Fully quantum mechanical calculations are carried out for both doubly even and doubly odd nuclei in the rare-earth region using the angular momentum projection method. We investigate the mechanisms of backbending in doubly even nuclei and signature inversion in doubly odd nuclei using a common hamiltonian for both types of nuclei and show that these two seemingly different phenomena are due to the crossing of decoupled bands. Agreement between theory and experiment is quite satisfactory.  相似文献

Permanent rotations of a magnetized spacecraft are considered. The shape of the cone of the permanent axes is revealed, and those generants on it which correspond to the actual motion are noted. By formulating Lyapunov functions certain axes about which the rotation is stable are isolated. In conclusion a series of particular cases is considered. The radiation field of the elementary particles of an extensive air shower in the geomagnetic field has been examined. According to the solutions of Maxwell’s equation for an electron (positron) taking into account ionization losses, the radiation of the shower is determined only by the bremsstrahlung and geomagnetic mechanism. The Cherenkov component of radiation is almost absent.  相似文献

Based on the chaotic geomagnetic field model, a non-smooth factor is introduced to explore complex dynamical behaviors of a system with multiple time scales. By regarding the whole excitation term as a parameter, bifurcation sets are derived, which divide the generalized parameter space into several regions corresponding to different kinds of dynamic behaviors. Due to the existence of non-smooth factors, different types of bifurcations are presented in spiking states, such as grazing-sliding bifurcation and across-sliding bifurcation. In addition, the non-smooth fold bifurcation may lead to the appearance of a special quiescent state in the interface as well as a non-smooth homoclinic bifurcation phenomenon. Due to these bifurcation behaviors, a special transition between spiking and quiescent state can also occur.  相似文献

Summary In 1939 Schmidt denied the presence of nonpotential geomagnetic field observed on the Earth’s surface, after stating that the nonvanishment of curl z B must be merely a consequence of remaining errors in geomagnetic observations. His paper was so influential that the discussion on nonpotential magnetic field disappeared ever since. The apparent nonvanishment of curl z B (calculated from the differences of observed magnetic-field values at neighbouring meshpoint stations) would be, however, more reasonably attributable to a possible small-scale inhomogeneity in underground magnetic susceptibility or/and electric conductivity, whose spatial wavelength is shorter than the distance between observation meshpoints. To speed up publication, the proofs were not sent to the authors and were supervised by the Scientific Committee.  相似文献

地磁学的发展经历了两千多年的历史,文章回顾了这一漫长历史的四个主要阶段,对每一阶段研究的基本物理问题和主要进展做了简要概述.地磁场的空间分布、地磁场起源、地磁场长期变化和西向漂移、磁极移动和极性倒转、地磁场与人类生存环境等,是地磁学的基本物理问题.文章还从物理概念、研究现状和地磁学以及相关学科当前存在的问题等几个方面对地磁学未来的发展趋势做了简要的说明.  相似文献

Often in nature the temporal distribution of inhomogeneous stochastic point processes can be modeled as a realization of renewal Poisson processes with a variable rate. Here we investigate one of the classical examples, namely, the temporal distribution of polarity reversals of the geomagnetic field. In spite of the commonly used underlying hypothesis, we show that this process strongly departs from a Poisson statistics, the origin of this failure stemming from the presence of temporal clustering. We find that a Lévy statistics is able to reproduce paleomagnetic data, thus suggesting the presence of long-range correlations in the underlying dynamo process.  相似文献

Amplitudes of spectral geomagnetic field components and signal/noise ratios are estimated at frequencies of lunar and solar tides based on the data registered at the experimental site of Vladimir State University (VlSU) and Japanese geomagnetic stations Kakioka (1913–2006) and Memambetsu (1950–1999). The influence of thermal solar tides S1, S2, S3, and S4 and lunar gravitational tides O1, M2, and N2 on the geomagnetic field of the surface layer of the atmosphere is reliably distinguished.  相似文献

将角动量投影壳模型应用到84Rb核,对组态为πg9/2νg9/2的正宇称晕带和组态为π(p3/2,f5/2)νg9/2的负宇称晕带理论计算和实验结果进行了比较,特别是对正宇称晕带中的signature反转机理进行了探讨.角动量投影壳模型计算显示正宇称晕带中的signature反转是原子核随自旋增加形状发生变化的信号,其间原子核从低自旋的长椭球通过三轴形变变到高自旋的扁椭球.此外,还确定了此两带的原子核形状.  相似文献
