A facile and general synthetic pathway for the production of dearomatized, allylated, and C? H bond activated pyridine derivatives is presented. Reaction of the corresponding derivative with the previously reported reagent bis(allyl)calcium, [Ca(C3H5)2] ( 1 ), cleanly affords the product in high yield. The range of N‐heterocyclic compounds studied comprised 2‐picoline ( 2 ), 4‐picoline ( 3 ), 2,6‐lutidine ( 4 ), 4‐tert‐butylpyridine ( 5 ), 2,2′‐bipyridine ( 6 ), acridine ( 7 ), quinoline ( 8 ), and isoquinoline ( 9 ). Depending on the substitution pattern of the pyridine derivative, either carbometalation or C? H bond activation products are obtained. In the absence of methyl groups ortho or para to the nitrogen atom, carbometalation leads to dearomatized products. C(sp3)? H bond activation occurs at ortho and para situated methyl groups. Steric shielding of the 4‐position in pyridine yields the ring‐metalated product through C(sp2)? H bond activation instead. The isolated compounds [Ca(2‐CH2‐C5H4N)2(THF)] ( 2 b ?(THF)), [Ca(4‐CH2‐C5H4N)2(THF)2] ( 3 b ?(THF)2), [Ca(2‐CH2‐C5H3N‐6‐CH3)2(THF)n] ( 4 b ?(THF)n; n=0, 0.75), [Ca{2‐C5H3N‐4‐C(CH3)3}2(THF)2] ( 5 c ?(THF)2), [Ca{4,4′‐(C3H5)2‐(C10H8N2)}(THF)] ( 6 a ?(THF)), [Ca(NC13H9‐9‐C3H5)2(THF)] ( 7 a ?(THF)), [Ca(4‐C3H5‐C9H7N)2(THF)] ( 8 b ?(THF)), and [Ca(1‐C3H5‐C9H7N)2(THF)3] ( 9 a ?(THF)3) have been characterized by NMR spectroscopy and metal analysis. 9 a ?(THF)4 and 4 b ?(THF)3 were additionally characterized in the solid state by X‐ray diffraction experiments. 4 b ?(THF)3 shows an aza‐allyl coordination mode in the solid state. Based on the results, mechanistic aspects are discussed in the context of previous findings.  相似文献

Weak interactions between organic molecules are important in solid‐state structures where the sum of the weaker interactions support the overall three‐dimensional crystal structure. The sp‐C—H…N hydrogen‐bonding interaction is strong enough to promote the deliberate cocrystallization of a series of diynes with a series of dipyridines. It is also possible that a similar series of cocrystals could be formed between molecules containing a terminal alkyne and molecules which contain carbonyl O atoms as the potential hydrogen‐bond acceptor. I now report the crystal structure of two cocrystals that support this hypothesis. The 1:1 cocrystal of 1,4‐diethynylbenzene with 1,3‐diacetylbenzene, C10H6·C10H10O2, (1), and the 1:1 cocrystal of 1,4‐diethynylbenzene with benzene‐1,4‐dicarbaldehyde, C10H6·C8H6O2, (2), are presented. In both cocrystals, a strong nonconventional ethynyl–carbonyl sp‐C—H…O hydrogen bond is observed between the components. In cocrystal (1), the C—H…O hydrogen‐bond angle is 171.8 (16)° and the H…O and C…O hydrogen‐bond distances are 2.200 (19) and 3.139 (2) Å, respectively. In cocrystal (2), the C—H…O hydrogen‐bond angle is 172.5 (16)° and the H…O and C…O hydrogen‐bond distances are 2.25 (2) and 3.203 (2) Å, respectively.  相似文献

