The reaction of selenienyl alkynyl ketones with thiophenol and butyl mercaptan gave good yields of selenienylketovinyl sulfides. The corresponding sulfones were obtained from some of the sulfides by oxidation with hydrogen peroxide. The mass spectra of 2- and 3-phenylthiophenes and their phenyl-d5 counterparts reveal that the thienyl ring is markedly more reactive than the phenyl ring under electron impact. In one process, that leading to loss of C2H2S, the atoms lost are apparently derived solely from the thienyl ring, quite probably from the original molecular configuration.  相似文献

New stibine and bismuthine substituted thienyl ring compounds, i.e. tris(3‐methyl‐2‐thienyl)stibine (1), tris(3‐methyl‐2‐thienyl)bismuthine (2), tris(3‐thienyl)stibine (3), tris(3‐thienyl)bismuthine (4) and tris(5‐chloro‐2‐thienyl)stibine (5), have been synthesized and characterized by IR, mass, 1H, 13C, COSY, and HETCOR NMR spectroscopy. The metal centres in all compounds are pyramidal, and molecules in the stibine compound (1) and bismuthine compound (2) associate via Sb···S or Bi···S interactions to form supramolecular chains. The cytotoxicity of compounds 1 and 5 was determined. For compound 5, 85% of carcinogenic cell growth inhibition (U, K and H) was observed. Compound 1 shows a significant selectivity (>80%) for carcinogenic cell growth (K and U) inhibition. Both the compounds are highly toxic for the growth of normal lymphocytes with ~95% lethality. Carbon-13 NMR spectra of mono- and disubstituted aromatic compounds including DDT, its analogues, homologues, derivatives and certain model compounds have been studied. The Savitsky scheme of carbon chemical shifts in disubstituted benzenes is applicable to these compounds. The data obtained show that in mono- and disubstituted aromatic compounds containing two different substituents in the α- and β-positions of the side chain, the substituted ring carbon atom shifts follow the additivity rule and can be calculated from substituent increments. Mutual effects of substituents in the ring and in the side chains are analysed. The chlorine atoms in α-position to the phenyl ring give rise to an additive α-effect of about 25 ppm, as in perchloroalkanes. The influence of a β-chlorine atom in the side chain on the substituted carbon atom in the ring is, however, only 3 ppm as against the usual value of about 10 ppm for the β-effect in alkyl chains. Moreover, the first β-chlorine substituent has no noticeable influence on the substituted ring carbon chemical shift: the effect of 3 ppm is transferred to the para-carbon atom almost without attenuation. The ring substituted carbon atom signal shifts caused by the γ-effect of chlorine in the side chain are similar to those observed in aliphatic chains. The ortho-chlorine substituents shift the side chain α-carbon atom signal by 3.6-5.2 ppm to high field compared to para-chlorophenyl compounds. This is similar to the chlorine γ-effect in aliphatic chains.  相似文献

Mass spectral fragmentations of two cyclopentane, eight cyclohexane and four norbornane/one 1,3-amino alcohols were studied under electron ionization (EI) by low-resolution, high-resolution, metastable ion analysis and collision-induced dissociation (CID) techniques. All stereoisomeric compounds gave rise to identical 70 eV EI mass spectra. However, the spectra of positional isomers clearly differed. The main fragmentation pathway for the saturated compounds began as an α-cleavage reaction with respect to the nitrogen atom. For the norbornene compounds a retro-Diels—Alder reaction was favoured. Relative to the aminomethyl-substituted compounds the fragmentation patterns for the compounds having the amino group connected directly to the ring were more complicated. The chemical ionization (CI) mass spectra were recorded using ammonia, isobutane, methane, dichloromethane and acetone as reagent gas. From the norbornane/One compounds the di-exo isomers decomposed more easily than the di-endo isomers with most of the reagent gases used. Differences between stereoisomers were observed directly only under methane CI. The decomposition products of the [M + H]+ ions generated under ammonia and isobutane CI were studies by recording their CID mass spectra. These spectra allowed the differentiation of the stereoisomers, at least to some extent.  相似文献

