Phase evolution in the Bi---Sr---Ca---Cu---Al---O system was studied. Two Al-containing phases BiSr1.5Ca0.5Al2Oz and (Sr1−xCax)3Al2O6 (x = 0.4 − 0.45) were determined to be chemically compatible with Bi2.18Sr2CaCu2O8+x (Bi-2212) at temperatures of the samples processing. The phase equilibria in the title system were investigated above the solidus temperature. The BiSr1.5Ca0.5Al2Oz was found to be in equilibrium only with the melt and the (Sr1−xCax)3Al2O6 phase. This latter aluminate equilibrated with Ca,Sr cuprates, CaO, the Cu-free phase, and the liquid. The melting and solidification in Bi-2212, doped with the aluminate, corresponded to the reversible reaction Bi-2212 + BiSr1.5Ca0.5Al2Oz ↔ (Sr1−xCax)3Al2O6 + liquid. Two sets of superconducting composite materials with initial compositions Bi-2212 + nBiSr1.5Ca0.5Al2Oz and Bi-2212 + m(Sr1−xCax)3Al2O6 were prepared by solidification from the partial melt. The former material was composed mostly of large Bi-2212 lamellas separated by the BiSr1.5Ca0.5Al2Oz phase, which destroyed superconducting links between Bi-2212 grains. The latter material consisted of a Bi-2212 polycrystalline matrix with high concentration of small (ca. 3 μm) grains of (Sr1−xCax)3Al2O6 imbedded in Bi-2212 lamellas. The Bi-2212 + m(Sr1−xCax)3Al2O6 materials displayed a trend to enhance flux pinning at T = 60 K with the increase of aluminate phase content.  相似文献

本文通过分析不同几何配置下的偏振拉曼光谱对非线性光学晶体的晶格振动模式进行了研究. 首先根据因子群分析,将晶体的振动模按晶体对称群的不可约表示进行分类,其次测量了晶体在10–1600 cm-1范围内,不同几何配置下的偏振拉曼光谱,并在此基础上指认了晶体的晶格振动模式. 300 cm-1以下的振动峰,归结为晶体的外振动,来自[BiO6],[ZnO4],[BO4]和[BO3]原子基团的平动和转动;300cm-1以上为晶体的内振动,主要与Bi-O,和Zn-O键振动有关. 晶体拉曼光谱中最高振动频率达到1407 cm-1,被指认为[BO3]三角形中B-O键的伸缩振动,体现了[BO3]基团中高的电子非局域化程度. 关键词: 2ZnOB2O6单晶')" href="#">Bi2ZnOB2O6单晶 偏振拉曼光谱 振动模式  相似文献

使用牛津震动样品磁强计(VSM)研究了Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8单晶的磁滞回线.在20到40K温度之间发现了反常的尖锋效应,随样品O含量的增加,发生尖锋效应的外场也相应提高.可以认为在尖峰效应处发生了由涡漩物质的有序固态到无序固态的相变,在有少量点缺陷存在的BSCCO单晶相图上,Bsp线终止于20K温度处,在20K以下温区没有发生准格子到涡漩玻璃的相变,涡漩固相始终以准格子形式存在;可以认为尖峰效 关键词: 2Sr2CaCu2O8单晶')" href="#">Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8单晶 磁滞回线 尖锋效应 相变  相似文献

X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Mössbauer spectroscopy were used to study the annealing of the Fe40Ni38Mo4B18 amorphous alloy. The samples were isothermally annealed in the 858–878 K temperature range several times. Two crystalline phases were observed in the annealed samples: FeNi3 and (Fe, Ni, Mo)23B6. Preliminary results indicate that assuming a linear relationship between the area under the main XRD peak associated with the FeNi3 phase and its volume fraction, this can be fitted to a Johnson–Mehl–Avrami equation with an exponent n close to 1.0. Mössbauer results show a broad magnetic hyperfine field distribution in as-received samples and, consistent with XRD results, a sextet attributed to precipitates of FeNi3 (Bhf=29.5 T) for long annealing times.  相似文献

The DC and AC behaviour of Ag-sheathed Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu3Ox(BSCCO-2223) tapes, arranged in a z-stack configuration, are investigated. The number of tapes in the stack can be varied, from one (single tape) to four, as well as the inter-tape separation. Tapes are isolated and connected in series to ensure a uniform current distribution among the tapes. The critical currents and the average AC losses per tape as a function of the transport current are measured. By increasing the number of tapes or/and reducing the separation between them, the critical current of each tape is decreased while the average losses are increased. Tapes in a stack are found to be electromagnetically coupled, the degree of this coupling being dependent on the separation among them. Theoretical models are provided to explain the experimental results.  相似文献

