The uptake of Zn(II)-SCN complex onto polyurethane foam (PUF) has been investigated in detail with respect to different composition and variable concentration of electrolyte, zinc, thiocyanate ions and PUF, and equilibration time. The sorption data followed both Langmuir and Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) sorption isotherms over the entire concentration range of zinc investigated whereas Freundlich sorption isotherm is obeyed upto 13.6.10-3M concentration. The Langmuir constants Q = 202±7 mmole.g-1 and of b = (1.78±0.31.104 dm3.mole-1 and of D-R paraneter X m = 493±1 mmole.g-1, b = activity coefficient = -0.028±0.0002 and of sorption energy E = 13.2±0.5 kJ.mole-1 and Freundlich constants 1/n = 0.42±0.03 and c m = 6.47±1.7 mmole.g-1 were evaluated. The influence of temperature variation on sorption have yielded DH = -77.5±2.9 kJ.mole-1, DS = -5±0.09 J.mole-1.K-1 and DG = -6.67±0.05 kJ.mole-1. The effect of common anions and cations on the sorption has been examined. Sulphate, ascorbate and bromide ions enhances the sorption to some extent whereas nitrite, Pb(II), Fe(III), Al(III), Cu(II) and Co(II) decrease to sorption significantly. A possible mechanism has been envisaged for Zn(II)-SCN sorption onto PUF.  相似文献

The adsorption of DPKSH onto silica gel was investigated, at 25±1 °C and pH 1, 4.7 and 12. For the same DPKSH concentration interval, the minimum required time of contact for adsorption maximum at pH 4.7 was smaller than at pH 1 and the maximum amount of DPKSH adsorbed per gram of silica at pH 1 is smaller than at pH 4.7. At pH 12 the DPKSH adsorption onto silica gel was not significant. The adsorption data followed Langmuir, Freundlich and Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) isotherms. The maximum amount of solute adsorbed (madsmax) and the adsorption constant, KL, were derived from Langmuir isotherm. The Freundlich constants 1/n and KF related, respectively, to the energetic heterogeneity of adsorption sites and an empirical constant were evaluated. The mean sorption free energy (E) of DPKSH adsorption onto silica gel was calculated from D-R isotherm indicating a physical adsorption mode. Finally, conductimetric titrations showed the silica particle basicity and acidity as 0.002 and 0.3 mmol g−1, respectively.  相似文献

The sorptive potential of sunflower stem (180-300 μm) for Cr(III) ions has been investigated in detail. The maximum sorption (≥85%) of Cr(III) ions (70.2 μM) has been accomplished using 30 mg of high density sunflower stem in 10 min from 0.001 M nitric and 0.0001 M hydrochloric acid solutions. The accumulation of Cr(III) ions on the sorbent follows Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R), Freundlich and Langmuir isotherms. The isotherm yields D-R saturation capacity Xm = 1.60 ± 0.23 mmol g−1, β = −0.00654 ± 0.00017 kJ2 mol−2, mean free energy E = 8.74 ± 0.12 kJ mol−1, Freundlich sorption capacity KF = 0.24 ± 0.11 mol g−1, 1/n = 0.90 ± 0.04 and of Langmuir constant KL = 6800 ± 600 dm3 mol−1 and Cm = 120 ± 18 μmol g−1. The variation of sorption with temperature (283-323 K) gives ΔH = −23.3 ± 0.8 kJ mol−1, ΔS = −64.0 ± 2.7 J mol−1 K−1 and ΔG298k = −4.04 ± 0.09 kJ mol−1. The negative enthalpy and free energy envisage exothermic and spontaneous nature of sorption, respectively. Bisulphate, Fe(III), molybdate, citrate, Fe(II), Y(III) suppress the sorption significantly. The selectivity studies indicate that Cr(III), Eu(III) and Tb(III) ions can be separated from Tc(VII) and I(I). Sunflower stem can be used for the preconcentration and removal of Cr(III) ions from aqueous medium. This cheaper and novel sorbent has potential applications in analytical and environmental chemistry, in water decontamination, industrial waste treatment and in pollution abatement. A possible mechanism of biosorption of Cr(III) ions onto the sunflower stem has been proposed.  相似文献

