Simultaneous speciation of mixed standard solutions of triphenyltin halides (triphenyltin chloride, bromide, iodide) and pseudohalide (triphenyltin isothiocyanate) has been achieved with reversed‐phase high‐performance liquid chromatography on a Waters Spherisorb S5W ODS‐2 (octadecyl‐silica) column. An isocratic mixture of 95:5 (v/v) acetonitrile:water was used as the mobile phase at a flow rate of 1 ml min?1. A series of selected triphenyltin carboxylates, Ph3SnOCOZ, where Z = Me, Ph, CH:CHPh, CH:NOMe, CH2SC5H4N and CH2SC(S)NMe2, was also similarly analysed using this system with two separate isocratic elutions using 100% acetonitrile and 96:4 (v/v) acetonitrile:water as the mobile phase. UV detection was done at 254 nm and the total run time for each analysis was less than 3 min. The detection limits for all the phenyltin(IV) compounds were in the range 0.01–0.03 ppm. Spiked water samples containing the triphenyltin carboxylates could also be simultaneously analysed by the above method without the need for any prior derivatization, following extraction with hexane. Pretreatment of the aqueous sample with NaCl/HCl and of the organic phase with hexamethylphosphoramide enabled recoveries of about 80% of the triphenyltins. A bacterial culture capable of degrading triphenyltin hydroxide (TPTOH) was successfully isolated from soil samples taken at a dockyard area in Samutprakarn province, Thailand. It was purified, identified and designated as Pseudomonas putida no. C. The bacterium isolated was found to have the capability of degrading TPTOH at levels of 7.0 ppm in 24 h. The addition of glucose enhanced the extent of degradation of TPTOH. Experiments were also conducted to immobilize P. putida no. C on various supports such as sand, cotton fibre and alginate. It was found that alginate was the best support material. Immobilized P. putida no. C on alginate was found to possess suitable characteristics and potential for future development in the removal of TPTOH from water and waste water systems.  相似文献

Little data about toxic effect of triphenyltin (TPT) on aquatic plants is available. The purpose of this paper is to study the toxic effect of TPT on duckweed, Lemna polyrhiza, and the bioconcentration factor of TPT by Lemna polyrhiza. At 5 µg/l concentration TPT treatment, a toxic effect on growth of Lemna polyrhiza appeared. The 8 day IC50 of TPT to Lemna polyrhiza was 19.22 µg/l. TPT stimulated peroxidase activity and nitrate reductase activity at 2 and 5 µg/l. TPT reduced chloroplast activity of Lemna polyrhiza at 2 and 5 µg/l. Bioconcentration factors of TPT for Lemna polyrhiza were 4.3 and 10.9 at 2 and 5 µg/l, respectively. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

以三苯基氯化锡和二苯碳酰二肼为原料,在乙醇-钠中反应合成了一个新型的氯化三苯基锡(1,4-二氢-2,3-二苯基四氮唑酮)配合物(1),其结构经FT-IR,元素分析和X-射线单晶衍射表征。结果表明:1(CCDC: 1 445 377)属单斜晶系,P21/c空间群,晶胞参数a=1.393 2(6) nm, b=1.097 3(5) nm, c=1.933 7(8) nm, β=110.219(9) ,V= 2.77 4(2) nm3, Z=4, Dc=1.498 g·cm-3, F(000)=1 264, R1=0.028 8, wR2=0.064 6。中心Sn为五配位三角双锥构型。研究了1的荧光性质、热稳定性、电化学性质和体外抗癌活性。结果表明:1在100 ℃下较稳定; 1在400 nm(λex=320 nm)处有弱荧光峰;c(1)=5 μg·mL-1时,对HeLa细胞株增殖的抑制率为93.70%。  相似文献

The reduction of triphenyltin piperidyl dithiocarbamate in acetone has been investigated using d.c. polarography and cyclic voltammetry. Polarographic reduction yielded four well-defined waves, two of which were diffusion-controlled and two of which appear to represent adsorption processes. The cyclic voltammetric study yielded results in close agreement with the polarographic data. Results appear to indicate the release of the dithiocarbamate moiety, followed by reduction to form the triphenyltin radical, which undergoes dimerization, as well as reduction to the triphenyltin anion. For comparison, the polarographic reduction of triphenyltinchloride was investigated. A mechanism similar to that proposed by earlier authors for the polarographic behaviour of tributyltin oxide was found. For convenience, the more commonly used terminology of piperidyl dithiocarbamate is used throughout the paper, in place of (piperidine-1-carbodithioato) triphenyltin (IV).  相似文献