The understanding of intermolecular interactions is a key objective of crystal engineering in order to exploit the derived knowledge for the rational design of new molecular solids with tailored physical and chemical properties. The tools and theories of crystal engineering are indispensable for the rational design of (pharmaceutical) cocrystals. The results of cocrystallization experiments of the antithyroid drug 6‐propyl‐2‐thiouracil (PTU) with 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine (DAPY), and of 6‐methoxymethyl‐2‐thiouracil (MOMTU) with DAPY and 2,4,6‐triaminopyrimidine (TAPY), respectively, are reported. PTU and MOMTU show a high structural similarity and differ only in the replacement of a methylene group (–CH2–) with an O atom in the side chain, thus introducing an additional hydrogen‐bond acceptor in MOMTU. Both molecules contain an ADA hydrogen‐bonding site (A = acceptor and D = donor), while the coformers DAPY and TAPY both show complementary DAD sites and therefore should be capable of forming a mixed ADA/DAD synthon with each other, i.e. N—H…O, N—H…N and N—H…S hydrogen bonds. The experiments yielded one solvated cocrystal salt of PTU with DAPY, four different solvates of MOMTU, one ionic cocrystal of MOMTU with DAPY and one cocrystal salt of MOMTU with TAPY, namely 2,4‐diaminopyrimidinium 6‐propyl‐2‐thiouracilate–2,4‐diaminopyrimidine–N,N‐dimethylacetamide–water (1/1/1/1) (the systematic name for 6‐propyl‐2‐thiouracilate is 6‐oxo‐4‐propyl‐2‐sulfanylidene‐1,2,3,6‐tetrahydropyrimidin‐1‐ide), C4H7N4+·C7H9N2OS·C4H6N4·C4H9NO·H2O, (I), 6‐methoxymethyl‐2‐thiouracil–N,N‐dimethylformamide (1/1), C6H8N2O2S·C3H7NO, (II), 6‐methoxymethyl‐2‐thiouracil–N,N‐dimethylacetamide (1/1), C6H8N2O2S·C4H9NO, (III), 6‐methoxymethyl‐2‐thiouracil–dimethyl sulfoxide (1/1), C6H8N2O2S·C2H6OS, (IV), 6‐methoxymethyl‐2‐thiouracil–1‐methylpyrrolidin‐2‐one (1/1), C6H8N2O2S·C5H9NO, (V), 2,4‐diaminopyrimidinium 6‐methoxymethyl‐2‐thiouracilate (the systematic name for 6‐methoxymethyl‐2‐thiouracilate is 4‐methoxymethyl‐6‐oxo‐2‐sulfanylidene‐1,2,3,6‐tetrahydropyrimidin‐1‐ide), C4H7N4+·C6H7N2O2S, (VI), and 2,4,6‐triaminopyrimidinium 6‐methoxymethyl‐2‐thiouracilate–6‐methoxymethyl‐2‐thiouracil (1/1), C4H8N5+·C6H7N2O2S·C6H8N2O2S, (VII). Whereas in (I) only an AA/DD hydrogen‐bonding interaction was formed, the structures of (VI) and (VII) both display the desired ADA/DAD synthon. Conformational studies on the side chains of PTU and MOMTU also revealed a significant deviation for cocrystals (VI) and (VII), leading to the desired enhancement of the hydrogen‐bond pattern within the crystal.  相似文献

Only a few cyclooctatetraene dianion (COT) π‐complexes of lanthanides have been crystallographically characterized. This first single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction characterization of a scandium(III) COT chloride complex, namely di‐μ‐chlorido‐bis[(η8‐cyclooctatetraene)(tetrahydrofuran‐κO )scandium(III)], [Sc2(C8H8)2Cl2(C4H8O)2] or [Sc(COT)Cl(THF)]2 (THF is tetrahydrofuran), (1), reveals a dimeric molecular structure with symmetric chloride bridges [average Sc—Cl = 2.5972 (7) Å] and a η8‐bound COT ligand. The COT ring is planar, with an average C—C bond length of 1.399 (3) Å. The Sc—C bond lengths range from 2.417 (2) to 2.438 (2) Å [average 2.427 (2) Å]. Direct comparison of (1) with the known lanthanide (Ln) analogues (La, Ce, Pr, Nd, and Sm) illustrates the effect of metal‐ion (M ) size on molecular structure. Overall, the M —Cl, M —O, and M —C bond lengths in (1) are the shortest in the series. In addition, only one THF molecule completes the coordination environment of the small ScIII ion, in contrast to the previously reported dinuclear Ln–COT–Cl complexes, which all have two bound THF molecules per metal atom.  相似文献