Two samples of non-stoichiometric La2CuO4 were synthesized, one with La/Cu<2, and the other with 10% Sn substituting Cu. They were investigated by X-ray diffraction, Mössbauer spectroscopy, and microwave-absorption techniques. The microwave-absorption data indicated that they were both superconducting, with the transition temperatures Tc of 40.5 and 41.5 K, the one doped with Sn possessing the higher Tc. The Mössbauer spectra revealed that there exist two kinds of Sn(IV) atoms disordered with Cu. Their isomer shift, δ=−0.244(4) mm/s, is in agreement with Sn(IV) coordinated by oxygen. One site was characterized by a single Mössbauer line, being associated with a weakly distorted environment, wherein the Sn, coordinated more symmetrically, is surrounded by four Cu2+ ions. On the other hand, the other site, characterized by a Mössbauer doublet exhibited a quadrupole splitting Δ=1.07(2) mm/s, being associated with a highly distorted coordination, explained to be due to Sn occupying two adjacent cationic sites. To our knowledge, such a substitution for copper ions not resulting in a decrease of Tc has not been reported previously.  相似文献

Three Bi2Sr2Co2Oy thin films with different microstructures have been prepared by chemical solution deposition on LaAlO 3(001) through varying the annealing temperature.With the decrease in the annealing temperature,both the size and c-axis alignment degree of grains in the film decrease as well,leading to an increase in the film resistivity.In addition,the decrease in the annealing temperature also results in a slight increase in the Seebeck coefficient due to the enhanced energy filtering effect of the small-grain film.The nanostructured Bi2Sr2Co2Oy film with an average grain size of about 100 nm shows a power factor comparable to that of films with larger grains.Since the thermal conductivity of the nanostructured films can be depressed due to the enhanced phonon scattering by grain boundary,a higher figure of merit is expected in Bi2Sr2Co2Oy thin film with grains in nanometer size.  相似文献

Using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy we have performed a detailed study of bilayer splitting in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ as a function of doping level and temperature. In heavily overdoped samples where the splitting is the clearest, we extract an intracell coupling t∼55 meV. As a function of photon energy the intensity ratio of the bonding and antibonding bands varies, allowing us to detect the bilayer splitting effect in the optimal and underdoped regimes. Surprisingly, with reduced doping the intracell coupling is not measurably reduced. Upon cooling to the superconducting state, a gap Δ opens in both bands yet the magnitude of the splitting remains unchanged.  相似文献

We address a current controversy concerning the nature of the surfaces of Fe3O4(001) and γ-Fe2O3(001) grown on MgO(001) by molecular beam epitaxy. Despite recent claims to the contrary, we show that γ-Fe2O3(001) unambiguously exhibits a (1×1) surface net, in contrast to Fe3O4(001), which assumes a R45 reconstruction. In addition, we present high-energy-resolution Fe 2p and O 1s core-level photoelectron spectra obtained at both normal and grazing emission for γ-Fe2O3(001) and Fe3O4(001). These spectra show that the Fe3O4(001) surface has a higher Fe(III)/Fe(II) ratio than the bulk, and that the asymmetry in the O 1s line shape for Fe3O4(001) is due to final state effects rather than the presence of a surface oxygen or hydroxyl species.  相似文献

Magnetization curves were measured for Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 crystals which were irradiated with 5.8 GeV Pb ions along the c direction or at 45° with respect to it. Each ion produces continuous columnar that crosses the sample and yields a unidirectional pinning center. The density of the defects in the various samples ranges from 1010 to 2.5 X 1011 ions/cm2. In all the irradiated samples the width of the magnetization curves is found to be the largest for fields along the defects indicating that when the field is at other directions the vortices are tilted away from the defects. This manifests the important role of the Josephson coupling between the CuO2 planes. We also report on accelerated flux escape around zero magnetization and around zero field, particularly in samples with a high dose of irradiation.  相似文献

Significant enlargements of antidot diameter by Ar-ion milling were observed in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+y single-crystal films with antidot arrays as well as the thinning of the films. In an original sample with triangular array of antidots, whose diameter is about 200 nm, a few dip structures by the matching effect were observed in the vortex-flow resistance as a function of magnetic field. With increasing the milling time, the number of the dips increases and the appearance of the flow resistance becomes periodic oscillations. These features can be explained mainly by the increase of the antidot diameter.  相似文献

The variations of the high angle 00 peak-shape by means of X-ray l scans of the 00l fundamental reflections were investigated in detail for a highly oriented Bi2Sr2CaCu2Oy (Bi2212) crystal with sufficiently small intrinsic mosaicity and the same crystal annealed in air at 250, 300, 400, 600, and 750°C for 20 h in consequence. For the first time, we observed a new additional reflection almost overlapped original 00l fundamental reflection at annealing temperature below 400°C by X-ray diffraction measurement, which shows that there coexisted two sets of lattice periodicity in the c-direction of the annealed crystal. The new additional reflection appeared at 250°C and disappeared at 400°C. Its intensity was increased at 300°C. The measurements of the AC susceptibility, c-axis parameter and full width at half maximum (FWHM) of the 00 peaks showed that the new additional reflection was associated with the oxygen diffusion in CuO2 planes and the changes of strain field. The results provide the new experimental evidence that the structural distortion is more sensitive to the oxygen diffusion in CuO2 planes than to that in Bi–O layers.  相似文献

