We report on the absolute frequency measurement of an extended-cavity diode laser stabilized against a Doppler-free vibration?Crotation transition of the H2 18O isotopologue near 1.384???m. Absolute determination is performed by comparing the water-stabilized laser frequency with respect to a GPS-disciplined Rb microwave standard by means of a self-referenced fiber-based optical frequency comb. The line center frequency of the 22,1??22,0 transition of the H2 18O ??1+??3 combination band is found to be 216?519?045?955(13)?kHz.  相似文献

To resolve the conflict of large measurement range and high accuracy in the existing real-time displacement measurement laser diode (LD) interferometers,a novel real-time displacement measurement LD interferom- etry is proposed and its measurement principle is analyzed.By use of a new phase demodulation algorithm and a new phase compensation algorithm of real-time phase unwrapping,the measurement accuracy is im- proved,and the measurement range is enlarged to a few wavelengths.In experiments,the peak-to-peak amplitude of the speaker vibration was 2361.7 nm,and the repeatability was 2.56 nm.The measurement time was less than 26μs.  相似文献

To achieve a high precision τ mass measurement at the high luminosity experiment BESIII,Monte Carlo simulation and sampling technique are utilized to simulate various data taking cases for single and multiparameter fits by virtue of which the optimal scheme is determined. The optimized proportion of luminosity distributed at selected points and the relation between precision and luminosity are obtained. In addition,the optimization of the fit scheme is confirmed by scrutinizing a variety of fit possibilities.  相似文献

A sinusoidal phase-modulating (SPM) laser diode (LD) interferometer for real-time surface profile measurement is proposed and its principle is analyzed. The phase signal of the surface profile is detected from the sinusoidal phase-modulating interference signal using a real-time phase detection circuit. For 60 x 60 measurement points of the surface profile, the measuring time is 10 ms. A root mean square (RMS) measurement repeatability of 3.93 nm is realized, and the measurement resolution reaches 0.19 nm.  相似文献

The significant variation of the laser output can be caused by feedback of a small part of laser beam, which is reflected or backscattered by a target at a long distance from laser source, into the laser cavity. This paper describes and analyzes theoretically and experimentally the influence of atmospheric turbulence on interference caused by laser feedback. The influence depends upon both the energy of feedback into the laser cavity and the strength of turbulence over a laser propagation path in the atmosphere. In the case of stronger energy of feedback and weak turbulence variance of fluctuation of the laser output can be enhanced by hundreds to thousands times. From our measurements and theoretical analysis it shows that these significant enhancements can result from the change of laser-cavity-modes which can be stimulated simultaneously and from beat oscillations between a variety of frequencies of laser modes. The absolute frequency of an iodine-stabilized He-Ne laser at 633 nm stabilized on the i (or a13) component of the 11-5 R(127) hyperfine transition of the 127I2 molecule is measured using a femtosecond optical comb generator and an iodine-stabilized Nd:YAG laser standard at 1064 nm. We link the measured absolute frequency to the current internationally adopted value via frequency intercomparison between JILA and the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (BIPM), leading to the determination of the absolute frequency of the BIPM-4 standard laser. The resulting absolute frequency fi(BIPM) of the BIPM-4 standard laser is fi(BIPM)=473612214711.9±2.0 kHz, which is 6.9 kHz higher than the value adopted by the Comité International des Poids et Mesures (CIPM) in 1997. The frequency stability of an all-solid-state Nd:YVO4 laser is significantly improved by means of a specially designed Fabry-Perot (F-P) interferometer used for the frequency standard in the frequency-stabilizing system. The ten.peraturo of the F-P cavity is accurately controlled by a set of thermoelectric cooler (TEC) modules attached on th dy of the cavity and the electronic feedback circuit. We find that the long-term unidirectional frequency shift of the output laser, resulting from the slow increase of the cavity length under the effect of the temperature integration on the cavity body, is essentially eliminated. The frequency stability of the output laser with the power of 530 mW is better than ±200 kHz in 1 minute and ±2.3 MHz iu 40 minutes, respectively. The fluctuation of output power is smaller than ±0.5% over one hour.  相似文献

A micro-Gal absolute gravimeter based on high-precision and high-stability heterodyne interferometer is presented.The distance measuring technology of the gravimeter is studied in detail.The experimental results of distance measuring for a free-falling motion show that the high-precision heterodyne interfer- ometer described in this paper can meet the demand of a micro-Gal absolute gravimeter with relative uncertainty of 6.4×10~(-9).Moreover,the heterodyne interferometer is more stable than the Mach-Zehnder interferometer(MZI)which is widely used in present absolute gravimeters.  相似文献

利用光纤飞秒光频梳和外腔可调谐半导体激光器, 建立了一套双频He-Ne激光器频率测量系统. 选用铷钟作为系统的频率基准, 通过将外腔半导体激光锁定至光频梳使得其频率溯源至铷钟, 再利用外腔可调谐半导体激光与双频He-Ne激光器输出的正交偏振激光拍频, 同时测量两路正交偏振激光频率. 将可调谐半导体激光器锁定至光频梳第1894449个梳齿, 其绝对频率为473612190000.0±2.7 kHz, 相对不确定度为5.7×10-12. 对商品双频He-Ne激光器进行频率测量实验, 双频He-Ne激光器水平方向偏振激光频率均值为473612229934 kHz, 竖直方向偏振激光频率均值为473612232111 kHz, 平均时间为1024 s的相对Allan标准差为5.2×10-11, 频差均值为2.177 MHz, 标准偏差为2 kHz.  相似文献

