Adducts of triphenyl phosphine, triphenyl arsine, and triphenyl stibine with silver(I) bromate have been synthesized and characterized both in solution ((1)H and ESI MS spectroscopy) and in the solid state (IR, single-crystal X-ray structure analysis). The triphenyl phosphine complexes have been also investigated by (31)P[(1)H] solution and (31)P cross-polarization magic-angle-spinning (CPMAS) NMR spectroscopy. The topology of the structures in the solid state was found to depend on the nature of EPh(3) and on the stoichiometric ratio AgBrO(3)/EPh(3). In AgBrO(3)/PPh(3) (1:1)(4) (1) and AgBrO(3)/PPh(3) (1:2) (2), the bromate is in the unfamiliar and hitherto structurally uncharacterized role of coordinating ligand, the complex having a mononuclear form in 2 and a less familiar tetrameric form in 1. In AgBrO(3)/AsPh(3) (1:4).CH(3)OH (7) and AgBrO(3)/SbPh(3) (1:4).C(2)H(5)OH (11), the cations are the familiar homoleptic [Ag(EPh(3))(4)](+) array with the bromate role simply that of counterion. The AgBrO(3)/AsPh(3) (1:2)(2).0.7"H(2)O" derivative (6) is binuclear L(2)Ag(mu-BrO(3))(2)AgL(2) with a four-membered ring core (L = AsPh(3)).  相似文献

Adducts of the ligand bis(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)methane (tz(2)(CH(2))) of the form AgX:tz(2)(CH(2)):ER(3):MeCN (1:1:1:x) (X = NO(3), R = Ph, E = P, As, or Sb, x = 1 or 2; X = NO(2), ClO(4), O(3)SCF(3), E = P, R = Ph, x = 0, 1 or 2; X = NO(3), ClO(4), E = P, R = cy, x = 1; X = ClO(4), E = As, R = Ph, x = 2) and AgNO(3):tz(2)(CH(2)):P(o-tolyl)(3) (2:2:1) have been synthesized and characterized in the solid state and in solution by analyses, spectral (IR, far-IR, (1)H and (13)C NMR, ESI MS data) data, and conductivity measurements. In the one-dimensional polymers (characterized by X-ray studies) AgNO(3):tz(2)(CH(2)):PPh(3):CH(3)CN (1:1:1:1), AgClO(4):tz(2)(CH(2)):PPh(3):CH(3)CN (1:1:1:2), AgNO(3):tz(2)(CH(2)):AsPh(3): CH(3)CN (1:1:1:2), and AgNO(3):tz(2)(CH(2)):SbPh(3):CH(3)CN (1:1:1:2), the silver atom can be regarded as four-coordinate, the tz(2)(CH(2)) ligands behaving as bridging groups rather than chelates, with no pair of ligands being dominant, quasi-trans, in their interactions. The AgNO(3):tz(2)(CH(2)):P(o-tolyl)(3) (2:2:1) adduct is a two-dimensional polymer containing two independent silver atoms, one four-coordinated unsymmetrically by a pair of triazolyl rings, one P(o-tolyl)(3), and a unidentate nitrate and the second by a quasi-symmetrical O(2)NO chelate and a pair of equivalent triazolyl rings.  相似文献

[PPh(4)][EI(4)] (E=As, Sb, Bi) salts were reacted with four and five equivalents of AgN(3) to form tetraazidopnictates and pentaazidopnictates of the type [PPh(4)][E(N(3))(4)] and [PPh(4)](2)[E(N(3))(5)], respectively. The synthesis of [PPh(4)][P(N(3))(4)] was also attempted from the reaction of P(N(3))(3) with [PPh(4)]N(3), but it yielded only the starting materials. Herein, we report the synthesis and structure elucidation of [PPh(4)][E(N(3))](4) (E=As, Sb) and pentaazidobismuthate, stabilized as the dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) anion adduct, [PPh(4)](2)[Bi(N(3))(5)(dmso)]. Successive anion formation along the series E(N(3))(3)+nN(3)(-) (n=1-3) and E(N(3))(5)+N(3)(-) was studied by density functional theory.  相似文献

