A coupled-wave analysis is given for a mixed hologram grating. The effect of spatial dephasing between the absorption and phase grating which was previously presented in transmission gratings is now developed for reflection ones. The effect is presented analytically and evaluated numerically for several cases. The analysis is motivated by the photorefractive effect in electro-optic crystals. 相似文献

提出了gyrator变换全息图,利用gyrator变换快速算法模拟实现了gyrator变换全息图的产生和再现,并研究了基于相移数字全息的gyrator变换全息图.在此基础上提出了采用正弦相位光栅实现光学图像加密的新方法.该方法利用gyrator变换在相空间的旋转特性,将gyrator变换的角度、光栅的频率及光栅的旋转角度作为加密密钥,并利用两个或两个以上的gyrator变换系统的级联实现图像加密,增加了系统的安全性.依据相移数字全息进行的两个gyrator变换系统级联的仿真实验验证了该方法的可行性、有效性及其良好的安全性能. 相似文献

提出了一种高鉴别能力的实时光学相关器,它采用液晶光阀作为实时输入器件,并利用其非线性变换特性对图像微分预处理,全息记录材料采用光折变晶体,且使用全取球面波作参考光。所给出的实验结果表明,该光学相关具有鉴别能力高,实时性和灵活性强,以及结构2紧凑的特点。 相似文献

A conjugate image plane correlator with holographic disk memory is proposed. Optical correlation between conjugate images reconstructed from a holographic disk and an input image on liquid-crystal television is executed with the rotation of the disk. Regardless of Fourier hologram recording with the pseudorandom diffuser, it is found possible to take out the diffuser from the original hologram recording scheme using an image reconstruction process and to get correlation signals between input and reconstructed conjugate images in the output plane of a two-lens imaging system. Generation of conjugate replicas with high contrast causes exact matching with an input image which results in high recognition performance for autocorrelation signals. The transfer function of an optical system can be controlled by adjustment of either hologram size or hologram area illuminated with a laser beam. Hence, the output intensity distribution can be adjusted by selecting a proper pupil function and the size of an output pupil defined by the input pupil size and the optical system magnification factor. The real-time character recognition by optical parallel high-speed processing for two dimensional images with position normalization is demonstrated. 相似文献

The correct determination of the spatial phase shift ?(p) in photorefractive materials is crucial to the proper characterization of novel materials. It is shown that the grating translation techniques commonly used for the measurement of ?(p) need to be reevaluated for high-gain materials. Strong energy and phase coupling leads to nonuniform slanted gratings, which result in an apparent dependence of the phase shift of the beam ratio and the optical polarization. A revised theory is presented, and analytical solutions are obtained for the special case of ?(p)?pi/2 . Numerical solutions for arbitrary ?(p) are in good agreement with measurements in a photorefractive polymer. 相似文献

A theoretical and experimental study of speckle registering in photorefractive BSO crystals through reflection hologram geometry is implemented. The three-dimensional speckle nature is considered in the diffraction efficiency calculations. The interference process produces index-of-refraction gratings in the speckle volume via the photorefractive effect. It is demonstrated that the coupled-wave theory for reflection geometry allows explaining the diffraction efficiency behavior when the interaction length is properly taken into account. It means that the speckle depth is related with the interaction length. The speckle depth can be controlled by the imaging system pupil aperture diameter. Under this condition, the influence of the speckle depth on the diffraction efficiency is analyzed. An agreement between the numerical model based on the coupled-wave theory and the experimental results is obtained. 相似文献

The photorefractive properties of Ge-doped glasses are routinely exploited for the production of Bragg gratings in optical fibres. Today, the most common fabrication procedure relies on the phase-mask technique, which allows to produce (through UV irradiation) a periodical refractive index variation in Ge-doped fibre cores. The same methodology can be applied to integrated optical components in photorefractive glass planar substrates. If rare earth ions (such as erbium and ytterbium) are included in the glass matrix, both active and photorefractive properties can be combined in the same material. This fact allows for the possibility of realizing complex integrated optical components, such as Bragg-reflection lasers and amplifiers. Monitoring the thermal condition of electrical equipment is necessary for maintaining the reliability of electrical system. The degradation of electrical equipment can cause excessive overheating, which can lead to the eventual failure of the equipment. Additionally, failure of equipment requires a lot of maintenance cost, manpower and can also be catastrophic- causing injuries or even deaths. Therefore, the recognition processof equipment conditions as normal and defective is an essential step towards maintaining reliability and stability of the system. The study introduces infrared thermography based condition monitoring of electrical equipment. Manual analysis of thermal image for detecting defects and classifying the status of equipment take a lot of time, efforts and can also lead to incorrect diagnosis results. An intelligent system that can separate the equipment automatically could help to overcome these problems. This paper discusses an intelligent classification system for the conditions of equipment using neural networks. Three sets of features namely first order histogram based statistical, grey level co-occurrence matrix and component based intensity features are extracted by image analysis, which are used as input data for the neural networks. The multilayered perceptron networks are trained using four different training algorithms namely Resilient back propagation, Bayesian Regulazation, Levenberg–Marquardt and Scale conjugate gradient. The experimental results show that the component based intensity features perform better compared to other two sets of features. Finally, after selecting the best features, multilayered perceptron network trained using Levenberg–Marquardt algorithm achieved the best results to classify the conditions of electrical equipment. 相似文献

在计算全息和分数傅里叶变换的基础上提出了不对称分数傅里叶变换计算全息和双随机相位不对称分数傅里叶变换计算全息。在这种方法中,首先用一随机相位函数乘以输入图像信息,然后沿x方向实施α级次的一维分数傅里叶变换,再乘以第二个随机相位函数,最后,沿y方向实施β级次的一维分数傅里叶变换。采用迂回位相编码法对变换后的结果编码,绘出计算全息图。为了恢复原始图像,需要知道变换级次和随机相位函数。利用这种方法进行图像加密,使加密图像的密钥由原来两重增加到四重,从而提高了系统的保密性能。 相似文献

We compare and analyze the filter properties of transmission-type volume holographic gratings, especially the dispersion characteristics for uniform and chirped gratings. It is theoretically and experimentally shown that the dispersion characteristics can be controlled by introducing one-dimensional chirping to the volume grating in a photorefractive crystal. The filter response including output power and dispersion comes from a combined effect of the spatial spectra of the grating structure, input beam, and output-coupling fiber mode. Filter responses can be designed by controlling these parameters for optical communication applications. 相似文献
