The valence electronic structures of [Cu(hfac)L] (hfac = CF(3)C(O)CHC(O)CF(3); L = PMe(3), CNMe), [Ag(hfac)(PMe(3))], and [Ag(fod)(PEt(3))] (fod = t-BuC(O)CHC(O)C(3)F(7)) have been studied by recording their photoelectron spectra and by performing Xalpha-SW calculations on the model compounds [M(dfm)(PH(3))] (dfm = HC(O)CHC(O)H; M = Cu, Ag) and [Cu(dfm)(CNH)]. For the copper complexes, the spectra were recorded between 21 and 160 eV using He I, He II and synchrotron radiation; while, for the silver complexes, He I and He II, spectra were recorded. Assignments were made by comparison of experimental and calculated values of band energies, and, for the copper complexes, by similar comparison of experimental and theoretical branching ratios as a function of photon energy. For the silver complexes, a more limited comparison of band intensities in the He I and He II spectra was made. In analogous compounds, it is shown that the binding energies follow the sequence Ag 4d > Cu 3d, with an energy difference of almost 2 eV.  相似文献

The new copper(I) rhenates, CuReO4(pyz) (I) and Cu3ReO4(q6c)2 (II) (pyz = pyrazine; q6c = quinoline-6-carboxylate), were synthesized by hydrothermal methods at 140-150 degrees C, and their structures determined via single-crystal X-ray diffraction (I, P21/n, No. 14, Z = 4, a = 7.972(1) A, b = 11.928(2) A, c = 8.430(1) A, beta = 102.161(2) degrees ; II, P21, No. 4, Z = 2, a = 8.253(2) A, b = 6.841(2) A, c = 18.256(6) A, beta = 101.37(2) degrees ) and characterized by thermogravimetric analyses and UV-vis diffuse reflectance. The structure of I contains 'CuReO4' layers that are pillared through bridging pyrazine ligands via the Cu sites, while the structure of II is polar and contains chains of 'Cu2ReO4' that are condensed into layers by coordination to linear 'Cu(q6c)2' bridges between the chains. In contrast to air-sensitive CuReO4, both hybrid analogues are stable in air owing to a stabilization of the Cu1+ oxidation state by N-donating ligands, but decompose upon heating with the removal of the organic ligands, which for I yields crystalline CuReO4. UV-vis diffuse reflectance measurements and electronic structure calculations on all three copper perrhenates, I, II, and CuReO4, show that each exhibits an optical band gap of approximately 2.1-2.2 eV, with conduction and valence band levels that are primarily derived from the Re d0 and Cu d10 orbitals, respectively, and mixed with O p-orbital contributions. In contrast to the silver rhenates, which have relatively lower energy Ag d10 orbitals, the inclusion of the organic ligands into the structures has only a very minor effect ( approximately 0.1 eV) on the band gap size. The optical absorptions, in combination with the air-stable open-framework layered structures, illustrate that heterometallic Cu1+/Re7+ oxides can be promising candidates for investigating in visible-light photocatalytic reactions.  相似文献

