In this study the QRPA approach with the rotational and translational invariant Hamiltonians has been carried out to describe magnetic and electric dipole excitations in 176Hf . Calculations show that the 176Hf nucleus demonstrates a very rich B(M1) strength structure and in some aspects nicely confirm the experimental data. It has been shown that the main part of spin-1 states, observed at 2-4MeV in 176Hf , may be attributed to have a M1 character and may be interpreted as the main fragments of the scissors mode. The agreement between the calculated mean excitation energies as well as the summed B(M1) values of the scissors mode excitations and the available experimental data is quite good. The constructive interference between the orbit and the spin part of M1 strength has been found to be below 3.5MeV. The calculations indicate the presence of a few prominent negative-parity states in the 2-4MeV energy interval. This suggests that the supposition of the experiment “all stronger K = 1 low-lying dipole excitations were of magnetic character” cannot be generalized.  相似文献

High-spin states of 136La have been investigated with the reaction 130Te( 11B, 5n) at a beam energy of 60 MeV. The level scheme with three collective bands has been updated with spin up to 20 . The observed h11/2 h11/2 band shows -instability with increasing spin according to the TRS calculations. The band crossing and the signature splitting and inversion have been discussed. Other two collective bands based on 12-and 16+ levels were proposed as oblate deformation with -60°. They most probably originate from four- and six-quasiparticle configurations, that is, h11/2 g7/2h11/22 and g7/2 g7/22d5/2h11/22 respectively.  相似文献

The nuclear spectroscopic quadrupole moments for the πh9/25/2-, 1/2-[541] and the πh11/29/2-, 9/2-[514] isomeric states in 169Ta have been measured employing the time differential perturbed angular-distribution technique following the nuclear reaction 159Tb(16O, 6nγ)169Ta at beam energy 104 MeV. The ratio of the intrinsic quadrupole moments has been derived as 1.87(13) from the measured quadrupole precession frequencies of the corresponding states. The model-independent analysis of the equilibrium deformation indicates strong prolate- and oblate-driving nature of the 1/2-[541] and 9/2-[514] orbitals in 169,171Ta isotopes, respectively.  相似文献

Excited states in neutron-rich 183Ta have been studied using a two-neutron transfer reaction of 181Ta(18O,16O) . In-beam -rays were measured in coincidence with scattered ions detected by a high-resolution E -E Si telescope for reaction channel selection. Previously known 1-quasiparticle bands are extended to higher spins, and several levels including a T 1/2 = 0.9(3) μs 3-quasiparticle isomer are identified.  相似文献

The low-energy nuclear structure and decay properties of the neutron-deficient isotopes 195At and 191Bi have been studied. 195At was produced in the reaction 142Nd(56Fe,p2n)195At and 191Bi as the daughter activity of 195At. The activities were implanted in a position-sensitive silicon detector after being separated from the primary beam by a gas-filled recoil separator. The 1/2+ intruder state was determined to be the ground state in 195At with an alpha-decay energy of E α = 6953(3) keV and a half-life T 1/2 = 328(20) ms. Another state with an alpha-decay energy E α = 7075(4) keV and a half-life T 1/2 = 147(5) ms was found to decay to a 148.7(5) keV excited state in 191Bi for which a spin and parity of 7/2- were deduced. Consequently, the same 7/2- character was assigned to the initial state at 32(7) keV in 195At on the basis of unhindered alpha-decay. The 9/2- state, being the ground state in heavier odd-mass astatine isotopes, was not observed. Eight high-spin states in 36Ar below 10MeV excitation energy, among them a prospective J π = 8- state at 9408keV and the J? 8 levels of the recently discovered superdeformed rotational band, have been observed by n-γ coincidence measurements with the 33S(α, nγ) reaction at E α = 14.4 and 13.4MeV. High-spin assignments of, respectively, J π = 6+ and 5- were obtained for the E p = 1209 and 1462keV (E x = 9682 and 9927keV) resonances of the 35Cl (p,γ) reaction by a measurement of γ-ray angular distributions. The spectrum of the high-spin and of the E x? 7.4MeV levels is decomposed according to the underlying shell model configurations with n = 0, 1, 2, 4 particles excited from the N = 2 into the N = 3 major shell. The role of four-particle excitations, all connected with large prolate distortions, is elucidated for the entire A = 36-40 mass region. Received: 21 December 2001 / Accepted: 25 March 2002  相似文献

α-decay half-lives for 104, 105, 106Te and 108, 109, 110Xe close above the doubly-magic 100Sn are calculated from systematic double-folding potentials. The derived α preformation factors are compared to results for 212, 213, 214Po and 216, 217, 218Rn above the doubly-magic 208Pb. α-decay energies of Q α = 5.42±0.07MeV and 4.65±0.15MeV are predicted for 104Te and 108Xe; the corresponding half-lives are T 1/2 ≈ 5ns for 104Te and of the order of 60μs for 108Xe. Additionally, the properties of rotational bands in 104Te are analyzed, and the first excited 2+ state in 104Te is predicted at E x = 650±40keV; it decays preferentially by γ emission with a reduced transition strength of 10 Weisskopf units to the ground state of 104Te and with a minor branch by α emission to the ground state of 100Sn.  相似文献

