Synthesis, I.R. Spectrum, and Crystal Structure of PPh4[OsCl4(NO)(NSCl)] Molten trithiazyl chloride reacts with OsCl3(NO) to yield a product mixture consisting mainly of S4N3[OsCl4(NO)(NSCl)] and S4N3Cl. Extraction of this mixture with a solution of tetraphenylphosphonium chloride in dichloromethane affords green (PPh4)2[OsCl5(NO)] · 2 CH2Cl2 and the red title compound. PPh4[OsCl4(NO)(NSCl)] was characterized by its IR spectrum and an X-ray crystal structure analysis (3001 independent observed reflexions, R = 0.048). Crystal data: monoclinic, space group P21/c, Z = 4, a = 1716, b = 1054, c = 1588 pm, β = 96.25°. The compound consists of PPh4⊕ cations and [OsCl4(NO)(NSCl)]? anions in which the nitrosyl and the chlorothionitrene ligands have a cis arrangement. Due to positional disorder the NO and NSCl groups are superimposed statistically in the structure model.  相似文献

Thiocomplexes of Molybdenum. Crystal Structure of a Mixed Single Crystal (PPh3Me)2[Mo2Br6(NO)4]/(PPh3Me)2[Mo2Br6S2(NO)2] The reactions of (PPh4)2MoS4 with MoBr4 and MoBr2(NO)2 resp. lead to the binuclear complexes (PPh4)2[S2MoS2MoBr3(SMe2)] and (PPh4)[S2MoS2MoBr2(NO)2], in which the molybdenum atoms are linked by sulfido bridges. The preparation of (PPh3Me)2S6 and (AsPh4)2S7 from Na2S4 and PPh3MeBr, and AsPh4Cl, respectively, in ethanol solution is described. Disulfido briges are a feature of (AsPh4)2[Mo2Br6(S2)2(SMe2)2], which is obtained from MoBr4(SMe2)2 and (AsPh4)2S7. Mixed single crystals containing 2/3 (PPh3Me)2[Mo2Br6(NO)4] and 1/3 (PPh3Me)2[Mo2Br6S2(NO)2] are formed in the reaction of MoBr2(NO)2 with (PPh3Me)2S6, as shown by X-ray single crystal structure determination. The compound crystallizes monoclinic in the space group C2/c (Internat. Tab. Nr. 15) with four formula units per unit cell (2351 independent observed reflexions, Rw = 0.037). The cell parameters are a = 1603 pm, b = 1549 pm, c = 1863 pm; β = 92.2°. The complexes consist of PPh3Me cations and the dimeric anions [Mo2Br6(NO)4]2? and [Mo2Br6S2(NO)2]2? which occur in the ratio 2:1. In these the molybdenum atoms are connected via MoBr2Mo bridges of slightly different lengths (Mo? Br 265 pm and 267 pm) forming a controsymmetric double octahedron. All molybdenum atoms have two terminal bromo ligands with Mo? Br bond lengths of 258 pm and 260 pm; in the [Mo2Br6(NO)4]2? ion each molybdenum has two covalently bonded nitrosyl groups on cis-position with Mo? N bond lengths of 183 pm. In the [Mo2Br6S2(NO)2]2? ion one of the two nitrosyl groups at each metal atom is substituted by a terminal sulfido ligand with a Mo? S bond length of 240 pm. The i.r. spectra are reported.  相似文献

Reaction of Tin Chlorides with Polysulfides. Crystal Structures of (PPh4)2[SnCl2(S6)2], (PPh4)2[Sn4Cl4S5(S3)O], and (PPh4)2[SnCl6] · S8 · 2CH3CN . The reaction of PPh4[SnCl3] with Na2S4 in acetonitrile in the presence of small amounts of water yields (PPh4)2[Sn4Cl4S5(S3)O] and minor amounts of (PPh4)2[SnCl2(S6)2], PPh4Cl · 2S8 and (PPh4)2[SnCl6]. SnCl4 is partially reduced by (PPh4)2Sx, PPh4[SnCl3] and (PPh4)2[SnCl6] · S8 · 2CH3CN being produced. According to the X-ray crystal structure determination the [Sn4Cl4S5(S3)O]2?-ion consists of an O atom that is coordinated by four Sn atoms which in turn are liked with one another by five single S atoms and one S3 group. In the [SnCl2(S6)2]2?-ion the Sn atom is octahedrally coordinated by two Cl atoms in trans arrangement and by two chelating S6 groups. Octahedral [SnCl6]2? ions and S8 molecules in the crown conformation are present in (PPh4)4[SnCl6] · S8 · 2CH3CN.  相似文献