Hydrothermal reactions of 1,2,4-triazole with the appropriate copper salt have provided eight structurally unique members of the Cu/triazolate/X system, with X = F-, Cl-, Br-, I-, OH-, and SO4(2-). The anionic components X of [Cu3(trz)4(H2O)3]F2 (1) and [Cu6(trz)4Br]Cu4Br4(OH) (4) do not participate in the framework connectivity, acting as isolated charge-compensating counterions. In contrast, the anionic subunits X of [Cu(II)Cu(I)(trz)Cl2] (2), [Cu6(trz)4Br2] (3), [Cu(II)Cu(I)(trz)Br2] (5), [Cu3(trz)I2] (6), [Cu6(II)Cu2(I)(trz)6(SO4)3(OH)2(H2O)] (8), and [Cu4(trz)3]OH.7.5H2O (9.7.5H2O) are intimately involved in the three-dimensional connectivities. The structure of [Cu(II)Cu(I)(trz)2][Cu3(I)I4] (7) is constructed from two independent substructures: a three-dimensional cationic {Cu2(trz)2}n(n+) component and {Cu3I4}n(n-) chains. Curiously, four of the structures are mixed-valence Cu(I)/Cu(II) materials: 2, 5, 7, and 8. The only Cu(II) species is 1, while 3, 4, 6, and 9.7.5H2O exhibit exclusively Cu(I) sites. The magnetic properties of the Cu(II) species 1 and of the mixed-valence materials 5, 7, 8, and the previously reported [Cu3(trz)3OH][Cu2Br4] have been studied. The temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility of 1 conforms to a simple isotropic model above 13 K, while below this temperature, there is weak ferromagnetic ordering due to spin canting of the antiferromagnetically coupled trimer units. Compounds 5 and 7 exhibit magnetic properties consistent with a one-dimensional chain model. The magnetic data for 8 were fit over the temperature range 2-300 K using the molecular field approximation with J = 204 cm(-1), g = 2.25, and zJ' = -38 cm(-1). The magnetic properties of [Cu3(trz)3OH][Cu2Br4] are similar to those of 8, as anticipated from the presence of similar triangular {Cu3(trz)3(mu3-OH)}(2+) building blocks. The Cu(I) species 3, 4, 6, and 9 as well as the previously reported [Cu(5)(trz)3Cl2] exhibit luminescence thermochromism. The spectra are characterized by broad emissions, long lifetimes, and significant Stokes' shifts, characteristic of phosphorescence.  相似文献

Reactions of two hydrated cupric salts (CuCl(2).2H(2)O and Cu(ClO(4))(2).6H(2)O) with three azopyridyl ligands, viz. 2-[(arylamino)phenylazo]pyridine [aryl = phenyl (HL(1a)), p-tolyl (HL(1b)), and 2-thiomethyl phenyl (HL(1c))], 2-[2-(pyridylamino)phenylazo]pyridine (HL(2)), and 2-[3-(pyridylamino)phenylazo]pyridine (HL(3)), afford the mononuclear [CuClL(1)] (1), dinuclear [Cu(2)X(2)L(2)(2)](n)()(+) (X = Cl, H(2)O, ClO(4); n = 0, 1; 2, 3), and polynuclear [CuClL(3)](n)() (4) complexes, respectively, in high yields. Representative X-ray structures of these complexes 1-4 are reported. X-ray structure analysis of 4 reveals an infinite 1D zigzag chain that adopts a saw-tooth-like structure. Variable-temperature cryomagnetic measurements (2-300 K) on the complexes 2-4 have revealed weak magnetic interactions between the copper centers with J values -1.04, 9.88, and -1.31 cm(-1), respectively. Positive ion ESI mass spectra of the soluble complexes 1-3 are studied which provide the evidence for the integrity of the complexes also in solution. Visible range spectra of the complexes 1-3 in solution consist of intense and broad transitions in the range 700-600 nm. The solid-state spectrum of the insoluble copper complex 4, on the other hand, shows a structured band near 700 nm. The intensities of the transitions of the dinuclear complexes are much higher than those of the corresponding mononuclear copper complexes. Redox properties of the present copper complexes are reported. Notably, the dinuclear complex, 3, displays two successive redox processes: Cu(II)Cu(II) right harpoon over left harpoon Cu(II)Cu(I) right harpoon over left harpoon Cu(I)Cu(I). It catalyzes aerial oxidation of L-ascorbic acid. The catalytic cycle is most effective up to H(2)A/3 (H(2)A = L-ascorbic acid) molar ratio of 20:1.  相似文献

The crystal, electronic, and magnetic structures of the cobalt oxyselenide La(2)Co(2)O(3)Se(2) were investigated through powder neutron diffraction measurements and band structure calculations. This oxyselenide crystallizes in a tetragonal layered structure with space group I4/mmm. The Co ion is sixfold-coordinated by two oxide ions and four selenide ions, and the face-sharing CoO(2)Se(4) octahedra form Co(2)OSe(2) layers. The band structure calculations revealed that the Co ion is in the divalent high-spin state. Rietveld analysis of the neutron diffraction profiles below 200 K demonstrated that the Co moments have a noncollinear antiferromagnetic structure with the propagation vector k = (?, ?, 0). The ordered magnetic moment was determined to be 3.5 μ(B) at 10 K, and the directions of the nearest-neighbor Co moments are orthogonal each other in the c plane.  相似文献

