We extend the strong multiplicity one theorem of Jacquet, Piatetski-Shapiro and Shalika. Let π be a unitary, cuspidal, automorphic representation of . Let S be a set of finite places of K, such that the sum is convergent. Then π is uniquely determined by the collection of the local components finite} of π. Combining this theorem with base change, it is possible to consider sets S of positive density, having appropriate splitting behavior with respect to a solvable extension L of K, and where π is determined up to twisting by a character of the Galois group of L over K.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the weak and strong convergence of two algorithms for solving Lipschitz continuous and monotone variational inequalities. The algorithms are inspired by Tseng’s extragradient method and the viscosity method with Armijo-like step size rule. The main advantages of our algorithms are that the construction of solution approximations and the proof of convergence of the algorithms are performed without the prior knowledge of the Lipschitz constant of cost operators. Finally, we provide numerical experiments to show the efficiency and advantage of the proposed algorithms.  相似文献

In this article, the unidirectional travelling wave fronts for a qualitative model in combustion are studied. The model is considered for a simple RP kind of chemical reaction. By proving a general theorem of ODE's, the weak and strong detonations for exothermic reactions are shown to exist. The uniqueness of these waves are also considered.  相似文献

We study Poisson limits for U-statistics with non-negative kernels. The limit theory is derived from the Poisson convergence of suitable point processes of U-statistics structure. We apply these results to derive infinite variance stable limits for U-statistics with a regularly varying kernel and to determine the index of regular variation of the left tail of the kernel. The latter is known as correlation dimension. We use the point process convergence to study the asymptotic behavior of some standard estimators of this dimension.  相似文献

We study in this paper the asymptotic behaviour of the weak solutions of the three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations. On the one hand, using the weak topology of the usual phase space H (of square integrable divergence free functions) we prove the existence of a weak attractor in both autonomous and nonautonomous cases. On the other, we obtain a conditional result about the existence of the strong attractor, which is valid under an unproved hypothesis. Also, with this hypothesis we obtain continuous weak solutions with respect to the strong topology of H.  相似文献

Weak and strong convergence theorems are proved in real Hilbert spaces for a new class of nonspreading-type mappings more general than the class studied recently in Kurokawa and Takahashi [Y. Kurokawa, W. Takahashi, Weak and strong convergence theorems for nonspreading mappings in Hilbert spaces, Nonlinear Anal. 73 (2010) 1562-1568]. We explored an auxiliary mapping in our theorems and proofs and this also yielded a strong convergence theorem of Halpern’s type for our class of mappings and hence resolved in the affirmative an open problem posed by Kurokawa and Takahashi in their final remark for the case where the mapping T is averaged.  相似文献

Let C be a closed convex subset of a real Hilbert space H and assume that T is a κ-strict pseudo-contraction on C with a fixed point, for some 0?κ<1. Given an initial guess x0C and given also a real sequence {αn} in (0,1). The Mann's algorithm generates a sequence {xn} by the formula: xn+1=αnxn+(1−αn)Txn, n?0. It is proved that if the control sequence {αn} is chosen so that κ<αn<1 and , then {xn} converges weakly to a fixed point of T. However this convergence is in general not strong. We then modify Mann's algorithm by applying projections onto suitably constructed closed convex sets to get an algorithm which generates a strong convergent sequence. This result extends a recent result of Nakajo and Takahashi [K. Nakajo, W. Takahashi, Strong convergence theorems for nonexpansive mappings and nonexpansive semigroups, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 279 (2003) 372-379] from nonexpansive mappings to strict pseudo-contractions.  相似文献