The kinetics of sorption of the nitrophenols by the unloaded polyurethane foams (PUFs) were found fast, reached equilibrium in few minutes and followed a first-order rate equation with an overall rate constant k in the range (0.16-0.21)±0.01 min−1. The retention of the tested nitrophenols by the unloaded foams is consistent with the “solvent extraction” mechanism. However, the sorption also followed Langmuir, Freundlich and Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) isotherms. The mean free sorption energy of the nitrophenols onto the PUF was found equal to 7.5±0.4 kJ/mol, which reflects physical sorption. Thus, a dual-mode involves both absorption related to solvent extraction and an added component for surface adsorption seems a more likely sorption mechanism model. While a dual-mode sorption model explains the observed retention behavior, the data suggest that, solvent extraction plays a much larger role than the added component for surface adsorption. The sorption and recovery percentages of the nitrophenols from fresh, natural and industrial wastewater by the proposed unloaded foam columns were quantitatively achieved. The height equivalent to theoretical plates (HETP), N, the breakthrough capacity and the critical capacity for the unloaded foam columns were found in the range of (0.8-1.1)±0.6 mm, (94-132)±3, 3.2-4.02 and 1.5-2.67 mg/g, respectively. The method was successfully applied for the retention and recovery of the tested nitrophenols spiked to fresh and industrial wastewaters.  相似文献

The sorption of traces of silver ions onto polyurethane foam (PUF) has been investigated in detail. Maximum sorption of silver (K(d)=6109 cm(3) g(-1), %sorption>97.5%) has been achieved from 1 M nitric acid solution after equilibrating silver ions with approximately 29 mg PUF for 20 min. The kinetics and thermodynamics of the sorption of silver ions onto PUF have also been studied. The sorption of silver ions onto PUF follows a first-order rate equation, which results as 0.177 min(-1). The variation of sorption with temperature yields the values of DeltaH=-56.1+/-3.2 kJ mol(-1), DeltaS=-159.7+/-10.5 J mol(-1) K(-1) and DeltaG=-8.68+/-0.09 kJ mol(-1) at 298 K with a correlation factor gamma=0.9919. The sorption data were subjected to different sorption isotherms. The sorption follows Langmuir, Freundlich and Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) isotherms. The values of Langmuir isotherms Q=65.4+/-1.5 mumol g(-1) and b=(4.79+/-1.16)x10(4) dm(3) mol(-1) have been evaluated for Langmuir sorption constants, whereas the Freundlich sorption isotherm gives the value 1/n=0.12+/-0.02 and A=0.15+/-0.03 mmol g(-1). The D-R parameters computed were beta=-0.000817+/-0.000206 mol(2) kJ(-2), X(m)=76.8+/-8.7 mumol g(-1) and E=24.7+/-3.2 kJ mol(-1). The influence of common ions on the sorption was also examined. It is observed that Hg(II), thiourea, Al(III), thiocyanate and thiosulphate reduce the sorption, whereas Cu(II), citrate and acetate ions enhance the sorption significantly. It can be concluded that PUF may be used to remove traces of silver ions from its very dilute solutions or for its preconcentration from aqueous acidic solutions.  相似文献