Two novel inorganic-organic hybrids constructed from Keggin-type polyanions and multinuclear copper clusters based on 1-H-1,2,3-benzotriazole (HBTA), [Cu(I)(8)(BTA)(4)(HBTA)(8)(SiMo(12)O(40))]·2H(2)O (1) and [Cu(II)(6)(OH)(4)(BTA)(4)(SiW(12)O(40))(H(2)O)(6)]·6H(2)O (2), have been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analyses, IR spectra and thermogravimetric (TG) analyses. In compound 1, eight Cu(I) ions were linked by twelve HBTA/BTA ligands to form an octanuclear Cu(I) cluster, which is connected by SiMo(12)O(40)(4-) anion with two bridging O atoms and two terminal O atoms to construct a one-dimensional (1D) wave-like chain. The octanuclear copper unit represents the maximum subunit linked just by amine ligands in the POMs system. In 2, four BTA ligands linked five Cu(II) ions constructing a pentanuclear "porphyrin-like" subunit, which is connected by another Cu(II) ion to form a 1D metal-organic band. The SiW(12)O(40)(4-) polyanions as tetradentate inorganic linkages extend the 1D band into a two-dimensional (2D) network with (8(3))(2)(8(5)·10) topology. To the best of our knowledge, compounds 1 and 2 represent the first examples of inorganic-organic hybrids based on metal-HBTA multinuclear subunits and polyoxometalates. The photocatalysis and electrochemical properties have been investigated in this paper.  相似文献

Four hybrid inorganic-metalorganic compounds containing copper(II)-monosubstituted Keggin polyoxotungstates, K3[Cu(I)(4,4'-bpy)]3[SiW11Cu(II)O39].11H2O (1), (paraquat)3[SiW11Cu(II)O39].6H2O (2; paraquat = N,N'-dimethyl-4,4'-bipyridinium), K3[Cu(I)(4,4'-bpy)]3[GeW11Cu(II)O39].11H2O (3), and Na2[Cu(I)(4,4'-bpy)]3[PW11Cu(II)O39(H2O)].4H2O (4), have been synthesized under autogenous pressure hydrothermal conditions and characterized by elemental analysis and infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). The crystal structures of 1, 2, and 4 have been established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal packings are characterized by the presence of monodimensional extended entities: either the polymeric polyanion [SiW11CuO39]n(6n-) (2), the cationic [Cu(4,4'-bpy)]n(n+) chain (4), or both simultaneously as in compound 1, where the inorganic and metalorganic sublattices are mutually perpendicular. To asses the influence of packing in the copper(I) complex structural diversity found in compounds 1 and 4, a search in the CSD database has been performed and the resulting geometrical features have been analyzed and compared with experimental crystallographic data and DFT calculations.  相似文献

Single crystal and bulk powder samples of the quaternary lanthanum copper oxysulfides La5Cu6.33O4S7 and La5Cu6O4S7 have been prepared by means of high-temperature sealed-tube reactions and spark plasma sintering, respectively. In the structure of La 5Cu6.33O4S7, Cu atoms tie together the fluorite-like (2)infinity[La5O4S(5+)] and antifluorite-like (2) infinity[Cu6S6(5-)] layers of La5Cu6O4S7. The optical band gap, E g, of 2.0 eV was deduced from both diffuse reflectance spectra on a bulk sample of La5Cu6O4S7 and for the (010) crystal face of a La 5Cu6.33O4S7 single crystal. Transport measurements at 298 K on a bulk sample of La 5Cu 6O 4S 7 indicated p-type metallic electrical conduction with sigma electrical =2.18 S cm(-1), whereas measurements on a La 5Cu6.33O4S7 single crystal led to sigma electrical =4.5 10(-3) S cm(-1) along [100] and to semiconducting behavior. In going from La 5Cu6O4S7 to La5Cu6.33O4S7, the disruption of the (2)infinity[Cu6S6(5-)] layer and the decrease in the overall Cu(2+)(3d(9)) concentration lead to a significant decrease in the electrical conductivity.  相似文献

