A series of lanthanide and lanthanide-transition metal compounds with isonicotinic acid (Hina) and oxalate ligands have been synthesized under hydrothermal reactions. X-Ray crystal structure analyses reveal that they have a rich structural chemistry. Three distinct structure types were exhibited with decreasing lanthanide radii: [LnCu(ina)(2)(C(2)O(4))].H(2)O (Ln=La 1, Pr 2, Nd 3) for type I, [Ln(ina)(C(2)O(4))(H(2)O)(2)] (Ln=Sm 4, Eu 5, Gd 6) for type II, and [Ln(ina)(C(2)O(4))(0.5)(OH)] (Ln=Tb 7, Dy 8, Er 9) for type III. The structure of type I has a 3d-4f heterometallic structure and consists of 1D channels along the b axis, which filled with guest water molecules. They exhibit a first 3D uninodal eight-connected framework with a unique 3(6).4(18).5(3).6 topology. Type II has 2D Ln-ina-C(2)O(4) 4(4)-nets, the nitrogen donors of the ina ligand are not coordinated to any of the metal ions, inducing the lower dimensional networks. Type III consists of 2D Ln-C(2)O(4) layers pillared by ina ligands to form a pillared-layer framework. The structure evolution is due to the versatile coordination modes of ina and oxalate ligands as well as the lanthanide contraction effect. Notably, the oxalate ligand was in situ synthesized from orotic acid through an oxidation-hydrolysis reaction. The type III materials show high thermal stability; luminescence properties of Nd 3, Sm 4, Eu 5, Tb 7 are also investigated.  相似文献

Open-framework cadmium succinates, [CN(3)H(6)](2)[Cd(2)(C(4)H(4)O(4))(Cl)(2)], I; [CN(3)H(6)](2)[Cd(C(4)H(4)O(4))(2)], II; Cd(2)(C(4)H(4)O(4))(2)(C(4)N(2)H(8))(H(2)O)(3), III; [C(4)N(2)H(12)][Cd(2)(C(4)H(4)O(4))(3)].4H(2)O, IV; Cd(C(4)H(4)O(4))(H(2)O)(2), V; and Cd(3)(C(4)H(4)O(4))(2)(OH)(2)], VI, of different dimensionalities have been synthesized by hydrothermal procedure by employing two different strategies, one involving the reaction of Cd salts with organic-amine succinates and the other involving the hydrothermal reaction of Cd salts with a mixture of succinic acid and the organic amine. While the latter procedure yields structures without any amine in them, the former gives rise to amine templated cadmium succinates with open architectures. By employing guanidinium succinate we have obtained I and II, and with piperazinium succinate we obtained III and IV. Of these I has a one-dimensional chain structure, IV has a layered structure, and II and III have three-dimensional architectures. The two cadmium succinates without incorporation of amine, V and VI, possess layered and three-dimensional structures, respectively. The three-dimensional structures II and III exhibit interpenetration similar to that in diamondoid and alpha-polonium type structures, respectively.  相似文献

Three series of mixed uranyl-lanthanide (Ce or Nd) carboxylate coordination polymers have been successfully synthesized by means of a hydrothermal route using either conventional or microwave heating methods. These compounds have been prepared from mixtures of uranyl nitrate, lanthanide nitrate together with phthalic acid (1,2), pyromellitic acid (3,4), or mellitic acid (5,6) in aqueous solution. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) single-crystal revealed that the phthalate complex (UO(2))(4)O(2)Ln(H(2)O)(7)(1,2-bdc)(4)·NH(4)·xH(2)O (Ln = Ce(1), Nd(2); x = 1 for 1, x = 0 for 2), is based on the connection of tetranuclear uranyl-centered building blocks linked to discrete monomeric units LnO(2)(H(2)O)(7) via the organic species to generate infinite chains, intercalated by free ammonium cations. The pyromellitate phase (UO(2))(3)Ln(2)(H(2)O)(12)(btec)(3)·5H(2)O (Ce(3), Nd(4)) contains layers of monomeric uranyl-centered hexagonal and pentagonal bipyramids linked via the carboxylate arms of the organic molecules. The three-dimensionality of the structure is ensured by the connection of remaining free carboxylate groups with isolated monomeric units LnO(2)(H(2)O)(7). The network of the third series (UO(2))(2)(OH)Ln(H(2)O)(7)(mel)·5H(2)O (Ce(5), Nd(6)) is built up from dinuclear uranyl units forming layers through connection with the mellitate ligands, which are further linked to each other through discrete monomers LnO(3)(H(2)O)(6). The thermal decomposition of the various coordination complexes led to the formation of mixed uranium-lanthanide oxide, with the fluorite-type structure at 1500 °C (for 1, 2) or 1400 °C for 3-6. Expected U/Ln ratio from the crystal structures were observed for compounds 1-6.  相似文献