Titanium dioxide nanoparticles (nano-TiO2) were employed for the sorption of Te(IV) ions from aqueous solution. A detailed study of the process was performed by varying the sorption time, pH, and temperature. The sorption was found to be fast, equilibrium was reached within 8 min. When the concentration of Te(IV) was below 40 mg L−1, at least 97% of tellurium was adsorbed by nano-TiO2 in the pH range of 1-2 and 8-9. The sorbed Te(IV) ions were desorbed with 2.0 mL of 0.5 mol L−1 NaOH. The sorption data could be well interpreted by the Langmuir model with the maximum adsorption capacity of 32.75 mg g−1 (20 ± 0.1 °C) of Te(IV) on nano-TiO2. The kinetics and thermodynamics of the sorption of Te(IV) onto nano-TiO2 were also studied. The kinetic experimental data properly correlated with the second-order kinetic model (k2 = 0.0368 g mg−1 min−1, 293 K). The overall rate process appeared to be influenced by both boundary layer diffusion and intra-particle diffusion. The mean energy of adsorption was calculated to be 17.41 kJ mol−1 from the Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) adsorption isotherm at room temperature. Moreover, the thermodynamic parameters for the sorption were estimated, and the ΔH0 and ΔG0 values indicated the exothermic and spontaneous nature of the sorption process, respectively. Finally, Nano-TiO2 as sorbent was successfully applied to the separation of Te(IV) from the environmental samples with satisfactory results (recoveries >95%, relative standard deviations was 2.0%).  相似文献

The sorption of Cd(II) on Haro river sand from deionized water is reported. The sorption system obeyed according to the Freundlich and Dubinin–Radushkevich (D-R) isotherms. The Freundlich parameters 1/n = 0.67±0.05 and of A = 1.38±1.14 mmole·g-1 have been ascertained. D-R isotherm yields the values of = -0.003741±0.000321 kJ2·mole-2, X m = 0.23±0.21 mole·g-1 and of E = 11.6±0.5 kJ·mole-1. The influence of common anions and cations on the sorption was examined. Trivalent Bi enhances the sorption whereas Fe, Cr, Al and chromate ions reduce the sorption significantly. Hf(IV) and Ag(I) indicate substantial sorption (61–98%) whereas Gd(III), Re(VII) and Sc(III) show low sorption (<5%). The elements having low sorption can be separated from elements indicating higher sorption using Haro river sand column.  相似文献

A novel sorbent was prepared by the functionalization of an inorganic support material, MCM-41, with N-methylglucamine for the uptake of boron from aqueous solutions prior to its determination by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). Characterization of the newly synthesized material was performed using BET, XRD, TEM, SEM and DRIFTS techniques, in addition to its C and N elemental content. Sorption behavior of the novel sorbent for boron was also investigated and found to obey Freundlich and Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) isotherm models. The maximum amount of B (as H3BO3) that can be sorbed by the sorbent was calculated from the D-R isotherm and was found to be 0.8 mmol B g−1 of sorbent. The applicability of the new sorbent for the removal/preconcentration of boron from aqueous samples was examined by batch method. It was found that the sorbent can take up 85% of boron in 5 min whereas quantitative sorption is obtained in 30 min. Any pH greater than 6 can be used for sorption. Desorption from the sorbent was carried out using 1.0 M HNO3. The sorption efficiency of the new sorbent was also compared to that of Amberlite IRA 743, a commercial resin with N-methylglucamine functional groups. Within the experimental conditions employed, the new sorbent was found to have higher sorption efficiency than the commercial resin. For method validation, spike recovery tests were performed at various concentration levels in different water types and were found to be between 83-95 and 75-92% for ultra pure water and geothermal water, respectively.  相似文献

A new preconcentration method is presented for lead on TAN‐loaded polyurethane foam (PUF) and its measurement by differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry (DPASV). The optimum sorption conditions of 1.29 × 10?5 M solution of Pb(II) ions on TAN‐loaded PUF were investigated. The maximum sorption was observed at pH 7 with 20 minutes equilibrated time on 7.25 mg mL?1 of TAN‐loaded foam. The kinetic study indicates that the overall sorption process was controlled by the intra‐particle diffusion process. The validity of Freundlich, Langmuir and Dubinin ‐ Radushkevich adsorption isotherms were tested. The Freundlich constants 1/n and KF are evaluated to be 0.45 ±0.04 and (1.03 +0.61) × 10?3 mol g?1, respectively. The monolayer sorption capacity and adsorption constant related to the Langmuir isotherm are (1.38 ± 0.08) × 10?5 mol g?1 and (1.46 ± 0.27) × 105 L mol?1, respectively. The mean free energy of Pb(II) ions sorption on‐TAN loaded PUF is 11.04 ± 0.28 kJ mol?1 indicating chemisorption phenomena. The effect of temperature on the sorption yields thermodynamics parameters of ΔH, ΔS and ΔG at 298 K that are 15.0 ± 1.4 kJ mol?1, 74 ±5 J mol?1 K?1 and ‐7.37 ± 0.28 kJ mol?1, respectively. The positive values of enthalpy (ΔH) and entropy (ΔS) indicate the endothermic sorption and stability of the sorbed complexes are entropy driven. However, the negative value of Gibb's free energy (ΔG) indicates the spontaneous nature of sorption. On the basis of these data, the sorption mechanism has been postulated. The effect of different foreign ions on the sorption and desorption studies were also carried out. The method was successfully applied for the determination of lead from different water samples at ng levels.  相似文献

