A characterization of BMO in terms of endpoint bounds for commutators of singular integrals

We provide a characterization of BMO in terms of endpoint boundedness of commutators of singular integrals. In particular, in one dimension, we show that ∥b∥_BMO ? B, where B is the best constant in the endpoint L log L modular estimate for the commutator [H, b]. We provide a similar characterization of the space BMO in terms of endpoint boundedness of higher order commutators of the Hilbert transform. In higher dimension we give the corresponding characterization of BMO in terms of the first order commutators of the Riesz transforms. We also show that these characterizations can be given in terms of commutators of more general singular integral operators of convolution type.     

Maximal commutators of BMO functions and singular integral operators with non-smooth kernels on spaces of homogeneous type

Let X be a space of homogeneous type in the sense of Coifman and Weiss. In this paper, via a new Cotlar type inequality linking commutators and corresponding maximal operators, a weighted Lp(X) estimate with general weights and a weak type endpoint estimate with A₁(X) weights are established for maximal operators corresponding to commutators of BMO(X) functions and singular integral operators with non-smooth kernels.     

A ∞ weight estimates for vector-valued commutators of multilinear fractional integral

In this paper, the authors get the Coifman type weighted estimates and weak weighted LlogL estimates for vector-valued generalized commutators of multilinear fractional integral with w ∈ A∞. Furthermore, both the boundedness of vector-valued multilinear frac- tional integral and the weak weighted LlogL estimates for vector-valued multilinear fractional integral are also obtained.     

Weighted estimates for commutators of singular integral operators with non-smooth kernels

In this paper, we establish the boundedness of commutators of singular integral operators with non-smooth kernels on weighted Lipschitz spaces Lipβ,ω. The condition on the kernel in this paper is weaker than the usual pointwise H¨ormander condition.     

Weighted Oscillation and Variation Inequalities for Singular Integrals and Commutators Satisfying Hrmander Type Conditions

This paper is devoted to investigating the weighted L~p-mapping properties of oscillation and variation operators related to the families of singular integrals and their commutators in higher dimension. We establish the weighted type(p, p) estimates for 1 p ∞ and the weighted weak type(1,1) estimate for the oscillation and variation operators of singular integrals with kernels satisfying certain Hormander type conditions, which contain the Riesz transforms, singular integrals with more general homogeneous kernels satisfying the Lipschitz conditions and the classical Dini's conditions as model examples. Meanwhile, we also obtain the weighted L~p-boundeness for such operators associated to the family of commutators generated by the singular integrals above with BMO(R~d)-functions.

本文研究了一类次线性算子及其交换子在齐型空间上的弱有界性的问题.利用齐型空间的基本性质以及给出的一类次线性算子及其分别与BMO函数,Lipschitz函数生成的交换子在L~p(X)上的弱有界性,证明了其在齐型空间上Morrey-Herz空间中的弱有界性.推广了该类算子在Morrey-Herz空间中的强有界性这一结果.     

A predual of a predual of <Emphasis Type="Italic">B</Emphasis><Subscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">σ</Emphasis></Subscript> and its applications to commutators

A predual of B_σ-spaces is investigated. A predual of a predual of B_σ-spaces is also investigated, which can be used to investigate the boundedness property of the commutators. The relation between Herz spaces and local Morrey spaces is discussed. As an application of the duality results, one obtains the boundedness of the singular integral operators, the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operators and the fractional integral operators, as well as the commutators generated by the bounded mean oscillation (BMO) and the singular integral operators. What is new in this paper is that we do not have to depend on the specific structure of the operators. The results on the boundedness of operators are formulated in terms of ?_σ-spaces and B_σ-spaces together with the detailed comparison of the ones in Herz spaces and local Morrey spaces. Another application is the nonsmooth atomic decomposition adapted to B_σ-spaces.     

Boundedness for iterated commutators on the mixed norm spaces

This paper studies the iterated commutators on mixed norm spaces L²(?) characterizing the conjugate holomorphic symbols for which the corresponding iterated commutators are bounded by using the Bergman geometry, properties of holomorphic functions and related analysis.     

Weighted endpoint estimates for commutators of multilinear fractional integral operators

Let m be a positive integer, 0 < α < mn, $\overrightarrow b $ = (b ₁, …, b _m ) ε BMO ^m . We give sufficient conditions on weights for the commutators of multilinear fractional integral operators ${\rm I}_a^{\overrightarrow b }$ to satisfy a weighted endpoint inequality which extends the result in D. Cruz-Uribe, A. Fiorenza: Weighted endpoint estimates for commutators of fractional integrals, Czech. Math. J. 57 (2007), 153–160. We also give a weighted strong type inequality which improves the result in X. Chen, Q. Xue: Weighted estimates for a class of multilinear fractional type operators, J. Math. Anal. Appl., 362, (2010), 355–373.     