The UV-Vis and fluorescence spectra of free base and diprotonated meso-tetrathien-2'-ylporphyrins are, when compared to the spectra of meso-tetra-phenyl- or even -thien-3'-ylporphyrins, characterized by surprisingly large red-shifts. A comparison of the optical spectra and the computed rotational barriers for these meso-aryl-substituted porphyrins and a detailed conformational analysis of the single crystal X-ray structure of a diprotonated meso-tetrathien-2'-ylporphyrin suggest that the origin of the altered electronic properties of meso-tetrathien-2'-ylporphyrins are mainly due to the contribution of conformations in which the thienyl groups adopt idealized co-planar arrangements with the porphyrin ring. These conformations allow an efficient extension of the porphyrinic pi-system through conjugation. We synthesized a meso-tetrathien-2'-ylporphyrin with methyl groups in the o-position, thus preventing the formation of conformers with co-planar thienyl groups and a corresponding thien-2'-ylporphyrin with methyl substituents in a distal position that possesses the same steric requirements for thienyl group rotation as the parent compound, to conclusively deduce the influence of the conformers on the electronic structure. A MNDO-PSDCI computation of their optical spectra further supports our key hypothesis. DFT computations of the total energies of the hypothetical diprotonated thien-2'-ylporphyrin conformer with perpendicular thienyl groups and the conformer containing near-co-planar thienyl groups quantify the resonance stabilization energy. Our results support and complement recent photophysical and theoretical studies by Gupta and Ravikanth and Friedlein et al. on thien-2'-yl-substituted core-modified porphyrins and [meso-tetra(5'-bromothien-2'-yl)porphyrinato]Zn(ii), respectively.  相似文献

为了定量地研究桥双共轭体系中的结构效应, 制备了TmBn、BmBn和TmTn系列共32个羰桥化合物, 测定了电子吸收光谱。发现: 电子光谱频率与由总双键数所构成的同系因子不成直线关系, 而是不规则的散布点, 表明分子中没有贯通的共轭基干, 羰基对整个分子的共轭极化有隔断作用。羰桥两边两个分支对羰桥的共轭作用是互相竞争的, 当共轭竞争的优势从一分支转移到另一分支时, 同系直线就分为斜率不同的两段, 其间出现转折点。随着两个共轭分支链长的改变, 拐点出现有规则的移动, 在羰桥化合物的同分异构体中, 两个分支的共轭竞争也很明显, 其电子吸收峰与一定的m+n值表现为V形曲线。  相似文献

The electro- and spectroelectrochemical properties of dithienylhexahydro- and dithienyhexafluorocyclopentenes are reported. The large effect of variation in the central cyclopentene moieties on the redox properties of the dithienylcyclopentenes is in striking contrast to the minor effect on their photochemical properties. The electronic properties of the oxidised compounds in the +1 and +2 oxidation state are reported, and the possibility of electrochemical cyclisation and cycloreversion were explored by UV/Vis spectroelectrochemistry. The efficiency of electrochemical switching is found to be dependent both on the central cyclopentene unit and on the nature of the substituents at C5 of the thienyl rings. For the hexahydrocyclopentene-based compounds oxidative ring closure of the ring-open form is observed, while for the hexafluorocyclopentene-based compounds oxidative ring opening of the ring-closed form is observed. However, the introduction of electroactive groups such as methoxyphenyl allows oxidative ring closure to occur in the hexafluoro compounds. The effect of electrolyte, solvent and temperature on the spectroelectrochemical properties were examined, and the switching process was found to be sensitive to the donor properties of the solvent/electrolyte system employed. In addition, thermally activated reversible isomerisation of the dicationic closed form was observed. The driving force for electrochemical ring opening and closure appears to be dependent on the relative stabilisation of the dicationic ring-open and ring-closed states. This study provides insight into the factors which determine the direction of cyclisation.  相似文献

Experimental and theoretical methods were used to study newly synthesized thiophene-pi-conjugated donor-acceptor compounds, which were found to exhibit efficient intramolecular charge-transfer emission in polar solvents with relatively large Stokes shifts and strong solvatochromism. To gain insight into the solvatochromic behavior of these compounds, the dependence of the spectra on solvent polarity was studied on the basis of Lippert-Mataga models. We found that intramolecular charge transfer in these donor-acceptor systems is significantly dependent on the electron-withdrawing substituents at the thienyl 2-position. The dependence of the absorption and emission spectra of these compounds in methanol on the concentration of trifluoroacetic acid was used to confirm intramolecular charge-transfer emission. Moreover, the calculated absorption and emission energies, which are in accordance with the experimental values, suggested that fluorescence can be emitted from different geometric conformations. In addition, a novel S(2) fluorescence phenomenon for some of these compounds was also be observed. The fluorescence excitation spectra were used to confirm the S(2) fluorescence. We demonstrate that S(2) fluorescence can be explained by the calculated energy gap between the S(2) and S(1) states of these molecules. Furthermore, nonlinear optical behavior of the thiophene-pi-conjugated compound with diethylcyanomethylphosphonate substituents was predicted in theory.  相似文献