A selective method has been developed for the extraction chromatographic trace level separation of Cu(II) with Versatic 10 (liquid cation exchanger) coated on silanised silica gel (SSG-V10). Cu(II) has been extracted from 0.1 M acetate buffer at the range of pH 4.0–5.5. The effects of foreign ions, pH, flow-rate, stripping agents on extraction and elution have been investigated. Exchange capacity of the prepared exchanger at different temperatures with respect to Cu(II) has been determined. The extraction equilibrium constant (Kex) and different standard thermodynamic parameters have also been calculated by temperature variation method. Positive value of ΔH (7.98 kJ mol−1) and ΔS (0.1916 kJ mol−1) and negative value of ΔG (−49.16 kJ mol−1) indicated that the process was endothermic, entropy gaining and spontaneous. Preconcentration factor was optimized at 74.7 ± 0.2 and the desorption constants Kdesorption1(1.4 × 10−2) and Kdesorption2(9.8 × 10−2) were determined. The effect of pH on Rf values in ion exchange paper chromatography has been investigated. In order to investigate the sorption isotherm, two equilibrium models, the Freundlich and Langmuir isotherms, were analyzed. Cu(II) has been separated from synthetic binary and multi-component mixtures containing various metal ions associated with it in ores and alloy samples. The method effectively permits sequential separation of Cu(II) from synthetic quaternary mixture containing its congeners Bi(III), Sn(II), Hg(II) and Cu(II), Cd(II), Pb(II) of same analytical group. The method was found effective for the selective detection, removal and recovery of Cu(II) from industrial waste and standard alloy samples following its preconcentration on the column. A plausible mechanism for the extraction of Cu(II) has been suggested.  相似文献

The lead (II) biosorption potential of Aspergillus parasiticus fungal biomass has been investigated in a batch system. The initial pH, biosorbent dosage, contact time, initial metal ion concentrations and temperature were studied to optimize the biosorption conditions. The maximum lead (II) biosorption capacity of the fungal biosorbent was found as 4.02 × 10−4 mol g−1 at pH 5.0 and 20°C. The biosorption equilibrium was reached in 70 min. Equilibrium biosorption data were followed by the Langmuir, Freundlich and Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) isotherm models. In regeneration experiments, no significant loss of sorption performance was observed during four biosorption-desorption cycles. The interactions between lead (II) ions and biosorbent were also examined by FTIR and EDAX analysis. The results revealed that biosorption process could be described by ion exchange as dominant mechanism as well as complexation for this biosorbent. The ion exchange mechanism was confirmed by E value obtained from D-R isotherm model as well.  相似文献

