Considering two identical two-level atoms interacting with two mode thermalfield through a nondegerate two-photon process, we study the entanglement dynamics between two atoms when the atomic coherence exists. It shows that the entanglement is dependent on the initial atomic states, and is greatlyenhanced due to atomic coherence as compared with the case when the atomic coherence is ignored. The results also show that the entanglement can be controlled by changing the relative phases and the amplitudes of the polarized atoms.  相似文献

建立了超冷V型三能级原子注入的微波激射的腔场光子统计的量子理论,研究了原子相干性对光子统计性质的影响.发现腔内原子的发射概率随腔长变化的曲线中存在着共振峰和非共振平台,原子相干性对这些共振峰和非共振平台的绝对大小和相对比例具有灵活的可调性.原子发射概率的这些特点对腔场光子统计产生了直接的影响.平均光子数随腔长变化的曲线中也存在着共振峰和非共振平台;给定腔长,适当调节原子相干参量,可以使光子数分布向大、小光子数两个方向灵活地移动,平均光子数也相应地增加和减少.研究中还发现,适当选取原子相干参量,光子统计在大 关键词: 微波激射 超冷V型三能级原子 原子相干性 光子统计  相似文献

The exact dynamics of an open quantum system consisting of one qubit driven by a classical driving field is investigated. Our attention is focused on the influences of single-and two-photon excitations on the dynamics of quantum coherence and quantum entanglement. It is shown that the atomic coherence can be improved or even maintained by the classical driving field, the non-Markovian effect, and the atom-reservoir detuning. The interconversion between the atomic coherence and the atom-reservoir entanglement exists and can be controlled by the appropriate conditions. The conservation of coherence for different partitions is explored, and the dynamics of a system with two-photon excitations is different from the case of single-photon excitation.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the model which consists of a degenerate Raman process involving two degenerate Rydberg energy levels of an atom interacting with a single-mode cavity field. The influence of the atomic coherence on the von Neumann entropy of the atom and the atomic inversion is investigated. It is shown that the atomic coherence decreases the amount of atom-field entanglement. It is also found that the collapse and revival times are independent of the atomic coherence, while the amplitude of the revivals is sensitive to this coherence. Moreover, the Q function and the entropy squeezing of the field are examined. Some new conclusions can be obtained.  相似文献

为了研究量子相干性在腔量子电动力学系统中的动力学和分布特性,基于两个各自捕获原子系综的光学腔建立了双光学腔系统,腔与腔之间由光纤耦合.利用相对熵度量的量子相干性,引入量子相干非平衡性的概念,分析了系统中相干动力学和光纤-腔耦合强度对相干性分布的影响.结果表明:在强耦合极限下,光纤-腔耦合强度的增加有利于保持两腔中的原子的整体相干性;光纤-腔耦合强度、原子-腔耦合强度以及原子数三个参数之间满足特定条件时,腔内的原子相干性可以传输至另一个腔.考虑腔、光纤及原子都存在耗散的情形,对比了不同耗散速率和非耗散情形下的相干性演化,发现耗散使得耦合双腔系统的相干性以及各个腔中的原子相干性发生衰减.  相似文献

在相应参量取值相同的情况下,利用数值模拟的方法对比研究了封闭的V型和Λ型原子系统稳态增益随相干光场失谐量的变化规律.研究发现,这两种系统的稳态探测激光增益随探测激光场失谐量的变化曲线具有相似的形状,但数值上存在差异.这一现象与两种系统的原子相干性与粒子数分布的特点直接相关.另外,还发现驱动激光失谐及由于自发辐射诱导相干导致的原子相干性的增强能显著影响探测激光增益. 关键词: 无粒子数反转激光 失谐 原子相干性 粒子数分布  相似文献

We experimentally demonstrate multiple frequency conversion via atomic spin coherence of storing a light pulse in a doped solid.The essence of this multiple frequency conversion is four-wave mixing based on stored atomic spin coherence.Through electromagnetically induced transparency,an input probe pulse is stored into atomic spin coherence by modulating the intensity of the control field.By using two different control fields to interact with the coherently prepared medium,the stored atomic spin coherence can be transformed into three different information channels.Multiple frequency conversion is implemented efficiently by manipulating the spectra of the control fields to scatter atomic spin coherence.This multiple frequency conversion is expected to have potential applications in information processing and communication network.  相似文献

Considering two identical two-level atoms interacting with a single-mode thermal field through two-photon processes, this paper studies the atomic coherence control on the entanglement between two two-level atoms, and finds that the entanglement is greatly enhanced due to the initial atomic coherence. Optical bistability in a unidirectional cavity has been analyzed based on a ground-state doublet three-level atomic model in which atoms are initially prepared in a coherent superposition state. It is shown that bistability can be realized due to the initial coherence. Furthermore, the bistable hysteresis cycle becomes wider as the initial polarization increases, and the bistability can be controlled by the initial coherence.  相似文献

