The mechanism of the famous phase compression is discussed, and it is used to control the chaos in the Hindmarsh-Rose (H-R) model. It is numerically confirmed that the phase compression scheme can be understood as one kind of intermittent feedback scheme, which requires appropriate thresholds and feedback coeffcient, and the intermittent feedback can be realized with the Heaviside function. In the case of control chaos, the output variable (usually the voltage or the membrane potential of the neuron) is sampled and compared with the external standard signal of the electric electrode. The error between the sampled variable and the external standard signal of the electrode is input into the system only when the sampled variable surpasses the selected thresholds. The numerical simulation results confirm that the chaotic H-R system can be controlled to reach arbitrary n-periodical (n = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,...) orbit or stable state even when just one variable is feed backed into the system intermittently. The chaotic Chua circuit is also investigated to check its model independence and effectiveness of the schemes and the equivalence of the two schemes are confirmed again.  相似文献

A novel and simple adaptive feedback controller is proposed for chaos and hyperchaos synchronization. In comparison with previous methods, the present control scheme is not only simple but employs only one control strength, converges very fast and also suitable for a large class of chaotic and hyperchaotic systems. In addition, the synchronization is efficient in the presence of noise. Numerical simulations are used to validate and demonstrate the effectiveness of the method.  相似文献

In this Letter, an adaptive secure communication scheme with channel noises is proposed. Based on the idea of chaotic masking-modulation, the message is encrypted by a chaotic signal. By using adaptive feedback control techniques, the transmitter and the receiver are synchronized, so the masked signal can be perfectly recovered by the receiver in the presence of channel noises. In light of the Lyapunov stability theory for stochastic differential equations, several theoretical results are rigorously established. Finally, the famous Chua's circuits is used to illustrate the possible applications of the obtained theoretical results, and the computer simulations show that the proposed scheme is feasible and efficient.  相似文献

This paper considers the problem of controlling weighted complex dynamical networks by applying adaptive control to a fraction of network nodes. We investigate the local and global synchronization of the controlled dynamical network through the construction of a master stability function and a Lyapunov function. Analytical results show that a certain number of nodes can be controlled by using adaptive pinning to ensure the synchronization of the entire network. We present numerical simulations to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. In comparison with feedback pinning, the proposed pinning control scheme is robust when tested by noise, different weighting and coupling structures, and time delays.  相似文献

Based on the T-S fuzzy model and the delayed feedback control (DFC) scheme, this Letter presents a robust synchronization strategy for a class of chaotic system with unknown parameters and disturbances. Being the response system, the designed robust observer can adaptively track the drive system globally. The T-S fuzzy model of the 4D chaotic system (Lorenz-Stenflo) is developed as an example for illustration. Numerical simulations are shown to verify the results.  相似文献

A scheme is presented tor generating steady tour-atom decoherence-tree states via tour atoms with the Raman level configuration interacting with a single-mode vacuum cavity field by using quantum-jump-based feedback. The scheme meets the condition of a strongly dissipative cavity easily and has a simplified feedback control. Although the spontaneous emission still plays a negative role in the proposed system, we can improve the feedback control to reduce its effect.  相似文献

This Letter investigates the synchronization problem of a complex network with nonidentical nodes, and proposes two effective control schemes to synchronize the network onto any smooth goal dynamics. By applying open-loop control to all nodes and placing adaptive feedback injections on a small fraction of network nodes, a low-dimensional sufficient condition is derived to guarantee the global synchronization of the complex network with nonidentical nodes. By introducing impulsive effects to the open-loop controlled network, another synchronization scheme is developed for the network composed of nonidentical nodes, and an upper bound of impulsive intervals is estimated to ensure the global stability of the synchronization process. Spiral waves and spatiotemporal chaos are sometimes harmful and should be controlled. In this letter we present a feedback scheme to eliminate them. We first collect feedback signals at a certain time t0. Then wait for the system at the excitable position to enter the recovering state. When the time comes, the feedback signals are added. This scheme has two advantages. Firstly, the tip can be eliminated together with the body of spiral wave. Secondly, the injected feedback signals can be very weak and the duration can be very short so that the original system is nearly not to be affected, which is important for practical applications.  相似文献

We present a sub-Doppler cooling scheme of a two-trapped-ion crystal by quantum feedback control method. In the scheme, we obtain the motional information by continuously measuring the spontaneous emission photons from one single ion of the crystal, and then apply a feedback force to cool the whole chain down.We derive the cooling dynamics of the cooling scheme using quantum feedback theory and quantum regression theorem. The result shows that with experimentally achievable parameters, our scheme can achieve lower temperature and faster cooling rate than Doppler cooling.  相似文献