Condensation of α-halocarbonyl compounds and 2-mercaptobenzimidazole gives thiazolo-[3,2-a]benzimidazoles. This condensation occurred at the mercapto group of the benzimidazole followed by cyclization to form the thiazole ring. This was confirmed by the examination of the mass spectra of 2- and 3-methylthiazolo[3,2-a]benzimidazoles, 2- and 3-phenylthiazolo[3,2-a]-benzimidazoles, and their derivatives.  相似文献

Resonance Raman spectra were obtained for 2-iodothiophene in cyclohexane solution with excitation wavelengths in resonance with the A-band absorption spectrum. These resonance Raman spectra indicate that the Franck-Condon region photodissociation dynamics have multidimensional character with motion mainly along the nominal symmetric C=C stretch of the thienyl ring and accompanied by a moderate amount of motion along the nominal symmetric CSC stretch, the nominal antisymmetric CSC stretch, and the nominal C-I stretch vibrational modes. A preliminary resonance Raman intensity analysis was done for the A-band resonance Raman spectra of 2-iodothiophene. These results were compared to previous results for related iodobenzene and iodoalkane molecules that also contain a C-I chromophore and the similarities and differences in the short-time photodissociation dynamics were discussed.  相似文献

2-(4-tert-Butylphenyl)-5-(4-ethynylphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole reacts with a series of heteroaryl iodides under standard Sonogashira cross-coupling conditions (Pd[PPh(3)](2)Cl(2), CuI, triethylamine, THF) to yield products 2a-g in 40-79% yields (heteroaryl = 2-pyridyl, 3-pyridyl, 4-pyridyl, 2-pyrazyl, 5-bromo-2-pyrimidyl, 2-thienyl and 3-thienyl, respectively). Compound 2f was lithiated followed by electrophilic iodination (BuLi, perfluorohexyl iodide) to give 3, which by a two-step sequence gave the terminal ethynylthienyl derivative 5. Conversion of 5 into the terminal ethynylaldehyde derivative 7, via acetal derivative 6, proceeded in high yield. Starting from 2-iodo-5-methoxycarbonylthiophene, a five-step sequence afforded 2-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-5-(4-ethynylthienyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole 13 (13% overall yield). Reactions of 13 gave terminal pyridyl, pyrazyl, pyrimidyl and thienyl derivatives, analogous to those obtained from 1. Two-fold reaction of 13 with 2,5-diiodothiophene gave the bis(ethynylthienyl)thiophene derivative 15 (30% yield). Solution UV-Vis absorption and photoluminescence spectra establish that replacement of the phenyl ring in the 2,5-diphenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole series 2a-g by a thienyl ring [i.e. the 2-phenyl-5-(2-thienyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole series 14a-g] leads to a red shift in the lowest energy band in both the absorption spectra and emission spectra. The X-ray crystal structures of compounds 2d, 2g, 5 and 14d.CHCl(3) reveal that the molecular structures are approximately planar although there are substantial differences in the conformations.  相似文献

Michael addition of 5,11-dihydrodibenz[b,e][1,4]oxazepines to acrylonitrile gave 5,11-di-hydrodibenz[b,e][1,4]oxazepine-5-propionitriles, which were converted to the corresponding methyl 5-propionates. Mild alkaline hydrolysis of these esters furnished the key intermediates, the 5,11-dihydrodibenz[b,e] [1,4]oxazepine-5-propionic acids. In the preferred procedure, these propionic acids were cyclized to the tetracyclic ketones in yields of 60-90%, by the action of one equivalent of trifluoroacetic anhydride in benzene. When ring C was involved in cylcization, 1,2-dihydro-3H,7H-quino[8,1-cd][1,5]benzoxazepin-3-ones were obtained, and when ring A was involved, 1,2-dihydro-3H,8H-quino[1,8-ab] [4,1]benzoxazepin-3-ones were formed. With 1c , both modes of cyclization were observed. In an alternative procedure that gave lower yields, the propionic acids were first converted to the corresponding acid chlorides, and these were cyclized by means of anhydrous stannic chloride; as anticipated, the products by this method were identical with those obtained via the trifluoroacetic anhydride method. Several reactions of these tetra-cylcic ketones, e.g., their ease of oxime formation, and dehydrogenation to the α,β-unsaturated ketones, are described. The α,β-unsaturated ketones do not form oximes. The structures assigned to the ketones are based on interpretations of their pmr, uv, and ir spectra. These assignments were confirmed by an X-ray analysis of a single crystal of one representative ketone, 2b ; the X-ray study was also useful in indicating the thermodynamically preferred conformation of 2b . The structures of all the other compounds followed from similar spectral interpretations. The mass spectra of a few compounds are also discussed.  相似文献