New silver(I) complexes have been synthesized from the reaction of AgNO(3), monodentate tertiary phosphanes PR(3) (PR(3) = P(C(6)H(5))(3), P(o-C(6)H(4)CH(3))(3), P(m-C(6)H(4)CH(3))(3), P(p-C(6)H(4)CH(3))(3), PCH(3)(C(6)H(5))(2)) and two novel electron withdrawing ligands: potassium dihydrobis(3-nitropyrazol-1-yl)borate and potassium dihydrobis(3-trifluoromethylpyrazol-1-yl)borate. These compounds have been characterized by elemental analyses, FT-IR, ESI-MS and multinuclear ((1)H, (19)F and (31)P) NMR spectroscopy. Solid state structures of the potassium salts K[H(2)B(3-(NO(2))pz)(2)] and K[H(2)B(3-(CF(3))pz)(2)] have been reported. They form polymeric networks due to intermolecular contacts of various types between the potassium ion and atoms of the neighboring molecules. The silver adducts [H(2)B(3-(NO(2))pz)(2)]Ag[P(C(6)H(5))(3)](2) and [H(2)B(3-(NO(2))pz)(2)]Ag[P(p-C(6)H(4)CH(3))(3)] have pseudo tetrahedral and trigonal planar silver sites, respectively. The bis(pyrazolyl)borate ligand acts as a kappa(2)-N(2) donor. The nitro-substituents are coplanar with the pyrazolyl rings in all these adducts indicating efficient electron delocalization between the two units. The [H(2)B(3-(CF(3))pz)(2)]Ag[P(C(6)H(5))(3)] complex has been obtained from re-crystallization of {[H(2)B(3-(CF(3))pz)(2)]Ag[P(C(6)H(5))(3)](2)} in a dichloromethane-diethyl ether solution; it is a three-coordinate, trigonal planar silver complex.  相似文献

The first example of a mononuclear diphosphanidoargentate, bis[bis(trifluoromethyl)phosphanido]argentate, [Ag[P(CF(3))(2)](2)](-), is obtained via the reaction of HP(CF(3))(2) with [Ag(CN)(2)](-) and isolated as its [K(18-crown-6)] salt. When the cyclic phosphane (PCF(3))(4) is reacted with a slight excess of [K(18-crown-6)][Ag[P(CF(3))(2)](2)], selective insertion of one PCF(3) unit into each silver phosphorus bond is observed, which on the basis of NMR spectroscopic evidence suggests the [Ag[P(CF(3))P(CF(3))(2)](2)](-) ion. On treatment of the phosphane complexes [M(CO)(5)PH(CF(3))(2)] (M = Cr, W) with [K(18-crown-6)][Ag(CN)(2)], the analogous trinuclear argentates, [Ag[(micro-P(CF(3))(2))M(CO)(5)](2)](-), are formed. The chromium compound [K(18-crown-6)][Ag[(micro-P(CF(3))(2))Cr(CO)(5)](2)] crystallizes in a noncentrosymmetric space group Fdd2 (No. 43), a = 2970.2(6) pm, b = 1584.5(3) pm, c = 1787.0(4), V = 8.410(3) nm(3), Z = 8. The C(2) symmetric anion, [Ag[(micro-P(CF(3))(2))Cr(CO)(5)](2)](-), shows a nearly linear arrangement of the P-Ag-P unit. Although the bis(pentafluorophenyl)phosphanido compound [Ag[P(C(6)F(5))(2)](2)](-) has not been obtained so far, the synthesis of its trinuclear counterpart, [K(18-crown-6)][Ag[(micro-P(C(6)F(5))(2))W(CO)(5)](2)], was successful.  相似文献

Quantum chemical calculations using gradient-corrected DFT at the BP86/TZ2P level of the compounds [Ti(eta(5)-E(5))(2)](2)(-) (E = CH, N, P, As, Sb) are reported. The nature of the metal-ligand bonding has been analyzed with an energy decomposition method, and the results are compared with [Fe(eta(5)-E(5))(2)]. The bonding in both series of complexes is more covalent than electrostatic. The energy decomposition analysis shows that the dominant orbital interactions in the negatively charged titanium species come from the (e(2)') Ti --> [(eta(5)-E(5))(2)](2)(-) back-donation (delta bonding) while the covalent bonding in the iron complexes come mainly from (e(1)' ') (Cp(-))(2) --> Fe(2+) donation (pi bonding). The nature of the metal-ligand interactions does not change very much for different ligands cyc-E(5) within the two series of compounds. The calculated bond dissociation energies for breaking one metal-ligand bond of the molecules [Ti(eta(5)-E(5))(2)](2)(-) shows for E the order P > As > Sb > N > CH. The central message of this work is that the complexes [Ti(eta(5)-E(5))(2)](2)(-) are delta bonded molecules.  相似文献