The pentanuclear complex, Cu5(SIP)2(HSIP)2(H2O)18(H2O)5(H3SIP = 5-sulfoi-sophthalic acid), has been synthesized by the hydrothermal reaction of CuCl2 with NaH2SIP at 160 ℃, and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and IR spectrum.The crystal of the complex crystallizes in a triclinic system, space group P1-, with a = 7.0018(5), b = 11.9725(8), c = 19.0424(13) , α = 78.8540(10), β = 85.1710(10), γ = 83.6080(10)o, V = 1553.24(19) 3, Z = 1, C32H60O51S4Cu5, Mr = 1706.74, Dc = 1.825 g/cm3, μ = 1.937 mm-1, F(000) = 869, the final R = 0.0709 and wR = 0.1503 for 4235 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I).The five Cu2+ ions are connected by two symmetry-related tridentate SIP3-ligands and charge-balanced by two monodentate HSIP2-ligands, giving a discrete pentanuclear structure.The pentanuclear copper molecules are linked by hydrogen bonds to form a three-dimensional supramolecular structure.The temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility data revealed weak ferromagnetic magnetic interactions between the Cu2+ ions.  相似文献

The preparation, crystal structures and magnetic properties of the copper(II) complexes of formula [Cu(pyim)(tcm)(2)](n) (1), [Cu(bpy)(tcm)(2)](n) (2), [Cu(4)(bpz)(4)(tcm)(8)] (3), {[Cu(terpy)(tcm)].tcm}(n) (4) and {[Cu(2)(tppz)(tcm)(4)].3/2H(2)O}(n) (5) [pyim = 2-(2-pyridyl)imidazole, tcm = tricyanomethanide, bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, bpz = 2,2'-bipyrazine, terpy = 2,2':6',2'-terpyridine and tppz = 2,3,5,6-tetrakis(2-pyridyl)pyrazine] are reported. Complexes, 1, 2 and 4 are uniform copper(II) chains with single- (1 and 4) and double-(2) micro-1,5-tcm bridges with values of the intrachain copper-copper separation of 7.489(1) (1), 7.520(1) and 7.758(1) (2) and 7.469(1) A (4). Each copper atom in 1, 2 and 4 is five-coordinate with bidentate pyim (1)/bpy (2) and tridentate terpy (4) ligands and nitrile-nitrogen atoms from bridging (1,2 and 4) and terminal (1) tcm groups building a distorted square pyramidal surrounding. The structure of 3 is made up of neutral centrosymmetric rectangles of (2,2'-bipyrazine)copper(II) units at the corners, the edges being built by single- and double-micro-1,5-tcm bridges with copper-copper separations of 7.969(1) and 7.270(1) A, respectively. Five- and six-coordinated copper atoms with distorted square pyramidal and elongated octahedral environments occur in . Compound 5 is a neutral copper(II) chain with regular alternating bis-tridentate tppz and double micro-1,5-tcm bridges, the intrachain copper-copper distances being 6.549(7) and 7.668(1) A, respectively. The two crystallographically independent copper atoms in 5 have an elongated octahedral geometry with three tppz nitrogen atoms and a nitrile-nitrogen atom from a bridging tcm group in the equatorial positions, and two nitrile nitrogen atoms from a terminal and a bridging tcm ligand occupying the axial sites. The investigation of the magnetic properies of 1-5 in the temperature range 1.9-295 K has shown the occurrence of weak ferro- [J = +0.11(1) cm(-1) (2)] and antiferromagnetic interactions [J = -0.093(1) (1), -0.083(1) (4), -0.04(1) and 1.21(1) cm(-1) (3)] across the micro-1,5-tcm bridges and intermediate antiferromagnetic coupling [-J = 37.4(1) cm(-1) (5)] through bis-tridentate tppz. The values of the magnetic interactions are analyzed through simple orbital symmetry considerations and compared with those previously reported for related systems.  相似文献