Based on the cascade two-photon laser dynamic equation derived with the technique of quantum Langevin operators with the considerations of coherently prepared three-level atoms and the classical field injected into the cavity, we numerically study the effects of atomic coherence and classical field on the chaotic dynamics of a two-photon laser. Lyapunov exponent and bifurcation diagram calculations show that the Lorenz chaos and hyperchaos can be induced or inhibited by the atomic coherence and the classical field via crisis or Hopf bifurcations.  相似文献

光子带隙是指某一频率范围的波不能在周期变化的空间介质中传播,即这种结构本身存在“禁带”,并已成功地应用于滤波器、放大器和混频器等器件的设计中.此前,许多专家都致力于提高带隙的反射率,但其只能逐渐接近1.本文在囚禁于一维光晶格中的冷原子介质中实现两个可调光子带隙,并通过选择两基态为精细结构的三能级∧型原子系统,考虑自发辐射相干效应来探究这两个带隙的反射率.适当调节参数,探测场出现增益,从而获得较高反射率的带隙结构,甚至可以超过1.此外,两个带隙反射率还可以通过调节偶极矩之间的夹角以及非相干驱动场强度等参数来操控.  相似文献

We investigate the quantum dynamics of a two-photon micromaser pumped by atoms injected in the superposition state of the upper and intermediate levels. We simulate a master equation governing the system by the Monte Carlo wavefunction approach and analyse the steady-state behaviour as a function of the atomic transit time. The atomic coherence can effectively enhance the intensity and sub-Poissonian of the cavity field as compared with the atomic mixture. It is also discovered that the phase of the cavity field can be shifted by adjusting the detuning between the atom and field. This result shows that it is possible to manipulate the phase of the cavity field by detuning, due to atomic coherence.  相似文献

相干布居数拍频(coherent population beating, CPB)现象, 产生于一个Λ型三能级原子系统中, 当双色相干激光场的频率差和两基态能级频率间隔近失谐的时候, 原子在激发态能级上的布居数会产生一个弛豫振荡, 且振荡频率等于失谐量. 当将此现象运用于原子标准频率的提取时, CPB频标的稳定度与CPB信号的幅度及信噪比直接相关. 本文理论推导了描述CPB 现象的表达式, 数值模拟并实验研究了87Rb基态超精细子能级的相干性对CPB信号的影响, 通过控制与基态子能级共振相干激光场的抽运时间来控制能级的相干程度, 观测不同相干程度对CPB信号质量的影响. 研究结果表明CPB信号振荡的幅度与基态子能级相干程度成正比关系. 要改善CPB信号信噪比、提高原子频标稳定度, 建立、提高和保持基态超精细能级的相干性是关键. 本文还讨论了CPB现象用于弱磁场测量及其他方面应用的可行性.  相似文献

Quantum coherence and non-Markovianity of an atom in a dissipative cavity under weak measurement are investigated in this work. We find that: the quantum coherence obviously depends on the initial atomic state, the strength of the weak measurement and its reversal, the atom-cavity coupling constant and the non-Markovian effect. It is obvious that the weak measurement effect protects the coherence better. The quantum coherence is preserved more efficiently for larger atom-cavity coupling. The stronger the non-Markovian effect is, the more slowly the coherence reduces. The quantum coherence can be effectively protected by means of controlling these physical parameters.  相似文献

We discuss and analyze the absorption-amplification properties of a weak probe field in a typical four-level atomic system in the presence of an additional coherence term, the spontaneously generated coherence term. Theinfluences of the spontaneously generated coherence and a coherent pump field on the probe absorption (amplification)are investigated in detail. We show that the absorption of such a weak probe field can be dramatically enhanced dueto the presence of the spontaneously generated coherence. At the same time, the probe-absorption profile exhibitsthe double-peak structure and the probe-absorption peak gradually decreases as the pump intensity increases. On thecontrary, the amplification of such a weak probe field near the line center of the probe transition can be achieved byadjusting the coherent pump field intensity in the absence of the spontaneously generated coherence.  相似文献

This work explores the effect of spontaneous emission on coherence generation and population transfer in a threelevel ladder atomic system driven by two pulses in counterintuitive order.With adiabatic evolution and the weakdephasing approximation,we find that a large coherence and population transfer can be achieved even with spontaneous decay rate.The maximum coherence and population transfer decrease with the increase of spontaneous decay rate from the highest state to intermediate state.But this effect can be compensated by shortening the pulse width and enlarging the delay time.Results show that the coherence generation and population transfer never depend on the spontaneous decay rate from the intermediate state to ground state.The validity of the analytic solution is examined by numerical calculation.  相似文献

The atomic coherence in a three-level Λ atom is studied, in which each optical transition is driven by a coherent field and the metastable states are coupled to each other via a microwave field. It’s shown that the atomic coherence crucially depends on the relative phase delay between the envelopes of the amplitudes of the three coupling fields. In particular, when the phase delay is adjusted to 0 or π, the maximal atomic coherence arises, while the maximal atomic coherence doesn’t occur once the phase delay is changed to π/2. The maximal atomic coherence is attributed to the trapping of the population in the lower sublevels.  相似文献