The structural study of Sc complexes containing dianions of anthracene and tetraphenylethylene should shed some light on the nature of rare‐earth metal–carbon bonding. The crystal structures of (18‐crown‐6)bis(tetrahydrofuran‐κO)sodium bis(η6‐1,1,2,2‐tetraphenylethenediyl)scandium(III) tetrahydrofuran disolvate, [Na(C4H8O)2(C12H24O6)][Sc(C26H20)2]·2C4H8O or [Na(18‐crown‐6)(THF)2][Sc(η6‐C2Ph4)2]·2(THF), ( 1b ), (η5‐1,3‐diphenylcyclopentadienyl)(tetrahydrofuran‐κO)(η6‐1,1,2,2‐tetraphenylethenediyl)scandium(III) toluene hemisolvate, [Sc(C17H13)(C26H20)(C4H8O)]·0.5C7H8 or [(η5‐1,3‐Ph2C5H3)Sc(η6‐C2Ph4)(THF)]·0.5(toluene), ( 5b ), poly[[(μ2‐η33‐anthracenediyl)bis(η6‐anthracenediyl)bis(η5‐1,3‐diphenylcyclopentadienyl)tetrakis(tetrahydrofuran)dipotassiumdiscandium(III)] tetrahydrofuran monosolvate], {[K2Sc2(C14H10)3(C17H13)2(C4H8O)4]·C4H8O}n or [K(THF)2]2[(1,3‐Ph2C5H3)2Sc2(C14H10)3]·THF, ( 6 ), and 1,4‐diphenylcyclopenta‐1,3‐diene, C17H14, ( 3a ), have been established. The [Sc(η6‐C2Ph4)2] complex anion in ( 1b ) contains the tetraphenylethylene dianion in a symmetrical bis‐η3‐allyl coordination mode. The complex homoleptic [Sc(η6‐C2Ph4)2] anion retains its structure in THF solution, displaying hindered rotation of the coordinated phenyl rings. The 1D 1H and 13C{1H}, and 2D COSY 1H–1H and 13C–1H NMR data are presented for M[Sc(Ph4C2)2xTHF [M = Na and x = 4 for ( 1a ); M = K and x = 3.5 for ( 2a )] in THF‐d8 media. Complex ( 5b ) exhibits an unsymmetrical bis‐η3‐allyl coordination mode of the dianion, but this changes to a η4 coordination mode for (1,3‐Ph2C5H3)Sc(Ph4C2)(THF)2, ( 5a ), in THF‐d8 solution. A 45Sc NMR study of ( 2a ) and UV–Vis studies of ( 1a ), ( 2a ) and ( 5a ) indicate a significant covalent contribution to the Sc—Ph4C2 bond character. The unique Sc ate complex, ( 6 ), contains three anthracenide dianions demonstrating both a η6‐coordination mode for two bent ligands and a μ2‐η33‐bridging mode of a flat ligand. Each [(1,3‐Ph2C5H3)2Sc2(C14H10)3]2− dianionic unit is connected to four neighbouring units via short contacts with [K(THF)2]+ cations, forming a two‐dimensional coordination polymer framework parallel to (001).  相似文献

Notwithstanding its simple structure, the chemistry of nitric oxide (NO) is complex. As a radical, NO is highly reactive. NO also has profound effects on the cardiovascular system. In order to regulate NO levels, direct therapeutic interventions include the development of numerous NO donors. Most of these donors release NO in a single high‐concentration burst, which is deleterious. N‐Nitrosated secondary amines release NO in a slow, sustained, and rate‐tunable manner. Two new precursors to sustained NO‐releasing materials have been characterized. N‐[2‐(3,4‐Dimethoxyphenyl)ethyl]‐2,4‐dinitroaniline, C16H17N3O6, (I), crystallizes with one independent molecule in the asymmetric unit. The adjacent amine and nitro groups form an intramolecular N—H…O hydrogen bond. The anti conformation about the phenylethyl‐to‐aniline C—N bond leads to the planes of the arene and aniline rings being approximately perpendicular. Molecules are linked into dimers by weak intermolecular N—H…O hydrogen bonds such that each amine H atom participates in a three‐center interaction with two nitro O atoms. The dimers pack so that the arene rings of adjacent molecules are not parallel and π–π interactions do not appear to be favored. N‐(4‐Methylsulfonyl‐2‐nitrophenyl)‐l ‐phenylalanine, C16H16N2O6S, (II), with an optically active center, also crystallizes with one unique molecule in the asymmetric unit. The l enantiomer was established via the configuration of the starting material and was confirmed by refinement of the Flack parameter. As in (I), there is an intramolecular N—H…O hydrogen bond between adjacent amine and nitro groups. The conformation of the molecule is such that the arene rings display a dihedral angle of ca 60°. Unlike (I), molecules are not linked via intermolecular N—H…O hydrogen bonds. Rather, the carboxylic acid H atom forms a classic, approximately linear, O—H…O hydrogen bond with a sulfone O atom. Pairs of molecules related by twofold rotation axes are linked into dimers by two such interactions. The packing pattern features a zigzag arrangement of the arene rings without apparent π–π interactions. These structures are compared with reported analogues, revealing significant differences in molecular conformation, intermolecular interactions, and packing that result from modest changes in functional groups. The structures are discussed in terms of potential NO‐release capability.  相似文献

