In the present paper, we obtain a new KKM type theorem for intersectionally closed-valued KKM maps and some useful new basic consequences. Typical examples of them are abstract forms of Fan’s matching theorem, Fan’s geometric lemma, the Fan-Browder fixed point theorem, maximal element theorems, Fan’s minimax inequality, variational inequalities, and others.  相似文献

In this work, we establish the intersection property for a family of admissible subsets in a hyperconvex metric space, and we apply this intersection property to get generalized KKM theorems, coincidence theorems, variational inequality theorems and minimax inequality theorems.  相似文献

Towards Lim
The paper contains an elegant extension of the Nadler fixed point theorem for multivalued contractions (see Theorem 21). It is based on a new idea of the α-step mappings (see Definition 17) being more efficient than α-contractions. In the present paper this theorem is a tool in proving some fixed point theorems for “nonexpansive” mappings in the bead spaces (metric spaces that, roughly speaking, are modelled after convex sets in uniformly convex spaces). More precisely the mappings are nonexpansive on a set with respect to only one point - the centre of this set (see condition (4)). The results are pretty general. At first we assume that the value of the mapping under consideration at this central point looks “sharp” (see Definition 6). This idea leads to a group of theorems (based on Theorem 7). Their proofs are compact and the theorems, in particular, are natural extensions of the classical results for (usual) nonexpansive mappings. In the second part we apply the idea of Lim to investigate the regular sequences and here the proofs are based on our extension of Nadler's Theorem. In consequence we obtain some fixed point theorems that generalise the classical Lim Theorem for multivalued nonexpansive mappings (see e.g. Theorem 26).  相似文献

In this work, we first define the 2-KKM mapping and the generalized 2-KKM mapping on a metric space, and then we apply the property of the hyperconvex metric space to get a KKM theorem and a fixed point theorem without a compactness assumption. Next, by using this KKM theorem, we get some variational inequality theorems and minimax inequality theorems.  相似文献

We study the notion of α-covering map with respect to certain subsets in metric spaces. Generalizing results from [1] we use this notion to give some coincidence theorems for pairs of single-valued and multivalued maps one of which is relatively α-covering while the other satisfies the Lipschitz condition. These assertions extend some classical contraction map principles. We define the notion of α-covering multimap at a point and give conditions under which the covering property of a multimap at each interior point of a set implies that it is covering on the whole set. As applications we consider the solvability of a system of inclusions and the existence of a positive trajectory for a semilinear feedback control system. This paper is dedicated to Professor Felix Browder on the occasion of his jubilee  相似文献

The partial KKM principle for an abstract convex space is an abstract form of the classical KKM theorem. A KKM space is an abstract convex space satisfying the partial KKM principle and its “open” version. In this paper, we clearly derive a sequence of a dozen statements which characterize the KKM spaces and equivalent formulations of the partial KKM principle. As their applications, we add more than a dozen statements including generalized formulations of von Neumann minimax theorem, von Neumann intersection lemma, the Nash equilibrium theorem, and the Fan type minimax inequalities for any KKM spaces. Consequently, this paper unifies and enlarges previously known several proper examples of such statements for particular types of KKM spaces.  相似文献

An abstract convex space satisfying the KKM principle is called a KKM space. This class of spaces contains GG-convex spaces properly. In this work, we show that a large number of results in KKM theory on GG-convex spaces also hold on KKM spaces. Examples of such results are theorems of Sperner and Alexandroff–Pasynkoff, Fan–Browder type fixed point theorems, Horvath type fixed point theorems, Ky Fan type minimax inequalities, variational inequalities, von Neumann type minimax theorems, Nash type equilibrium theorems, and Himmelberg type fixed point theorems.  相似文献

The notion of a bead metric space defined here (see Definition 6) is a nice generalization of that of the uniformly convex normed space. In turn, the idea of a central point for a mapping when combined with the “single central point” property of the bead spaces enables us to obtain strong and elegant extensions of the Browder-Göhde-Kirk fixed point theorem for nonexpansive mappings (see Theorems 14-17). Their proofs are based on a very simple reasoning. We also prove two theorems on continuous selections for metric and Hilbert spaces. They are followed by fixed point theorems of Schauder type. In the final part we obtain a result on nonempty intersection.  相似文献

In the paper “Coupled fixed point theorems for contractions in fuzzy metric spaces” by Sedghi et al. [S. Sedghi, I. Altun, N. Shobec, Coupled fixed point theorems for contractions in fuzzy metric spaces, Nonlinear Analysis 72 (2010) 1298-1304], a coupled common fixed point result was presented. However, our purpose is to show that this result and its proof are false. We give a counterexample and also explain how to correct this result. As a modification, we state and prove a coupled fixed point theorem under some hypotheses of fuzzy metric and t-norm.  相似文献

