Analytical expressions are derived for the stresses near a rigid circular inclusion in a transversely isotropic shallow spherical shell under uniform pressure. The form of solution depends on the range of the transverse shear compliance parameter. The influence of the relative radius of a rigid inclusion and transverse shear compliance on stress concentration is analyzed __________ Translated from Prikladnaya Mekhanika, Vol. 41, No. 12, pp. 67–73, December 2005.  相似文献

Analytical expressions for the stresses near a circular hole in a transversely isotropic shallow spherical shell under uniform pressure are derived. The form of the solution depends on the range of change in the compliance to transverse shear. The influence of the relative radius of the hole and the compliance to transverse shear on the stress concentration is analyzed.__________Translated from Prikladnaya Mekhanika, Vol. 40, No. 12, pp. 99–106, December 2004.  相似文献

An exact analysis is carried out to study interaction of a time-harmonic plane-progressive sound field with a multi-layered elastic hollow sphere made of spherically isotropic materials with interlaminar bonding imperfections. A modal state equation with variable coefficients is set up in terms of appropriate displacement and stress functions and their spherical harmonics, ultimately leading to calculation of a global transfer matrix. A linear spring model is adopted to describe the interlaminar adhesive bonding whose effects are incorporated into the global transfer matrix by introduction of proper interfacial transfer matrices. The solution is first used to correlate the perturbation in the material elastic constants of an evacuated and water submerged steel (isotropic) spherical shell to the sensitivity of resonances appearing in the backscattered amplitude spectrum. The backscattering form function, in addition to the acoustic radiation force acting on selected transversely isotropic spherical shells with distinct degrees of material anisotropy, is subsequently calculated and discussed. An illustrative numerical example is given for a multi-layered hollow sphere with two distinct interlaminar interface conditions (i.e., perfectly and imperfectly bonded layers). Limiting cases are considered and fair agreements with solutions available in the literature are established.  相似文献

An analytical method was presented for the torsional vibrations of a rigid disk resting on transversely isotropic saturated soil. By Hankel transform, the dynamic governing differential equations for transversely isotropic saturated poroelastic medium were solved. Considering the mixed boundary-value conditions, the dual integral equations of torsional vibrations of a rigid circular plate resting on transversely isotropic saturated soil were established. By appropriate transform, the dual integral equations were converted into a Fredholm integral equation of the second kind. Subsequently, the dynamic compliance coefficient, the torsional angular amplitude of the foundation and the contact shear stress were expressed explicitly. Selected examples were presented to analyse the influence of saturated soil's anisotropy on the foundation's vibrations.  相似文献

Two-dimensional electroelastic analyses have been performed theoretically on a transversely isotropic piezoelectric material containing an elliptic hole, subjected to a uniform stress field and a uniform electric displacement field at infinity while the surface of the hole is free of traction and electrically open. Solutions are obtained by using the exact electric boundary condition based on the complex variation method. Explicit solutions for the distributions of the mechanical and electrical components on the rim of the elliptic hole are obtained. An interesting relationship between the stress concentration factor of an elliptic hole (Kt) and that of a circular hole (Ktt=1), Kt=1+Ktt=1-1t, is found in both elastic and piezoelectric materials. It is shown that the electromechanical coupling effect is helpful to reduce the stress concentration. And the influence of the dielectric parameter of the medium inside the hole on the stresses and the concerned stress concentration factor at the surface of the hole is weak in a wide range of the dielectric parameter. Comparisons with available results show good coincidence.  相似文献