Thionitrosyl Complexes of Osmium. Crystal Structure of AsPh4[OsCl4(NS)2Cl] The reaction of osmium pentachloride with trithiazyl chloride (NSCl)3 yields the thiazylchloride complex [OsCl4(NSCl)2], from which the thionitrosyl complex AsPh4[OsCl4(NS)2Cl] is obtained by reaction with AsPh4Cl in CH2Cl2. From this, the neutral thionitrosyl complex [OsCl4(NS)2] forms by chloride abstraction with gallium trichloride. The crystal structure of AsPh4[OsCl4(NS)2Cl] was determined and refined with the aid of X-ray diffraction data (R = 0.033, 2161 reflexions). It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with four formula units per unit cell. The lattice constants are a = 1735, b = 1058, c = 1578 pm and β 95.64°. In the [OsCl4(NS)2Cl]? ion the osmium is octahedrally coordinated by four Cl atoms and two NS groups in a cis arrangement. The NS groups are essentially linear with the bond lengths Os?N 184 pm and N?S 146 pm. Loosely attached to one of the S atoms there is a Cl atom (S? Cl distance 228 pm); in the crystal it statistically belongs to both S atoms with an occupation probability of one half, and it cannot be decided whether there is a dynamical fluctuation between the S atoms or a static positional disorder. However, according to the i.r. spectrum the dynamical model seems more probable.  相似文献

Treatment of the osmabenzene [Os{CHC(PPh3)CHC(PPh3)CH} Cl2(PPh3)2]Cl ( 1 ) with excess 8‐hydroxyquinoline produces monosubstituted osmabenzene [Os{CH C(PPh3) CHC(PPh3)CH}(C9H6NO)Cl(PPh3)]Cl ( 2 ) or disubstituted osmabenzene [Os{CHC(PPh3)CHC(PPh3)CH} (C9H6NO)2]Cl ( 3 ) under different reaction conditions. Osmabenzene 2 evolves into cyclic η2‐allene‐coordinated complex [Os{CH?C(PPh3)CH=(η2‐C?CH2)}(C9H6NO)(PPh3)2]Cl ( 4 ) in the presence of excess PPh3 and NaOH, presumably involving a P? C bond cleavage of the metallacycle. Reaction of 4 with excess 8‐hydroxyquinoline under air affords the SNAr product [(C9H6NO)Os{CHC(PPh3)CHCHC} (C9H6NO)(PPh3)]Cl ( 5 ). Complex 4 is fairly reactive to a nucleophile in the presence of acid, which could react with water to give carbonyl complex [Os{CH?C(PPh3)CH?CH2}(C9H6NO) (CO)(PPh3)2]Cl ( 6 ). Complex 4 also reacts with PPh3 in the presence of acid and results in a transformation to [Os {CHC(PPh3)CHCHC}(C9H6NO)Cl (PPh3)2]Cl ( 7 ) and [Os{CH?C(PPh3) CH=(η2‐C?CH(PPh3))}(C9H6NO) Cl(PPh3)]Cl ( 8 ). Further investigation shows that the ratio of 7 and 8 is highly dependent on the amount of the acid in the reaction.  相似文献

Azido Complexes of Manganese(II) and Cobalt(II). Crystal Structures of (PPh4)2[Mn(N3)4] and PPh42[Co(N3)3Cl] (PPh4)2[Mn(N3)4] and (PPh4)2[Co(N3)3Cl] were obtained as light-brown and green blue, nonexplosive crystalline compounds, respectively. They are only slightly sensitive to moisture and were obtained from the tetrachloro complexes (PPh4)2MCl4 by reactions with silver azide in dichloromethane. The compounds were characterized by thier i.r. spectra and by crystal structure analyses. Both crystallized in the monoclinic space group C2/c, Z = 4, but they are not isotypic. (PPh4)2[Mn(N3)4]: structure determination with 711 independent reflexions, R = 0.097; a = 2249.1, b = 1499.6, c = 1370.3 pm, β = 104.86°. (PPh4)2[Co(N3)Cl]: 2753 reflexions, R = 0.075; a = 1119.7, b = 1899.2, c = 2115.4 pm, β = 90.47°. The structures consist of PPh4+ ions and of anions that are situated on twofold crystallographic rotation axes. The anions show positional disorder, statistically assuming two different orientations with probabilities of 50% each; in the case of [Co(N3)3Cl]2?, the Cl atom is superimposed statistically with an azido group, whereas the [Mn(N3)4]2? ion is tilted by about 20° from the ideal position to two sides of the crystallographic axis. In both compounds the cation form layers and the anions are located between the layers.  相似文献

