排气噪声可分为稳定排气噪声,周期性排气噪声和间歇性排气噪声,通过对锻压机离合器与制动器的排气噪声源的特性研究,指出间歇性气噪声是由管道噪声,阀门噪声和喷口噪声所组成,首次指出了间歇性排气噪声存在单极子噪声及爆炸声。通过理论计算及试验建立了一种有效的滤波了噪消声器结构。  相似文献

A hybrid approach for aeroacoustic analysis of the engine exhaust system   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
This paper presents a new hybrid approach for prediction of noise radiation from engine exhaust systems. It couples the time domain analysis of the engine and the frequency domain analysis of the muffler, and has the advantages of both. In this approach, cylinder/cavity is analyzed in the time domain to calculate the exhaust mass flux history at the exhaust valve by means of the method of characteristics, avoiding the tedious procedure of interpolation at every mesh point and solving a number of equations simultaneously at every junction. This is done by making use of an interrelationship between progressive wave variables of the linear acoustic theory and those of the method of characteristics. In this approach, nonlinear propagation in the exhaust pipe is neglected and free expansion is assumed at the radiation end of the exhaust pipe. In the case of a muffler proper, expansion from the exhaust pipe into the first chamber is assumed to be a free expansion. Various results of this approach are compared with those of the method of characteristics and the classical acoustic theory, and various peaks and troughs in insertion loss curves are analytically validated.  相似文献

The periodically blown out exhaust gas of a combustion engine may excite structural vibrations of the exhaust system. In addition to the noise of the orifice, these vibrations contribute to the overall noise radiation of the exhaust system. In this work, the excitation of structural vibrations of a rear muffler via the acoustic path is investigated both in experiments and simulations. In both cases transfer functions from the acoustic pressure at the inlet to the structural deflection on the surface of the rear muffler are determined and compared to each other. For the simulation an FE-FE (finite element) coupling is applied to account for the fluid-structure interaction. To efficiently predict the fluid-structure coupled behavior, a model reduction technique for the finite element method based on the Craig-Bampton method and the Rubin method is presented. In a last step, the sound radiation is evaluated by solving the exterior acoustic problem with the fast multipole boundary element method. For this purpose, the results of the FE computation are used as boundary datum.  相似文献

This work formulates the acoustical performance prediction on a single-inlet/double-outlet cylindrical expansion-chamber muffler. Expressions for the transmission loss (TL) of the muffler are formulated by using the modal meshing approach and the plane wave theory, respectively. The parametric influence upon the values of TL for this kind of muffler is numerically analyzed for various cases of length-diameter ratio, and the computed results of TL are compared to present the higher order mode effects. The results by the modal meshing approach are also compared with the finite element method to verify its accuracy.  相似文献

The effective elimination of sound energy traveling in open ducts is critical in acoustics, with considerable potential in diverse applications ranging from duct noise control to exhaust system design. However, previous absorber mechanisms are bulky or have limited ventilation or unsatisfactory absorption capability. We propose and experimentally demonstrate the concept of meta-mufflers capable of quasi-perfectly absorbing airborne sound propagating in an open duct while minimizing the influence on airflow because of its vanishing thickness. The mechanism uses coupling among asymmetric metasurfaces to achieve impedance match and subsequent high absorption in a subwavelength scale, which is explained analytically and validated experimentally. The proposed meta-muffler features an uncomplicated design, high attenuation efficiency, and a thickness of nearly two orders of magnitude of wavelength, ensuring the free pass of other entities. Furthermore, our design offers the flexibility of tuning and extending working bandwidth by hybridization of weak resonances. The performance of the proposed muffler is verified via experiments, which correlate excellently with theoretical predictions. The realization of meta-mufflers opens a route to novel acoustic absorbers and could have far-reaching implications in a plethora of important scenarios calling for both perfect sound absorption and open acoustic paths.  相似文献

The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of sound elimination in a cylindrical duct by combining a reactive muffler and active noise control (ANC) system. Besides the exploration via experiment of the combined noise control system, a Grey prediction based on Grey theory is also applied to ANC for this hybrid system.In the experiment for this system, a combined adaptive algorithm is adopted. The results of sound elimination are compared between cases with ANC systems installed before the muffler and after the muffler. The results indicate that the sequence of arrangement of muffler can influence the results of active noise control. According to the results of experiment and simulation, the effect of noise reduction in ANC system is influenced extremely by reference signal received. The transmission loss and insertion loss in this system are also discussed in details. Besides, the experimental results indicate that the hybrid system has the advantages over a traditional muffler when the muffler is not designed for the frequency of the noise. Furthermore, the mathematic simulation for acoustic field in a cylindrical duct with a muffler is performed in order to verify the experiment results. Finally, Grey theory is applied to estimate the expected signals in order to perform a computer simulation of Grey prediction to explore effects of the ANC system. The results indicate that application of Grey theory gives a good control for the hybrid system.  相似文献

