In this paper we prove new Hardy-like inequalities with optimal potential singularities for functions in W1,p(Ω), where Ω is either bounded or the whole space and also some extensions to arbitrary Riemannian manifolds. We also study the spectrum of perturbed Schr?dinger operators for perturbations which are just below the optimality threshold for the corresponding Hardy inequality.  相似文献

For the unilateral shift operator U on the Hardy space H2(T), we describe conditions on operators T, acting on H2(T), that are necessary and sufficient for the pair (U, T) to be jointly hyponormal. One necessary condition is that T be a Toeplitz operator. Consequently, we study certain nonanalytic symbols that give rise to Toeplitz operators hyponormal with the shift, and thereby obtain examples of noncommuting, jointly hyponormal pairs.Supported in part by a research grant from NSERC  相似文献

In this paper we introduce and study the fractional Hardy spaces of the half space and of the unit ball in the quaternionic setting. In particular, we discuss their properties of invariance and of factorization in terms of functions in the Hardy space of the half space in the first case, and in terms of a suitable reproducing kernel Hilbert space in the case of the unit ball.  相似文献

Let G be a bounded locally compact Vilenkin group. We study the atomic decom‐position of weighted weak Hardy space. We also define several Calderón – Zygmund type operators and study their boundedness on, spaces like weighted Hardy spaces, weighted weak Hardy spaces and weighted weak Lebesgue spaces. This paper gives a type theorem, which is a boundedness criterion for singular integral operators from the weighted Herz‐type Hardy spaces into the weighted local Herz‐type Hardy spaces. As applications, the corresponding mapping properties for the Cauchy integral and Calderón's commutators are obtained. In addition, a counter example is shown that neither is a Calderón–Zygmund singular integral operator bounded on the homogeneous local Herz‐type Hardy space, nor bounded on the classical local Hardy space.  相似文献

Motivated by the idea of Badiale and Tarantello who have found Hardy-Sobolev inequalities on Rn, a class of Hardy-Sobolev type inequalities on H-type groups is proved via a new representation formula for functions. Extremal functions realizing equality in the inequalities are discussed by refined Concentration-Compactness principles. Finally, some sharp constants for Hardy type inequalities are given. We study the short-time Fourier transformation, modulation spaces, Gabor representations and time-frequency localization operators, for functions and tempered distributions that have as range space a Banach or a Hilbert space. In the Banach space case the theory of modulation spaces contains some modifications of the scalar-valued theory, depending on the Banach space. In the Hilbert space case the modulation spaces have properties similar to the scalar-valued case and the Gabor frame theory essentially works. For localization operators in this context symbols are operator-valued. We generalize two results from the scalar-valued theory on continuity on certain modulation spaces when the symbol belongs to an Lp,q space and M, respectively. The first result is true for any Banach space as range space, and the second result is true for any Hilbert space as range space.  相似文献

Consider a second order divergence form elliptic operator L with complex bounded measurable coefficients. In general, operators based on L, such as the Riesz transform or square function, may lie beyond the scope of the Calderón–Zygmund theory. They need not be bounded in the classical Hardy, BMO and even some L p spaces. In this work we develop a theory of Hardy and BMO spaces associated to L, which includes, in particular, a molecular decomposition, maximal and square function characterizations, duality of Hardy and BMO spaces, and a John–Nirenberg inequality. In this paper several necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained for the semi-commutator of Toeplitz operators andT g with bounded pluriharmonic symbols on the unit ball to be compact on the Bergman space. Operators on function spaces acting by composition to the right with a fixed selfmap φ of some set are called composition operators of symbol φ. A weighted composition operator is an operator equal to a composition operator followed by a multiplication operator. We summarize the basic properties of bounded and compact weighted composition operators on the Hilbert Hardy space on the open unit disk and use them to study composition operators on Hardy–Smirnov spaces. Let G be a bounded locally compact Vilenkin group. We study the boundedness of potential operators and the maximal operators associated with them in the weighted Herz space, the weighted Hardy space and the weighted Herz-type Hardy space over G. We consider a generalization of isometric Hilbert space operators to the multivariable setting. We study some of the basic properties of these tuples of commuting operators and we explore several examples. In particular, we show that the d-shift, which is important in the dilation theory of d-contractions (or row contractions), is a d-isometry. As an application of our techniques we prove a theorem about cyclic vectors in certain spaces of analytic functions that are properly contained in the Hardy space of the unit ball of .  相似文献