The room-temperature crystallization of [C(6)N(2)H(18)][Zn(HPO(4))(H(2)PO(4))(2)], an organically templated zinc phosphate containing [Zn(2)(HPO(4))(2)(H(2)PO(4))(4)](4)(-) molecular anions, and its transformation to compounds containing either one- or two-dimensional inorganic components, [C(6)N(2)H(18)][Zn(3)(H(2)O)(4)(HPO(4))(4)], [C(4)N(2)H(12)][Zn(HPO(4))(2)(H(2)O)], or [C(3)N(2)H(6)][Zn(4)(OH)(PO(4))(3)], under hydrothermal conditions were studied in-situ using energy-dispersive X-ray diffraction. The ability to collect data during reactions in a large volume ( approximately 23 mL) Teflon-lined autoclave under real laboratory conditions has allowed for the elucidation of kinetic and mechanistic information. Kinetic data have been determined by monitoring changes in the integrated peak intensities of Bragg reflections and have been modeled using the Avrami-Erofe'ev expression. The crystallization of [C(6)N(2)H(18)][Zn(HPO(4))(H(2)PO(4))(2)] is a diffusion-controlled process, while nucleation is increasingly more important in determining the overall rate of the formation of [C(6)N(2)H(18)][Zn(3)(H(2)O)(4)(HPO(4))(4)], [C(4)N(2)H(12)][Zn(HPO(4))(2)(H(2)O)], and [C(3)N(2)H(6)][Zn(4)(OH)(PO(4))(3)]. The transformation of [C(6)N(2)H(18)][Zn(HPO(4))(H(2)PO(4))(2)] to [C(4)N(2)H(12)][Zn(HPO(4))(2)(H(2)O)] and [C(3)N(2)H(6)][Zn(4)(OH)(PO(4))(3)] occurs via a dissolution-reprecipitation mechanism, while the transformation to [C(6)N(2)H(18)][Zn(3)(H(2)O)(4)(HPO(4))(4)] may be the first observation of a direct topochemical conversion of one organically templated solid to another under hydrothermal conditions.  相似文献

The first examples of lanthanide(III) organoarsonates, Ln(L(1))(H(2)O)(3) (Ln = La (1), H(3)L(1) = 4-hydroxy-3-nitrophenylarsonic acid), Ln(L(1))(H(2)O)(2) (Ln = Nd (2), Gd (3)), and mixed-ligand lanthanide(III) organoarsonates, Ln(2)(HL(1))(2)(C(2)O(4))(H(2)O)(2) (Ln = Nd (4), Sm (5), Eu (6)), were hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. Compounds 1-3 feature a corrugated lanthanide arsonate layer, in which 1D lanthanide arsonate inorganic chains are further interconnected via bridging L(1)(3-) ligands. Compounds 4-6 exhibit a complicated 3D network. The interconnection of the lanthanide(III) ions by the bridging arsonate ligand leads to the formation of a novel 3D framework with long narrow 1D tunnels along the a-axis, with the oxalate anions are located at the above tunnels and bridging with lanthanide(III) ions. Compounds 2 and 4 exhibit the characteristic emission bands of the Nd(III) ion, whereas compound 6 displays the characteristic emission bands of the Eu(III) ion. The magnetic properties of compounds 3-6 were also investigated.  相似文献