Investigation on variation of the electronic structure accompanying the electrochemical lithium insertion into the perovskite type oxide, (Li,La)TiO3, has been carried out by X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS). During the electrochemical lithium insertion, titanium ion reduced its oxidation state from Ti4+ to Ti3+, while La3+ does not contribute to the reduction reaction resulting from Ti K-edge and La L3-edge XAS, respectively. Furthermore, O K-edge XAS showed marked spectral changes with electrochemical lithium insertion, indicating the electronic structure around oxide ion affected by lithium insertion reaction. From the XAS measurement, we have concluded the variation observed in O K-edge XAS was related to the strong interaction with inserted Li ion. To confirm this, first-principles band calculations were performed for the perovskite structure before and after electrochemical lithium insertion. The calculated results showed that the electron originated from inserted Li transferred to neighboring oxide ion locally as well as to Ti ion. This may be due to local neutralization effect of Li to reduce the electrostatic interaction in the crystal.  相似文献

In this paper we report the crystal growth, structure determination, and magnetic properties of the 2H-perovskite related oxides, Sr(5)Co(4)O(12) and Sr(6)Co(5)O(15), as well as the charge disproportionation and associated phase transition of Sr(5)Co(4)O(12). Sr(5)Co(4)O(12) and Sr(6)Co(5)O(15) are the (m = 2, n = 3) and (m = 1, n = 1) members of the A(3m+3n)A'(n)B(3m+n)O(9m+6n) family, respectively. Sr(6)Co(5)O(15) crystallizes in the space group R32 with lattice parameters of a = 9.5020(10) ? and c = 12.379(8) ?. The structure solution shows that Sr(6)Co(5)O(15) is isostructural with Sr(6)Rh(5)O(15). Magnetic measurements do not indicate any long-range magnetic order, although the Weiss temperature of -248 K indicates the presence of dominant antiferromagnetic interactions. Sr(5)Co(4)O(12) crystallizes in the space group P-3c1 with lattice parameters of a = 9.4705(10) ? and c = 20.063(5) ? at room temperature. The single crystal structure solution revealed that the cobalt ions in the trigonal prismatic sites of Sr(5)Co(4)O(12) undergo a structural transition at ~170 K, where the cobalt atoms are in the center of the trigonal prisms below this temperature and move partially toward the faces above this temperature. This structure transition is accompanied by a change in the magnetic moment of the oxide and can be related to a valence disproportionation of the cobalt ions and a concomitant Jahn-Teller distortion. In addition, specific heat, Seebeck coefficient, electric conductivity, and magnetic measurements as well as bond valence sum calculations were carried out for Sr(5)Co(4)O(12). Sr(5)Co(4)O(12) exhibits strong magnetic anisotropy but no long-range magnetic order.  相似文献

The crystal structures and magnetic properties of two novel polyclusters {[Cu(3)(tci)(2)(H(2)O)(2)]·12H(2)O}(n) (1) and {[Cu(3)(tci)(2)(H(2)O)(2)]·6H(2)O}(n) (2) (tci = tris(2-carboxyethyl) isocyanurate) are investigated. The X-ray crystallographic analysis reveals that they contain interesting infinite alternating chains of dinuclear paddle-wheel copper and mononuclear copper units arranged in ABBA magnetism exchange mode. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements on the two polyclusters show strong antiferromagnetism couplings between copper ions with exchange interactions J = -181.4 cm(-1), zj' = -0.31 cm(-1) for 1, J = -170 cm(-1), zj' = -0.42 cm(-1) for 2. With the aim of studying magneto-structural correlation, we synthesized a three-dimensional polymer [Cu(3)(tci)(2)(py)(4)(H(2)O)(2)](n) (3) based on isolated dinuclear cluster and mononuclear copper units. Fitting the susceptibility data yielded J = -176.1 cm(-1), zj' = -0.084 cm(-1) for 3.  相似文献

1 INTRODUCTION There has been great and considerable interest in the study of copper nitrite complexes because they are relevant to the study of copper-containing enzymes involved in the denitrification process[1]; in particular, copper-nitrite complexes are potentially relevant to the nitrite reductases[2] (the enzyme from Achromobacter Cycloclastes) which convert NO2- to NO and/or N2O. Many attempts have been made to synthesize a variety of copper-nitrite complexes, in which the n…  相似文献