This Letter introduces linear balanced feedback control scheme to design controller for the synchronization of two identical chaotic systems based on Lyapunov stability theory and constrained extreme approach. The technique is applied to synchronizing two identical four-scroll chaotic systems and guiding balanced feedback gains design. In accordance with the result of the analysis, an adaptive control scheme is proposed for chaos synchronization when the parametric variations of the response system are uncertain. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed synchronization scheme are verified via numerical simulations.  相似文献

Feedback is a significant strategy for the control of quantum system. Information acquisition is the greatest difficulty in quantum feedback applications. After discussing several basic methods for information acquisition, we review three kinds of quantum feedback control strategies: quantum feedback control with measurement, coherent quantum feedback, and quantum feedback control based on cloning and recognition. The first feedback strategy can effectively acquire information, but it destroys the coherence in feedback loop. On the contrary, coherent quantum feedback does not destroy the coherence, but the capability of information acquisition is limited. However, the third feedback scheme gives a compromise between information acquisition and measurement disturbance.  相似文献

We demonstrate a new method to measure weak birefringence of dielectric mirrors with excellent spatial resolution and sensitivity (<10-7 radians). We exploit a well-known optical feedback scheme for line-width narrowing and frequency locking of a diode laser to a high-finesse cavity. Feedback comes from the intracavity field which builds up at resonance, selected by its change in polarization with respect to the incident field. This change, due to the residual birefringence of the cavity mirror coatings, was already exploited for birefringence measurements using an active laser-locking scheme. Here we measure the optical feedback rate as a function of rotation angle of one of the cavity mirrors (around the cavity axis). A stable feedback signal is obtained since the laser, as soon as it locks to a cavity resonance, effectively behaves as a monochromatic source. By fitting the data with a theoretical expression, we determine quantitatively the local birefringence vectors of both mirrors, which are around 10-6 radians. Our scheme is simple, works with cavities of very high finesse (F∼105), and is promising for measuring birefringence in gases induced by external fields. 输出机动控制问题通常由几何任务和动态任务两部分组成.对具有参数不确定性的多输入多输出非线性系统,研究了其基于输出反馈的自适应机动控制问题.通过引入滤波器和观测器来实现对不可量测系统状态的虚拟估计.利用向量形式的Backstepping反推方法,构造出了输出反馈自适应控制器,并给出了三种路径变量自适应律设计方案.所提出的控制方案保证了闭环系统的全局渐近稳定性,使得系统同时完成几何任务和动态任务.最后的仿真结果验证了本方法的有效性. 关键词: 输出反馈 非线性系统 输出机动 反推  相似文献

More and more attention has been payed to the hyperchaotic system for the huge potential applications of hyperchaotic system such as secure communication and more complex structure than chaotic system. So at present the controlling of the hyperchaotic system simply and effectively is a frontier topic of nonlinear science. In this Letter, for the latest hyperchaotic Lorenz system, four feedback control methods were studied with analytic solution and necessary numerical simulations. It is found that the enhancing feedback control approach is the best choice of the given four feedback control methods for its relatively simple external inputs and relatively small necessary feedback coefficient after comparison. The conclusion is a helpful for the choice of control methods of any other chaotic and hyperchaotic systems.  相似文献

This work examines the characteristics of a unique active vibration isolator and develops a control strategy for it. The proposed active vibration isolator is introduced and its dynamic model is presented. A characterization study is conducted to identify system parameters. It is shown that with a simple proportional feedback the closed-loop system has a very narrow stability margin due to the inherent dynamics of the actuator. To improve the stability of the closed-loop system and enhance the performance of vibration isolation, a phase compensator is incorporated in the control scheme. An optimization problem is formulated to determine the optimum controller parameters by minimizing the 2nd norm of the displacement transmissibility. Both absolute position feedback and relative position feedback are considered. In real time implementation, an automatic on/off switching strategy is devised to take full advantage of both the active isolator and passive isolator. The experimental results show that with the proposed control scheme, the isolator is capable of suppressing base excitations effectively.  相似文献

The anti-control of bifurcation refers to the task of creating a certain bifurcation with particular desired properties and location by appropriate controls. We consider, via feedback control and symbolic computation, the problem of anti-control of Hopf bifurcation in the chaotic Liu system. We propose an anti-control scheme and show that compared with the uncontrolled system, the anti-controlled Liu system can exhibit Hopf bifurcation in a much larger parameter region. The anti-control strategy used keeps the equilibrium structure of the Liu system and can be applied to generate Hopf bifurcation at the desired location with preferred stability. We illustrate the etticiency of the anti-control approach under different operating conditions.  相似文献