Three Co(II)-malonate complexes, namely, (C(5)H(7)N(2))(4)[Co(C(3)H(2)O(4))(2)(H(2)O)(2)](NO(3))(2) (1), (C(5)H(7)N(2))(4)[Co(C(3)H(2)O(4))(2)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (2), and (C(5)H(7)N(2))(4)[Co(C(3)H(2)O(4))(2)(H(2)O)(2)](PF(6))(2) (3) [C(5)H(7)N(2) = protonated 2-aminopyridine, C(3)H(4)O(4) = malonic acid, NO(3)(-) = nitrate, ClO(4)(-) = perchlorate, PF(6)(-) = hexafluorophosphate], have been synthesized from purely aqueous media, and their crystal structures have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. A thorough analysis of Hirshfeld surfaces and fingerprint plots facilitates a comparison of intermolecular interactions in 1-3, which are crucial in building supramolecular architectures. When these complexes are structurally compared with their previously reported analogous Ni(II) or Mg(II) compounds, a very interesting feature regarding the role of counteranions has emerged. This phenomenon can be best described as anion-induced formation of extended supramolecular networks of the type lone pair-π/π-π/π-anion-π/π-lone pair and lone pair-π/π-π/π-anion involving various weak forces like lone pair-π, π-π, and anion-π interactions. The strength of these π contacts has been estimated using DFT calculations (M06/6-31+G*), and the formation energy of the supramolecular networks has been also evaluated. The influence of the anion (NO(3)(-), ClO(4)(-), and PF(6)(-)) on the total interaction energy of the assembly is also studied.  相似文献

Reaction of racemic cis-Rh(2)(C(6)H(4)PPh(2))(2)(OAc)(2)(HOAc)(2) with excess Me(3)OBF(4) in CH(3)CN results in the formation of racemic cis-[Rh(2)(C(6)H(4)PPh(2))(2)(CH(3)CN)(6)](BF(4))(2).0.5H(2)O (1.0.5H(2)O), an ionic dirhodium complex which has two cisoid nonlabile orthometalated phosphine bridging anions and six labile CH(3)CN ligands in equatorial and axial positions. Reactions of 1 with tetraethylammonium salts of the linear dicarboxylates, oxalate, terephthalate, and 4,4'-biphenyl-dicarboxylate, in organic solvents, produced racemic crystals of the triangular compounds [Rh(2)(C(6)H(4)PPh(2))(2)](3)(C(2)O(4))(3)(py)(6).6MeOH.H(2)O (2.6MeOH.H(2)O), [Rh(2)(C(6)H(4)PPh(2))(2)](3)(O(2)CC(6)H(4)CO(2))(3)(DMF)(6).6.5DMF.0.5H(2)O (3.6.5DMF.0.5H(2)O), and [Rh(2)(C(6)H(4)PPh(2))(2)](3)(O(2)CC(6)H(4)C(6)H(4)CO(2))(3)(py)(6).4.5CH(3)OH.0.75H(2)O (4.4.5CH(3)OH.0.75H(2)O), respectively. All compounds are electrochemically active. The relative chiralities of the dirhodium units in each triangle have been established using a combination of data from X-ray crystallography and (31)P NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Four new silver(I) double salts (L(2)H)(4)[Ag(10)(C(2))(CF(3)CO(2))(12)(L)(2)].5H(2)O (1), [Ag(8)(C(2))(CF(3)CO(2))(6)(L)(6)] (2), [(Ag(2)C(2))(AgC(2)F(5)CO(2))(6)(L)(3)(H(2)O)].H(2)O (3), and (L.H(3)O)(2)[Ag(11)(C(2))(2)(C(2)F(5)CO(2))(9)(H(2)O)(2)].H(2)O (4) incorporating the hitherto unexplored ligand 4-hydroxyquinoline (L) have been synthesized by the hydrothermal method. Compound 1 features an unprecedented bicapped square-antiprismatic Ag(10) silver cage with an embedded C(2)(2-) moiety, whereas the discrete supermolecule 2 bears a rhombohedral Ag(8) core similar to that previously found in Ag(2)C(2).6AgNO(3). Compound 3 contains a discrete supramolecular complex whose core is a (C(2))(2)@Ag(16) double cage constructed from the edge-sharing of two monocapped square antiprisms, which is completely surrounded by 12 pentafluoropropionate, 6 4-hydroxyquinoline, and 2 aqua ligands. The layer structure in 4 is constructed from a sinuous anionic silver column composed of fused irregular monocapped trigonal antiprisms each encapsulating a C(2)(2-) dianion, with L.H(3)O(+) species serving as hydrogen-bond connectors to adjacent columns.  相似文献