In continuation of earlier studies (parts 1–6) in the field of the analysis of high-sulphur shale oils, counter-current distribution was applied in addition to methods found suitable in the earlier studies, particularly chromatographic techniques. This article investigates the excited and charged states of three branched oligothiophenes with methyl–thienyl side groups as models to promote 3D arrangements. A comparison with the properties of the parent systems, linear all‐α,α‐oligothiophenes, is proposed. A wide variety of spectroscopic methods (i.e., absorption, emission, triplet–triplet transient absorption, and spectroelectrochemistry) in combination with DFT calculations have been used for this purpose. Whereas the absorption spectra are slightly blueshifted upon branching, both the emission spectra and triplet–triplet absorption spectra are moderately redshifted; this indicates a larger contribution of the β‐linked thienyl groups in the delocalization of the S1 and T1 states rather than into the S0 state. The delocalization through the α,β‐conjugated path was found to be crucial for the stabilization of the trication species in the larger branched systems, whereas the linear sexithiophene homologue can only be stabilized up to the dication species.  相似文献

We report the synthesis of BODIPYs with unsubstituted 1,7,8-positions and their dimerization by oxidative coupling with phenyliodine(III)-bis(trifluoroacetate) (PIFA). This dimerization was achieved for BODIPYs substituted in the 3,5-positions with either methyl or thienyl groups. The position and the type of the linkage in the resulting dimers depended on the nature of the substituent. The 3,5-dimethyl-BODIPY dyes were linked either via direct 1,1'-pyrrole-pyrrole coupling or via a 1,3'-methylene bridge. The 3,5-dithienyl-BODIPY dyes provided, in excellent yields, unique compounds linked exclusively via the α-thienyl positions. All dyes were unreactive in the 8-position. Electrochemical and spectroscopic measurements on the monomers and dimers provided evidence of interactions between the two halves of the dimers. Thus, oxidation and reduction potentials were split by up to 210 mV, and modest excitonic coupling and an internal charge transfer were observed in some cases.  相似文献

A novel rhodium-catalyzed oxidative [5 + 1] annulation of 2-vinylanilines with α-diazocarbonyl compounds for the construction of quinoline-2-carboxylate derivatives has been developed. A series of functional groups such as methyl, methoxy, fluoro, chloro, bromo, cyano, and even thienyl substituents were tolerated well. This methodology has the potential for use in the pharmaceutical industry.  相似文献

Stable tris-, bis- and mono[9-(azuleno[1,2-b]thienyl)]methyl cations (7a, 8a and 9a) and their derivatives, with a 6-isopropyl substituent on each azuleno[1,2-b]thiophene ring (7b, 8b and 9b) were prepared by the hydride abstraction reaction of the corresponding methane derivatives. The bonding situation of these compounds including the methane derivatives was examined by analysis of the 3J(H,H) values for the seven-membered ring from the 1H NMR spectra. The methane derivatives exhibited a significant alternating pattern in the 3J(H,H) values, which indicated that the pi-system of the azulene core is perturbed by the fused thiophene ring, showing a tendency towards a localized heptafulvene substructure. The 3J(H,H) values of 7b and 8b in the seven-membered ring revealed that the alternating C-C bond lengths in the azulene core still existed. The cations 9a and 9b, which exhibited nearly equal 3J(H,H) values in the seven-membered ring, exhibit the development of a delocalized tropylium substructure in the azulene core. X-ray crystal analysis of 6-isopropylazuleno[1,2-b]thiophene revealed substantial bond-length alternation in the seven-membered ring. Significant bond-length equalization in the seven-membered ring was also confirmed by the X-ray crystal analysis of 9b. The stability of these carbocations was examined by measurement of the pKR+ values and the redox potentials, which revealed that the bond-length alternation in the azulene core does not significantly affect the stability of the carbocations.  相似文献

In an attempt to design molecular optoelectronic switches functioning in molecular junctions between two metal tips, we synthesized a set of photochromic compounds by extending the π-system of 1,2-bis-(2-methyl-5-formylfuran-3-yl)perfluorocyclopentene through suitable coupling reactions involving the formyl functions, thereby also introducing terminal groups with a binding capacity to gold. Avoiding the presence of gold-binding sulphur atoms in the photoreactive centre, as they are present in the frequently used analogous thienyl compounds, the newly synthesized compounds should be more suitable for the purpose indicated. The kinetics of reversible photoswitching of the new compounds by UV and visible light was quantitatively investigated in solution. The role of conformational flexibility of the π-system for the width of the UV/Vis spectra was clarified by using quantum chemical calculations with time-dependent (TD)-DFT. As a preliminary test of the potential of the new compounds to serve as optoelectronic molecular switches, monolayer formation and photochemical switching on gold surfaces was observed by using surface plasmon resonance.  相似文献
