A discrete spectral problem is discussed, and a hierarchy of integrable nonlinear lattice equations related tothis spectral problem is devised. The new integrable symplectic map and finite-dimensional integrable systems are givenby nonlinearization method. The binary Bargmann constraint gives rise to a Backlund transformation for the resultingintegrable lattice equations.  相似文献

Starting from a discrete spectral problem, a hierarchy of integrable lattice soliton equations is derived. It is shown that the hierarchy is completely integrable in the Liouville sense and possesses discrete bi-Hamiltonian structure. A new integrable symplectic map and finite-dimensional integrable systems are given by nonlinearization method. The binary Bargmann constraint gives rise to a Bäcklund transformation for the resulting integrable lattice equations. At last, conservation laws of the hierarchy are presented.  相似文献

An integrable coupling family of Merola-Ragnisco-Tu lattice systems is derived from a four-by-four matrix spectral problem. The Hamiltonian structure of the resulting integrable coupling family is established by the discrete variational identity. Each lattice system in the resulting integrable coupling family is proved to be integrable discrete Hamiltonian system in Liouville sense. Ultimately, a nonisospectral integrable lattice family associated with the resulting integrable lattice family is constructed through discrete zero curvature representation.  相似文献

We construct a family of integrable Hamiltonian systems generalizing the relativistic periodic Toda lattice, which is recovered as a special case. The phase spaces of these systems are double Bruhat cells corresponding to pairs of Coxeter elements in the affine Weyl group. In the process we extend various results on double Bruhat cells in simple algebraic groups to the setting of Kac–Moody groups. We also generalize some fundamental results in Poisson–Lie theory to the setting of ind-algebraic groups, which is of interest beyond our immediate applications to integrable systems.  相似文献

A discrete matrix spectral problem and the associated hierarchy of Lax integrable lattice equations are presented, and it is shown that the resulting Lax integrable lattice equations are all Liouville integrable discrete Hamiltonian systems. A new integrable symplectic map is given by binary Bargmann constraint of the resulting hierarchy. Finally, an infinite set of conservation laws is given for the resulting hierarchy.  相似文献

The upper triangular matrix of Lie algebra is used to construct integrable couplings of discrete solition equations. Correspondingly, a feasible way to construct integrable couplings is presented. A nonlinear lattice soliton equation spectral problem is obtained and leads to a novel hierarchy of the nonlinear lattice equation hierarchy. It indicates that the study of integrable couplings using upper triangular matrix of Lie algebra is an important step towards constructing integrable systems.  相似文献

A semi-direct sum of two Lie algebras of four-by-four matrices is presented, and a discrete four-by-four matrix spectral problem is introduced. A hierarchy of discrete integrable coupling systems is derived. The obtained integrable coupling systems are all written in their Hamiltonian forms by the discrete variational identity. Finally, we prove that the lattice equations in the obtained integrable coupling systems are all Liouville integrable discrete Hamiltonian systems.  相似文献

In this paper,we focus on the construction of new(1+1)-dimensional discrete integrable systems according to a subalgebra of loop algebra A 1.By designing two new(1+1)-dimensional discrete spectral problems, two new discrete integrable systems are obtained, namely,a 2-field lattice hierarchy and a 3-field lattice hierarchy. When deriving the two new discrete integrable systems,we find the generalized relativistic Toda lattice hierarchy and the generalized modified Toda lattice hierarchy. Moreover,we also obtain the Hamiltonian structures of the two lattice hierarchies by means of the discrete trace identity.  相似文献

Based on a new discrete three-by-three matrix spectral problem, a hierarchy of integrable lattice equations with three potentials is proposed through discrete zero-curvature representation, and the resulting integrable lattice equation reduces to the classical Toda lattice equation. It is shown that thehierarchy possesses a Hamiltonian structure and a hereditary recursion operator. Finally, infinitely many conservation laws of corresponding lattice systems are obtained by a direct way.  相似文献

Two hierarchies of nonlinear integrable positive and negative lattice models are derived from a discrete spectral problem. The two lattice hierarchies are proved to have discrete zero curvature representations associated with a discrete spectral problem, which also shows that the positive and negative hierarchies correspond to positive and negative power expansions of Lax operators with respect to the spectral parameter, respectively. Moreover, the integrable lattice models in the positive hierarchy are of polynomial type, and the integrable lattice models in the negative hierarchy are of rational type. Further, we construct infinite conservation laws of the positive hierarchy, then, the integrable coupling systems of the positive hierarchy are derived from enlarging Lax pair.  相似文献

We develop a systematic procedure of finding integrable 6ldquo;relativistic” (regular one-parameter) deformations for integrable lattice systems. Our procedure is based on the integrable time discretizations and consists of three steps. First, for a given system one finds a local discretization living in the same hierarchy. Second, one considers this discretization as a particular Cauchy problem for a certain 2-dimensional lattice equation, and then looks for another meaningful Cauchy problem, which can be, in turn, interpreted as a new discrete time system. Third, one has to identify integrable hierarchies to which these new discrete time systems belong. These novel hierarchies are called then “relativistic”, the small time step $h$ playing the role of inverse speed of light. We apply this procedure to the Toda lattice (and recover the well-known relativistic Toda lattice), as well as to the Volterra lattice and a certain Bogoyavlensky lattice, for which the “relativistic” deformations were not known previously. Based on a discrete four-by-four matrix spectral problem, a hierarchy of Lax integrable lattice equations with two potentials is derived. Two Hamiltonian forms are constructed for each lattice equation in the resulting hierarchy by means of the discrete variational identity. A strong symmetry operator of the resulting hierarchy is given. Finally, it is shown that the resulting lattice equations are all Liouville integrable discrete Hamiltonian systems.  相似文献