To study the conformations of 1,2,3,4,5,6-cyclohexanehexacarboxylic acid (H(6)L), eleven new coordination polymers have been isolated from hydrothermal reactions of different metal salts with 1e,2a,3e,4a,5e,6a-cyclohexanehexacarboxylic acid (3e+3a, H(6)L(I)) and characterized. They are [Cd(12)(mu(6)-L(II))(mu(10)-L(II))(3)(mu-H(2)O)(6)(H(2)O)(6)]16.5 H(2)O (1), Na(12)[Cd(6)(mu(6)-L(II))(mu(6)-L(III))(3)]27 H(2)O (2), [Cd(3)(mu(13)-L(II))(mu-H(2)O)] (3), [Cd(3)(mu(6)-L(III))(2,2'-bpy)(3)(H(2)O)(3)]2 H(2)O (4), [Cd(4)(mu(4)-L(VI))(2)(4,4'-Hbpy)(4)(4,4'-bpy)(2)(H(2)O)(4)]9.5 H(2)O (5), [Cd(2)(mu(6)-L(II))(4,4'-Hbpy)(2)(H(2)O)(10)]5 H(2)O (6), [Cd(3)(mu(11)-L(VI))(H(2)O)(3)] (7), [M(3)(mu(9)-L(II))(H(2)O)(6)] (M=Mn (8), Fe (9), and Ni (10)), and [Ni(4)(OH)(2)(mu(10)-L(II))(4,4'-bpy)(H(2)O)(4)]6 H(2)O (11). Three new conformations of 1,2,3,4,5,6-cyclohexanehexacarboxylate, 6e (L(II)), 4e+2a (L(III)) and 5e+1a (L(VI)), have been derived from the conformational conversions of L(I) and trapped in these complexes by controlling the conditions of the hydrothermal systems. Complexes 1 and 2 have three-dimensional (3D) coordination frameworks with nanoscale cages and are obtained at relatively low temperatures. A quarter of the L(I) ligands undergo a conformational transformation into L(II) while the others are transformed into L(III) in the presence of NaOH in 2, while all of the L(I) are transformed into L(II) in the absence of NaOH in 1. Complex 3 has a 3D condensed coordination framework, which was obtained under similar reaction conditions as 1, but at a higher temperature. The addition of 2,2'-bipyridine (2,2'-bpy) or 4,4'-bipyridine (4,4'-bpy) to the hydrothermal system as an auxiliary ligand also induces the conformational transformation of H(6)L(I). A new L(VI) conformation has been trapped in complexes 4-7 under different conditions. Complex 4 has a 3D microporous supramolecular network constructed from a 2D L(III)-bridged coordination layer structure by pi-pi interactions between the chelating 2,2'-bpy ligands. Complexes 5-7 have different frameworks with L(II)/L(VI) conformations, which were prepared by using different amounts of 4,4'-bpy under similar synthetic conditions. Both 5 and 7 are 3D coordination frameworks involving the L(VI) ligands, while 6 has a 3D microporous supramolecular network constructed from a 2D L(II)-bridged coordination layer structure by interlayer N(4,4'-Hbpy)--HO(L(II)) hydrogen bonds. 3D coordination frameworks 8-11 have been obtained from the H(6)L(I) ligand and the paramagnetic metal ions Mn(II), Fe(II), and Ni(II), and their magnetic properties have been studied. Of particular interest to us is that two copper coordination polymers of the formulae [{Cu(II) (2)(mu(4)-L(II))(H(2)O)(4)}{Cu(I) (2)(4,4'-bpy)(2)}] (12 alpha) and [Cu(II)(Hbtc)(4,4'-bpy)(H(2)O)]3 H(2)O (H(3)btc=1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid) (12 beta) resulted from the same one-pot hydrothermal reaction of Cu(NO(3))(2), H(6)L(I), 4,4'-bpy, and NaOH. The Hbtc(2-) ligand in 12 beta was formed by the in situ decarboxylation of H(6)L(I). The observed decarboxylation of the H(6)L(I) ligand to H(3)btc may serve as a helpful indicator in studying the conformational transformation mechanism between H(6)L(I) and L(II-VI). Trapping various conformations in metal-organic structures may be helpful for the stabilization and separation of various conformations of the H(6)L ligand.  相似文献