To reduce low-frequency noise of the water-filled pipeline system,a compact flexible micro-perforated muffler with a flexible back cavity(FMPMFBC) is proposed.The flexible pipe wall is made of a rubber-cord composite material.A numerical solution for the transmission loss is derived.Firstly,the flexible micro-perforated panel(FMPP) is equivalent to a flexible porous material based on Biot-Allard porous-elastic theory.Then,a periodic structural unit of the aramid fabric cloth is established with the two-scale method,and the equivalent stiffness matrix is obtained.Besides,a multi-layer composite model for the flexible pipe wall is constructed according to the lamination theory.Coupling with the internal sound field,the transmission loss of the FMPMFBC is calculated.On a water-filled impedance tube,the transmission loss curves of the FMPMFBC prototypes are measured with the two source-location method,and compared with those of a flexible micro-perforated muffler with a rigid back cavity(FMPMRBC)and an expansion muffler.Theoretical results are experimentally verified.The FMPMFBC is a hybrid muffler combining reflection with dissipation,capable of attenuating broadband lowfrequency noise.The transmission loss of prototype B2 in the frequency bands of [40 300] Hz and [40 1200] Hz is 36 dB and 30 dB,respectively,while the transmission loss of the same-sized expansion muffler in the corresponding frequency bands is 7 dB and 11 dB,respectively.  相似文献

In this study, sound propagation through a circular duct with non-locally lining is investigated both numerically and experimentally. The liner concept is based on perforated screens backed by air cavities. Dimensions of the cavity are chosen to be of the order or bigger than the wavelength so acoustic waves within the liner can propagate parallel to the duct surface. This gives rise to complex scattering mechanisms among duct modes which renders the muffler more effective over a broader frequency range. This work emanates from the Cleansky European HEXENOR project which aim is to identify the best multi-cavity muffler configuration for reduction of exhaust noise from helicopter turboshaft engines. Here, design parameters are the cavity dimensions in both longitudinal and azimuthal directions. The best cavity configuration must in addition fit weight specifications which implies that the number of walls separating each cavity should be chosen as small as possible. To achieve these objectives, the scattering matrix of the lined duct section is obtained experimentally for two specific muffler configurations operating in multimodal propagation conditions. The good agreement with numerical predictions serves to validate the perforate plate impedance model used in our calculation. Finally, given an incident acoustic pressure which is representative of typical combustion noise spectrum, the best cavity configuration achieving the maximum overall acoustic Transmission Loss is selected numerically. The study also illustrates how the acoustic performances are dependent on the nature of the incident field.  相似文献

The tail pipe noise from a commercial automotive muffler was studied experimentally and numerically under the condition of wide open throttle acceleration in the present research. The engine was accelerated from 1000 to 6000 rpm in 30 s at the warm up condition. The transient acoustic characteristics of its exhaust muffler were predicted using one dimensional computational fluid dynamics. To validate the results of the simulation, the transient acoustic characteristics of the exhaust muffler were measured in an anechoic chamber according to the Japanese Standard (JIS D 1616). It was found that the results of simulation are in good agreement with experimental results at the 2nd order of the engine rotational frequency. At the high order of engine speed, differences between the computational and experimental results exist in the high revolution range (from 5000 to 6000 rpm at the 4th order, and from 4200 to 6000 rpm at the 6th order). According to these results, the differences were caused by the flow noise which was not considered in the simulation. Based on the theory of one dimensional CFD model, a simplified model which can provide an acceptable accuracy and save more than 90% of execution time compared with the standard model was proposed for the optimization design to meet the demand of time to market.  相似文献

针对管道内低频噪声难以抑制的问题,本文基于亥姆霍兹共振腔(HR)阵列吸声板和穿孔管消声器组合,设计了一种复合式宽带消声器。首先利用有限元法仿真分析传统穿孔管消声器,发现中低频消声能力较差,通过嵌入HR阵列吸声板吸收中低频噪声。采用仿真与实验的方式研究吸声板的声学性能:在400-1000 Hz频段内的平均吸声系数达到了0.88。然后对复合式消声器进行数值模拟及3D打印阻抗管实验测试对比:复合式消声器在400-1718Hz频率范围内的平均传递损失为18.15 dB ,最终实现了管道内全频带噪声有效控制。  相似文献

Commercial automotive mufflers are often too complex to be broken into a cascade of one-dimensional elements with predetermined transfer matrices. The one-dimensional (1-D) scheme presented in this paper is based on an algorithm that uses user-friendly visual volume elements along with the theory of transfer matrix based muffler analysis. This work attempts to exploit the speed of the one-dimensional analysis with the flexibility, generality and user-friendliness of three-dimensional analysis using geometric modeling. A code based on the developed algorithm has been employed to demonstrate the generality of the proposed method in analyzing commercial mufflers by considering three very diverse classes of mufflers with different kinds of combinations of reactive, perforated and absorptive elements. Though the examples used in the paper are not very complex for they are meant to be just representative cases of certain classes of mufflers, yet the algorithm can handle a large domain of commercial mufflers of high degree of complexity. Results from the present algorithm have been validated through comparisons with both the analytical (plane wave based) and the more general, three-dimensional FEM based results. The forte of the proposed method is its power to construct the system matrix consistent with the boundary conditions from the geometrical model to evaluate the four-pole parameters of the entire muffler and thence its transmission loss, etc. Thus, the algorithm can be used in conjunction with the transfer matrix based muffler programs to analyze the entire exhaust system of an automobile.  相似文献