In the title compound, [Li(C4H8O)4][ZrCl2(C12H8N)3(C4H8O)], the environment of the Zr atom is pseudo‐octahedral, with the three carbazolyl ligands in a mer configuration. The counter‐ion of the zirconium complex is composed of an Li atom surrounded by four tetrahydrofuran (THF) molecules. The THF molecule attached to the Zr atom is disordered over two sites, as are two of the THF molecules in the lithium moiety. All bond distances and angles are consistent with those in complexes with similar structural entities. The Zr—N bond distances are 2.2185 (18) and 2.167 (3) Å.  相似文献

The title compounds with terminal N‐heterocyclic carbenes, namely octacarbonyl(imidazolidinylidene‐κC2)di‐μ3‐sulfido‐triiron(II)(2 FeFe), [Fe3(C3H6N2)(μ3‐S)2(CO)8], (I), and octacarbonyl(1‐methylimidazo[1,5‐a]pyridin‐3‐ylidene‐κC3)di‐μ3‐sulfido‐triiron(II)(2 FeFe), [Fe3(C8H8N2)(μ3‐S)2(CO)8], (II), have been synthesized. Each compound contains two Fe—Fe bonds and two S atoms above and below a triiron triangle. One of the eight carbonyl ligands deviates significantly from linearity. In (I), dimers generated by an N—H...S hydrogen bond are linked into [001] double chains by a second N—H...S hydrogen bond. These chains are packed by a C—H...O hydrogen bond to yield [101] sheets. In (II), dimers generated by an N—H...S hydrogen bond are linked by C—H...O hydrogen bonds to form [111] double chains.  相似文献

Reaction of divalent Sm(OAr)2(THF)3 (Ar = C6H2tert‐Bu3‐2,4,6; THF = tetrahydrofuran) with one equivalent of azobenzene in THF and crystallization of the product in diethyl ether afforded the title complex (ArO)2(THF)2Sm(η2‐N2Ph2)·Et2O in good yield. In the complex, the N? N bond length for the azobenzene species is lengthened. The two Sm? N bonds are equivalent, and their bond lengths are intermediate between the donor bond and the single bond. o‐Benzenedicarbaldehyde (systematic name: benzene‐1,2‐dicarbaldehyde), C8H6O2, exhibits a weak intramolecular hydrogen bond between an aldehyde H atom and the O atom of the adjacent aldehyde group, with a C?O distance of 2.852 (2) Å. m‐Benzenedicarbaldehyde (systematic name: benzene‐1,3‐dicarbaldehyde), C8H6O2, occurs as two different isomorphs. In all three crystals, there are intermolecular C—H?O contacts involving both aldehyde and ring H atoms.  相似文献

A path to new synthons for application in crystal engineering is the replacement of a strong hydrogen‐bond acceptor, like a C=O group, with a weaker acceptor, like a C=S group, in doubly or triply hydrogen‐bonded synthons. For instance, if the C=O group at the 2‐position of barbituric acid is changed into a C=S group, 2‐thiobarbituric acid is obtained. Each of the compounds comprises two ADA hydrogen‐bonding sites (D = donor and A = acceptor). We report the results of cocrystallization experiments of barbituric acid and 2‐thiobarbituric acid, respectively, with 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine, which contains a complementary DAD hydrogen‐bonding site and is therefore capable of forming an ADA/DAD synthon with barbituric acid and 2‐thiobarbituric acid. In addition, pure 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine was crystallized in order to study its preferred hydrogen‐bonding motifs. The experiments yielded one ansolvate of 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine (pyrimidine‐2,4‐diamine, DAPY), C4H6N4, (I), three solvates of DAPY, namely 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine–1,4‐dioxane (2/1), 2C4H6N4·C4H8O2, (II), 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine–N,N‐dimethylacetamide (1/1), C4H6N4·C4H9NO, (III), and 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine–1‐methylpyrrolidin‐2‐one (1/1), C4H6N4·C5H9NO, (IV), one salt of barbituric acid, viz. 2,4‐diaminopyrimidinium barbiturate (barbiturate is 2,4,6‐trioxopyrimidin‐5‐ide), C4H7N4+·C4H3N2O3, (V), and two solvated salts of 2‐thiobarbituric acid, viz. 2,4‐diaminopyrimidinium 2‐thiobarbiturate–N,N‐dimethylformamide (1/2) (2‐thiobarbiturate is 4,6‐dioxo‐2‐sulfanylidenepyrimidin‐5‐ide), C4H7N4+·C4H3N2O2S·2C3H7NO, (VI), and 2,4‐diaminopyrimidinium 2‐thiobarbiturate–N,N‐dimethylacetamide (1/2), C4H7N4+·C4H3N2O2S·2C4H9NO, (VII). The ADA/DAD synthon was succesfully formed in the salt of barbituric acid, i.e. (V), as well as in the salts of 2‐thiobarbituric acid, i.e. (VI) and (VII). In the crystal structures of 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine, i.e. (I)–(IV), R22(8) N—H…N hydrogen‐bond motifs are preferred and, in two structures, additional R32(8) patterns were observed.  相似文献