THE BANACH-LIE GROUP OF LIE TRIPLE AUTOMORPHISMS OF AN H^＊-ALGEBRA^＊

We study the Banach-Lie group Ltaut(A) of Lie triple automorphisms of a complex associative H*-algebra A. Some consequences about its Lie algebra, the algebra of Lie triple derivations of A, Ltder(A), are obtained. For a topologically simple A, in the infinite-dimensional case we have Ltaut(A)0 = Aut(A) implying Ltder(A) = Der(A). In the finite-dimensional case Ltaut(A)0 is a direct product of Aut(A) and a certain subgroup of Lie derivations δ from A to its center, annihilating commutators.     

Extrapolation with weights, rearrangement-invariant function spaces, modular inequalities and applications to singular integrals

We present an extrapolation theory that allows us to obtain, from weighted L^p inequalities on pairs of functions for p fixed and all A_∞ weights, estimates for the same pairs on very general rearrangement invariant quasi-Banach function spaces with A_∞ weights and also modular inequalities with A_∞ weights. Vector-valued inequalities are obtained automatically, without the need of a Banach-valued theory. This provides a method to prove very fine estimates for a variety of operators which include singular and fractional integrals and their commutators. In particular, we obtain weighted, and vector-valued, extensions of the classical theorems of Boyd and Lorentz-Shimogaki. The key is to develop appropriate versions of Rubio de Francia's algorithm.     

Weighted Lp Estimates for Maximal Commutators of Multilinear Singular Integrals

This paper is concerned with the pointwise estimates for the sharp function of two kinds of maximal commutators of multilinear singular integral operators T∑b^＊ and TПb^＊ which are generalized by a weighted BMO function b and a multilinear singular integral operator T, respectively. As applications, some commutator theorems are established.     

Subclasses of bi-univalent functions defined by convolution

In this paper, we introduced two new subclasses of the function class Σ of bi-univalent functions analytic in the open unit disc defined by convolution. Furthermore, we find estimates on the coefficients ∣a₂∣ and ∣a₃∣ for functions in these new subclasses.     

Pseudo-differential operators with nonregular symbols of the class Sm p ρ

Pseudo-differntial operators of the nonregular class S^m _pρ (r,N) are studied on Sobolev and Besov spaces for 1 ≤P≤ ∞. A symbolic calculus for compositions and the adjoint operator is developed. Applications to commutators are given. In particular, commutators of Calderō type are discussed.     

Specialization of Appell's functions to univariate hypergeometric functions

Univariate specializations of Appell's hypergeometric functions F₁, F₂, F₃, F₄ satisfy ordinary Fuchsian equations of order at most 4. In special cases, these differential equations are of order 2 and could be simple (pullback) transformations of Euler's differential equation for the Gauss hypergeometric function. The paper classifies these cases, and presents corresponding relations between univariate specializations of Appell's functions and univariate hypergeometric functions. The computational aspect and interesting identities are discussed.     

Procyclic coverings of commutators in profinite groups

We consider profinite groups in which all commutators are contained in a union of finitely many procyclic subgroups. It is shown that if G is a profinite group in which all commutators are covered by m procyclic subgroups, then G possesses a finite characteristic subgroup M contained in G′ such that the order of M is m-bounded and G′/M is procyclic. If G is a pro-p group such that all commutators in G are covered by m procyclic subgroups, then G′ is either finite of m-bounded order or procyclic.     

Functional inequalities involving special functions

Let up(x) be the generalized and normalized Bessel function depending on parameters b,c,p and let σ(r)=up(1−r²)/up(r²), r∈(0,1). Motivated by an open problem of Anderson, Vamanamurthy, and Vuorinen we prove that for all r₁,r₂∈(0,1) for certain conditions on the parameters b,c,p.     

Basic Commutators in Weights Six and Seven as Relators

Charles Sims has asked whether or not the lower central subgroup γ _n (F) of a free group F coincides with the normal closure in F of the basic commutators of weight n. This question has a positive answer in weights at most 5, but remains an open question in general. In earlier work with Gaglione and Spellman, it was shown that γ _n (F) is the normal closure in F of the basic commutators of weights n through 2n ? 4. Here, we specialize to the case where F has rank 2 and show that γ₆(F) is the normal closure in F of the basic commutators of weights 6 and 7.     

On the dependence of the reflection operator on boundary conditions for biharmonic functions

The biharmonic equation arises in areas of continuum mechanics including linear elasticity theory and the Stokes flows, as well as in a radar imaging problem. We discuss the reflection formulas for the biharmonic functions u(x,y)∈R² subject to different boundary conditions on a real-analytic curve in the plane. The obtained formulas, generalizing the celebrated Schwarz symmetry principle for harmonic functions, have different structures. In particular, in the special case of the boundary, Γ₀:={y=0}, reflections are point-to-point when the given on Γ₀ conditions are u=n_∂u=0, u=Δu=0 or n_∂u=n_∂Δu=0, and point to a continuous set when u=n_∂Δu=0 or n_∂u=Δu=0 on Γ₀.
