We study a cosmological implication of holographic dark energy in the Brans–Dicke gravity. We employ the holographic model of dark energy to obtain the equation of state for the holographic energy density in non-flat (closed) universe enclosed by the event horizon measured from the sphere of horizon named L. Our analysis shows that one can obtain the phantom crossing scenario if the model parameter α (of order unity) is tuned accordingly. Moreover, this behavior is achieved by treating the Brans–Dicke scalar field as a Chameleon scalar field and taking a non-minimal coupling of the scalar field with matter. Hence one can generate phantom-like equation of state from a holographic dark energy model in non-flat universe in the Brans–Dicke cosmology framework.  相似文献

We construct a holographic dark energy density in the modified gravity for a non-flat space. We incorporate possible modification of equation of state for the holographic energy density in the spirit of f(R) gravity. In this case we choose Jeans length as the IR cut-off in the holographic model. Then we employ the non-flat universe for the holographic modified gravity to obtain a general form of f(R) in this setup.  相似文献

In this work we consider the entropy-corrected version of interacting holographic dark energy (HDE), in the non-flat universe enclosed by apparent horizon. Two corrections of entropy so-called logarithmic ‘LEC’ and power-law ‘PLEC’ in HDE model with apparent horizon as an IR-cutoff are studied. The ratio of dark matter to dark energy densities u, equation of state parameter w D and deceleration parameter q are obtained. We show that the cosmic coincidence problem is solved for interacting models. By studying the effect of interaction in EoS parameter of both models, we see that the phantom divide may be crossed and also understand that the interacting models can drive an acceleration expansion at the present and future, while in non-interacting case, this expansion can happen only at the early time. The graphs of deceleration parameter for interacting models, show that the present acceleration expansion is preceded by a sufficiently long period deceleration at past. Moreover, the thermodynamical interpretation of interaction between LECHDE and dark matter is described. We obtain a relation between the interaction term of dark components and thermal fluctuation in a non-flat universe, bounded by the apparent horizon. In limiting case, for ordinary HDE, the relation of interaction term versus thermal fluctuation is also calculated.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to discuss the evolution of modified holographic dark energy with variable G in non-flat Kaluza–Klein universe. We consider the non-interacting and interacting scenarios of the modified holographic dark energy with dark matter and obtain the equation of state parameter through logarithmic approach. It turns out that the universe remains in different dark energy eras for both cases. Further, we study the validity of the generalized second law of thermodynamics in this scenario. We also justify that the statefinder parameters satisfy the limit of ΛCDM model.  相似文献

In this work, we have calculated the deceleration parameter, statefinder parameters and EoS parameters for different dark energy models with variable G correction in homogeneous, isotropic and non-flat universe for Kaluza-Klein Cosmology. The statefinder parameters have been obtained in terms of some observable parameters like dimensionless density parameter, EoS parameter and Hubble parameter for holographic dark energy, new agegraphic dark energy and generalized Chaplygin gas models.  相似文献

Motivated by Granda and Oliveros (GO) model, we generalize their work to the non-flat case. We obtain the evolution of the dark energy density, the deceleration and the equation of state parameters for the holographic dark energy model in a non-flat universe with GO cut-off. In the limiting case of a flat universe, i.e. k=0, all results given in GO model are obtained.  相似文献

Motivated by a recent work of one of us (Sheykhi in Phys Rev D 81: 023525, 2010), we extend it by using quantum (or entropy) corrected new agegraphic dark energy in the Brans–Dicke cosmology. The correction terms are motivated from the loop quantum gravity which is one of the competitive theories of quantum gravity. Taking the non-flat background spacetime along with the conformal age of the universe as the length scale, we derive the dynamical equation of state of dark energy and the deceleration parameter. An important consequence of this study is the phantom divide scenario with entropy-corrected new agegraphic dark energy. Moreover, we assume a system of dark matter, radiation and dark energy, while the later interacts only with dark matter. We obtain some essential expressions related with dark energy dynamics. The cosmic coincidence problem is also resolved in our model.  相似文献

In this paper we study the cosmological evolution of the holographic dark energy in a cyclic universe, generalizing the model of holographic dark energy proposed by Li. The holographic dark energy with c<1 can realize a quintom behavior; namely, it evolves from a quintessence-like component to a phantom-like one. The holographic phantom energy density grows rapidly and dominates the late-time expanding phase, helping to realize a cyclic universe scenario in which the high energy regime is modified by the effects of quantum gravity, causing a turn-around (and a bounce) of the universe. The dynamical evolution of holographic dark energy in the regimes of low energy and high energy is governed by two differential equations, respectively. It is of importance to link the two regimes for this scenario. We propose a link condition giving rise to a complete picture of holographic evolution of a cyclic universe.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the validity of the generalized second law of thermodynamics of the universe bounded by the event horizon. Here we consider homogeneous and isotropic model of the universe filled with perfect fluid in one case and in another case holographic model of the universe has been considered. In the third case the matter in the universe is taken in the form of non-interacting two fluid system as holographic dark energy and dust. Here we study the above cases in the Modified gravity, f(R) gravity.  相似文献