The reaction between K(1‐C5H9C9H6) and anhydrous LnCl3 (Ln=Sm, Yb) in the molar ratio of 2:1 in THF with subsequent treatment by Na‐K alloy afforded (1‐C5H9C9H6)2Ln‐(THF)n(Ln=Sm, n=1; Ln=Yb, n=2), while the reaction of Sml2 with K(1‐C5H9C9H6) in the molar ratio of 1:2 in THF gave the anionic complex K(1‐C5H9C9H6)3Sm(THF)3. The X‐ray structure of (1‐C5H9C9H6)2Yb(THF)2 showed that central metal Yb is coordinated by two cyclopentadienyl rings of 1‐cyclopentylindenyls and two oxygen atoms from two tetrahydrofuran molecules to form pseudo‐tetrahedral coordinate geometry. All these complexes are active for the polymerization of acrylonitrile.  相似文献

It is well known that pyrimidin‐4‐one derivatives are able to adopt either the 1H‐ or the 3H‐tautomeric form in (co)crystals, depending on the coformer. As part of ongoing research to investigate the preferred hydrogen‐bonding patterns of active pharmaceutical ingredients and their model systems, 2‐amino‐6‐chloropyrimidin‐4‐one and 2‐amino‐5‐bromo‐6‐methylpyrimidin‐4‐one have been cocrystallized with several coformers and with each other. Since Cl and Br atoms both have versatile possibilities to interact with the coformers, such as via hydrogen or halogen bonds, their behaviour within the crystal packing was also of interest. The experiments yielded five crystal structures, namely 2‐aminopyridin‐1‐ium 2‐amino‐6‐chloro‐4‐oxo‐4H‐pyrimidin‐3‐ide–2‐amino‐6‐chloropyrimidin‐4(3H)‐one (1/3), C5H7N2+·C4H3ClN3O·3C4H4ClN3O, (Ia), 2‐aminopyridin‐1‐ium 2‐amino‐6‐chloro‐4‐oxo‐4H‐pyrimidin‐3‐ide–2‐amino‐6‐chloropyrimidin‐4(3H)‐one–2‐aminopyridine (2/10/1), 2C5H7N2+·2C4H3ClN3O·10C4H4ClN3O·C5H6N2, (Ib), the solvent‐free cocrystal 2‐amino‐5‐bromo‐6‐methylpyrimidin‐4(3H)‐one–2‐amino‐5‐bromo‐6‐methylpyrimidin‐4(1H)‐one (1/1), C5H6BrN3O·C5H6BrN3O, (II), the solvate 2‐amino‐5‐bromo‐6‐methylpyrimidin‐4(3H)‐one–2‐amino‐5‐bromo‐6‐methylpyrimidin‐4(1H)‐one–N‐methylpyrrolidin‐2‐one (1/1/1), C5H6BrN3O·C5H6BrN3O·C5H9NO, (III), and the partial cocrystal 2‐amino‐5‐bromo‐6‐methylpyrimidin‐4(3H)‐one–2‐amino‐5‐bromo‐6‐methylpyrimidin‐4(1H)‐one–2‐amino‐6‐chloropyrimidin‐4(3H)‐one (0.635/1/0.365), C5H6BrN3O·C5H6BrN3O·C4H4ClN3O, (IV). All five structures show R22(8) hydrogen‐bond‐based patterns, either by synthon 2 or by synthon 3, which are related to the Watson–Crick base pairs.  相似文献