[Pt(2,2'-bpy)(1-MeC-N3)(2)](NO(3))(2) (1) (2,2'-bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine; 1-MeC = 1-methylcytosine) exists in water in an equilibrium of head-tail and head-head rotamers, with the former exceeding the latter by a factor of ca. 20 at room temperature. Nevertheless, 1 reacts with (en)Pd(II) (en = ethylenediamine) to give preferentially the dinuclear complex [Pt(2,2'-bpy)(1-MeC(-)-N3,N4)(2)Pd(en)](NO(3))(2)·5H(2)O (2) with head-head arranged 1-methylctosinato (1-MeC(-)) ligands and Pd being coordinated to two exocyclic N4H(-) positions. Addition of AgNO(3) to a solution of 2 leads to formation of a pentanuclear chain compound [{Pt(2,2'-bpy)(1-MeC(-))(2)Pd(en)}(2)Ag](NO(3))(5)·14H(2)O (5) in which Ag(+) cross-links two cations of 2 via the four available O2 sites of the 1-MeC(-) ligands. 2 and 5 appear to be the first X-ray structurally characterized examples of di- and multinuclear complexes derived from a Pt(II) species with two cis-positioned cytosinato ligands adopting a head-head arrangement. (tmeda)Pd(II) (tmeda = N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine) and (2,2'-bpy)Pd(II) behave differently toward 1 in that in their derivatives the head-tail orientation of the 1-MeC(-) nucleobases is retained. In [Pt(2,2'-bpy)(1-MeC(-))(2){Pd(2,2'-bpy)}(2)](NO(3))(4)·10H(2)O (4), both (2,2'-bpy)Pd(II) entities are pairwise bonded to N4H(-) and O2 sites of the two 1-MeC(-) rings, whereas in [Pt(2,2'-bpy)(1-MeC(-))(2){Pd(tmeda)}(2)(NO(3))](NO(3))(3)·5H(2)O (3) only one of the two (tmeda)Pd(II) units is chelated to N4H(-) and O2. The second (tmeda)Pd(II) is monofunctionally attached to a single N4H(-) site. On the basis of these established binding patterns, ways to the formation of mixed Pt/Pd complexes and possible intermediates are proposed. The methylene protons of the en ligand in 2 are special in that they display two multiplets separated by 0.64 ppm in the (1)H NMR spectrum.  相似文献

The electronic absorption spectrum of trans-[Ru(NH(3))(4)(NO(2))(P(OEt)(3)](+) in aqueous solution is characterized by a strong absorption band at 334 nm (lambda(max) = 1800 mol(-1) L cm(-1)). On the basis of quantum mechanics calculations, this band has been assigned to a MLCT transition from the metal to the nitro ligand. Molecular orbital calculations also predict an LF transition at 406 nm, which is obscured by the intense MLCT transition. When trans-[Ru(NH(3))(4)(NO(2))(P(OEt)(3)](+) in acetonitrile is irradiated with a 355 nm pulsed laser light, the absorption features are gradually shifted to represent those of the solventocomplex trans-[Ru(NH(3))(4)(solv)(P(OEt)(3)](2+) (lambda(max) = 316 nm, epsilon = 650 mol(-1) L cm(-1)), which was also detected by (31)P NMR spectroscopy. The net photoreaction under these conditions is a photoaquation of trans-[Ru(NH(3))(4)(NO(2))(P(OEt)(3)](+), although, after photolysis, the presence of the nitric oxide was detected by differential pulse polarography. In phosphate buffer pH 9.0, after 15 min of photolysis, a thermal reaction resulted in the formation of a hydroxyl radical and a small amount of a paramagnetic species as detected by EPR spectroscopy. In the presence of trans-[Ru(NH(3))(4)(solv)P(OEt)(3)](2+), the hydroxyl radical initiated a chain reaction. On the basis of spectroscopic and electrochemical data, the role of the radicals produced is analyzed and a reaction sequence consistent with the experimental results is proposed. The 355 nm laser photolysis of trans-[Ru(NH(3))(4)(NO(2))(P(OEt)(3)](+) in phosphate buffer pH 7.4 also gives nitric oxide, which is readily trapped by ferrihemeproteins (myoglobin, hemoglobin, and cytochrome C), giving rise to the formation of their nitrosylhemeproteins(II), (NO)Fe(II)hem.  相似文献

