保持算子乘积投影的线性映射

设B(H)是复Hilbert空间H上的有界线性算子全体且dim H≥2.本文证明了B(H)上的线性满射φ保持两个算子乘积非零投影性的充分必要条件是存在B(H)中的酉算子U以及复常数λ满足λ~2=1,使得φ(X)=λU~*XU,(?)X∈B(H).同时也得到了线性映射保持两个算子Jordan三乘积非零投影的充分必要条件.

Linear Maps Preserving Operators of Local Spectral Radius Zero

Let X be a complex Banach space and let B(X){\mathcal{B}(X)} be the space of all bounded linear operators on X. For x ? X{x \in X} and T ? B(X){T \in \mathcal{B}(X)}, let r_T(x) = limsup_{n ? ￥} || Tⁿx|| ^1/n{r_{T}(x) =\limsup_{n \rightarrow \infty} \| T^{n}x\| ^{1/n}} denote the local spectral radius of T at x. We prove that if j: B(X) ? B(X){\varphi : \mathcal{B}(X) \rightarrow \mathcal{B}(X)} is linear and surjective such that for every x ? X{x \in X} we have r _T (x) = 0 if and only if r_j(T)(x) = 0{r_{\varphi(T)}(x) = 0}, there exists then a nonzero complex number c such that j(T) = cT{\varphi(T) = cT} for all T ? B(X){T \in \mathcal{B}(X) }. We also prove that if Y is a complex Banach space and j:B(X) ? B(Y){\varphi :\mathcal{B}(X) \rightarrow \mathcal{B}(Y)} is linear and invertible for which there exists B ? B(Y, X){B \in \mathcal{B}(Y, X)} such that for y ? Y{y \in Y} we have r _T (By) = 0 if and only if r_{j( T)} (y)=0{ r_{\varphi ( T) }(y)=0}, then B is invertible and there exists a nonzero complex number c such that j(T) = cB^-1TB{\varphi(T) =cB^{-1}TB} for all T ? B(X){T \in \mathcal{B}(X)}.

On Approximation Properties of Phillips Operators Preserving Exponential Functions

In the present paper, we study a modification of the Phillips operators, which reproduces constant and the exponential functions. We obtain the moments using the concept of moment-generating function for the Phillips operators. Here we discuss a uniform convergence estimate for this modified forms. Also some direct estimates, which also involve the asymptotic-type result are established.

On Operators on Polynomials Preserving Real-Rootedness and the Neggers-Stanley Conjecture

We refine a technique used in a paper by Schur on real-rooted polynomials. This amounts to an extension of a theorem of Wagner on Hadamard products of Pólya frequency sequences. We also apply our results to polynomials for which the Neggers-Stanley Conjecture is known to hold. More precisely, we settle interlacing properties for E-polynomials of series-parallel posets and column-strict labelled Ferrers posets.

Linear Operators Preserving Symplectic Group over a Field Consisting of at Least Four Elements

Suppose F is a field consisting of at least four elements. Let Mn(F) and SP2n(F) be the linear space of all n×n matrices and the group of all 2n×2n symplectic matrices over F, respectively. A linear operator L:M2n(F)→M2n(F) is said to preserve the symplectic group if L(SP2n(F))=SP2n(F). It is shown that L is an invertible preserver of the symplectic group if and only if L takes the form (i) L(X)=QPXP-1 for any X∈M2n(F) or (ii) L(X)=QPXTP-1 for any X∈M2n(F), where Q∈SP2n(F) and P is a generalized symplectic matrix. This generalizes the result derived by Pierce in Canad J. Math., 3(1975), 715-724.     

Height Preserving Minimal Interval Extensions

We consider minimal interval extensions of a partial order which preserve the height of each vertex. We show that minimal interval extensions having this property bijectively correspond to the maximal chains of a sublattice of the lattice of maximal antichains of the given order. We show that they also correspond to the set of minimal interval extensions of a certain extension of this order.
