those of the 13C‐1, 13C‐2 and 13C‐4 carbons are shifted by 4–5, ~11 and ~1.7 ppm to lower frequencies on going from the E to Z isomer. The 15N chemical shift of the oximic nitrogen is larger by 13–16 ppm in the E isomer relative to the Z isomer. An extraordinarily large difference (above 90 ppm) between the 77Se resonance positions is revealed in the studied oxime isomers, the 77Se peak being shifted to higher frequencies in the Z isomer. The trends in the changes of the measured chemical shifts are well reproduced by the GIAO calculations of the 1H, 13C, 15N and 77Se shielding constants in the energy‐favorable conformation with the syn orientation of the? C?N? O? H group relative to the selenophene ring. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In the acetylenic aldehyde oximes with substituents containing silicon and germanium, the 13C NMR signal of the C‐2 carbon of triple bond is shifted by 3.5 ppm to lower frequency and that of the C‐3 carbon is moved by 7 ppm to higher frequency on going from E to Z isomer. A greater low‐frequency effect of 5.5 ppm on the C‐2 carbon signal and a greater high‐frequency effect of 11 ppm on the C‐3 carbon signal are observed in the analogous acetylenic ketone oximes. The carbon chemical shift of the C?N bond is larger by 4 ppm in E isomer relative to Z isomer for the aldehyde and ketone oximes. The 29Si chemical shifts in the silicon containing acetylenic aldehyde and ketone oximes are almost the same for the diverse isomers. The trends in changes of the measured chemical shifts are well reproduced by the gauge‐including atomic orbital (GIAO) calculations of the 13C and 29Si shielding constants. 1H, 13C and 15N NMR measurements (1D and 2D including 1H--15N gs-HMBC) have been carried out on 3-amino-1, 2,4-benzotriazine and a series of N-oxides and complete assignments established. N-Oxidation at any position resulted in large upfield shifts of the corresponding N-1 and N-2 resonances and downfield shifts for N-4 with the exception of the 3-amino-1,2,4-benzotriazine 1-oxide in which a small upfield shift of N-4 was observed. Density functional GIAO calculations of the 15N and 13C chemical shifts [B3LYP/6-31G(d)//B3LYP/6-311+G(2d,p)] gave good agreement with experimental values confirming the assignments. The combination of 13C and 15N NMR provides an unambiguous method for assigning the 1H and 13C resonances of N-oxides of 1,2,4-benzotriazines.  相似文献

According to the (1)H, (13)C and (15)N NMR spectroscopic data and DFT calculations, bifurcated N--H...N and N--H...O intramolecular hydrogen bond is shown to be present in 2-trifluoroacetyl-5-(2'-pyridyl)-pyrrole. This bifurcated hydrogen bond causes an increase in the absolute size of the (1)J(N,H) coupling constant by about 6 Hz, and the deshielding of the bridge proton by 2 ppm. DFT calculations show that the influence of the N--H...N and N--H...O intramolecular hydrogen bonds on the (1)J(N,H) coupling and proton shielding is almost additive, although the components of the bifurcated hydrogen bond slightly weaken each other. In 2-trifluoroacetyl-5-(2'-pyridyl)-pyrrole, the coupling constants involving the fluorine and the N--H covalent bond nuclei depend dramatically on the spatial position of the pyridine ring. The pyridine ring rotation operates as a quantum switch controlling the spin information transfer between the (19)F and (15)N nuclei, as well as the proton.  相似文献

Three N-substituted pyrazoles and three N-substituted indazoles [1-(4-nitrophenyl)-3,5-dimethylpyrazole (1), 1-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)-3,5-dimethylpyrazole (2), 1-tosyl-pyrazole (3), 1-p-chlorobenzoylindazole (4), 1-tosylinda-zole (5) and 2-(2-hydroxy-2-phenylethyl)-indazole (6)] have been studied by NMR spectroscopy in solution (1H, 13C, 15N) and in the solid state (13C, 15N). The chemical shifts have been compared with GIAO/DFT calculated absolute shieldings. Some discrepancies have been analyzed.  相似文献