High-throughput methods have been employed to study the system Co(2+)/(H(2)O(3)PCH(2))(2)NCH(2)C(6)H(4)COOH/NaOH in detail. The use of the phosphonocarboxylic acid (H(2)O(3)PCH(2))(2)NCH(2)C(6)H(4)COOH has led to several new cobalt carboxyaryl phosphonates under hydrothermal conditions. In addition to the effect of the pH of the starting mixture, the influence of the counterions of the cobalt salts on the product formation was investigated. Thus, reaction trends as well as fields of formation could be identified. Four new compounds Co(2)[(O(3)PCH(2))(2)NCH(2)C(6)H(4)COOH].H(2)O (1), Co[(O(3)PCH(2))(OCH)NCH(2)C(6)H(4)COOH].H(2)O (2), Co[H(2)(O(3)PCH(2))(2)NCH(2)C(6)H(4)COOH] (3), and [Co(2)(O(3)PCH(2))(2)NCH(2)C(6)H(4)COOH].3.5H(2)O (4) were obtained, and compounds 1 and 2 could be isolated as single crystals suitable for single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The counterions of the cobalt salts have an influence on the structure of the resulting compounds. This is due to the effect on the initial pH as well as the possibility of the counterions to take part in redox reactions. Compounds 1 and 4 are formed under more basic conditions, and the phosphonic acid group is fully deprotonated. The structure of 1 is a rare example of the family of inorganic-organic hybrid materials with iminobis(methylphosphonic acid) units wherein the nitrogen coordinates to the metal center. Compound 2 is the result of an in situ oxidation of one of the P-C bonds; the organic building unit is stabilized by complexation of the cobalt ion. On the basis of spectroscopic, thermogravimetric, elemental chemical analysis, and EDX-analysis data, compound 3 has been characterized as Co[H(2)(O(3)PCH(2))(2)NCH(2)C(6)H(4)COOH] and compound 4 as [Co(2)(O(3)PCH(2))(2)NCH(2)C(6)H(4)COOH].3.5H(2)O. X-ray powder diffraction and IR-spectroscopic studies show that thermal treatment of 4 leads to the title compound 1. This transformation is accompanied by a change of color from pink to deep blue.  相似文献

Systematic explorations of new phases in the Ln(III)-V(V)-Se(IV)-O systems by hydrothermal syntheses led to four new quaternary compounds, namely, Nd(2)(V(V)(2)O(4))(SeO(3))(4)·H(2)O (1), Ln(V(V)O(2))(SeO(3))(2) (Ln = Eu 2, Gd 3, Tb 4). The structure of Nd(2)(V(V)(2)O(4))(SeO(3))(4)·H(2)O features a 3D framework composed of the 2D layers of [N d(SeO(3))](+) bridged by the infinite [VO(2)(SeO(3))](-) chains with the lattice water molecules located at the 6-membered ring tunnels formed. The structure of Ln(V(V)O(2))(SeO(3))(2) (Ln = Eu, Gd, Tb) also features a 3D framework composed of 2D layers of [Ln(SeO(3))](+) bridged by the infinite [(VO(2))(SeO(3))](-) double chains. The 1D vanadium oxide selenite chain of 1 differs significantly from those in compounds 2-4 in terms of the coordination modes of the selenite groups and the connectivities between neighbouring VO(6) octahedra. Luminescent and magnetic properties of these compounds were also measured.  相似文献

