Intensities and half-widths of individual lines, over the temperature range 200–325°K in the 15 μm bands of 12C16O2, have been determined with a tunable diode laser spectrometer. Measurements were made on pure CO2 and on dilute CO2-in-N2 mixtures on the R-branches of the 0110-0000 and 0220-0110 transitions. Intensities are approximately equal to those listed in the AFGL compilation. The pressure-broadened half-widths follow the general relationship bL0(T) = bL0(T0) [T0T]n where n varies considerably from line to line but is always greater than 12.  相似文献

Reflectance spectra were measured on ZnTe in magnetic fields up to 18 T for B ? [100] and B ? [110]. The experiments yield renormalized valence band parameters γ12 = 0.83 ± 0.08 and γ13 = 1.30 ± 0.12, corresponding to bare parameters γ2 = 0.95 ± 0.09 and γ3 = 1.48 ± 0.14. From the free exciton Rydberg energy R10 = 12.8 meV we derive a reduced exciton polaron mass m0 0.080 ± 0.005 and a bare reduced mass m0 0.074 ± 0.005, corresponding to γ11 = 3.9 ± 0.7 and γ1 = 4.4 ± 0.7 for an electron effective polaron mass m1e = 0.116 m0. We further calculate the exciton diamagnetic shift rate according to existing low-field theories modified by a variational calculation taking into account polaron effects and valid up to γ ? 1. The difference between experiment and theory is 10% and the agreement is considered satisfactory.  相似文献

The main result of the paper is essential self-adjointness of T0 in L2(Rm). Measurements of the line strengths and collisional broadening widths of CO in a N2 atmosphere were made from 300 to 600 K. The lines studied were the P(2), P(3), P(7), P(12), P(18), and P(22) lines of the fundamental band at 2100 cm?1. The absorption spectra were parametrically fit to a Voigt lineshape model. The band strength was determined to be 250±8 cm?2atm?1. The broadening results are compared to Anderson-Tsao-Curnutte calculations and to other experimental studies. The possibility of using an equation of the form γ(T)=γ(T0(T0T)n to extrapolate the temperature dependence of the half-widths to flame temperatures is discussed.  相似文献

Cyclotron resonance of electron and holes have been optically detected at 70 GHz and at 1.8 K in n-type CdTe. The bare effective masses, in unit of the free electron mass, are found to be: m1 = 0.088 ± 0.004, m1lh = 0.12 ± 0.01, m1 = 0.60 ± for H // <100>, and m1e = 0.089 0.004, m1lh = 0.11 ± 0.01, m1hh = 0.69 ± 0.02 for H // <111>. The Luttinger valence band parameters deduced from these measurements are: γ1 = 5.3 ± 0.5, γ2 = 1.7 ± 0.3 and γ3 = 2.0 ± 0.3, in fair agreement with the calculations of Lawaetz.  相似文献

Measurements of collisional broadening of four fundamental CO lines in atmospheres of CO2 and H2O at 300–600 K were made. The Voigt line-shape model was fitted parametrically to the absorption spectra line-shapes. The results are compared with other experimental studies and with theoretical calculations for CO2 broadening. Absorption spectra of the exhaust gases of a flat flame were recorded and analyzed to yield CO concentration, temperature, and line half-widths. The flame spectra half-widths were compared with extrapolations of lower temperature data using the simple power law approximation γ(T)=γ(T0) (T0T)n. The utility of this approximation in the development of combustion diagnostic techniques is discussed.  相似文献

Angular distributions of six polarization transfer coefficients Kxx′(θ), kxz′(θ), Kzx?(θ), Kzz?(θ), and Kyyy?(θ); of the four analyzing powers Ay(θ), Axx(θ), Ayy(θ), and Azz(θ); and of the polarization function Pý(θ), have been measured atEd = 10.00 MeV for the reaction 2H(d, n)3He. Measurements were made for neutron lab angles between 0° and 80° in 10° steps. Additionally the y-axis associated quantities were measured at θ1ab = 99°. Most of the measured coefficients are large at some angles and all show considerable variation with angle.  相似文献

