LetT(t) be the translation group onY=C 0(ℝ×K)=C 0(ℝ)⊗C(K),K compact Hausdorff, defined byT(t)f(x, y)=f(x+t, y). In this paper we give several representations of the sun-dialY corresponding to this group. Motivated by the solution of this problem, viz.Y =L 1(ℝ)⊗M(K), we develop a duality theorem for semigroups of the formT 0(t)⊗id on tensor productsZX of Banach spaces, whereT 0(t) is a semigroup onZ. Under appropriate compactness assumptions, depending on the kind of tensor product taken, we show that the sun-dial ofZX is given byZ X*. These results are applied to determine the sun-dials for semigroups induced on spaces of vector-valued functions, e.g.C 0(Ω;X) andL p (μ;X). This paper was written during a half-year stay at the Centre for Mathematics and Computer Science CWI in Amsterdam. Given aL 1(ℝ) and A the generator of an L 1-integrable family of bounded and linear operators defined on a Banach space X, we prove the existence of almost automorphic solution to the semilinear integral equation u(t)= −∞ t a(ts)[Au(s)+f(s,u(s))]ds for each f:ℝ×XX almost automorphic in t, uniformly in xX, and satisfying diverse Lipschitz type conditions. In the scalar case, we prove that aL 1(ℝ) positive, nonincreasing and log-convex is already sufficient.  相似文献

We are concerned in this paper with the existence of mild solutions to the Cauchy Problem for the fractional differential equation with nonlocal conditions: D q x(t)=Ax(t)+t n f(t,x(t),Bx(t)), t∈[0,T], n∈ℤ+, x(0)+g(x)=x 0, where 0<q<1, A is the infinitesimal generator of a C 0-semigroup of bounded linear operators on a Banach space X.  相似文献

We obtain conditions for the invertibility and the Fredholm property of the difference operator (Dx)(n)=x(n) -U(n)x(n − 1),n ε ℤ, in the Banach space l p (ℤ, X),p ε [1, ∞], of vector sequences, whereX is a Banach space andU is a bounded operator function. We consider the linear difference operator (Dx)(t) = x(t) − B(t)x(th), t ∈ ℝ, where h ∈ ℝ is a nonzero number and B is a continuous bounded operator-valued function on ℝ ranging in the algebra of linear bounded operators on a Banach space. We obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the continuous invertibility of D in the space of continuous bounded vector functions and present a formula for the inverse operator.  相似文献

In this paper we study multiplicative perturbations for the generator of a strongly continuous integral resolvent family of bounded linear operators defined on a Banach space X. Assuming that a(t) is a creep function which satisfies a(0+)>0, we prove that if (A,a) generates an integral resolvent, then (A(I+B),a) also generates an integral resolvent for all BB(X,Z), where Z belongs to a class of admissible Banach spaces. In special instances of a(t) the space Z is proved to be characterized by an extended class of Favard spaces.  相似文献

Let C[0, T] denote the space of real-valued continuous functions on the interval [0, T] with an analogue w ϕ of Wiener measure and for a partition 0 = t 0 < t 1 < ... < t n < t n+1 = T of [0, T], let X n : C[0, T] → ℝ n+1 and X n+1: C[0, T] → ℝ n+2 be given by X n (x) = (x(t 0), x(t 1), ..., x(t n )) and X n+1(x) = (x(t 0), x(t 1), ..., x(t n+1)), respectively. In this paper, using a simple formula for the conditional w ϕ-integral of functions on C[0, T] with the conditioning function X n+1, we derive a simple formula for the conditional w ϕ-integral of the functions with the conditioning function X n . As applications of the formula with the function X n , we evaluate the conditional w ϕ-integral of the functions of the form F m (x) = ∫0 T (x(t)) m for xC[0, T] and for any positive integer m. Moreover, with the conditioning X n , we evaluate the conditional w ϕ-integral of the functions in a Banach algebra which is an analogue of the Cameron and Storvick’s Banach algebra . Finally, we derive the conditional analytic Feynman w ϕ-integrals of the functions in .   相似文献

Let T = (T(t))t≥0 be a bounded C-regularized semigroup generated by A on a Banach space X and R(C) be dense in X. We show that if there is a dense subspace Y of X such that for every x ∈ Y, σu(A, Cx), the set of all points λ ∈ iR to which (λ - A)^-1 Cx can not be extended holomorphically, is at most countable and σr(A) N iR = Ф, then T is stable. A stability result for the case of R(C) being non-dense is also given. Our results generalize the work on the stability of strongly continuous senfigroups.  相似文献

A symmetric random evolution X(t) = (X 1 (t), …, X m (t)) controlled by a homogeneous Poisson process with parameter λ > 0 is considered in the Euclidean space ℝ m , m ≥ 2. We obtain an asymptotic relation for the transition density p(x, t), t > 0, of the process X(t) as λ → 0 and describe the behavior of p(x, t) near the boundary of the diffusion domain in spaces of different dimensions. Suppose that(T t )t>0 is aC 0 semi-group of contractions on a Banach spaceX, such that there exists a vectorxX, ‖x‖=1 verifyingJ −1(Jx)={x}, whereJ is the duality mapping fromX toP(X *). If |<T t x,f>|→1, whent→+∞ for somefX *, ‖f‖≤1 thenx is an eigenvector of the generatorA, associated with a purcly imaginary eigenvalue. Because of Lin's example [L], the hypothesis onxX is the best possible. If the hypothesisJ −1(Jx)={x} is not verified, we can prove that ifJx is a singleton and ifJ −1(Jx) is weakly compact, then if |<T t x, f>|→1, whent→+∞ for somefX *, ‖f‖≤1, there existsyJ −1(Jx) such thaty is an eigenvector of the generatorA, associated with a purely imaginary eigenvalue. We give also a counter-example in the case whereX is one of the spaces ℓ1 orL 1.  相似文献

