Characterization for Fock-Type Space via Higher Order Derivatives and its Application

The space of entire functions \(\mathcal {F}_{\alpha }^{\infty }\) is mentioned in the paper of S. Janson, J. Peetre, and R. Rochberg. In this paper, we establish a characterization for the space \(\mathcal {F}_{\alpha }^{\infty }\) by \(n\) -th derivatives of entire functions. As an application of this result, we study the boundedness of Li-Stevi?’s integral operators and estimate essential norms of these operators acting on \(\mathcal {F}_{\alpha }^{\infty }\) . Furthermore we describe complete characterizations for boundedness and compactness of the Volterra-type integral operators on \(\mathcal {F}_{\alpha }^{\infty }\) .

Phase Derivative of Monogenic Signals in Higher Dimensional Spaces

In the Clifford algebra setting of a Euclidean space on the boundary of a domain it is natural to define a monogenic (analytic) signal to be the boundary value of a monogenic (analytic) function inside the domain. The question is how to define a canonical phase and, correspondingly, a phase derivative. In this paper we give an answer to these questions in the unit ball and in the upper-half space. Among the possible candidates of phases and phase derivatives we decided that the right ones are those that give rise to, as in the one dimensional signal case, the equal relations between the mean of the Fourier frequency and the mean of the phase derivative, and the positivity of the phase derivative of the shifted Cauchy kernel.     

On Euler Equations in Higher Order Sobolev Spaces

We consider the integral functional of calculus of variations involving higher order derivatives. It is shown that any local minimum of the functional solves the associated strongly nonlinear elliptic problem in a certain weak sense in spite of the fact that no growth conditions are imposed on the zero order term.

Higher Order Parallel Surfaces in Bianchi–Cartan–Vranceanu Spaces

We give a full classification of higher order parallel surfaces in three-dimensional homogeneous spaces with four-dimensional isometry group, i.e., in the so-called Bianchi–Cartan–Vranceanu family. This gives a positive answer to a conjecture formulated in [2]. As a partial result, we prove that totally umbilical surfaces only exist if the ambient Bianchi–Cartan–Vranceanu space is a Riemannian product of a surface of constant Gaussian curvature and the real line, and we give a local parametrization of all totally umbilical surfaces. A Characterization of Higher Rank Symmetric Spaces Via Bounded Cohomology

Let M be complete nonpositively curved Riemannian manifold of finite volume whose fundamental group Γ does not contain a finite index subgroup which is a product of infinite groups. We show that the universal cover is a higher rank symmetric space iff is injective (and otherwise the kernel is infinite dimensional). This is the converse of a theorem of Burger–Monod. The proof uses the celebrated Rank Rigidity Theorem, as well as a new construction of quasi-homomorphisms on groups that act on CAT(0) spaces and contain rank 1 elements. In the case of Ω∈ Lipγ(Sn-1)(0 γ≤ 1), we prove the boundedness of the Marcinkiewicz integral operator μΩon the variable exponent Herz-Morrey spaces. Also, we prove the boundedness of the higher order commutators μmΩ,bwith b ∈ BMO(Rn) on both variable exponent Herz spaces and Herz-Morrey spaces, and extend some known results.

Boundedness of Some Marcinkiewicz Integral Operators Related to Higher Order Commutators on Hardy Spaces

In this paper, the authors study the boundedness properties of μΩ↑m,b generated by the function b ∈Lipβ（R^n）（0 〈β≤ 1/m） and the Marcinkiewicz integrals operator μΩ. The boundednesses are established on the Hardy type spaces Hb^m^p,n（R^n） and the Herz Hardy type spaces Hbm Kq^α,p（R^b）.