The collisional broadening by water vapor of the P(2), P(3), and P(7) absorption lines of the fundamental band of CO was studied at 7 temperatures ranging from 400 to 1000 K. The Lorentz halfwidth was determined by a parametric fit of the measured lineshape to the Voigt profile. The halfwidth at standard temperature was found by fitting the data for each line to γ(T0)=γ(T)(TT0)-N. The value of N for the P(2) line was found to be 0.7343±0.0067, for the P(3) line 0.70168±0.00073, and for the P(7) line 0.76686±0.00006.  相似文献

The electronic properties of single crystals of monoclinic SrAs3 have been studied by investigating the temperature dependence of electrical conductivity, Hall effect and Shubnikov de Haas (SdH) oscillations. At 4.2 K, SrAs3 is predominantly p-conducting with a typical hole concentration of 6 × 1017cm-3. The Hall coefficient changes its sign near 80 K. The angular dependence of the SdH oscillations was used to map out the shape of the Fermi-surface of holes. Two asymmetric, quasi-ellipsoidal Fermi-bodies are located in the first Brillouin zone. The cyclotron effective masses m1 for two crystallographic directions were calculated from the temperature dependence of the amplitude of the oscillations: m1(B6a)=(0.70± 0.002)m0and m1(B6c1)=(0.095±0.003)m0, respectively. There are indications for a third Fermi-surface which is attributed to electrons.  相似文献

Small-angle scattering of long wavelength neutrons (λ = 6.42 A?) from an Fe65Ni35 single crystal has been measured with the applied magnetic field (6.2 kG) parallel and perpendicular to the scattering vector K of the elastic scattering over the temperature range from 25 to 422°C (Tc = 227°C). The scattering cross sections due to the longitudinal spin fluctuation have been analyzed by means of Guinier's approximation (dσ/dω)0exp(?κ2Rg23), where the forward cross section (/)0 is proportional to n, which is the number of atoms in a paramagnetic cluster, and Rg is the radius of gyration of the cluster. The empirical relation between n and Rg is = 0.298 × Rg2.34 to be compared with that calculated for a simple spherical cluster model n = 1.274 Rg3.  相似文献

The electrical resistivity of amorphous carbon films getter-sputtered at 95°K is well fitted between 300 and 20°K by the relation ? = ?0exp [(T0/T)14] with T0 ? 7 × 107K. This behavior suggests a hopping conductivity very similar to that found in other amorphous semiconductors.  相似文献

Line strengths and self- and nitrogen-broadened half-widths were measured for spectral lines in the ν3 and ν2 + ν4 bands of 12CH4 and 13CH4 from 2870–2883 cm?1 using a tunable diode laser spectrometer. From measurements made over a temperature range from 215 to 297 K, on samples of 12CH4 broadened with N2, we deduced that the average temperature coefficients n, defined as bL0(T) = bL0(T0)(TT0)?n, of the Lorentz broadening coefficients for the ν3 and ν2 + ν4 bands of 12CH4 were 0.97 ± 0.03 and 0.89 ± 0.04, respectively. A smaller increase is observed in line half-width with increasing pressure for E-species lines, for both self- and nitrogen-broadening, than for other symmetry species lines over the range of pressures measured, 70 to 100 Torr.  相似文献

Using a recent theoretical method, the ratio of nuclear matrix elements R = (vF0220?√32AF0221/vF0211) was determined to be either 20.50+0.35?0.55 or 25.22+0.28?0.17 in the second-forbidden nonunique decay of 8 × 104 y 59Ni. These values of R were obtained from a value of L3/K = 0.008 ± 0.002 found by subtracting the theoretical ratio (L1 + L2)K = 0.113 (based on QPEC = 1070 ± 8 keV) from the total ratio L/K = 0.121 ± 0.002, which was measured with a reactor-produced, doubly-mass-separated 59Ni source introduced as gaseous nickel-ocene, (C5H5)2, into a wall-less, anticoincidence, multiwire proportional counter. The 854–1008 eV L and the 8.33 keV K peaks were measured simultaneously.  相似文献