A series of homodinuclear platinum(II) complexes containing bridging chalcogenido ligands, [Pt(2)(mu-E)(2)(P empty set N)(4)] (P empty set N=dppy, E=S (1), Se (2); P empty set N=tBu-dppy, E=S (3)) (dppy=2-(diphenylphosphino)pyridine, tBu-dppy=4-tert-butyl-2-(diphenylphosphino)pyridine) have been synthesized and characterized. The nucleophilicity of the [Pt(2)E(2)] unit towards a number of d(10) metal ions and complexes has been demonstrated through the successful isolation of a number of novel heteropolynuclear platinum(II)-copper(I), -silver(I), and -gold(I) complexes: [[Pt(2)(mu(3)-E)(2)(dppy)(4)](2)Ag(3)](PF(6))(3) (E=S (4); Se (5)) and [Pt(2)(dppy)(4)(mu(3)-E)(2)M(2)(dppm)]X(2) (E=S, M=Ag, X=BF(4) (6); E=S, M=Cu, X=PF(6) (7); E=S, M=Au, X=PF(6) (8); E=Se, M=Ag, X=PF(6) (9); E=Se, M=Au, X=PF(6) (10)). Some of them display short metal.metal contacts. These complexes have been found to possess interesting luminescence properties. Through systematic comparison studies, the emission origin has been probed.  相似文献

The reactions of [RuHCl(CO)(B)(EPh(3))(2)] (B=EPh(3) or pyridine; E=P or As) and 2'-hydroxychalcones in 1:2 ratio led to the formation of [Ru(CO)(B)(L)(2)] (B=PPh(3), AsPh(3) or Py; L=2'-hydroxychalcones). The new complexes have been characterized by analytical and spectral (IR, electronic and (1)H NMR) data. They have been assigned an octahedral structure. The new complexes were found to catalyze the oxidation of alcohols to aldehydes using N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide as co-oxidant. All the new complexes were found to be active against bacteria such as E. coli, Salmonella typhi and fungi Aspergillus niger. The activity was compared with standard Streptomycin or Bavistin.  相似文献

Reaction of aqueous AgNO(3) with aqueous M(3)[Cr(ox)(3)] in >or=3:1 molar ratio causes the rapid growth of large, cherry-black, light-stable crystals which are not Ag(3)[Cr(ox)(3)], but [M(0.5)(H(2)O)(3)]@[Ag(2.5)Cr(ox)(3)] (ox(2)(-) = oxalate, C(2)O(4)(2)(-); M = Na, K, Cs, Ag, or mixtures of Ag and a group 1 element). The structure of these crystals contains an invariant channeled framework, with composition [[Ag(2.5)Cr(ox)(3)](-)(0.5)]( infinity ), constructed with [Cr(ox)(3)] coordination units linked by Ag atoms through centrosymmetric [Cr-O(2)C(2)O(2)-Ag](2) double bridges. The framework composition [Ag(2.5)Cr(ox)(3)](-)(0.5) occurs because one Ag is located on a 2-fold axis. Within the channels there is a well-defined and ordered set of six water molecules, strongly hydrogen bonded to each other and some of the oxalate O atoms. This invariant channel plus water structure accommodates group 1 cations, and/or Ag cations, in different locations and in variable proportions, but always coordinated by channel water and some oxalate O atoms. The general formulation of these crystals is therefore [M(x)Ag(0.5-x)(H(2)O)(3)]@[Ag(2.5)Cr(ox)(3)]. Five different crystals with this structure are reported, with compositions 1 Ag(0.5)[Ag(2.5)Cr(ox)(3)](H(2)O)(3), 2 Cs(0.19)Ag(0.31)[Ag(2.5)Cr(ox)(3)](H(2)O)(3), 3 K(0.28)Ag(0.22)[Ag(2.5)Cr(ox)(3)](H(2)O)(3), 4 Cs(0.41)Ag(0.09)[Ag(2.5)Cr(ox)(3)](H(2)O)(3), and 5 Cs(0.43)Ag(0.07) [Ag(2.5)Cr(ox)(3)](H(2)O)(3). All crystallize in space group C2/c, with a approximately 18.4, b approximately 14.6, c approximately 12.3 A, beta approximately 113 degrees. Pure Ag(3)[Cr(ox)(3)](H(2)O)(3), which has the same crystal structure (1), was obtained from water by treating Li(3)[Cr(ox)(3)] with excess AgNO(3). Complete dehydration of all of these compounds occurs between 30 and 100 degrees C, with loss of diffraction, but rehydration by exposure to H(2)O(g) at ambient temperature leads to recovery of the original diffraction pattern. In single crystals, this reversible dehydration-hydration occurs without visually evident crystal change, but with loss of mechanical strength. We postulate a general mechanism for transport of water molecules along the channels, associated with local partial collapses of the channel framework, with concomitant bending but little breaking of the host Ag-O and Cr-O bonds, which is readily reversed.  相似文献