The title salts, 4‐chloroanilinium hydrogen phthalate (PCAHP), C6H7ClN+·C8H5O4, 2‐hydroxyanilinium hydrogen phthalate (2HAHP), C6H8NO+·C8H5O4, and 3‐hydroxyanilinium hydrogen phthalate (3HAHP), C6H8NO+·C8H5O4, all crystallize in the space group P21/c. The asymmetric unit of 2HAHP contains two independent ion pairs. The hydrogen phthalate ions of 2HAHP and 3HAHP show a short intramolecular O—H...O hydrogen bond, with O...O distances ranging from 2.3832 (15) to 2.3860 (14) Å. N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds, together with short C—H...O contacts in PCAHP and 3HAHP, generate extended hydrogen‐bond networks. PCAHP forms a two‐dimensional supramolecular sheet extending in the (100) plane, whereas 2HAHP has a supramolecular chain running parallel to the [100] direction and 3HAHP has a two‐dimensional network extending parallel to the (001) plane.  相似文献

Four crystal structures of 3‐cyano‐6‐hydroxy‐4‐methyl‐2‐pyridone (CMP), viz. the dimethyl sulfoxide monosolvate, C7H6N2O2·C2H6OS, (1), the N,N‐dimethylacetamide monosolvate, C7H6N2O2·C4H9NO, (2), a cocrystal with 2‐amino‐4‐dimethylamino‐6‐methylpyrimidine (as the salt 2‐amino‐4‐dimethylamino‐6‐methylpyrimidin‐1‐ium 5‐cyano‐4‐methyl‐6‐oxo‐1,6‐dihydropyridin‐2‐olate), C7H13N4+·C7H5N2O2, (3), and a cocrystal with N,N‐dimethylacetamide and 4,6‐diamino‐2‐dimethylamino‐1,3,5‐triazine [as the solvated salt 2,6‐diamino‐4‐dimethylamino‐1,3,5‐triazin‐1‐ium 5‐cyano‐4‐methyl‐6‐oxo‐1,6‐dihydropyridin‐2‐olate–N,N‐dimethylacetamide (1/1)], C5H11N6+·C7H5N2O2·C4H9NO, (4), are reported. Solvates (1) and (2) both contain the hydroxy group in a para position with respect to the cyano group of CMP, acting as a hydrogen‐bond donor and leading to rather similar packing motifs. In cocrystals (3) and (4), hydrolysis of the solvent molecules occurs and an in situ nucleophilic aromatic substitution of a Cl atom with a dimethylamino group has taken place. Within all four structures, an R22(8) N—H...O hydrogen‐bonding pattern is observed, connecting the CMP molecules, but the pattern differs depending on which O atom participates in the motif, either the ortho or para O atom with respect to the cyano group. Solvents and coformers are attached to these arrangements via single‐point O—H...O interactions in (1) and (2) or by additional R44(16) hydrogen‐bonding patterns in (3) and (4). Since the in situ nucleophilic aromatic substitution of the coformers occurs, the possible Watson–Crick C–G base‐pair‐like arrangement is inhibited, yet the cyano group of the CMP molecules participates in hydrogen bonds with their coformers, influencing the crystal packing to form chains.  相似文献

Cation‐radicals and dications corresponding to hydrogen atom adducts to N‐terminus‐protonated Nα‐glycylphenylalanine amide (Gly‐Phe‐NH2) are studied by combined density functional theory and Møller‐Plesset perturbational computations (B3‐MP2) as models for electron‐capture dissociation of peptide bonds and elimination of side‐chain groups in gas‐phase peptide ions. Several structures are identified as local energy minima including isomeric aminoketyl cation‐radicals, and hydrogen‐bonded ion‐radicals, and ylid‐cation‐radical complexes. The hydrogen‐bonded complexes are substantially more stable than the classical aminoketyl structures. Dissociations of the peptide N? Cα bonds in aminoketyl cation‐radicals are 18–47 kJ mol?1 exothermic and require low activation energies to produce ion‐radical complexes as stable intermediates. Loss of the side‐chain benzyl group is calculated to be 44 kJ mol?1 endothermic and requires 68 kJ mol?1 activation energy. Rice‐Ramsperger‐Kassel‐Marcus (RRKM) and transition‐state theory (TST) calculations of unimolecular rate constants predict fast preferential N? Cα bond cleavage resulting in isomerization to ion‐molecule complexes, while dissociation of the Cα? CH2C6H5 bond is much slower. Because of the very low activation energies, the peptide bond dissociations are predicted to be fast in peptide cation‐radicals that have thermal (298 K) energies and thus behave ergodically. A centrosymmetric and short O—H?O hydrogen bond was found in isomorphic crystals of potassium hydrogen trans‐glutaconate monohydrate (potassium hydrogen trans‐pent‐2‐ene‐1,5‐dioate, K+·C5H5O4?·H2O), (I), and rubidium hydrogen trans‐glutaconate monohydrate (rubidium hydrogen trans‐pent‐2‐ene‐1,5‐dioate, Rb+·C5H5O4?·H2O), (II). The O?O distance at room temperature is 2.444 (3) Å in (I), and 2.417 (4) Å in (II). The O?O distance for (I) showed no significant decrease at low temperatures.  相似文献

