We use the recursion method to calculate the vibrational density of states of site percolation clusters slightly above the percolation threshold. It is found that is proportional to at long wavelengths. At shorter length scales, is proportional to , with the fraction dimension . The cross-over from phonon to fraction regime is characterized by a rapid rise in in agreement with effective medium calculations.  相似文献

An approximation procedure for the solution of stochastic nonlinear equations, which was derived from a variational principle in a previous paper, is applied to the problem of a particle that diffuses in a symmetric bistable potential starting from the point of unstable equilibrium. The second moment and variance for the particle's position are calculated as functions of the timet. Good agreement is found with results recently obtained by Baibuzet al. from an approximate evaluation of a path integral expression for the probability density.  相似文献

Dependent on is produced through electrodeposition in three modifications: microcrystalline if , amorphous if and in a mixed state containing both components if . The interpretation of results of large and small angle X-ray scattering, of measurements of the coercivity and of the mechanical density shows that the three modifications consist of two phases. The structure of the grain boundary phase in the microcrystalline alloys differs considerably from that of the amorphous phase. This arises from the dependence of the atomic volume on the average phosphorus content . The volume fraction of the crystalline component decreases with increasing up to . But even in alloys revealing X-ray patterns without any peaks coming from crystalline particles small angle X-ray scattering indicates the existence of metal-rich inclusions occupying some percent of the total volume.  相似文献

We study analogues of the Yangian of the Lie algebra for the other classical Lie algebras and . We call them twisted Yangians. They are coideal subalgebras in the Yangian of and admit homomorphisms onto the universal enveloping algebras U( ) and U( ) respectively. In every twisted Yangian we construct a family of maximal commutative subalgebras parametrized by the regular semisimple elements of the corresponding classical Lie algebra. The images in U( ) and U( ) of these subalgebras are also maximal commutative.  相似文献

Starting from aC*-algebra and a locally compact groupT of automorphisms of we construct a covariance algebra with the property that the corresponding *-representations are in one-to-one correspondence with covariant representations of i.e. *-representations of in which the automorphisms are continuously unitarily implemented. We further construct for relativistic field theory an algebra yielding the *-representations of in which the space time translations have their spectrum contained inV. The problem of denumerable occurence of superselection sectors is formulated as a condition on the spectrum of . We study the coexistence phase in the two-dimensional Ising model. Optimizing the cluster expansion technique, we are able to prove the phase separation phenomenon, with the Onsager value for the surface tension, in a range , where estimates from above the critical within 19% and essentially coincides with the entropic bound.  相似文献

We formulate the equilibrium correlation functions for local observables of an assembly of non-relativistic, neutral gravitating fermions in the limit where the number of particles becomes infinite, and in a scaling where the region , to which they are confined, remains fixed. We show that these correlation functions correspond, in the limit concerned, to states on the discrete tensor product , where the are copies of the gauge invariantC*-algebra of the CAR overL 2(R 3). The ellipsoidal bag model is used to describe heavy quark systems such asQ ,Q g andQ 2 . Instead of two step model, these states are described by an uniform picture. The potential derived from the ellipsoidal bag forQ is almost equivalent to the Cornell potential. For aQ 2 system with large quark pair separation, an improvement of 70 MeV is obtained comparing with the spherical bag.  相似文献

Interpretation of the hyperfine field and isomer shift changes in terms of a spin and charge density changes is given for a series of Fe–Sn alloys. Linear correlations have been revealed for the following57Fe site quantities: the hyperfine field H(0,0) and the isomer shift IS(0,0) of undisturbed neighbour configurations; the average hyperfine field, and the average isomer shift, ; the average hyperfine field and the average number of Sn atoms in the first two neighbour shells, . The latter correlation holds also for the Sn site measurements. From the first two correlations, the following hyperfine coupling constants have been evaluated: (a) for s-like itinerant electrons yielding 183 k0e/s-el., (b) average coupling constant yielding –319 k0e/s-el.. From the correlation between the Fe site and the change in the spin or charge density caused by one Sn atom for unit cell, has been deduced to be equal to 0.27 s-el./Sn-atom/u.c..  相似文献

It is shown that solvable mixed spin ladder models can be constructed from su(N) permutators. Heisenberg rung interactions appear as chemical potential terms in the Bethe Ansatz solution. The expression for free carrier Faraday rotation and for ellipticity , as the function of the applied parallel static electric field and static magnetic field for a given value of wave angular frequency and electron concentration N0, are obtained and theoretically analyzed with the aid of one-dimensional linearized wave theory and Kane's non-parabolic isotropic dispersion law. It is shown that the maximum Faraday rotation occurs near the cyclotron resonance condition, which can be expressed as , where , , and . Here m* and e denote the effective mass and charge of electron, respectively. g is the forbidden bandgap of semiconductor. v0 is the carrier drift velocity, which is a non-linear function of E0 in high field condition. A possibility of a simple way of determining the non-linear v0 vs E0 characteristics of semiconductors by the measurement of Faraday rotation is also discussed.  相似文献

We show that the Ashtekar-Isham extension of the configuration space of Yang-Mills theories is (topologically and measure-theoretically) the projective limit of a family of finite dimensional spaces associated with arbitrary finite lattices.These results are then used to prove that is contained in a zero measure subset of with respect to the diffeomorphism invariant Ashtekar-Lewandowski measure on . We use the real-space renormalization group method to study the critical behavior of self-avoiding walks (SAWs) on both site percolation clusters at percolation threshold and site lattice animals in a square lattice. The correlation length exponents of SAWs are found to be on the percolation clusters atp c and SAW LA =0.804 on lattice animals. These results are compared with Kremer's suggestion of modified Flory formula where is the fractal dimension of the fractal object.  相似文献

Starting from basic concepts, we propose a new kind of free-electron laser (FEL): the pump-free crossed-field FEL in which the condition Eo+Vo×Bo=0 is not satisfied, and the electron orbit without radition fields and undulator or wiggler fields is not straight line (in planar configuration) or cycloid (in magnetron-like configuration). This paper presents a fluid dynamical analysis of the pump-free crossed-field FEL, in which the space charge effect is not taken into consideration. FEL instability is found near resonance .