Comparative analysis of the 1Н and 13С NMR data for a series of the E and Z‐1‐styrylpyrroles, E and Z‐1‐(1‐propenyl)pyrroles, 1‐vinylpyrroles and styrene suggests that the conjugation between the unsaturated fragments in the former compounds is reduced. This is the result of the mutual influence of the donor p–π and π–π conjugation having opposite directions. According to the NMR data combined with the density functional theory calculations, the Z isomer of 1‐styrylpyrrole has essentially a nonplanar structure because of the steric hindrance. However, the E isomer of 1‐styrylpyrrole is also an out‐of‐plane structure despite the absence of a sterical barrier for the planar one. Deviation of the E isomer from the planar structure seems to be caused by an electronic hindrance produced by a mutual influence of the p–π and π–π conjugation. The structure of the E isomer of the 2‐substituted 1‐styrylpyrroles is similar to that of the 2‐substituted 1‐vinylpyrroles. The steric effects in the Z isomer of the 2‐substituted 1‐styrylpyrroles result in the large increase of the dihedral angle between planes of the pyrrole ring and double bond. NMR spectroscopic studies are undertaken with derivatives of 2‐pyrazinecarboxylic acid. Complete and unambiguous assignment of chemical shifts (1H, 13C, 15N) and coupling constants (1H,1H; 13C,1H; 15N,1H) is achieved by combined application of various 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic techniques. Unequivocal mapping of 13C,1H spin coupling constants is accomplished by 2D (δ,J) long‐range INEPT spectra with selective excitation. Phenomena such as the tautomerism of 3‐hydroxy‐2‐pyrazinecarboxylic acid are discussed. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The combined use of two‐dimensional NMR correlation experiments and gauge including atomic orbital density functional theory in 13C NMR chemical shift (CS) calculations allowed reliable and simple structural determination of regioisomeric heterocyclic systems that originate from the reactions of acylquinolinones with substituted hydrazines. Moreover, the results of differential analysis between the calculated 15N NMR CSs for hypothetical structures and the experimental data of the title azaheterocyclic systems were even more advantageous with respect to 13C because there was no need for correlational analysis: structures of the regioisomeric compounds could be determined just by direct comparison. 1H and 13C NMR chemical shift calculations using the density functional theory–gauge including/invariant atomic orbitals (DFT–GIAO) approximation at the B3LYP/6‐311G++(d,p) level of theory have been used to assign both natural diastereoisomers of 6β‐hydroxyhyoscyamine. The theoretical chemical shifts of the 1H and 13C atoms in both isomers were calculated using a previously determined conformational distribution, and the theoretical and experimental values were cross‐compared. For protons, the obtained average absolute differences and root mean square (rms) errors for each comparison showed that the experimental chemical shifts of dextrorotatory and levorotatory 6β‐hydroxyhyoscyamines correlated well with the theoretical values calculated for the (3R,6R,2′S) and (3S,6S,2′S) configurations, respectively, whereas for 13C atoms the calculations were unable to differentiate between isomers. The nature of the relatively large chemical shift differences observed in nuclei that share similar chemical environments between isomers was asserted from the same calculations. It is shown that the anisotropic effect of the phenyl group in the tropic ester moiety, positioned under the tropane ring, has a larger shielding effect over one ring side than over the other one. The (13)C and (15)N absolute shieldings of 28 compounds have been calculated at the GIAO/B3LYP/6-311 + + G** level to complete a collection of data already published. This has allowed us to devise new equations relating delta and sigma for these nuclei based on 461 points ((13)C) and 70(72) points ((15)N).  相似文献

