Results on the lowest-order hadronic vacuum polarization contribution to the muon magnetic anomaly are presented.They are based on the latest published experimental data used as input to the dispersion integral.Thus recent results on τ→ντππ0 decays from Belle and on e+e-annihilation to π+π-from BABAR and KLOE are included.The new data,together with improved isospin-breaking corrections for τ decays,result into a much better consistency among the different results.A discrepancy between the Standard Model prediction and the direct g-2 measurement is found at the level of 3σ.  相似文献

Recent results on radiative K^± decays from the NA48/2 experiment are reported. From the full NA48/2 data set, about a million K^±→π^±π^γ decays were reconstructed. Based on this sample, the first measurement of the interference between direct photon emission and inner bremsstrahlung in K^±→π^±π^γ decays was performed. Stringent limits on CP violation in this decay were also set. In addition, a precise measurement of the branching fraction of K^±→π^±γγ is presented. This measurement was based on a data sample of more than 1000 event candidates. Also the related decay K^±→π^±e^+e^-γ has first been observed. Results of the measurement of the decay rate and the decay parameter 5 are summarized.  相似文献

Using the form factors from light-cone sum rules, we study the branching ratios and forward-backward asymmetries (FBAs) of the exclusive decays Bu^+→π^+e^+e^- and Bu^+ →ρ^+e^+e^- (e= e,μ) in the standard model (SM) and the top quark two-Higgs-doublet model (T2HDM). From the numerical results, we find that the new physics contributions cannot provide very large enhancement to the branching ratios and the theoretical predictions are in good agreement with the SM ones. The T2HDM effects on FBAs of these decays are small. Precision measurements of the dilepton invariant mass distributions, especially in the lower dilepton mass region, and the FBAs in the decays Bu^+ → π^+ (ρ^+ )e^+ e^- will greatly help in discriminating among the SM and the new physics models.  相似文献

We calculate the D s 1 (2536) ^+ decays into D*K channels,including the decay D s 1 (2536) + → D + π-K + through a virtual D*0 in a constituent quark model.Widths and S/D amplitudes ratio are in agreement with the recent Belle and BABAR data,being the results sensitive to 1 P 1 and 3 P 1 mixture.  相似文献

The generalized liquid drop model (GLDM) is extended to the region around deformed shell closure ^270Hs by taking into account the excitation energy EI+ of the residual daughter nucleus and the centrifugal potential energy Vcen(r). The branching ratios of a decays from the ground state of a parent nucleus to the ground state 0^+ of its deformed daughter nucleus and to the first excited state 2^+ are calculated in the framework of the GLDM. The results support the proposal that a measurement of a spectroscopy is a feasible method to extract information on nuclear deformation of superheavy nuclei around the deformed nucleus ^270Hs.  相似文献

Based on the theoretical models for light nuclei, the calculations of reaction cross sections and the angular distributions for d +^8Li reaction are performed. Since all of the particle emissions are from the compound nucleus to the discrete levels, the angular momentum coupling effect in pre-equilibrium mechanism is taken into account. The three- body break-up process and the recoil effect are involved. The theoretical calculated results are compared to existing experimental data.  相似文献

We describe some recent results on isospin breaking corrections which are of relevance for predictions of the leading order hadronic contribution to the muon anomalous magnetic moment aμ^had.LO when using τ lepton data. When these corrections are applied to the new combined data on the π^±π^0 spectral function, the prediction for aμ^had.LO based on τ lepton data gets closer to the one obtained using e^+e^- data.  相似文献

We study the constraint on deceleration parameter q from the recent SNela Gold dataset and observational Hubble data by using a model-independent deceleration parameter q(z) = 1/2 - a/(1 + z)^b under the flve-dimensional bounce cosmological model. For the cases of SNeIa Gold dataset, Hubble data, and their combination, the present results show that the constraints on transition redshift ZT are 0.35-0.07^+0.14,0.68-0.58^+1.47,and 0.55-0.09^+0.18 with 1σ errors,respectively.  相似文献