Specific heat data below 1 K of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 and YBa2Cu3O7 are analyzed. For YBa2Cu3O7 the nuclear specific heat, CN, amounts to 38T−2 μJ/mol K. CN for Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 exceeds that of YBa2Cu3O7 by a factor of 15. The nuclear quadrupolar specific heat contribution alone is insufficient to explain the data for YBa2Cu3O7, while lack of NQR data does not allow such a comparison in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 to be made. The contribution to CN from nuclear spins coupled via the contact hyperfine interaction with correlated magnetic spins (in the CuO2 plane) is derived as a function of the correlation length. This contribution can be treated independently from the quadrupolar term. We show that the excess specific heat in YBa2Cu3O7 likely originates in a few percentage of an impurity (oxygen deficient) phase with a strong hyperfine field on the Cu nuclei.  相似文献

Current-voltage characteristics of the surface intrinsic Josephson junctions under a magnetic field parallel to CuO_2 planes have been studied experimentally. Fiske steps in such a junction have been observed. The Swihart velocity for the junction is found to be 7.2×10^5m/s, which corresponds to the velocity mode of a single junction.  相似文献

We have observed the anomalous magnetization of Bi2Sr2CaCu2−xNixO8 (x = 0 and 0.02) single crystals. Anisotropy decreases with iodine intercalation although it expands the space between CuO2 layers. Iodine intercalation seems to suppress the magnetization anomaly for Ni = 1% crystals, but not for Ni = 1% substituted crystals. We have discussed these results in terms of the increase of anisotropy by Ni substitution and the dimensional crossover of flux lines. Effects of both oxygen concentration and substitution of a magnetic element for the Cu site on the anisotropy of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 crystals show the same tendency as the case of the YBa2Cu3O7 superconductor.  相似文献

Experimental investigations of superconductivity effects in single-phase and multiphase Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 single-crystals have been carried out at 142 GHz frequency by means of the standing wave profile method [1]. Josephson harmonic generation has been observed to be responsible for the appearence of additional peaks on the standing wave profile of the open dielectric resonator loaded with a properly orientated multiphase high-Tc superconductor specimen. This leads to the conclusion that most of the Josephson junctions in multiphase crystals are located in certain crystallographic planes. The investigations of temperature dependencies showed that sharp resonant peaks of conductivity observed earlier [2] at 60 GHz could also be observed at 142 GHz.  相似文献

Measurements of non-local in-plane resistance originating from transverse vortex-vortex correlations have been performed on a Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ high-Tc superconductor in a magnetic field up to 9 T applied along the crystal c-axis. Our results demonstrate that a rigid vortex lattice does exist over a broad portion of the magnetic field-temperature (H-T) phase diagram, well above the first-order transition (FOT) boundary HFOT(T). The results also provide evidence for the vortex lattice melting and vortex liquid decoupling phase transitions, occurring above the HFOT(T).  相似文献

The temperature dependent (30-300 K) Doppler broadening of the positron annihilated γ-radiation measurement has been investigated on single crystalline Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ (Bi-2212) high Tc superconducting samples along two different crystallographic orientations. It has been observed that throughout the temperature range the electron momentum distribution has a larger value along the crystallographic c-axis than in the a-b plane. The temperature dependent Doppler broadened positron annihilation γ-radiation lineshape analysis shows a step like increase of S-parameter at the temperature region 92-116 K.  相似文献

In this work we have performed the relaxation studies “in situ” of the electron instability effect (EIE) in the heterostructures based on BSCCO single crystals. The new effect of suppression of EIE or colossal electroresistance via application of an alternating low frequency electric field to the heterojunctions in the BSCCO-based single crystals has been found. It has been shown that the top possible frequencies for observation of the effect are of the order of 103 Hz. This fact is interpreted as accumulation of the oxygen ions driven by the electric field to the interface. On the other hand, it has been shown that the switching events are limited by two time processes: t≈1 ms and about ten seconds. The first ones are caused by rearrangement of a charge net in the degraded surface at the electric field switching. The latter are caused by oxygen diffusion to vacancies under electric field above some threshold value. The considered experimental data confirm the correlation character of the HTSC properties as Mott systems, which appears in extreme sensitivity to the doping level, in the tendency to phase separation under external actions, in the hysteresis character of the metal-insulator transition.  相似文献