Starting from multidimensional consistency of non-commutative lattice-modified Gel’fand–Dikii systems, we present the corresponding solutions of the functional (set-theoretic) Yang–Baxter equation, which are non-commutative versions of the maps arising from geometric crystals. Our approach works under additional condition of centrality of certain products of non-commuting variables. Then we apply such a restriction on the level of the Gel’fand–Dikii systems what allows to obtain non-autonomous (but with central non-autonomous factors) versions of the equations. In particular, we recover known non-commutative version of Hirota’s lattice sine-Gordon equation, and we present an integrable non-commutative and non-autonomous lattice modified Boussinesq equation.  相似文献

A direct way to construct integrable couplings for discrete systems is presented by use of two semi-direct sum Lie algebras. As their applications, the discrete integrable couplings associated with modified Korteweg--de Vries (m-KdV) lattice and two hierarchies of discrete soliton equations are developed. It is also indicated that the study of integrable couplings using semi-direct sums of Lie algebras is an important step towards the complete classification of integrable couplings.  相似文献

Recently, there has been observed an interesting correspondence between supersymmetric quiver gauge theories with four supercharges and integrable lattice models of statistical mechanics such that the two-dimensional spin lattice is the quiver diagram, the partition function of the lattice model is the partition function of the gauge theory and the Yang–Baxter equation expresses the identity of partition functions for dual pairs. This correspondence is a powerful tool which enables us to generate new integrable models. The aim of the present paper is to give a short account on a progress in integrable lattice models which has been made due to the relationship with supersymmetric gauge theories and make clear notes on the special functions used by several authors.  相似文献

We examine the integrable lattice systems proposed by Adler, Bobenko and Suris from the point of view of the existence of integrable non-autonomous forms. We show, using the singularity confinement criterion, that both the H and Q families can be deautonomised, leading to a lattice with variable step in each dimension, as already assumed in the original paper. A new linearisable equation is identified as a special case of the Q4 lattice. We present its linearisation and obtain its non-autonomous extension.  相似文献

We construct a nonlinear integrable coupling of discrete soliton hierarchy, and establish the infinite conservation laws(CLs) for the nonlinear integrable coupling of the lattice hierarchy. As an explicit application of the method proposed in the paper, the infinite conservation laws of the nonlinear integrable coupling of the Volterra lattice hierarchy are presented.  相似文献

During the last few decades, algebraic geometry has become a tool for solving differential equations and spectral questions of mechanics and mathematical physics. This paper deals with the study of the integrable systems from the point of view of algebraic geometry, inverse spectral problems and mechanics from the point of view of Lie groups. Section 1 is preliminary giving a little background. In Section 2, we study a Lie algebra theoretical method leading to completely integrable systems, based on the Kostant-Kirillov coadjoint action. Section 3 is devoted to illustrate how to decide about the algebraic complete integrability (a.c.i.) of Hamiltonian systems. Algebraic integrability means that the system is completely integrable in the sense of the phase space being foliated by tori, which in addition are real parts of a complex algebraic tori (abelian varieties). Adler-van Moerbeke's method is a very useful tool not only to discover among families of Hamiltonian systems those which are a.c.i., but also to characterize and describe the algebraic nature of the invariant tori (periods, etc.) for the a.c.i. systems. Some integrable systems, such as Kortewege—de Vries equation, Toda lattice, Euler rigid body motion, Kowalewski's top, Manakov's geodesic flow on S O (4), etc. are treated.  相似文献

We make use of Manton's analytical method to investigate the force between kinks and anti-kinks at large distances in 1+1 dimensional field theory. The related potential has infinite order corrections of exponential pattern, and the coefficients for each order are determined. These coefficients can also be obtained by solving the equation of the fluctuations around the vacuum. At the lowest order, the kink lattice represents the Toda lattice. With higher order correction terms, the kink lattice can represent one kind of generic Toda lattice. With only two sites, the kink lattice is classically integrable. If the number of sites of the lattice is larger than two,the kink lattice is not integrable but is a near integrable system. We make use of Flaschka's variables to study the Lax pair of the kink lattice. These Flaschka's variables have interesting algebraic relations and non-integrability can be manifested. We also discuss the higher Hamiltonians for the deformed open Toda lattice, which has a similar result to the ordinary deformed Toda.  相似文献

Inspired by the forms of delay-Painleve equations, we consider some new differential-discrete systems of KdV, mKdV and Sine-Gordon — type related by simple one way Miura transformations to classical ones. Using Hirota bilinear formalism we construct their new integrable discretizations, some of them having higher order. In particular, by this procedure, we show that the integrable discretization of intermediate sine-Gordon equation is exactly lattice mKdV and also we find a bilinear form of the recently proposed lattice Tzitzeica equation. Also the travelling wave reduction of these new lattice equations is studied and it is shown that all of them, including the higher order ones, can be integrated to Quispel-Roberts-Thomson (QRT) mappings.  相似文献