利用试验手段研究暂冲式风洞稳定段内安装不同规格烧结金属丝网对风洞上游控制阀后气流噪声和湍流度抑制作用。试验结果表明:多层金属烧结丝网可在全频段内大幅度降低上游气流的噪声,最大可达21 dB;消声量与金属烧结丝网无量纲的压力损失系数成正比,压力降与金属烧结丝网层数呈现出非线性叠加的结果。另外发现烧结金属烧结丝网对气流速度脉动亦具有突出的抑制效果。例如,试验段马赫数Ma=1:5时,120目26层+160目26层组合烧结金属丝网出口气流速压脉动幅值减小为入口来流的18%,湍流度由11.7%降至3%。因此金属烧结丝网适合于暂冲式风洞的内场降噪。  相似文献

1/4波长管和Herschel-Quincke(HQ)管具有良好消声潜力,在其固有频率附近具有很高的消声量级,为了将这种消声潜力在更小的安装空间内和更宽的频带上发挥出来,设计了一种新的半波长管,通过对多管传声损失理论模型的推导,运用数值计算的方法,分析了传声损失的影响因素并对多分支管模型进行宽频带尺寸设计,最终实现在350~1350 Hz的宽频带的消声效果,并且通过实验验证了理论模型,同时利用实验数据对管端进行修正,结果证实了理论是正确的。所设计的多分支半波长管可以在复杂的应用场景进行灵活的结构设计,所以在航空发动机降噪、汽车尾气降噪和工厂排气降噪等领域具有更好的适应性和良好的应用前景。  相似文献

This paper presents the results of experimental studies of the noise of a residential split-system air-conditioner unit. The compressor and condenser and associated fans were removed from the unit and did not form part of the studies. Care was taken with the unit to separate the inlet and exhaust noise from the noise radiated from the cabinet. The measurements were made with a two-microphone sound intensity probe and these resulted in sound power level data. The sound power levels produced by radiation from the inlet, exhaust and cabinet were obtained for five different volume flow rates. The effect on the sound power generated by removing the coil was investigated. Measurements and subjective studies show that the low frequency sound is predominantly radiated from the exhaust and inlet. At high frequency, the cabinet noise dominates.  相似文献

In order to control low frequency noise in exhaust pipe, this paper puts forward a new concept of H-Q tube based semi-active muffler device. The semi-active muffler device and bench testing system have been designed and operated. Finite element simulation study on semi-active muffler and experimental study on semi-active muffler and passive muffler have been carried on. The effect of simulation and experiment are consistent. The semi-active muffler device acts well in low frequency band, especially between 50 Hz and 150 Hz. The average level of noise reduction is around 35 dB, which is much better than passive muffler. Between 150 Hz and 350 Hz, semi-active muffler has a better performance than passive muffler; above 350 Hz, it has worse performance compared with the passive muffler.  相似文献

针对气流通道彼此独立且截面尺寸较小的直管式阻性消声器,Belov基于声波导管理论推导了其消声量计算公式,但该公式不适用于气流通道彼此连通且截面尺寸较大的阵列式阻性消声器。为此,提出了一种阵列式消声器消声量计算方法。将阵列式消声器划分为周期性排列的消声单元,每个消声单元包含1个吸声柱。分别参照扩张式消声器和直管阻性消声器计算消声单元的抗性部分(进出口气流通道截面突变处)和阻性部分消声量的理论值TL1和TL2。在此基础上,采用有限元法仿真得到消声器消声量仿真值TLs,基于阻性部分消声量仿真值和理论值的比值(TLs-TL1)/TL2,拟合确定各倍频带阻性消声量修正函数Nf,即修正后的消声量理论值计算模型为TL′t=TL1+TL2·Nf。作为算例,建立了多孔吸声材料流阻率为11425 Pa·s/m2时适用于不同结构尺寸的阵列式消声器消声量计算模型。实测结果...  相似文献

This paper describes an adaptive quarter wave tube used to attenuate a tone from the exhaust noise of a large diesel engine. A sliding-Goertzel algorithm was used to calculate the phase angle of the transfer function between a microphone in the adaptive quarter wave tube and in the main exhaust duct. The control system adjusted the length of the adaptive quarter wave tube until the phase angle was −90° and caused the sound pressure level at the cylinder firing frequency in the exhaust duct to be minimized. The system was able to adapt to changes in engine speed, exhaust gas temperature, and load applied to the engine. The results demonstrate that the sliding-Goertzel algorithm can be used effectively to estimate the phase angle in an adaptive–passive acoustic control system.  相似文献