A novel templated uranium oxalate/glycolate, (UO2)4(O)2(C2O4)(H2C2O3)2.2[(C8H20)N] (a = 7.9230(8) A, b = 13.3793(13) A, c = 17.4141(18) A, beta = 96.006(2) degrees , monoclinic, P21/n, Z = 2), has been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions via in-situ ligand synthesis. The oxalate and glycolate anions have been formed through the oxidation of 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane, which proceeds through intermediates such as piperazine and ethylene glycol. Reported herein is the synthesis of this compound, crystal structure, and mechanistic information regarding the oxidation pathway.  相似文献

Two new holmium-succinate frameworks have been synthesized by hydrolysis in situ of the succinylsalicylic acid under different hydrothermal conditions. Compound 1, [Ho(2)(C(4)H(4)O(4))(3)(H(2)O)(2)]·0.33(C(7)H(6)O(3)), P ?i space group, has a novel structure composed by 1D-SBUs consisting of [HoO(9)] chains of polyhedra linked by the succinate ligands giving a 3D framework. Compound 2, [Ho(2)(C(4)H(4)O(4))(3)(H(2)O)(2)], also belonging to the P ?i space group, has a denser structure. The role of the in-situ-generated salicylic acid on formation of both structures is studied by means of a synthesis design methodology. A topological study of the new holmium succinate compounds in comparison with the previously reported 3D holmium-succinate framework is performed here.  相似文献

The hydrothermal reaction of thiosalicylic acid, (C(6)H(4)(CO(2)H)(SH)-1,2) with manganese(III) acetate leads to formation of the coordination solid [Mn(5)((C(6)H(4)(CO(2))(S)-1,2)(2))(4)(mu3-OH)2] (1) via a redox reaction, where resulting manganese(II) centres are coordinated by oxygen donor atoms and S-S disulfide bridge formation is simultaneously observed. Reaction of the same ligand under similar conditions with zinc(II) chloride yields the layered coordination solid [Zn(C(6)H(4)(CO(2))(S)-1,2)] (2). Hydrothermal treatment of manganese(III) acetate with 2-mercaptonicotinic acid, (NC(5)H(3)(SH)(CO(2)H)-2,3) was found to produce the 1-dimensional chain structure [Mn(2)((NC(5)H(3)(S)(CO(2))-2,3)(2))(2)(OH(2))(4)].4H(2)O (3) which also exhibits disulfide bridge formation and oxygen-only metal interactions. Compound 3 has been studied by thermogravimetric analysis and indicates sequential loss of lattice and coordinated water, prior to more comprehensive ligand fragmentation at elevated temperatures. The magnetic behaviour of 1 and 3 has been investigated and both exhibit antiferromagnetic interactions. The magnetic behaviour of 1 has been modelled as two corner-sharing isosceles triangles whilst 3 has been modelled as a 1-dimensional chain.  相似文献