The configuration-dependent cranked Nilsson-Strutinsky approach has been employed to study the properties and band structures at high spin in the Z = N odd-odd nuclei 46V and 50Mn. The observed bands are explained and terminating states are confirmed by the calculations. The calculated and observed bands are in good agreement without normalization, especially for terminating states. Possible bands with rotation around the intermediate axis and the effect of γ-deformation on the total energy of several interesting configurations are discussed. The collective structures of 131Cs have been investigated by in-beam -ray spectroscopic techniques following the 124Sn (^11B , 4n) reaction at a beam energy Elab = 57MeV. The previously established rotational bands, built on g7/2, d5/2 and the unique-parity h11/2 orbitals, have been extended and evolve into new bands involving rotationally aligned (h11/2)2 and (h11/2)2 quasiparticles. In addition, a new multiquasiparticle band based on the g7/2 g7/2 h11/2 configuration has also been observed. Theoretical interpretations for the assigned configurations are discussed in the framework of Total Routhian Surface (TRS) and Tilted Axis Cranking (TAC) model calculations. TAC model calculations predict a decrease in the B(M1) values with increasing rotational frequency for the g7/2/d5/2 (h11/2)2 and h11/2 (h11/2)2 bands, thus indicating a magnetic rotation character for these bands.  相似文献

Excited states in 182Os were populated by the β+/EC decay of 182Ir following mass separation. Gamma-ray and conversion electron spectroscopy techniques were employed. Monopole (E0) contributions were determined in transitions populating the ground-state band. A systematic study of the low-spin structures in the Os isotopes is presented and a detailed analysis in the framework of a microscopic configuration mixing approach is performed.  相似文献

The T = 1 admixture into the T = 0 member of a recently discovered isospin-doublet in 54Co is obtained from the measured electromagnetic E2/M1 multipole mixing ratio, of the transition. Combining these data with shell model calculations for strong isovector M1 and isoscalar E2 electromagnetic matrix elements one obtains a value for the T = 1 admixture into the T = 0, 4 + state of . The corresponding mixing matrix element in the 4 + doublet is keV.Received: 31 October 2002, Published online: 9 March 2004PACS: 21.10.Hw Spin, parity, and isobaric spin - 21.60.Cs Shell model - 23.20.Gq Multipole mixing ratios  相似文献

Based on the γ -spectroscopic analysis of G.N. Sylvan et al., configuration-dependent cranked Nilsson-Strutinsky calculations have been performed. They describe the nucleus 77Kr globally in good agreement with the experimental findings and the expectations derived from single-particle orbitals in a deformed potential. Within these calculations, the unambiguous assignment of a configuration with three protons and five neutrons in the g 9/2 shell to the high-spin Yrast states of negative parity indicates that the nucleus 77Kr has stable triaxial deformation and rotates about the intermediate axis. This not only disproves the recent interpretation of an occupation of the d 5/2 orbital being responsible for the strong deformation in this band, but also represents one of the first examples in this mass region for such a rotation.  相似文献

Careful review of all the evidence makes it clear that at least three states are important at 12.4-MeV excitation in 20Ne (four, if the broad (2+) at 12.5 MeV is included). The three states are 3 - , 0 + , and 1 + (0+). The latter, which is quite strong in 19F (3He, d) singles, is probably the state observed in coincidence with 6.13-MeV γ-rays in 19F(3He, dγ). We extract the neutron charge form factor G n E(Q 2) from the charge form factor of deuteron G d C(Q 2) obtained from T 20(Q 2) data at 0≤Q 2≤ 1.717 (GeV/c)2. The extraction is based on the relativistic impulse approximation in the instant form of the relativistic Hamiltonian dynamics. Our results (12 new points) are compatible with existing values of the neutron charge form factor of other authors. We propose a fit for the whole set (36 points) taking into account the data for the slope of the form factor at Q 2 = 0. The low-lying levels in 127La have been studied through the -decay of 127Ce ( T1/2 = 29s) produced by bombarding a natMo target with a 185-MeV 35Cl beam. Reaction products were on-line mass-separated, and -ray singles and - coincidence measurements were performed. Conversion electrons were also measured and multipolarities of transitions have been derived. The half-life of the 210.9-keV level was determined to be (1.9±0.3)ns by the - delayed coincidence technique. The level scheme obtained has been compared with calculations based on the Nilsson model.  相似文献

The superheavy hydrogen isotopes 4H and 5H have been investigated in the stopped pion absorption on 9Be. Three states of 4H were proposed in the reaction channel 9Be( { - }, dt)X. Four states of 5H were proposed in the reaction channels 9Be({ - }, pt)X and 9Be({ - }, dt)X. The excited states of 5H can decay into free nucleons.  相似文献

The structure of 17C has been investigated using the three-neutron transfer reaction (12C,9C) on a 14C target at 231MeV incident energy, the reaction Q-value is Q 0 = - 46.930MeV. Eleven new states up to 16.3MeV excitation energy were identified. The same reaction has also been used on a 12C target ( Q 0 = - 38.787MeV), and excited states in 15C up to 19MeV were observed. In 17C the three transferred neutrons populate (sd )3 configurations on the 14C core. The comparison of levels populated by the (12C,9C) reaction in 17C, 16C and 15C reveals a strong similarity of their properties. This concerns especially nine states in each of the three carbon isotopes, which show practically the same excitation energies except a constant mean shift of +5.82MeV for 16C and +6.65MeV for 15C with respect to 17C. The triples of states from the three isotopes, which correspond to each other, have also similar widths and cross-section ratios. It is concluded that the same (sd )3 structures are populated in the three carbon isotopes. The observed levels of 17C are also compared to the levels of 19O with known assignments and to shell model calculations, and their decay properties are discussed.  相似文献