The influence of different parameters on the sorption profiles of trace and ultra traces of gold (I) species from the aqueous cyanide media onto the solid sorbents ion exchange polyurethane foams (IEPUFs) and commercial unloaded polyurethane foams (PUFs) based polyether type has been investigated. The retention of gold (I) species onto the investigated solid sorbents followed a first-order rate equation with an overall rate constant k in the range 2.2-2.8 ± 0.2 s−1. The sorption data of gold (I) followed Freundlich and Langmuir isotherm models. Thus, the a dual-mode of sorption mechanism involving absorption related to “weak base anion exchanger” and an added component for “surface adsorption” seems the most likely proposed dual mechanism for retention profile of gold (I) by the IEPUFs and PUFs solid sorbents. The capacity of the IEPUFs and PUFs towards gold (I) sorption calculated from the sorption isotherms was found to be 11.21 ± 1.8 and 5.29 ± 0.9 mg g−1, respectively. The chromatographic separation of the spiked inorganic gold (I) from de ionized water at concentrations 5-15 μg mL−1 onto the developed IEPUFs and PUFs packed columns at 10 mL min−1 flow rate was successfully achieved. The retained gold (I) species were then recovered quantitatively from the IEPUFs (98.4 ± 2.4%, n = 5) and PUFs (95.4 ± 3.4%, n = 5) packed columns using perchloric acid (60 mL, 1.0 mol L−1) as a proper eluating agent. Thiourea (1.0 mol L−1)-H2SO4 (0.1 mol L−1) system was also used as eluating agent for the recovery of gold (I) from IEPUFS (95.4 ± 5.4%, n = 3) and also PUFs (93.4 ± 4.4%, n = 3) packed columns. The performance of the IEPUFs and PUFs packed columns in terms of the height equivalent to the theoretical plates (HETP), number of plates (N), and critical and breakthrough capacities towards gold (I) species were evaluated. The developed IEPUFs packed column was applied successfully for complete retention and recovery (98.5 ± 2.7) of gold (III) species spiked onto tap- and industrial wastewater samples at <10 μg Au mL−1 after reduction to gold (I). The IEPUFs packed column was applied satisfactorily for complete retention and recovery (98.5 ± 2.7) of total inorganic gold (I) and/or gold (III) species spiked to tap- and industrial wastewater samples at <10 μg mL−1 gold. Chromatographic separation of gold (I) from silver (I) and base metal ions (Fe, Ni, Cu and Zn) using IEPUFS packed columns was satisfactorily achieved. The proposed method was applied successfully for the pre-concentration and separation from anodic slime and subsequent FAAS determination of analyte with satisfactory results (recoveries >95%, relative standard deviations <4.0%).  相似文献

Summary The sorption of microquantities of Tm(III) ions on washed polyurethane foam (PUF) from a mixture of aqueous solution and ethanol containing PAN was examined. The maximum sorption of 3.18. 10-6M solution of Tm(III) ions was observed at pH 8 with 30-minute equilibration time. The optimum ratio of aqueous-ethanol phase for the sorption of Tm(III) ions was found to be 3:1 v/v, respectively. The sorption rate of metal ions on PUF is followed a first order kinetics and obeyed the equation for an intra particle diffusion process. The equilibrium concentration data of Tm(III) ions could be described satisfactorily by several adsorption isotherms. The Freundlich adsorption isotherm constants 1/nand KFare 0.66±0.02 and (5.7±0.3). 10-3mol. g-1, respectively. The Langmuir isotherm constants for monolayer coverage (Q) and binding strength of sorption (b) are (2.5±0.7). 10-5mol. g-1and (1.6±0.1). 104l. mol-1, respectively. The sorption capacity derived from Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) isotherm is (1.7±0.2). 10-4mol. g-1and the sorption free energy (E) is 9.8±0.2 kJ. mol-1indicating chemisorption phenomena. The thermodynamic parameters indicate that the sorption of Tm(III) ions onto PUF is endothermic, entropy driven and spontaneous in nature.  相似文献

Pesticides may contaminate ground and surface waters and one of the major factors governing this property is soil sorption. Sorption can be assessed by batch equilibrium technique which produces lots of extracts with high dissolved organic carbon concentration in which the pesticide concentration has to be determined. We developed an ELISA procedure to analyse atrazine based on polyclonal antibodies (C193) for which tracer structure and dilutions of immunochemical reagents were adapted to fit the purpose. After a 1000-fold dilution (or after an SPE clean-up procedure) extracts of a sewage-sludge amended luvisol (used as an example application of the methodology developed) could be reliably analysed. The Freundlich model is able to describe adsorption for this system (r2 = 0.977) delivering a distribution coefficient KF of 1.6 ± 0.2 (mg kg−1) (mg L−1)−N and an isotherm nonlinearity factor N of 0.70 ± 0.09.  相似文献