The measurement of the magnitude and sign of 2J(C,H) couplings offers a reliable way to determine the absolute configuration at a carbon center in a fixed cyclic system. A decrease of the dihedral angle ? in the O—CA—CB—H fragment always leads to a change of the 2J(CA,HB) coupling to more negative values, independent of the type and position of substituents at the two carbon centers. The orientations of the two substituents at C‐3 of the epimeric pair 1 and 2 were determined unambiguously through the measurement of the geminal coupling constants between C‐3 and the hydrogen atoms at C‐2 and C‐4. In particular, 2J(C‐3,H‐2ax) with ?1.5 Hz, ? = 174° in 1 and ?6.6 Hz, ? = 47° in 2 , and 2J(C‐3,H‐4) with +1.5 Hz, ? = 175° in 1 and ?4.7 Hz, ? = 49° in 2 showed the greatest differences between the two epimers. Both couplings therefore allow the determination of the absolute configuration at C‐3. It should be noted, however, that the size of the coupling constants can be different for dihedral angles of nearly identical size, when there are different numbers of electronegative substituents on the two coupling pathways, i.e. no O‐substituent at C‐2, but one axial O‐substituent at C‐4. It becomes clear that it is not sufficient to measure the magnitude of 2J coupling constants only, but that the sign of the geminal coupling is needed to identify the absolute configuration at a chiral center. The coupling of C‐3 with H‐2eq is not useful for the determination of the configuration at C‐3, as the similarity of the dihedral angles ? (O—C‐3—C‐2—H‐2eq) (57° in 1 and 70° in 2 ) leads to identical coupling constants (?6.1 Hz) for both epimers. Copyright © 2003 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

It has been discovered that the chemical shifts of carbon atoms in 13C NMR spectra of oximes having pyrrolyl, furyl, benzofuryl, thienyl, and pyridyl rings as substituents are changed systematically on going from the E- to the Z-isomer. This makes it possible to use the indicated chemical shifts for establishing the configuration of oximes with heterocyclic substituents and studying the special features of their electronic structure. In this investigation we report a complete assignment of (13)C, (1)H and (15)N solution and solid state chemical shifts of two bacterial photosynthetic pigments, bacteriochlorophyll (BChl) a and bacteriopheophytin (BPheo) a. Uniform stable-isotope labelling strategies were developed and applied to biosynthetic preparation of photosynthetic pigments, namely uniformly (13)C, (15)N labelled BChl a and BPheo a. Uniform stable-isotope labelling with (13)C, (15)N allowed performing the assignment of the (13)C, (15)N and (1)H resonances. The photosynthetic pigments were isolated from the biomass of photosynthetic bacteria Rhodopseudomonas palustris 17001 grown in uniformly (13)C (99%) and (15)N (98%) enriched medium. Both pigments were characterised by NMR in solution (acetone-d(6)) and by MAS NMR in solid state and their NMR resonances were recorded and assigned through standard liquid 2D (13)C-(13)C COSY, (1)H-(13)C HMQC, (1)H-(15)N HMBC and solid 2D (13)C-(13)C RFDR, (1)H-(13)C FSLG HETCOR and (1)H-(15)N HETCOR correlation techniques at 600 MHz and 750 MHz. The characterisation of pigments is of interest from biochemical to pharmaceutical industries, photosynthesis and food research.  相似文献

The chemistry of dyes and pigments is relevant to the textile industry, because of the importance to establish the best conditions for the finishing process and to understand the interactions among various compounds to yield the correct hue and nuances. For this reason, the molecular structure of a monoazo acid dye, C.I. Acid Red 131, was elucidated and characterized by homo‐ and hetero‐nuclear NMR, MS, IR and UV spectroscopy techniques. The 1H, 13C and 15N NMR studies have shown that the E and Z isomers of pyrrole‐2‐carbaldehyde oxime adopt preferable conformation with the syn orientation of the oxime group with respect to the pyrrole ring. The syn conformation of E and Z isomers of pyrrole‐2‐carbaldehyde oxime is stabilized by the N? H···N and N? H···O intramolecular hydrogen bonds, respectively. The N? H···N hydrogen bond in the E isomer causes the high‐frequency shift of the bridge proton signal by about 1 ppm and increase the 1J(N, H) coupling by ~3 Hz. The bridge proton shows further deshielding and higher increase of the 1J(N, H) coupling constant due to the strengthening of the N? H···O hydrogen bond in the Z isomer. The MP2 calculations indicate that the syn conformation of E and Z isomers is by ~3.5 kcal/mol energetically less favorable than the anti conformation. The calculations of 1H shielding and 1J(N, H) coupling in the syn and anti conformations allow the contribution to these constants from the N? H···N and N? H···O hydrogen bondings to be estimated. The NBO analysis suggests that the N? H···N hydrogen bond in the E isomer is a pure electrostatic interaction while the charge transfer from the oxygen lone pair to the antibonding orbital of the N? H bond through the N? H···O hydrogen bond occurs in the Z isomer. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献