Two new trinuclear copper(II) complexes, [Cu(3)(μ(3)-OH)(daat)(Hdat)(2)(ClO(4))(2)(H(2)O)(3)](ClO(4))(2)·2H(2)O (1) and [Cu(3)(μ(3)-OH)(aaat)(3)(H(2)O)(3)](ClO(4))(2)·3H(2)O (2) (daat = 3,5-diacetylamino-1,2,4-triazolate, Hdat = 3,5-diamino-1,2,4-triazole, and aaat = 3-acetylamino-5-amino-1,2,4-triazolate), have been prepared from 1,2,4-triazole derivatives and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. The structures of 1 and 2 consist of cationic trinuclear copper(II) complexes with a Cu(3)OH core held by three N,N-triazole bridges between each pair of copper(II) atoms. The copper atoms are five-coordinate with distorted square-pyramidal geometries. The magnetic properties of 1 and 2 and those of five other related 1,2,4-triazolato tricopper(II) complexes with the same triangular structure (3-7) (whose crystal structures were already reported) have been investigated in the temperature range of 1.9-300 K. The formulas of 3-7 are [Cu(3)(μ(3)-OH)(aaat)(3)(H(2)O)(3)](NO(3))(2)·H(2)O (3), {[Cu(3)(μ(3)-OH)(aat)(3)(μ(3)-SO(4))]·6H(2)O}(n) (4), and [Cu(3)(μ(3)-OH)(aat)(3)A(H(2)O)(2)]A·xH(2)O [A = NO(3)(-) (5), CF(3)SO(3)(-) (6), or ClO(4)(-) (7); x = 0 or 2] (aat =3-acetylamino-1,2,4-triazolate). The magnetic and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) data have been analyzed by using the following isotropic and antisymmetric exchange Hamiltonian: H = -J[S(1)S(2) + S(2)S(3)] - j[S(1)S(3)] + G[S(1) × S(2) + S(2) × S(3) + S(1) × S(3)]. 1-7 exhibit strong antiferromagnetic coupling (values for both -J and -j in the range of 210-142 cm(-1)) and antisymmetric exchange (G varying from to 27 to 36 cm(-1)). At low temperatures, their EPR spectra display high-field (g < 2.0) signals indicating that the triangles present symmetry lower than equilateral and that the antisymmetric exchange is operative. A magneto-structural study showing a lineal correlation between the Cu-O-Cu angle of the Cu(3)OH core and the isotropic exchange parameters (J and j) has been conducted. Moreover, a model based on Moriya's theory that allows the prediction of the occurrence of antisymmetric exchange in the tricopper(II) triangles, via analysis of the overlap between the ground and excited states of the local Cu(II) ions, has been proposed. In addition, analytical expressions for evaluating both the isotropic and antisymmetric exchange parameters from the experimental magnetic susceptibility data of triangular complexes with local spins (S) of (1)/(2), (3)/(2), or (5)/(2) have been purposely derived. Finally, the magnetic and EPR results of this work are discussed and compared with those of other tricopper(II) triangles reported in the literature.  相似文献

Four mononuclear Cu(I) complexes of 2-(2'-pyridyl)benzimidazolylbenzene (pbb) with four different ancillary phosphine ligands PPh(3), bis[2-(diphenylphosphino)phenyl]ether (DPEphos), bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane (dppe), and bis(diphenylphosphinomethyl)diphenylborate (DPPMB) have been synthesized. The crystal structures of [Cu(pbb)(PPh(3))(2)][BF(4)] (1), [Cu(pbb)(dppe)][BF(4)] (2), [Cu(pbb)(DPEphos)][BF(4)] (3), and the neutral complex [Cu(pbb)(DPPMB)] (4) were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. The impact of the phosphine ligands on the structures of the copper(I) complexes was examined, revealing that the most significant impact of the phosphine ligands is on the P-Cu-P bond angle. The electronic and photophysical properties of the new complexes were examined by using UV-vis, fluorescence, and phosphorescence spectroscopies and electrochemical analysis. All four complexes display a weak MLCT absorption band that varies considerably with the phosphine ligand. At ambient temperature, no emission was observed for any of the complexes in solution. However, when doped into PMMA polymer (20 wt %), at ambient temperature, all four complexes emit light with a color ranging from green to red-orange, depending on the phosphine ligand. The emission of the new copper complexes has an exceptionally long decay lifetime (>200 micros). Ab initio MO calculations established that the lowest electronic transition in the copper(I) complexes is MLCT in nature. The electronic and photophysical properties of the new mononuclear Cu(I) complexes were compared with those of the corresponding polynuclear Cu(I) complexes based on the 2-(2'-dipyridyl)benzimidazolyl derivative ligands and the previously extensively studied phenanthroline-based Cu(I) complexes.  相似文献