The reactions of phosphonium‐substituted metallabenzenes and metallapyridinium with bis(diphenylphosphino)methane (DPPM) were investigated. Treatment of [Os{CHC(PPh3)CHC(PPh3)CH}Cl2(PPh3)2]Cl with DPPM produced osmabenzenes [Os{CHC(PPh3)CHC(PPh3)CH}Cl2{(PPh2)CH2(PPh2)}]Cl ( 2 ), [Os{CHC(PPh3)CHC(PPh3)CH}Cl{(PPh2)CH2(PPh2)}2]Cl2 ( 3 ), and cyclic osmium η2‐allene complex [Os{CH?C(PPh3)CH?(η2‐C?CH)}Cl2{(PPh2)CH2(PPh2)}2]Cl ( 4 ). When the analogue complex of osmabenzene 1 , ruthenabenzene [Ru{CHC(PPh3)CHC(PPh3)CH}Cl2(PPh3)2]Cl, was used, the reaction produced ruthenacyclohexadiene [Ru{CH?C(PPh3)CH?C(PPh3)CH}Cl{(PPh2)CH2(PPh2)}2]Cl2 ( 6 ), which could be viewed as a Jackson–Meisenheimer complex. Complex 6 is unstable in solution and can easily be convert to the cyclic ruthenium η2‐allene complexes [Ru{CH?C(PPh3)CH?(η2‐C?CH)}Cl{(PPh2)CH2(PPh2)}2]Cl2 ( 7 ) and [Ru{CH?C(PPh3)CH?(η2‐C?CH)}Cl2{(PPh2)CH2(PPh2)}2]Cl ( 8 ). The key intermediates of the reactions have been isolated and fully characterized, further supporting the proposed mechanism for the reactions. Similar reactions also occurred in phosphonium‐substituted metallapyridinium [OsCl2{NHC(CH3)C(Ph)C(PPh3)CH}(PPh3)2]BF4 to give the cyclic osmium η2‐allene‐imine complex [OsCl2{NH?C(CH3)C(Ph)?(η2‐C?CH)}{(PPh2)CH2(PPh2)}(PPh3)]BF4 ( 11 ).  相似文献

The [OsH(CO)(NCMe)2(PPh3)2]BF4 complex (1) is an efficient and regioselective precatalyst for the hydrogenation of the nitrogen-containing ring of quinoline (Q), isoquinoline (iQ), 5,6- and 7,8-benzoquinoline (BQ), and acridine (A) under mild reaction conditions (125 °C and 4 atm H2). Kinetic studies of the hydrogenation of Q and iQ to give tetrahydroquinoline (THQ) and tetrahydroisoquinoline (THiQ), respectively, lead to the rate law r = K 1 k 2/(1 + K 1[H2])[Os][H2]2, which becomes r = K 1 k 2[Os][H2]2, at low hydrogen concentrations (below 1 atm H2); the catalytically active species is of the type [OsH(CO)(L)( 1-N)(PPh3)2]BF4 [(2a): L = NCMe, N = Q; (2b): L = N = iQ]. The generic mechanisms involve a rapid and partial hydrogenation of the coordinated substrate (N) of complex (2) to yield the corresponding dihydroderivative (DHN) species [OsH(CO)(L)( 1-DHN)(PPh3)2]BF4 [(3a): L = NCMe, DHN = DHQ; (3b): L = iQ or THiQ, DHN = DHiQ], followed by the rate-determining second hydrogenation of the DHN ligand, which yield [OsH(CO)(L)( 1-THN)(PPh3)2]BF4 [(4a): L = NCMe, THN = THQ; (4b): L = iQ or THiQ, THN = THiQ]; substitution of the THN ligand by a new molecule of the respective substrate regenerates the active species and restarts the catalytic cycle. For the hydrogenation of acridine to give 9,10-dihidroacridine (acridane), the rate law was r = k 1[Os][H2]; the mechanism involves the hydrogenation of the active species [OsH(CO)(NCMe)( 1-A)(PPh3)2]BF4 (2c) to yield acridane and the unsaturated species [OsH(CO)(NCMe)(PPh3)2]BF4 as the rate-determining step.  相似文献

(PPh4)2[MoN(N3)3Cl2 is characterized by a structural analysis based upon X-ray data: space group P1 , Z = 1, a = 1050.7 pm; b = 1185.4 pm; c = 1190.8 pm; α = 98.90°; β = 106.87°; γ = 103.97° (4505 independent, observed reflexions, R = 0.039). The compound consists of PPh4⊕ cations and centrosymmetric anions [MoN(N3)3Cl22? in which the molybdenum atoms are bridged by the Nα atoms of two azide groups; the resulting Mo? N bond lengths are 208 pm and 260 pm. In trans position to the long Mo? N bond the terminal nitrido ligand is situated, the Mo?N distance of 164 pm corresponds to a triple bond. Two terminal azido ligands and the chloro ligand are filling up the coordination sphere of the molybdenum atoms to a coordination number of six. The i.r. spectrum is reported and assigned.  相似文献