In this study, natural halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) were applied to remove radiocobalt from wastewaters under various environmental parameters such as contact time, pH, ionic strength, foreign ions and temperature by using batch technique. The results indicated that the sorption of Co(II) on HNTs was dependent on ionic strength at pH < 8.5 and independent of ionic strength at pH > 8.5. Langmuir and Freundlich models were applied to simulate the sorption isotherms of Co(II) at three different temperatures of 293, 313 and 333 K. Langmuir model fitted the sorption isotherms of Co(II) on HNTs better than Freundlich model. The thermodynamic parameters (ΔG 0, ΔS 0 and ΔH 0) calculated from the temperature-dependent sorption isotherms manifested that the sorption of Co(II) on HNTs was an endothermic and spontaneous process. The sorption of Co(II) was dominated by outer-sphere surface complexation or ion exchange at low pH, whereas inner-sphere surface complexation or precipitation was the main sorption mechanism at high pH. The experimental results show that HNTs have good potentialities for cost-effective disposal of cobalt-bearing wastewaters.  相似文献

The sorption of Fe(III) at low pH range from 1 to 4.5 on open cell polyether type HTTA-loaded polyurethane foam has been carried out using batch technique. The optimum shaking time for 2.5· 10–4M solution of Fe(III) was found to be 30 minutes. The concept of macropore and micropore nature of polyurethane foam sorbent offers unique advantages of adsorption. Freundlich and Langmuir adsorption isotherms are followed at low concentration range from 1·10–4 to 3·10–4M solution of Fe(III). The Freundlich constant (1/n=0.46±0.013 andK=9.16±1.39 mg·g–1) and Langmuir isotherm constants(M=21.78 mg·g–1 andb=88.41±9.731·g–1) were established. The sorption mean free energyE=12.22±0.09 kJ·mol–1 and loading capacityC m =145.21±6.1 mg·g–1 were evaluated using Dubinin-Radushkevich isotherm, which suggested that the adsorption mechanism was chemisorption.  相似文献

The accumulation of preheated chromium(III)-thiocyanate complexes onto polyurethane foam (PUF) has been studied. The maximum sorption of Cr(III) (7.01.10-5M) is occurred at pH 2 from 1.2M thiocyanate solution in 10 minute agitation time using 7.25 mg/ml PUF. The sorption data have been investigated by Langmuir, Freundlich and Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) isotherms. The Freundlich parameters 1/n = 0.31 and of K F = 9.7.10-4 mol.g-1, Langmuir constants M = 7.03.10-5 mol.g-1 and of b = 1.5.105 l.mol-1 and of D-R constants, C m = 1.91.10-4 mol.g-1, affinity coefficient b = -0.0023 mol2.kJ-2 and sorption energy E = 14.7 kJ.mol-1 have been evaluated. Thermodynamic parameters of enthalpy, entropy and Gibbs free energy suggest the endothermic and spontaneous adsorption of Cr(III)-SCN complex onto PUF at higher temperature. The influence of common anions and cations on the accumulation of chromium-thiocyanate on PUF and possible sorption mechanism of [Cr(SCN)4]- species on PUF is discussed.  相似文献