The concepts of “weak/strong topological contraction” and a generalization of Banach contraction mappings called “pp-contraction” are introduced and used to prove fixed point theorems for self-mappings from a topological/metric space into itself satisfying topological contraction/metric pp-contraction, respectively. Certain non-linear integral equations defined on C[a,b]C[a,b] satisfying generalized Lipschitzian conditions can easily be solved by applying these theorems. In the sequel, we shall study the possibility of optimally controlling the solution of the ordinary differential equation via dynamic programming.  相似文献

In this paper a fixed point theory is established for operators defined on Cartesian product spaces. Two abstract approaches are presented in terms of closure operators and of general functionals called measures of deviations from zero resembling the measures of noncompactness. In particular, we give vectorial versions to Mönch’s fixed point theorems. An application is included to illustrate the theory.  相似文献

In this paper, we extend new selection theorems for almost lower semicontinuous multifunctions T on a paracompact topological space X to general nonconvex settings. On the basis of the Kim-Lee theorem and the Horvath selection theorem, we first show that any a.l.s.c. C-valued multifunction admits a continuous selection under a mild condition of a one-point extension property. Finally, we apply a fundamental selection theorem, due to Ben-El-Mechaiekh and Oudadess, to modify our selection theorems by adjusting a closed subset Z of X with its covering dimension dimXZ≤0. The results derived here generalize and unify various earlier ones from classic continuous selection theory.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove some coupled fixed point theorems for mappings having a mixed monotone property in partially ordered metric spaces. The main results of this paper are generalizations of the main results of Bhaskar and Lakshmikantham [T. Gnana Bhaskar, V. Lakshmikantham, Fixed point theorems in partially ordered metric spaces and applications, Nonlinear Anal. TMA 65 (2006) 1379-1393]. As an application, we discuss the existence and uniqueness for a solution of a nonlinear integral equation.  相似文献

Nadler’s contraction principle has led to fixed point theory of set-valued contraction in non-linear analysis. Inspired by the results of Nadler, the fixed point theory of set-valued contraction has been further developed in different directions by many authors, in particular, by Reich, Mizoguchi–Takahashi, Feng–Liu and many others. In the present paper, the concept of generalized contractions for set-valued maps in metric spaces is introduced and the existence of fixed point for such a contraction are guaranteed by certain conditions. Our first result extends and generalizes the Nadler, Feng–Liu and Klim–Wardowski theorems and the second result is different from the Reich and Mizoguchi–Takahashi results. As a consequence, we derive some results related to fixed point of set-valued maps satisfying certain conditions of integral type.  相似文献

KKM TYPE THEOREMS AND COINCIDENCE THEOREMS ON L-CONVEX SPACES   总被引:9,自引:0,他引:9
Some KKM theorems and coincidence theorems involving admissible set-valued mappings and the set-valued mappings with compactly local intersection property are proved in L-convex spaces. As applications, some new fixed point theorems are obtained in L-convex spaces. These theorems improve and generalize many important known results in recent literature.  相似文献

In this paper, using Lassonde’s fixed point theorem for Kakutani factorizable multifunctions and Park’s fixed point theorem for acyclic factorizable multifunctions, we will prove new existence theorems for general best proximity pairs and equilibrium pairs for free abstract economies, which generalize the previous best proximity theorems and equilibrium existence theorems due to Srinivasan and Veeramani [P.S. Srinivasan, P. Veeramani, On best approximation pair theorems and fixed point theorems, Abstr. Appl. Anal. 2003 (1) (2003) 33–47; P.S. Srinivasan, P. Veeramani, On existence of equilibrium pair for constrained generalized games, Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2004 (1) (2004) 21–29], and Kim and Lee [W.K. Kim, K.H. Lee, Existence of best proximity pairs and equilibrium pairs, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 316 (2006) 433–446] in several aspects.  相似文献

The Knaster-Kuratowski-Mazurkiewicz covering theorem (KKM), is the basic ingredient in the proofs of many so-called “intersection” theorems and related fixed point theorems (including the famous Brouwer fixed point theorem). The KKM theorem was extended from Rn to Hausdorff linear spaces by Ky Fan. There has subsequently been a plethora of attempts at extending the KKM type results to arbitrary topological spaces. Virtually all these involve the introduction of some sort of abstract convexity structure for a topological space, among others we could mention H-spaces and G-spaces. We have introduced a new abstract convexity structure that generalizes the concept of a metric space with a convex structure, introduced by E. Michael in [E. Michael, Convex structures and continuous selections, Canad. J. Math. 11 (1959) 556-575] and called a topological space endowed with this structure an M-space. In an article by Shie Park and Hoonjoo Kim [S. Park, H. Kim, Coincidence theorems for admissible multifunctions on generalized convex spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 197 (1996) 173-187], the concepts of G-spaces and metric spaces with Michael's convex structure, were mentioned together but no kind of relationship was shown. In this article, we prove that G-spaces and M-spaces are close related. We also introduce here the concept of an L-space, which is inspired in the MC-spaces of J.V. Llinares [J.V. Llinares, Unified treatment of the problem of existence of maximal elements in binary relations: A characterization, J. Math. Econom. 29 (1998) 285-302], and establish relationships between the convexities of these spaces with the spaces previously mentioned.  相似文献