In a new oxidative route, Ag(+)[Al(OR(F))(4)](-) (R(F)=C(CF(3))(3)) and metallic indium were sonicated in aromatic solvents, such as fluorobenzene (PhF), to give a precipitate of silver metal and highly soluble [In(PhF)(n)](+) salts (n=2, 3) with the weakly coordinating [Al(OR(F))(4)](-) anion in quantitative yield. The In(+) salt and the known analogous Ga(+)[Al(OR(F))(4)](-) were used to synthesize a series of homoleptic PR(3) phosphane complexes [M(PR(3))(n)](+), that is, the weakly PPh(3)-bridged [(Ph(3)P)(3)In-(PPh(3))-In(PPh(3))(3)](2+) that essentially contains two independent [In(PPh(3))(3)](+) cations or, with increasing bulk of the phosphane, the carbene-analogous [M(PtBu(3))(2)](+) (M=Ga, In) cations. The M(I)-P distances are 27 to 29 pm longer for indium, and thus considerably longer than the difference between their tabulated radii (18 pm). The structure, formation, and frontier orbitals of these complexes were investigated by calculations at the BP86/SV(P), B3LYP/def2-TZVPP, MP2/def2-TZVPP, and SCS-MP2/def2-TZVPP levels.  相似文献

The reaction of the chelating ligands (obtained by the condensation of 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde with various primary amines) with [RuHCl(CO)(EPh(3))(2)(B)] (where E=P; B=PPh(3), py or pip: E=As; B=AsPh(3)) in benzene afforded new stable ruthenium(II) carbonyl complexes of the general formula [Ru(Cl)(CO)(EPh(3))(B)(L)] (L=anion of bidentate Schiff bases). The structure of the new complexes was investigated using elemental analyses, spectral (FT-IR, UV-vis and (1)H NMR) and electrochemical studies and is found to be octahedral. All the metal complexes exhibit characteristic MLCT absorption and luminescence bands in the visible region. The luminescence efficiency of the ruthenium(II) complexes was explained based on the ligand environment around the metal ion. These complexes catalyze oxidation of primary and secondary alcohols into their corresponding carbonyl compounds in the presence of N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide (NMO) as the source of oxygen. The formation of high valent Ru(IV)=O species as a catalytic intermediate is proposed for the catalytic process.  相似文献

Complexes of the type [Ru(CO)(EPh(3))(B)(L)] (E = P or As; B = PPh(3), AsPh(3), py or pip; L=dianion of the Schiff bases derived from thiosemicarbazone with acetoacetanilide, acetoacet-o-toluidide and o-chloro acetoacetanilide) have been synthesized from the reactions of equimolar amounts of [RuHCl(CO)(EPh(3))(2)(B)] and Schiff bases in benzene. The new complexes have been characterized by analytical and spectral (IR, electronic, NMR) data. The arrangement of PPh(3) groups around ruthenium metal was determined from (31)P NMR spectra. An octahedral structure has been assigned for all the new complexes. All the complexes exhibited catalytic activity for the oxidation of benzyl alcohol and cyclohexanol in presence of N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide as co-oxidant. The complexes also exhibited antibacterial activity against E. coli, Aeromonas hydrophilla and Salmonella typhi. The activity was compared with standard streptomycin.  相似文献