Three malonato-bridged copper(II) complexes of the formulas [[Cu(H2O)3][Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)]]n (1), [[Cu(H2O)4]2[Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)]] [Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)2][[Cu(H2O)4][Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)2]] (2), and [Cu(H2O)4][Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)2] (3) (C3H2O4 = malonate dianion) have been prepared, and the structures of the two former have been solved by X-ray diffraction methods. The structure of compound 3 was already known. Complex 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pcab, Z = 8, with unit cell parameters of a = 10.339(1) A, b = 13.222(2) A, and c = 17.394(4) A. Complex 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2/c, Z = 4, with unit cell parameters of a = 21.100(4) A, b = 21.088(4) A, c = 14.007(2) A, and beta = 115.93(2) degrees. Complex 1 is a chain compound with a regular alternation of aquabis(malonato)copper(II) and triaquacopper(II) units developing along the z axis. The aquabis(malonato)copper(II) unit acts as a bridging ligand through two slightly different trans-carboxylato groups exhibiting an anti-syn coordination mode. The four carboxylate oxygens, in the basal plane, and the one water molecule, in the apical position, describe a distorted square pyramid around Cu1, whereas the same metal surroundings are observed around Cu2 but with three water molecules and one carboxylate oxygen building the equatorial plane and a carboxylate oxygen from another malonato filling the apical site. Complex 2 is made up of discrete mono-, di-, and trinuclear copper(II) complexes of the formulas [Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)2]2-, [[Cu(H2O)4] [Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)2]], and [[Cu(H2O)4]2[Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)]]2+, respectively, which coexist in a single crystal. The copper environment in the mononuclear unit is that of an elongated octahedron with four carboxylate oxygens building the equatorial plane and two water molecules assuming the axial positions. The neutral dinuclear unit contains two types of copper atoms, one that is six-coordinated, as in the mononuclear entity, and another that is distorted square pyramidal with four water molecules building the basal plane and a carboxylate oxygen in the apical position. The overall structure of this dinuclear entity is nearly identical to that of compound 3. Finally, the cationic trimer consists of an aquabis(malonato)copper(II) complex that acts as a bismonodentate ligand through two cis-carboxylato groups (anti-syn coordination mode) toward two tetraaqua-copper(II) terminal units. The environment of the copper atoms is distorted square pyramidal with four carboxylate oxygens (four water molecules) building the basal plane of the central (terminal) copper atom and a water molecule (a carboxylate oxygen) filling the axial position. The magnetic properties of 1-3 have been investigated in the temperature range 1.9-290 K. Overall, ferromagnetic behavior is observed in the three cases: two weak, alternating intrachain ferromagnetic interactions (J = 3.0 cm-1 and alpha J = 1.9 cm-1 with H = -J sigma i[S2i.S2i-1 + alpha S2i.S2i+1]) occur in 1, whereas the magnetic behavior of 2 is the sum of a magnetically isolated spin doublet and ferromagnetically coupled di- (J3 = 1.8 cm-1 from the magnetic study of the model complex 3) and trinuclear (J = 1.2 cm-1 with H = -J (S1.S2 + S1.S3) copper(II) units. The exchange pathway that accounts for the ferromagnetic coupling, through an anti-syn carboxylato bridge, is discussed in the light of the available magneto-structural data.  相似文献

According to X-ray single-crystal structure analysis, {[Cu(II)(en)2]2[Cu(I)2(CN)6]}[Cu(II)(en)2]2[Cu(I)(CN)3]2.2H2O contains copper in four different coordination environments: trigonal planar, square planar, square pyramidal and tetrahedral. The different coordination geometries of copper were investigated by quantum chemical calculations of model compounds, thus allowing to tentatively assign the different CN-bands in the IR spectrum. The thermolysis led to sub-microm sized rod-like copper(II) oxide particles.  相似文献