Let X(t) be an N parameter generalized Lévy sheet taking values in ℝd with a lower index α, ℜ = {(s, t] = ∏ i=1 N (s i, t i], s i < t i}, E(x, Q) = {tQ: X(t) = x}, Q ∈ ℜ be the level set of X at x and X(Q) = {x: ∃tQ such that X(t) = x} be the image of X on Q. In this paper, the problems of the existence and increment size of the local times for X(t) are studied. In addition, the Hausdorff dimension of E(x, Q) and the upper bound of a uniform dimension for X(Q) are also established.  相似文献

Let F p,t (n) denote the number of the coefficients of (x 1+1x 2+...+x t ) j , 0 ≤jn− 1, which are not divisible by the prime p. Define G p,t (n) = F p,t /n θ and β(p,t) = lim infF p,t )(n)/n θ, where θ = (log)/(log p). In this paper, we mainly prove that G p,t can be extended to a continuous function on ℝ+, and the function G p,t is nowhere monotonic. Both the set of differential points of the function G p,t and the set of non-differential points of the function G p,t are dense in ℝ+. Received February 18, 2000, Accepted December 7, 2000  相似文献

UniversalC*-algebrasC*(A) exist for certain topological *-algebras called algebras with aC*-enveloping algebra. A Frechet *-algebraA has aC*-enveloping algebra if and only if every operator representation ofA mapsA into bounded operators. This is proved by showing that every unbounded operator representation π, continuous in the uniform topology, of a topological *-algebraA, which is an inverse limit of Banach *-algebras, is a direct sum of bounded operator representations, thereby factoring through the enveloping pro-C*-algebraE(A) ofA. Given aC*-dynamical system (G,A,α), any topological *-algebraB containingC c (G,A) as a dense *-subalgebra and contained in the crossed productC*-algebraC*(G,A,α) satisfiesE(B) =C*(G,A,α). IfG = ℝ, ifB is an α-invariant dense Frechet *-subalgebra ofA such thatE(B) =A, and if the action α onB ism-tempered, smooth and by continuous *-automorphisms: then the smooth Schwartz crossed productS(ℝ,B,α) satisfiesE(S(ℝ,B,α)) =C*(ℝ,A,α). WhenG is a Lie group, theC -elementsC (A), the analytic elementsC ω(A) as well as the entire analytic elementsC є(A) carry natural topologies making them algebras with aC*-enveloping algebra. Given a non-unitalC*-algebraA, an inductive system of idealsI α is constructed satisfyingA =C*-ind limI α; and the locally convex inductive limit ind limI α is anm-convex algebra with theC*-enveloping algebraA and containing the Pedersen idealK a ofA. Given generatorsG with weakly Banach admissible relationsR, we construct universal topological *-algebraA(G, R) and show that it has aC*-enveloping algebra if and only if (G, R) isC*-admissible.  相似文献

Let [A, a] be a normed operator ideal. We say that [A, a] is boundedly weak*-closed if the following property holds: for all Banach spaces X and Y, if T: XY** is an operator such that there exists a bounded net (T i ) iI in A(X, Y) satisfying lim i y*, T i x y*〉 for every xX and y* ∈ Y*, then T belongs to A(X, Y**). Our main result proves that, when [A, a] is a normed operator ideal with that property, A(X, Y) is complemented in its bidual if and only if there exists a continuous projection from Y** onto Y, regardless of the Banach space X. We also have proved that maximal normed operator ideals are boundedly weak*-closed but, in general, both concepts are different.   相似文献

We study the continuous as well as the discontinuous solutions of Hamilton-Jacobi equationu t +H(u,Du) =g in ℝ n x ℝ+ withu(x, 0) =u 0(x). The HamiltonianH(s,p) is assumed to be convex and positively homogeneous of degree one inp for eachs in ℝ. IfH is non increasing ins, in general, this problem need not admit a continuous viscosity solution. Even in this case we obtain a formula for discontinuous viscosity solutions.  相似文献

We consider the properties of a random set ϕ t (ℝ + d ), where ϕ t (x) is a solution of a stochastic differential equation in ℝ + d with normal reflection from the boundary that starts from a point x. We characterize inner and boundary points of the set ϕ t (ℝ + d ) and prove that the Hausdorff dimension of the boundary ∂ϕ t (ℝ + d ) does not exceed d − 1. __________ Translated from Ukrains'kyi Matematychnyi Zhurnal, Vol. 57, No. 8, pp. 1069 – 1078, August, 2005.  相似文献

The stochastic equation dX t =dS t +a(t,X t )dt, t≥0, is considered where S is a one-dimensional Levy process with the characteristic exponent ψ(ξ),ξ∈ℝ. We prove the existence of (weak) solutions for a bounded, measurable coefficient a and any initial value X 0=x 0∈ℝ when (ℛeψ(ξ))−1=o(|ξ|−1) as |ξ|→∞. These conditions coincide with those found by Tanaka, Tsuchiya and Watanabe (J. Math. Kyoto Univ. 14(1), 73–92, 1974) in the case of a(t,x)=a(x). Our approach is based on Krylov’s estimates for Levy processes with time-dependent drift. Some variants of those estimates are derived in this note.  相似文献