Polymeric transition metal chalcogenides have attracted much attention because of their possible unusual properties directly derived from their extended structures. The molecules n-cyanopyridine (n = 2, 3, and 4) and pyridine-3,4-dicarbonitrile are found to function as bidentate or monodentate (only pyridine nitrogen donor atom) ligands in the coordination of silver(I) and copper(I) ions, respectively. The mode of coordination depends on the anion and the crystallization conditions and has been elucidated in all cases by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. We report here the syntheses, structural characterization, and electrical properties of six new polymers, [Ag(2)(2-cyanopyridine)(2)(NO(3))(2)](n)(1), [Ag(4)(3-cyanopyridine)(8)(SiF(6))(2)(H(2)O)(2)](n) (2), [Ag(3-cyanopyridine)(2)(NO(3))](n)(3), [Ag(pyridine-3,4-dicarbonitrile)(2)(NO(3))](n)(4), [Cu(I)(4-cyanopyridine)(2)(SCN)](n)(5), and [Cu(I)(pyridine-3,4-dicarbonitrile)(2)(SCN)](n)(6). Compounds 1 and 2 exhibit novel two-dimensional networks, while 3-6 have one-dimensional chain structures, in which 3 is a single-stranded helix. Room-temperature conductivities of 1, 2, 4, and 6 have been measured and are 3.1 x 10(-)(7), 2.7 x 10(-)(7), 7.4 x 10(-)(6), and 4.3 x 10(-)(5) S.cm(-)(1), respectively. The effect of temperature on the conductivities has been investigated.  相似文献

Reaction of AgBF(4), KNH(2), K(2)Se, Se, and [2.2.2]-cryptand in acetonitrile yields [K([2.2.2]-cryptand)](4)[Ag(4)(Se(2)C(2)(CN)(2))(4)] (1). In the unit cell of 1 there are four [K([2.2.2]-cryptand)](+) units and a tetrahedral Ag(4) anionic core coordinated in mu(1)-Se, mu(2)-Se fashion by each of four mns ligands (mns = maleonitrilediselenolate, [Se(2)C(2)(CN)(2)](2)(-)). Reaction of AgNO(3), Na(2)(mnt) (mnt = maleonitriledithiolate, [S(2)C(2)(CN)(2)](2)(-)), and [2.2.2]-cryptand in acetonitrile yields [Na([2.2.2]-cryptand)](4)[Ag(4)(mnt)(4)].0.33MeCN (2). The Ag(4) anion of 2 is analogous to that in 1. Reaction of AgNO(3), Na(2)(mnt), and [NBu(4)]Br in acetonitrile yields [NBu(4)](4)[Ag(4)(mnt)(4)] (3). The anion of 3 also comprises an Ag(4) core coordinated by four mnt ligands, but the Ag(4) core is diamond-shaped rather than tetrahedral. Reaction of [K([2.2.2]-cryptand)](3)[Ag(mns)(Se(6))] with KNH(2) and [2.2.2]-cryptand in acetonitrile yields [K([2.2.2]-cryptand)](3)[Ag(mns)(2)].2MeCN (4). The anion of 4 comprises an Ag center coordinated by two mns ligands in a tetrahedral arrangement. Reaction of AgNO(3), 2 equiv of Na(2)(mnt), and [2.2.2]-cryptand in acetonitrile yields [Na([2.2.2]-cryptand)](3)[Ag(mnt)(2)] (5). The anion of 5 is analogous to that of 4. Electronic absorption and infrared spectra of each complex show behavior characteristic of metal-maleonitriledichalcogenates. The first monomeric antimony alkoxides, Sb(OC(6)H(3)Me(2))(3) (1) and Sb(OEt)(5) x NH(3) (2), have been crystallographically characterized. The former adopts a trigonal pyramidal geometry, while the latter is octahedral about antimony; hydrogen bonding between NH(3) and SbOEt groups in Sb(OEt)(5) small middle dotNH(3) creates a one-dimensional lattice arrangement. Reaction of pyridine with SbCl(5) in EtOH/hexane yields the salt [Hpy(+)](9)[Sb(2)Cl(11)(5)(-)][Cl(-)](4) (3), which has also been crystallographically characterized. NO[Al(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(4)] 1 and NO[Al(OC(CF(3))(3))(4)] 2 were obtained by the metathesis reaction of NO[SbF(6)] and the corresponding Li[Al(OR)(4)] salts in liquid sulfur dioxide solution in ca 40% (1) and 85% (2) isolated yield. 1 and 2, as well as Li[NO(3)] and N(2)O, were also given by the reaction of an excess of mixture of (90 mol%) NO, (10 mol%) NO(2) with Li[Al(OR)(4)] followed by extraction with SO(2). The unfavourable disproportionation reaction of 2NO(2)(g) to [NO](+)(g) and [NO(3)](-)(g)[DeltaH degrees = +616.2 kJ mol(-1)] is more than compensated by the disproportionation energy of 3NO(g) to N(2)O(g) and NO(2)(g)[DeltaH degrees =-155.4 kJ mol(-1)] and the lattice energy of Li[NO(3)](s)[U(POT)= 862 kJ mol(-1)]. Evidence is presented that the reaction proceeds via a complex of [Li](+) with NO, NO(2)(or their dimers) and N(2)O. NO(2) and Li[Al(OC(CF(3))(3))(4)] gave [NO(3)(NO)(3)][Al(OC(CF(3))(3))(4)](2), NO[Al(OC(CF(3))(3))(4)] and (NO(2))[Al(OC(CF(3))(3))(4)] products. The aluminium complex [Li[AlF(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(3)]](2) 3 was prepared by the thermal decomposition of Li[Al(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(4)]. Compounds 1 and 3 were characterized by single crystal X-ray structural analyses, 1-3 by elemental analyses, NMR, IR, Raman and mass spectra. Solid 1 contains [Al(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(4)](-) and [NO](+) weakly linked via donor acceptor interactions, while in the SO(2) solution there is an equilibrium between the associated [NO](+)[Al(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(4)](-) and separated solvated ions. Solid 2 contains essentially ionic [NO](+) and [Al(OC(CF(3))(3))(4)](-). Complex 3 consists of two [Li[AlF(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(3)]] units linked via fluorine lithium contacts. Compound 1 is unstable in the SO(2) solution and decomposes to yield [AlF(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(3)](-), [(PhC(CF(3))(2)O)(3)Al(mu-F)Al(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(3)](-) anions as well as (NO)C(6)H(4)C(CF(3))(2)OH, while compound 2 is stable in liquid SO(2). The [small nu](NO(+)) in 1 and [NO](+)(toluene)[SbCl(6)] are similar, implying similar basicities of [Al(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(4)](-) and toluene.  相似文献

