本文证明了任给T_O拓扑分子格(L,η),以下三条等价:(1)(L,η)为正则内射拓扑分子格;(2)L为完备集环且其完备余素元集ht(L)形成一连续格,余拓扑η为该连续格ht(L)上的Scott闭集格;(3)存在T_O内射拓扑空间(X,Τ),(L,η)同胚于(P(X),Τ~c)在拓扑分子格范畴中的Sober化。此外,还给出了正则内射拓扑分子格、(一般)内射拓扑分子格以及正则内射分子格的一般结构。作为应用,重新证明了有指数元的拓扑分子格的结构。  相似文献

It is shown that in a meet-continuous lattice L endowed with a multiplicative auxiliary order ≺ the family of all members of L which satisfy the axiom of approximation, i.e. α = {βL : βα}, is closed under finite infs and arbitrary sups. This is a key ingredient of a meet-continuous lattice proof that both regularity and complete regularity of many valued topology have subbasic characterizations. As a consequence, the frame law can now be eliminated from some fundamental results on completely regular L-valued topological spaces (e.g., this is the case in regard to the Tychonoff embedding theorem). A topological molecular lattice (TML) is a pair (L, T), where L is a completely distributive lattice and r is a subframe of L. There is an obvious forgetful functor from the category TML of TML‘s to the category Loc of locales. In this note,it is showed that this forgetful functor has a right adjoint. Then, by this adjunction,a special kind of topological molecular lattices called sober topological molecular lattices is introduced and investigated.  相似文献

We consider topologies on an abelian lattice ordered group that are determined by the absolute value and a positive filter. We show that the topological completions of these objects are also determined by the absolute value and a positive filter. We investigate the connection between the topological completion of such objects and the Dedekind–MacNeille completion of the underlying lattice ordered group. We consider the preservation of completeness for such topologies with respect to homomorphisms of lattice ordered groups. Finally, we show that topologies defined in terms of absolute value and a positive filter on the space C(X) of all real-valued continuous functions defined on a completely regular topological space X are always complete.  相似文献

We study structures called d-frames which were developed by the last two authors for a bitopological treatment of Stone duality. These structures consist of a pair of frames thought of as the opens of two topologies, together with two relations which serve as abstractions of disjointness and covering of the space. With these relations, the topological separation axioms regularity and normality have natural analogues in d-frames. We develop a bitopological point-free notion of complete regularity and characterise all compactifications of completely regular d-frames. Given that normality of topological spaces does not behave well with respect to products and subspaces, probably the most surprising result is this: The category of d-frames has a normal coreflection, and the Stone-?ech compactification factors through it. Moreover, any compactification can be obtained by first producing a regular normal d-frame and then applying the Stone-?ech compactification to it. Our bitopological compactification subsumes all classical compactifications of frames as well as Smyth?s stable compactification.  相似文献

The theory of topological semigroups has emerged as a separate discipline during the fifties (cf. Hofmann and Mostert [5] and Carruth, Koch and Hildebrant [3]), but the idea of topologically consistent regularity in such semigroups does not seem to have gained much attention. In this paper topological regular semigroups are introduced where the regularity is topologically consistent. The topological version of the structure theorem for regular semigroups given by Nambooripad [7] is provided here. Some special cases are also discussed. The necessary terminology on topological groupoids are available in Brown and Hardy [1] and Mackenzie [6].  相似文献

We study decomposition theorems for modular functions on lattices and the relationship between such decompositions and lattice properties of a suitable system of uniformities. We give a purely topological characterization for the validity of a decomposition theorem of a certain type and examine when this topological condition is satisfied, namely when a system of lattice uniformities is a Boolean algebra consisting of permutable uniformities.   相似文献

This can be described as being a universal solution in the sense of universal algebra. We consider the lattice of regular operators on a Dedekind complete Banach lattice. We show that in general the projection onto a band generated by a lattice homomorphism need not be continuous and that the principal bands need not be closed for the operator norm. In fact it is possible to find a convergent sequence of operators all the members of which are disjoint from the limit.

A topology on a set X is called consonant if the Scott topology of the lattice is compactly generated; equivalently, if the upper Kuratowski topology and the co-compact topology on closed sets of X coincide. It is proved that every completely regular consonant space is a Prohorov space, and that every first countable regular consonant space is hereditarily Baire. If X is metrizable separable and co-analytic, then X is consonant if and only if X is Polish. Finally, we prove that every pseudocompact topological group which is consonant is compact. Several problems of Dolecki, Greco and Lechicki, of Nogura and Shakmatov, are solved.  相似文献