Motivated by the recent work of Wang, Lin, Pavon, and Abdalla [B. Wang, C.Y. Lin, D. Pavon, E. Abdalla, Phys. Lett. B 662 (2008) 1, arXiv: 0711.2214 [hep-th]], we generalize their work to the non-flat case. In particular, we provide a thermodynamical interpretation for the holographic dark energy model in a non-flat universe. For this case, the characteristic length is no more the radius of the event horizon (RERE) but the event horizon radius as measured from the sphere of the horizon (L  ). Furthermore, when interaction between the dark components of the holographic dark energy model in the non-flat universe is present its thermodynamical interpretation changes by a stable thermal fluctuation. A relation between the interaction term of the dark components and this thermal fluctuation is obtained. In the limiting case of a flat universe, i.e. k=0k=0, all results given in [B. Wang, C.Y. Lin, D. Pavon, E. Abdalla, Phys. Lett. B 662 (2008) 1, arXiv: 0711.2214 [hep-th]] are obtained.  相似文献

In this paper,we investigate the agegraphic dark energy(ADE) model by including the sign-changeable interaction between ADE and dark matter in non-flat universe. The interaction Q can change its sign from Q 0 to Q 0 as the universe expands. This indicates that at first dark matter decays to ADE,and then ADE decays to dark matter. We study the dynamical behavior of the model by using the phase-plane analysis. It is shown numerically that the coupling constant β plays an important role in the evolution of the universe. The equation of state(Eo S) of ADE with the sign-changeable interaction is more likely to cross the phantom divide w_d =-1 from top to bottom with the increasing of the |β|.Whereas in ADE model with usual interaction,wd can cross the phantom divide from bottom to top.We also find that our model is consistent with the observational data.  相似文献

In this paper, we have studied a homogeneous and anisotropic universe filled with matter and holographic dark energy components. Assuming deceleration parameter to be a constant, an exact solution to Einstein’s field equations in axially symmetric Bianchi type-I line element is obtained. A correspondence between the holographic dark energy models with the quintessence dark energy models is also established. Quintessence potential and the dynamics of the quintessence scalar field are reconstructed, which describe accelerated expansion of the universe.  相似文献

In this work, we consider a non-flat universe filled with Fermionic field. First, we have considered the holographic dark energy and new agegraphic dark energy in the framework of F-essence cosmology and investigated the consequences for their co-existence. The correspondence of F-essence with the above types of dark energy models have been investigated. The natures of K and Y for these correspondence of F-essence with the above dark energies have been analyzed.  相似文献

We consider the interaction between dark matter and dark energy in the framework of holographic dark energy, and propose a natural and physically plausible form of interaction, in which the interacting term is proportional to the product of the powers of the dark matter and dark energy densities. We investigate the cosmic evolution in such models. The impact of the coupling on the dark matter and dark energy components may be asymmetric. While the dark energy decouples from the dark matter at late time, just as other components of the cosmic fluid become decoupled as the universe expands, interestingly, the dark matter may actually become coupled to the dark energy at late time. We shall call such a phenomenon incoupling. We use the latest type Ia supernovae data from the SCP team, baryon acoustics oscillation data from SDSS and 2dF surveys, and the position of the first peak of the CMB angular power spectrum to constrain the model. We find that the interaction term which is proportional to the first power product of the dark energy and dark matter densities gives an excellent fit to the current data.  相似文献

Weak gravitational lensing is rapidly becoming one of the principal probes of dark matter and dark energy in the universe. In this brief review we outline how weak lensing helps determine the structure of dark matter halos, measure the expansion rate of the universe, and distinguish between modified gravity and dark energy explanations for the acceleration of the universe. We also discuss requirements on the control of systematic errors so that the systematics do not appreciably degrade the power of weak lensing as a cosmological probe.  相似文献

A unified model of dark energy and matter is presented using the modified variable Chaplygin gas for interacting dark energy in a non-flat universe. The two entities interact with each other non-gravitationally, which involves a coupling constant. Due to dynamic interaction, a variation in this constant arises that henceforth changes the equations of state of these quantities. We have derived the effective equations of state corresponding to matter and dark energy in this interacting model. Moreover, the case of phantom energy is deduced by putting constraints on the parameters involved.  相似文献

We have considered the generalized holographic and generalized Ricci dark energy models for acceleration of the universe. If the universe filled with only GHDE/GRDE the corresponding deceleration parameter, EOS parameter and statefinder parameters have been calculated. Next we have considered that the mixture of GHDE/GRDE and dark matter in interacting and non-interacting situations. Also the mixture of GHDE/GRDE and generalized Chaplygin gas have been analyzed during evolution of the universe. The natures of above mentioned parameters have been investigated for interacting and non-interacting situations. Finally, it follows that the prescribed models derive the acceleration of the universe.  相似文献

In this paper, author studied homogeneous and anisotropic Bianchi type-V universe filled with matter and holographic dark energy (DE) components. The exact solutions to the corresponding Einstein’s field equations are obtained for exponential and power-law volumetric expansion. The holographic dark energy (DE) EoS parameter behaves like constant, i.e. ω Λ =?1, which is mathematically equivalent to cosmological constant (Λ) for exponential expansion of the model, whereas the holographic dark energy (DE) EoS parameter behaves like quintessence for power-law expansion of the model. A correspondence between the holographic dark energy (DE) models with the quintessence dark energy (DE) is also established. Quintessence potential and dynamics of the quintessence scalar field are reconstructed, which describe accelerated expansion of the universe. The statefinder diagnostic pair {r,s} is adopted to characterize different phases of the universe.  相似文献