A previous study on the deleterious effect of triphenyltin chloride (TPTCl) on the alga Spirulina subsalsa reported on four physiological and biochemical indices (or parameters): growth rate, chlorophyll content, phycocyanin content and nitrate reductase activity. In the present study, further research was performed to confirm the findings reported in the previous paper, using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The SEM images show significant changes in the screw‐pitch of S. subsalsa, suggesting that TPTCl may damage the inheritance characteristics of S. subsalsa. The TEM images illustrate that the external pectin theca, limiting membrane and inter photosynthetically active lamella in the S. subsalsa cell are those targets that can be easily damaged. The organometallic compounds triphenyltinsalicylate (TPTS) and triphenylsiliconsalicylate (TPSS) were found to be trypanocidal against culture forms of Trypanosoma congolense. Both compounds at 0.4–5 µmol ml?1 completely killed the parasites in vitro within 3‐8 min after incubation. A dosage of 1.5 µmol ml?1 TPTS killed at least 50% of the parasite population, which was preceded by a cluster effect as observed under phase contrast microscopy. Also, 3.5 µg ml?1 of TPSS was required to kill 50% of the T. congolense cells. At a low dosage of 2–10 µg ml?1, it was feasible to monitor the effect and mode of action of the organometallic compounds. There was a 50% reduction in the amount of synthesized cholesterols in the presence of 6 µg ml?1 and 10 µg ml?1 of TPTS and TPSS respectively. TPTS and TPSS also non‐competitively inhibited pyrophosphatase from lysed T. congolense with Ki values of 3.6 µM and 8.5 µM respectively. In the in vivo experiments, TPTS cured T. congolense infected mice at a dosage of 2–10 mg kg day?1 for 4 days. TPSS was, however, completely inactive in vivo. The toxicity of many amphiphilic compounds may result from their effect on the lipid phase of biological membranes. Upon incorporation such compounds may change the properties of membranes in general and in particular alter the organization of membrane lipids. These changes should affect, among other things, the mechanical properties of membranes. We selected two amphiphilic compounds, diphenyltin dichloride (Ph2SnCl2) and triphenyltin chloride (Ph3SnCl), which are known to be located at different regions of the lipid bilayer and to be toxic. As a model biological membrane the erythrocyte plasma membrane was used. Analysis of the haemolysis kinetics showed differences between the effect of the compound studied on mechanical properties at so‐called non‐lytic concentrations. Diphenyltin dichloride showed a limited effect on erythrocyte haemolysis, whereas triphenyltin chloride affected all the parameters measured (extent of initial haemolysis, extent of final haemolysis and membrane mechanical strength). We correlated these effects with the location of the investigated compounds in liposomes. The presented data show that triphenyltin chloride reduces the erythrocyte plasma membrane mechanical strength and increases the extent of haemolysis under osmotic stress conditions. The synthesis of novel triphenyltin(IV) compounds, Ph3SnLn (n = 1–3), with oxaprozin (3-(4,5-diphenyloxazol-2-yl)propanoic acid), HL1, and the new propanoic acid derivatives 3-(4,5-bis(4-methoxylphenyl)oxazol-2-yl)propanoic acid, HL2, and 3-(2,5-dioxo-4,4-diphenylimidazolidin-1-yl)propanoic acid, HL3, has been performed. The ligands represent commercial drugs or their derivatives and the tin complexes have been characterized by standard analytical methods. The in vitro antiproliferative activity of both ligands and organotin(IV) compounds has been evaluated on the following tumour cell lines: human prostate cancer (PC-3), human colorectal adenocarcinoma (HT-29), breast cancer (MCF-7), and hepatocellular cancer (HepG2), as well as on normal mouse embryonic fibroblast cells (NIH3T3) with the aid of MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-12 diphenyltetrazolium bromide) and CV (crystal violet) assays. Contrary to the inactive ligand precursors, all organotin(IV) carboxylates showed very good activity with IC50 values ranging from 0.100 to 0.758 µM. According to the CV assay (IC50 = 0.218 ± 0.025 µM), complex Ph3SnL1 demonstrated the highest cytotoxicity against the caspase 3 deficient MCF-7 cell line. Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) analysis indicated a two-fold lower concentration of tin in MCF-7 cells in comparison to platinum. To investigate the mechanism of action of the compound Ph3SnL1 on MCF-7 cells, morphological, autophagy and cell cycle analysis, as well as the activation of caspase and ROS/RNS and NO production, has been performed. Results suggest that Ph3SnL1 induces caspase-independent apoptosis in MCF-7 cells.  相似文献