The bidentate ligands N-phenyl-o-phenylenediamine, H(2)((2)L(N)IP), or its analogue 2-(2-trifluoromethyl)anilino-4,6-di-tert-butylphenol, ((4)L(N)IP), react with [Co(II)(CH(3)CO(2))(2)]4H(2)O and triethylamine in acetonitrile in the presence of air yielding the square-planar, four-coordinate species [Co((2)L(N))(2)] (1) and [Co((4)L(O))(2)] (4) with an S=1/2 ground state. The corresponding nickel complexes [Ni((4)L(O))(2)] (8) and its cobaltocene reduced form [Co(III)(Cp)(2)][Ni((4)L(O))(2)] (9) have also been synthesized. The five-coordinate species [Co((2)L(N))(2)(tBu-py)] (2) (S=1/2) and its one-electron oxidized forms [Co((2)L(N))(2)(tBu-py)](O(2)CCH(3)) (2 a) or [Co((2)L(N))(2)I] (3) with diamagnetic ground states (S=0) have been prepared, as has the species [Co((4)L(O))(2)(CH(2)CN)] (7). The one-electron reduced form of 4, namely [Co(Cp)(2)][Co((4)L(O))(2)] (5) has been generated through the reduction of 4 with [Co(Cp)(2)]. Complexes 1, 2, 2 a, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9 have been characterized by X-ray crystallography (100 K). The ligands are non-innocent and may exist as catecholate-like dianions ((2)L(N)IP)(2-), ((4)L(N)IP)(2-) or pi-radical semiquinonate monoanions ((2)L(N)ISQ)(*) (-), ((4)L(N)ISQ)(*) (-) or as neutral benzoquinones ((2) L(N)IBQ)(0), ((4) L(N)IBQ)(0); the spectroscopic oxidation states of the central metal ions vary accordingly. Electronic absorption, magnetic circular dichroism, and EPR spectroscopy, as well as variable temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements have been used to experimentally determine the electronic structures of these complexes. Density functional theoretical (DFT) and correlated ab initio calculation have been performed on the neutral and monoanionic species [Co((1)L(N))(2)](0,-) in order to understand the structural and spectroscopic properties of complexes. It is shown that the corresponding nickel complexes 8 and 9 contain a low-spin nickel(II) ion regardless of the oxidation level of the ligand, whereas for the corresponding cobalt complexes the situation is more complicated. Spectroscopic oxidation states describing a d(6) (Co(III)) or d(7) (Co(II)) electron configuration cannot be unambiguously assigned.  相似文献

The reactions of [N(3)P(3)Cl(6)] with one, two, or three equivalents of the difunctional 1,2-closo-carborane C(2)B(10)H(10)[CH(2)OH](2) and K(2)CO(3) in acetone have been investigated. These reactions led to the new spiro-closo-carboranylphosphazenes gem-[N(3)P(3)Cl(6-2n)[(OCH(2))(2)C(2)B(10)H(10)](n)] (n=1 (1), 2 (2)) and the first fully carborane-substituted phosphazene gem-[N(3)P(3)[(OCH(2))(2)C(2)B(10)H(10)](3)] (3). A bridged product, non-gem-[N(3)P(3)Cl(4)[(OCH(2))(2)C(2)B(10)H(10)]] (4), was also detected. The reaction of the well-known spiro derivatives [N(3)P(3)Cl(2)(O(2)C(12)H(8))(2)] and [N(3)P(3)Cl(4)(O(2)C(12)H(8))] with the same carborane-diol and K(2)CO(3) in acetone gave the new compounds gem-[N(3)P(3)(O(2)C(12)H(8))(3-n)[(OCH(2))(2)C(2)B(10)H(10)](n)] (n=1 (5) or 2 (6), respectively), without signs of intra- or intermolecularly bridged species. Upon treatment with NEt(3) in acetone, compound 5 was converted into the corresponding nido-carboranylphosphazene. However, the reaction of gem-[N(3)P(3)(O(2)C(12)H(8))(2)[(OCH(2))(2)C(2)B(10)H(10)]] (5) with NEt(3) in ethanol instead of acetone proceeded in a different manner to give the new compound (NHEt(3))(2)[N(3)P(3)(O(2)C(12)H(8))(2)(O)[OCH(2)C(2)B(9)H(10)CH(2)OCH(2)CH(3)]] (7). For compounds with two 2,2'-dioxybiphenyl units, gem-[N(3)P(3)(O(2)C(12)H(8))(2)[(OCH(2))(2)C(2)B(10)H(10)]] (5), (NHEt(3))[N(3)P(3)(O(2)C(12)H(8))(2)[(OCH(2))(2)C(2)B(9)H(10)]] (8), and (NHEt(3))(2)[N(3)P(3)(O(2)C(12)H(8))(2)(O)[OCH(2)C(2)B(9)H(10)CH(2)OCH(2)CH(3)]] (7), a mixture of different stereoisomers may be expected. However, for 5 and 7 only the meso compounds seem to be formed, with the same (R,S)-configuration as in the precursor [N(3)P(3)Cl(2)(O(2)C(12)H(8))(2)]. The reaction of 5 to give 8 seems to proceed with a change of configuration at one phosphorus center, giving a racemic mixture. The crystal structures of the nido-carboranylphosphazenes 7 and 8 have been confirmed by X-ray diffraction methods.  相似文献