The present paper describes the synthesis of a new chemically modified cellulose microfiber through oxidation with sodium periodate and functionalization with N,N′-bis (2-aminoethyl)-1,2-ethanediamine for the fast and selective preconcentration of Cd(II) ions in flow system analysis. The new sorbentsorbent was characterized by FTIR, SEM, and surface area values. The uptake behavior of Cd(II) ions onto this sorbent was evaluated from kinetic data, pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order models, as well as from Langmuir, Freundlich and Langmuir-Freundlich adsorption isotherms. The maximum sorption capacity of 4.59 mg g−1 was estimated by the Langmuir-Freundlich model with fast kinetics for the sorption of Cd(II) described by the pseudo-second-order kinetic model. After characterization, the sorbent was packed in a mini-column, and a fast flow injection preconcentration system for Cd(II) determination by FAAS was developed. The best Cd(II) preconcentration condition, obtained by means of factorial design and response surface methodology, was achieved at pH 9.36 and a flow rate of 10 mL min−1 followed by elution with 1.0 mol L−1 nitric acid. By using 78 s preconcentration time, fast and highly sensitive determination of Cd(II) ions could be achieved with a limit of quantification of 0.20 μg L−1, preconcentration factor of 26, consumption index of 0.5 mL, concentration efficiency of 20 min−1, and sample throughput of 39 h−1. The repeatability for 10 replicate determinations was found to be 7.8 and 2.5% for Cd(II) ion concentrations of 5.0 and 100.0 μg L−1, respectively. The new sorbent efficiency for the interference-free preconcentration of Cd(II) ions was assessed by analysis of tap, mineral and lake waters, as well as synthetic seawater and normal saline waters. Furthermore, complex samples, such as biological samples, could be analysed by the proposed method in accordance with the accuracy attested by analysis of certified reference materials, TORT-2 (lobster hepatopancreas), and DOLT-4 (dogfish liver).  相似文献

In this work, sorption of Ni(II) from aqueous solution to goethite as a function of various water quality parameters and temperature was investigated. The results indicated that the pseudo-second-order rate equation fitted the kinetic sorption well. The sorption of Ni(II) to goethite was strongly dependent on pH and ionic strength. A positive effect of HA/FA on Ni(II) sorption was found at pH < 8.0, whereas a negative effect was observed at pH > 8.0. The Langmuir, Freundlich, and D-R models were applied to simulate the sorption isotherms at three different temperatures of 293.15 K, 313.15 K and 333.15 K. The thermodynamic parameters (ΔH 0, ΔS 0 and ΔG 0) were calculated from the temperature dependent sorption, and the results indicated that the sorption was endothermic and spontaneous. At low pH, the sorption of Ni(II) was dominated by outer-sphere surface complexation or ion exchange with Na+/H+ on goethite surfaces, whereas inner-sphere surface complexation was the main sorption mechanism at high pH.  相似文献

A method is reported for surface grafting of polymer containing a functional monomer for metal chelating, poly[1-(N,N-bis-carboxymethyl)amino-3-allylglycerol-co-dimethylacrylamide] (poly(AGE/IDA-co-DMAA) onto silica modified by silylation with 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane. Monomer 1-(N,N-bis-carboxymethyl)amino-3-allylglycerol (AGE/IDA) was synthesized by reaction of allyl glycidyl ether with iminodiacetic acid. The resulting sorbent has been characterized using FT-IR, elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), FT-Raman and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and evaluated for the preconcentration and determination of trace Pb(II) in human biological fluid and environmental water samples. The optimum pH value for sorption of the metal ion was 5.5. The sorption capacity of functionalized resin was 15.06 mg g−1. The chelating sorbent can be reused for 15 cycles of sorption–desorption without any significant change in sorption capacity. A recovery of 96.2% was obtained for the metal ion with 0.5 M nitric acid as eluting agent. The profile of lead uptake by the sorbent reflects good accessibility of the chelating sites in the poly(AGE/IDA-co-DMAA)-grafted silica gel. Scatchard analysis revealed that the homogeneous binding sites were formed in the polymers. The equilibrium adsorption data of Pb(II) by modified resin were analyzed by Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin and Redlich–Peterson models. On the basis of equilibrium adsorption data the Langmuir, Freundlich and Temkin constants were determined as 0.70, 1.35 and 2.7, respectively at pH 5.5 and 20 °C. Isotherms have also been used to obtain the thermodynamic parameters such as free energy, enthalpy and entropy of adsorption.  相似文献