The decays of J/ψ → μ^+μ^- and J/ψ → e^+e^- are studied by Monte-Carlo simulation, based on the Beijing Spectrometer (BES)Ⅲ offtine software system. The methods of determination of the J/ψ event number via J/ψ → μ^+μ^- and J/ψ → e^+e^- are presented, respectively. These methods can be used to determine the J/ψ event number for the coming BESⅢ J/ψ data sample.  相似文献

The helicity amplitudes for the processes of e^+e^- →J/ψ→γηc→γYY(Y: hyperon) are presented, together with the joint angular distributions for ηc decays into ∧∧,∑^0 ∑^0, and [1]-[1]+. The sensitivities to measure the hyperon decay parameters in these decays are evaluated based on the helicity amplitudes. The prospects to test the Bell inequality in experiment using the decay of ηc→∧∧ are discussed.  相似文献

Status of KLOE-2     
In a few months the KLOE-2 detector is expected to start data taking at the upgraded DAФNE φ-factory of INFN Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati. It aims to collect 25 fb^-1 at the φ(1020) peak, and about 5 fb^-1 in the energy region between 1 and 2.5 GeV. We review the status and physics program of the project.  相似文献

We present a precise BABAR measurement on the cross section of the process e^+e^- →π^+π^-(γ) from threshold to an energy of 3 GeV with the initial state radiation (ISR) technique, using 232 fb^-1 of data collected with the BABAR detector at e^+e^- center-of-mass energies near 10.58 GeV. The ISR luminosity is determined from a study of the leptonic process e^+e^- →μ^+μ^-γ(γ). The leading-order hadronic contribution to the muon magnetic anomaly calculated using the ππ cross section measured from threshold to 1.8 GeV is (514.1± 2.2(stat) ± 3.1(syst)) × 10^-10.  相似文献

We show that a VMD based theoretical input allows for a significantly improved accuracy for the hadronic vacuum polarization of the photon which contributes to the theoretical estimate of the muon g-2. We also show that the only experimental piece of information in the τ decay which cannot be accounted for within this VMD framework is the accepted value for Br(τ→ππvτ), while the T spectum lineshape is in agreement with expectations from e^+e^- annihilations.  相似文献

The BABAR experiment has now completed data taking and with an integrated luminosity of 531 fb^-1 of e^+e^- collision data has recorded some 480 million tau-pair events. Various studies of suppressed, rare and forbidden decays of the tau have been conducted, including searches for high-multiplicity decays, for second-class hadronic weak currents, and for lepton-flavour violation.  相似文献

We study vacuum of QCD in this work. The structure of non-local quark vacuum condensate, values of various local quark and gluon vacuum condensates, quark-gluon mixed vacuum condensate, quark and gluon virtuality in QCD vacuum state, quark dynamical mass and susceptibility of QCD vacuum state to external field are predicted by use of the solutions of Dyson-Schwinger equations in "rainbow" approximation with a modeling gluon propagator and three different sets of quark-quark interaction parameters. Our theoretical predictions are in good agreement with the correspondent empirical values used widely in literature, and many other theoretical calculations. The quark propagator and self-energy functions are also obtained from the numerical solutions of Dyson Schwinger equations. This work is centrally important for studying non-perturbative QCD, and has many important applications both in particle and nuclear physics.  相似文献

A maximum value for the magnetic field is determined, which provides the full compensation of the positronium rest mass by the binding energy in the maximum symmetry state and disappearance of the energy gap separating the electron-positron system from the vacuum. The compensation becomes possible owing to the falling to the center phenomenon. The maximum magnetic field may be related to the vacuum and describe its structure.  相似文献

Based on the Husimi operator in pure state form introduced by Fan et al., which is a squeezed coherent state projector, and the technique of integration within an ordered product (IWOP) of operators, as well as the entangled state representations, we obtain the Husimi functions of the excited squeezed vacuum states (ESVS) and two marginal distributions of the Husimi functions of the ESVS.  相似文献
