The paper is devoted to the investigation of topological properties of space mappings. It is shown that orientation-preserving mappings f:D ?[`(\mathbbRn)] f:D \to \overline {{\mathbb{R}^n}} in a domain D ì \mathbbRn D \subset {\mathbb{R}^n} , n ≥ 2; which are more general than mappings with bounded distortion, are open and discrete if a function Q corresponding to the control of the distortion of families of curves under these mappings has slow growth in the domain f (D), e.g., if Q has finite mean oscillation at an arbitrary point y 0f (D).  相似文献

We study space mappings more general than the mappings with bounded distortion in the sense of Reshetnyak. We consider questions related to the local behavior of mappings differentiable almost everywhere, possessing Properties N, N ?1, ACP, and ACP ?1, and such that quasiconformality coefficient satisfies a certain restriction on growth. We show that the value of a mapping satisfying these requirements on an arbitrary neighborhood of an essential singularity can be greater in absolute value than the logarithm of the inverse radius of the ball raised to an arbitrary positive power.  相似文献

For the mappings f:D ? It follows from Banach’s fixed point theorem that every nonexpansive self-mapping of a bounded, closed and convex set in a Banach space has approximate fixed points. This is no longer true, in general, if the set is unbounded. Nevertheless, as we show in the present paper, there exists an open and everywhere dense set in the space of all nonexpansive self-mappings of any closed and convex (not necessarily bounded) set in a Banach space (endowed with the natural metric of uniform convergence on bounded subsets) such that all its elements have approximate fixed points.  相似文献

It is shown that if a point x 0 ∊ ℝ n , n ≥ 3, is an essential isolated singularity of an open discrete Q-mapping f : D → [`(\mathbb Rn)] \overline {\mathbb {R}^n} , B f is the set of branch points of f in D; and a point z 0 ∊ [`(\mathbb Rn)] \overline {\mathbb {R}^n} is an asymptotic limit of f at the point x 0; then, for any neighborhood U containing the point x 0; the point z 0 ∊ [`(f( Bf ?U ))] \overline {f\left( {B_f \cap U} \right)} provided that the function Q has either a finite mean oscillation at the point x 0 or a logarithmic singularity whose order does not exceed n − 1: Moreover, for n ≥ 2; under the indicated conditions imposed on the function Q; every point of the set [`(\mathbb Rn)] \overline {\mathbb {R}^n} \ f(D) is an asymptotic limit of f at the point x 0. For n ≥ 3, the following relation is true: [`(\mathbbRn )] \f( D ) ì [`(f Bf )] \overline {\mathbb{R}^n } \backslash f\left( D \right) \subset \overline {f\,B_f } . We consider a family of open discrete mappings f:D ?[`(\mathbb Rn)] f:D \to \overline {{{\mathbb R}^n}} that distort, in a special way, the p-modulus of a family of curves that connect the plates of a spherical condenser in a domain D in \mathbb Rn {{\mathbb R}^n} ; p > n-1; p < n; and bypass a set of positive p-capacity. We establish that this family is normal if a certain real-valued function that controls the considered distortion of the family of curves has finite mean oscillation at every point or only logarithmic singularities of order not higher than n - 1: We show that, under these conditions, an isolated singularity x 0D of a mapping f:D\{ x0 } ?[`(\mathbb Rn)] f:D\backslash \left\{ {{x_0}} \right\} \to \overline {{{\mathbb R}^n}} is removable, and, moreover, the extended mapping is open and discrete. As applications, we obtain analogs of the known Liouville and Sokhotskii–Weierstrass theorems.  相似文献

The paper considers a class of real integrals performed by using a convenient integral in the complex plane. A complex integral containing a multi-valued function with two branch points is transformed into another integral containing a pole and a unique branch point. As a by-product we obtain a new class of integrals which can be calculated in a very simple way.  相似文献

For mappings acting in the product of metric spaces we propose a concept of vector covering. This concept is a natural extension of the notion of covering formappings inmetric spaces. The statements on the solvability of systems of operator equations are proved for the case when the left-hand side of an equation is a value of a vector covering mapping and the right-hand side is Lipschitzian vector mapping. In the scalar case the obtained statements are equivalent to the coincidence point theorems by A. V. Arutyunov. As an application, we prove a statement on the existence of n-fold coincidence points and obtain estimates of the points. The sufficient conditions for n-fold fixed points existence, including the well-known theorems on double fixed point, follow from the obtained results.  相似文献

The article is devoted to the study of the boundary properties of homeomorphisms f: DD′, D,D′ ? ? n , satisfying some geometric conditions responsible for the control of the measure of distortion of families of curves in D. We prove that a branched immersion of a surface with boundary into a differentiable manifold has no false branch points (in fact, no ramified points) if the immersion induces an isomorphism of fundamental groups and some other natural hypotheses are satisfied.