In order to study the preferred hydrogen‐bonding pattern of 6‐amino‐2‐thiouracil, C4H5N3OS, (I), crystallization experiments yielded five different pseudopolymorphs of (I), namely the dimethylformamide disolvate, C4H5N3OS·2C3H7NO, (Ia), the dimethylacetamide monosolvate, C4H5N3OS·C4H9NO, (Ib), the dimethylacetamide sesquisolvate, C4H5N3OS·1.5C4H9NO, (Ic), and two different 1‐methylpyrrolidin‐2‐one sesquisolvates, C4H5N3OS·1.5C5H9NO, (Id) and (Ie). All structures contain R21(6) N—H...O hydrogen‐bond motifs. In the latter four structures, additional R22(8) N—H...O hydrogen‐bond motifs are present stabilizing homodimers of (I). No type of hydrogen bond other than N—H...O is observed. According to a search of the Cambridge Structural Database, most 2‐thiouracil derivatives form homodimers stabilized by an R22(8) hydrogen‐bonding pattern, with (i) only N—H...O, (ii) only N—H...S or (iii) alternating pairs of N—H...O and N—H...S hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The ethylammonium and diethylammonium ions link the dimers through N—H?O hydrogen bonds, forming a three‐dimensional hydrogen‐bond network in (I) and a one‐dimensional chain in (II).  相似文献

Six derivatives of 4‐amino‐1,5‐dimethyl‐2‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazol‐3‐one (4‐aminoantipyrine), C11H13N3O, (I), have been synthesized and structurally characterized to investigate the changes in the observed hydrogen‐bonding motifs compared to the original 4‐aminoantipyrine. The derivatives were synthesized from the reactions of 4‐aminoantipyrine with various aldehyde‐, ketone‐ and ester‐containing molecules, producing (Z)‐methyl 3‐[(1,5‐dimethyl‐3‐oxo‐2‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl)amino]but‐2‐enoate, C16H19N3O3, (II), (Z)‐ethyl 3‐[(1,5‐dimethyl‐3‐oxo‐2‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl)amino]but‐2‐enoate, C17H21N3O3, (III), ethyl 2‐[(1,5‐dimethyl‐3‐oxo‐2‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl)amino]cyclohex‐1‐enecarboxylate, C20H25N3O3, (IV), (Z)‐ethyl 3‐[(1,5‐dimethyl‐3‐oxo‐2‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl)amino]‐3‐phenylacrylate, C22H23N3O3, (V), 2‐cyano‐N‐(1,5‐dimethyl‐3‐oxo‐2‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl)acetamide, C14H14N4O2, (VI), and (E)‐methyl 4‐{[(1,5‐dimethyl‐3‐oxo‐2‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl)amino]methyl}benzoate, C20H19N3O3, (VII). The asymmetric units of all these compounds have one molecule on a general position. The hydrogen bonding in (I) forms chains of molecules via intermolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonds around a crystallographic sixfold screw axis. In contrast, the formation of enamines for all derived compounds except (VII) favours the formation of a six‐membered intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen‐bonded ring in (II)–(V) and an intermolecular N—H...O hydrogen bond in (VI), whereas there is an intramolecular C—H...O hydrogen bond in the structure of imine (VII). All the reported compounds, except for (II), feature π–π interactions, while C—H...π interactions are observed in (II), C—H...O interactions are observed in (I), (III), (V) and (VI), and a C—O...π interaction is observed in (II).  相似文献