提出了一种基于双折射双频激光器中的调频回馈效应的位移测量系统,并在实验和理论两方面进行了研究.实验中保持回馈外腔长度不变,将一四分之一波片置于激光器内腔中,调制内腔长度,激光器的中心频率发生改变,激光器输出强度将发生周期性的变化.研究发现激光强度曲线的波动频率正比于回馈外腔长度与内腔长度之比.当该位移测量系统的外腔长度是内腔长度的6倍时,被测物体每移动半个光波长,激光强度波动12次,系统分辨率可以达到二十四分之一光波长.理论分析与实验结果相符合.研究表明该位移测量系统具有高分辨率、大测量范围、可工作于任意回馈水平等特点. 关键词: 调频回馈 位移测量 双折射双频激光器 强度波动频率  相似文献

提出了一种基于双频激光回馈效应的位移测量系统,并在理论和实验两方面进行了研究.实验中对激光器输出功率变化进行了探测,同时对两正交偏振光的光强变化进行了探测.研究发现当被测物体移动时,激光器输出功率受到调制,物体每移动半个光波长时,回馈信号为调制深度相等的两峰,系统分辨率提高了一倍,达到四分之一光波长.当物体运动方向改变时,两正交偏振光的光强变化顺序也随之改变,可以实现物体位移方向的判断.理论分析及模拟结果与实验结果相符合.研究表明该位移传感系统具有结构简单、分辨率高、可判向、测量范围大、可工作于强回馈区等优点. 关键词: 激光回馈 位移传感 自混合干涉 双频激光器  相似文献

A novel configuration using only one Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) for photonic-assisted instantaneous microwave frequency measurement is proposed. The amplitude comparison function (ACF), related to the input microwave frequency while independent of the input optical power and modulate index, is achieved by using a ratio of low-pass to bandpass frequency responses introduced by intensity and phase modulation with a shared MZI. The microwave frequency can be estimated by the measured ACF. A proof-of-concept experiment for measurement of RF from 5 to 10 GHz is successfully demonstrated with the measurement errors less than ± 0.2 GHz.  相似文献

为了实现更高分辨率的激光频率扫描干涉测量, 增大光源的扫频范围以及减小扫描频率的非线性成为关键. 采用外腔式大带宽扫频光源结合光纤辅助干涉仪构建的外部时钟频率采样非线性校正是目前较为常用的方法. 本研究发现随着扫频带宽和测量范围的增加, 光纤辅助干涉仪与测量光路中存在的色散失配导致频谱出现严重展宽, 极大的降低了测量的分辨率. 本文建立了辅助干涉仪和测量干涉仪色散失配影响的理论模型, 利用该模型分析了扫频带宽和测量范围与测量分辨率的变化关系, 与实验结果相一致, 并进而提出了基于峰值演化消畸变的色散相位补偿方法, 有效地提高了测量的分辨率, 在2.53 m 处实现了接近理论值的64.5 μm的测量分辨率. 该色散失配模型及补偿方法为提高大尺寸激光频率扫描干涉仪的测量分辨率及测距范围提供了参考.  相似文献

提高大型机电设备的加工水平,动态在线测量是关键。将线性调频半导体激光器应用于动态测量,对目标的位置及移动的速度、加速度等实现准实时测量,可对加工过程实现动态补偿;依靠系统的自校准,消除半导体激光器的老化对激光波长的影响,使得测量精度得以保证,进而使其实用化成为可能;待测的参数是拍频的频率,即测量精度与半导体激光器的输出光功率无关,加之频率是数字量,便于和微机相连组成自动测控系统。系统静态相对测量精度为3×10-4。整个测量系统体积小、结构简单,便于实现生产和现场安装,可广泛应用于大型机电设备的静态、动态测量。  相似文献

 为了克服一般绝对距离测量方法量程和精度不能同时满足的问题,提出一种相位激光测距与外差干涉相结合的绝对距离测量方案。该方案使用相位激光测距技术进行粗测,双纵模He-Ne激光器外差干涉测长技术进行精测,保证两者结合的单值性。建立测量系统,对方案的可行性进行了实验验证,并对影响系统稳定性的因素进行了分析。与双频激光干涉仪的比对结果表明:测量标准差优于1mm,可以满足一些大尺寸的测量精度要求。  相似文献

Strong optical feedback in a birefringent dual frequency He--Ne laser with a high reflectivity feedback mirror has been investigated for the first time. The output characteristics of two orthogonally polarized modes are demonstrated in two different optical feedback cases: one is for both modes being fed back and the other is for only one of the modes being fed back. Strong mode competition can be observed between the two modes with strong optical feedback. And when one mode's intensity is near its maximum, the other mode is nearly extinguished. When both modes are fed back into the laser cavity, the mode competition is stronger than when only one mode is fed back. The difference in initial intensity between the two orthogonally polarized modes plays an important role in the mode competition, which has been experimentally and theoretically demonstrated.  相似文献

大空间精密测量在重大装备制造、空间科技、国防工业等方面发挥着重要作用,激光高精度绝对长度测量是大空间精密测量领域的重要研究课题.调频连续波激光测距是近年来激光绝对测距研究的热点,它克服了脉冲法测量分辨率低和相位法激光测距存在2π缠绕模糊度问题的缺点,有着测量精度高、量程大的优点.本文研究了调频连续波激光测距的原理,分析了影响其测距分辨率的主要原因,证明了利用等光频间隔采样来抑制激光调制非线性对测距结果影响的可行性.该方法可以提高测距分辨率,且系统构成简单、实用性强.搭建了光纤调频连续波激光测距系统,并加入了辅助干涉光路对测量信号进行等光频间隔采样.利用该系统进行了测距分辨率实验,实验结果表明,本系统测量分辨率可以达到50μm,测量范围达到了10m.  相似文献