The normally robust monoalkylated complexes [Pt(2)(mu-S)(mu-SR)(PPh(3))(4)](+) can be activated towards further alkylation. Dialkylated complexes [Pt(2)(mu-SR)(2)(P-P)(2)](2+) (P-P=2 x PPh(3), Ph(2)P(CH(2))(3)PPh(2)) can be stabilized and isolated by the use of electron-rich and aromatic halogenated substituents R [e.g. 3-(2-bromoethyl)indole and 2-bromo-4'-phenylacetophenone] and 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane [Ph(2)P(CH(2))(3)PPh(2) or dppp] which enhances the nucleophilicity of the {Pt(2)(mu-S)(2)} core. This strategy led to the activation of [Pt(2)(mu-S)(mu-SR)(PPh(3))(4)](+) towards R-X as well as isolation and crystallographic elucidation of [Pt(2)(mu-SC(10)H(10)N)(2)(PPh(3))(4)](PF(6))(2) (2a), [Pt(2)(mu-SCH(2)C(O)C(6)H(4)C(6)H(5))(2)(PPh(3))(4)](PF(6))(2) (2b), and a range of functionalized-thiolato bridged complexes such as [Pt(2)(mu-SR)(2)(dppp)(2)](PF(6))(2) [R= -CH(2)C(6)H(5) (8a), -CH(2)CHCH(2) (8b) and -CH(2)CN (8c)]. The stepwise alkylation process is conveniently monitored by Electrospray Ionisation Mass Spectrometry, allowing for a direct qualitative comparison of the nucleophilicity of [Pt(2)(mu-S)(2)(P-P)(2)], thereby guiding the bench-top synthesis of some products observed spectroscopically.  相似文献