New silver(i) double salts (Ag(2)C(2))(AgCF(3)CO(2))(8)(3-pyCONH(2))(2)(H(2)O)(4) (1), [(Ag(2)C(2))(AgCF(3)CO(2))(4)(4-pyCONH(2))(H(2)O)].H(2)O (2), (Ag(2)C(2))(AgCF(3)CO(2))(6)(3-pyCONH(2))(4) (3), (Ag(2)C(2))(AgCF(3)CO(2))(6)(3-pyCN)(2) (4) and (Ag(2)C(2))(AgCF(3)CO(2))(4)(4-pyCN)(2) (5) (n-pyCONH(2) is pyridine-n-carboxamide, n-pyCN is n-cyanopyridine; n=3, 4) have been synthesized by the hydrothermal method. All five compounds contain polyhedral silver(i) cages each encapsulating a C(2)(2-) dianion. Compounds 1, 3 ,4 and 5 exhibit three-dimensional structures, whereas compound 2 is a two-dimensional network. The structure of 1 is constructed from the linkage of a branched-tree architecture via hydrogen bonds. Unlike 4 and 5, which involve the connection of n-cyanopyridine (n=3, 4) with silver columns, 3 results from the linkage of discrete silver cages via pyridine-3-carboxamide.  相似文献

Two organically-templated layered uranium(IV) fluorooxalates, (H(4)TREN)[U(2)F(6)(C(2)O(4))(3)].4H(2)O (1) (TREN = tris(2-aminoethyl)amine) and (H(4)APPIP)[U(2)F(6)(C(2)O(4))(3)].4H(2)O (2) (APPIP = 1,4-bis(3-aminopropyl)piperazine), have been synthesized by hydrothermal methods and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, and magnetic susceptibility. Both structures consist of anionic [U(2)F(6)(C(2)O(4))(3)](4-) layers separated by organic ammonium cations and lattice water molecules. The UF(3)O(6) polyhedra are connected by oxalate ligands in different ways within the layers. They are the first examples of organically-templated uranium fluorooxalates. Crystal data for compound 1 follow: monoclinic, P2(1)/c (No. 14), a = 19.1563(5) A, b = 8.9531(2) A, c = 16.6221(4) A, beta = 114.633(1) degrees, and Z = 4. Crystal data for compound are the same as those for 1 except a = 10.3309(8) A, b = 15.564(1) A, c = 17.537(1) A, and beta = 95.430(4) degrees.  相似文献

Five salts, [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)](BPh(4)).CH(3)OH, [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)](PF(6)).CH(2)Cl(2), [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Cl.4H(2)O, [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Br.3.5H(2)O, and [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Cl.0.1H(2)O, have been crystallized and examined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. While the internal structure of the cation is similar in all salts, the interactions between cations vary in the different salts. Yellow [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)](BPh(4)).CH(3)OH and red [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)](PF(6)) form face-to-face dimers with Pt...Pt separations of 3.6617(6) and 3.340(2) A, respectively. In the latter, hydrogen bonding of the chelating ligand to adjacent anions facilitates the close approach of pairs of cations. The salts [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Cl.4H(2)O, [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Br.3.5H(2)O, and [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Cl.0.1H(2)O form columnar structures with Pt...Pt separations that range from 3.2514(5) to 3.5643(6) A. The water molecules and anions surround these columns and form bridges between neighboring columns. The electronic spectra of aqueous solutions of [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Cl.4H(2)O show spectral changes upon increasing concentrations of the platinum complex that are indicative of the formation of a dimer in solution with an equilibrium constant for dimerization of 23(1).  相似文献