Excitation functions at θ = 90° have been measured for 16O(3He, γ0?2, 3?5, 6)19Ne, 15N(3He, γ0, 1?4)18F, 14N(3He, γ0, 1,2,3)17F, and 20Ne(3He, γ0 + 1)23Mg, in the range E3He = 3–19 MeV. The first reaction has also been studied at θ = 40°. Excitation functions at 90° have also been measured for 40Ca(3He, γ0?2)43Ti for E3He = 4–17 MeV and 4He(3He, γ0 + 1)7Be for E3He = 19–26 MeV. Angular distributions have been measured for the first four reactions.For the most excitation functions, a broad peak is observed, several MeV wide, centred at about Ex≈ 20 MeV. Superimposed on this, in some cases, are narrower peaks, with width ≈ 1 MeV. Energies and widths have been extracted for all resonances.Cluster-model calculations have been carried out, using methods similar to those which have proved successful for low-lying states in A= 18–19 nuclei. No satisfactory correspondence with the present results was found. The shell model has been used to calculate Γ3He and Γγ for 1?ω excitations in the final nuclei. These generally show good agreement with the trends of the experimental data. The results are consistent with the excitation of the giant dipole resonance in 3He capture, but much more weakly than in proton capture.  相似文献

Three kg of stoichiometric single crystals of Cu2Mn Al have been grown by the Bridgman method. The thermal variations of their magnetization, anisotropy, magnetostriction and elastic constants have been measured between 4.2 and 300 K. This alloy exhibits a small magnetocrystalline anisotropy, but a large elastic anisotropy (C?Cγ = 4.9) which explains the strong anisotropy of the magnetostriction (λγ,2λ?,2 = 10). The magnetic moment per Mn atom at 0 K is 3.6 μB.  相似文献

Luminescence decay of isolated donor-acceptor pairs has been measured over the range of pair distance R ~ 180 Å in phosphorous-doped ZnTe. Analysis of the recombination rate as a function of the pair distance suggests an asymptotic behaviour of the acceptor envelope function of the type exp(-r/aA), with aA = 40 ± 10 A?. This effective Bohr radius would correspond to an hydrogenic mass m1 = (0.13 ± 0.03)mo, which is close to the light hole mass as measured from cyclotron resonance experiments, m1 = (0.154 ± 0.005)mo. A discussion on the validity of the isolated donor-acceptor pair model is also given.  相似文献

The cyclotron resonance of inversion-layer electrons on (100)p-type Si is found to depend sensitively on an externally applied compressive stress. At low temperatures (T ? 10 K) we observe a considerable increase of the cyclotron mass m1c with stress S along the [001] direction. The effect is most strongly observed at low electron densities ns. For S~1.5 × 109dynecm2 and ns~2 × 1011cm-2 we obtain m1c~0.4 m0 instead of the expected 0.2m0. Along with this change of m1c a strong narrowing of the resonance is noted. Raising the temperature gives an additional ns- dependent increase of m1c.  相似文献

Using a previously described transmission method, cyclotron resonance of electrons on the lens of the Fermi surface of molybdenum was observed. The resonance signals were recorded in Azbel-Kaner configuration with the magnetic field B parallel to the (110) plane of a monocrystal of thickness d = 0.15 mm.The effective mass of the electrons was determined as m>1 = (0.183 ± 0.002)m0; m1 = (0.261 ± 0.008)m0 and m1 = (0.29 ± 0.02)m0 for B at angles of 0°; 3°; and 7.4° with respect to the crystallographical 〈110〉 direction. For these orientations of B and applying the method of cyclotron resonance cut-off observation, the dimensions of the electron lens were determined.  相似文献

The background energy content of a mode-locked Nd-glass laser is determined with photodetectors and saturable absorbers. By comparing the signal height of a fast detector with the readout of an integrating energy meter the noise energy Eu2 outside the rise-time of the fast detector is measured. The background energy Eu1 within the rise-time is analysed by transmission measurements through two subsequent absorber cells. The obtained mean background to pulse energy (and intensity) ratios of (Eu1Ep)m=0.015±0.012 ((Iu1I0L)m=1.8 × 10?4±1.5 × 10?4) and (Eu2Ep)m=0.05±0.01 ((Iu2I0L)m=3 × 10?5±6 × 10?6) indicate a high degree of mode-locking.  相似文献
