A smoothed Hermite radial point interpolation method using gradient smoothing operation is formulated for thin plate analysis. The radial basis functions augmented with polynomial basis are used to construct the shape functions that have the important Delta function property. The smoothed Galerkin weakform is adopted to discretize the governing partial differential equations, and a curvature smoothed operation is developed to relax the continuity requirement and achieve accurate bending solutions. The approximation based on both deflection and rotation variables make the proposed method very effective in enforcing the essential boundary conditions. The effects of different numbers of sub-smoothing-domains created based on the triangular background cell are investigated in detail. A number of numerical examples have been studied and the results show that the present method is very stable and accurate even for extremely irregular background cells.  相似文献

应用小波自相关函数的插值性质,得到任意给定函数的插值小波表达式,然后对其直接求导,可以得到函数导数的表达式。导数运算不再应用差分算法,扩展了小波方法在数值求解微分方程中的应用。由于小波基函数的有限支撑特点,小波方法可以有效地处理微分方程中解的局部突变问题。通过设定小波系数阀值,实现了求解过程的自适应。本文给出了两个算例,结果表明了算法的自适应特点及其向二维空间问题推广的有效性。  相似文献

While Krylov and Bogolyubov used harmonic functions in their averaging method for the approximate solution of weakly non-linear differential equations with oscillatory solution, we apply a similar averaging technique using Jacobi elliptic functions. These functions are also periodic and are exact solutions of strongly non-linear differential equations. The method is used to solve non-linear differential equations with linear and non-linear small dissipative terms and/or with time dependent parameters. It is also shown that quite general dissipative terms can be transformed into time-dependent parameters. As a special example, the Langevin (collisional) equation of motion of electrons in a neutralizing ion background under the influence of a time and space-dependent electric field is presented. The method may also be used for non-linear control theory, dynamic and parametric stabilization of non-linear oscillations in plasma physics, etc.  相似文献

提出一种基于三角网格的求解双曲对流方程的高阶守恒型格式.该格式首先在每个三角单元上重构二元三次Hermite插值多项式,以当前时刻单元节点处解的函数值、一阶空间导数值和该单元的积分平均值为插值条件.然后,利用Semi-Lagrange方法得到单元节点处的下一时刻解的函数值及导数值,而下一时刻的解的单元积分平均值由有限体积方法得到.本文所提出的格式将原始CIP方法从结构网格推广到非结构网格上,使得CIP方法能灵活地用于处理复杂边界问题.该格式为显式紧致格式,计算简单且易于实现.数值实验表明,该格式对于光滑解问题能达到四阶空间精度,而对于非光滑解问题能准确地捕捉激波的位置,改进了原始CIP格式的不守恒性.  相似文献

In this paper, the Exp-function method with the aid of the symbolic computational system Maple is used to obtain the generalized solitonary solutions and periodic solutions for nonlinear evolution equations arising in mathematical physics, namely, (2+1)-dimensional Konopelchenko–Dubrovsky equations, the (3+1)-dimensional Jimbo–Miwa equation, the Kadomtsev–Petviashvili (KP) equation, and the (2+1)-dimensional sine-Gordon equation. It is shown that the Exp-function method, with the help of symbolic computation, provides a powerful mathematical tool for solving other nonlinear evolution equations arising in mathematical physics.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a discretization of the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations involving a second-order time scheme based on the characteristics method and a spatial discretization of finite element type. Theoretical and numerical analyses are detailed and we obtain stability results abnd optimal eror estimates on the velocity and pressure under a time step restriction less stringent than the standard Courant-Freidrichs-Levy condition. Finally, some numerical results obtained wiht the code N3S are shown which justify the interest of this scheme and its advantages with respect to an analogous first-order time scheme. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A high-order discontinuous Galerkin (DG) method is proposed in this work for solving the two-dimensional steady and unsteady incompressible Navier-Stokes (INS) equations written in conservative form on arbitrary grids. In order to construct the interface inviscid fluxes both in the continuity and in the momentum equations, an artificial compressibility term has been added to the continuity equation for relaxing the incompressibility constraint. Then, as the hyperbolic nature of the INS equations has been recovered, the local Lax-Friedrichs (LLF) flux, which was previously developed in the context of hyperbolic conservation laws, is applied to discretize the inviscid term. Unlike the traditional artificial compressibility method, in this work, the artificial compressibility is introduced only for the construction of the inviscid numerical fluxes; therefore, a consistent discretization of the INS equations is obtained, irrespective of the amount of artificial compressibility used. What is more, as the LLF flux can be obtained directly and straightforward, no numerical iteration for solving an exact Riemann problem is entailed in our method. The viscous term is discretized by the direct DG method, which was developed based on the weak formulation of the scalar diffusion problems on structured grids. The performance and the accuracy of the method are demonstrated by computing a number of benchmark test cases, including both steady and unsteady incompressible flow problems. Due to its simplicity in implementation, our method provides an attractive alternative for solving the INS equations on arbitrary grids.  相似文献

结合Fourier级数展开方法,本文提出了基于精细积分的时变周期系数Riccati微分方程求解高效算法.首先,利用Fourier级数展开方法将周期系统表示成三角级数形式,在一个积分步内使用精细积分方法得到对应Hamilton系统状态转移矩阵的表达式.然后,通过Riccati变换的方法,得到含有状态转移矩阵的时变周期系数Riccati微分方程解的递推格式.本文方法充分利用了方程本身的周期性特点,文中的数值算例表明算法具有计算效率高、结果可靠等优势.  相似文献

提出了一种基于AH(Associated Hermite)正交基函数求解对流扩散方程的无条件稳定算法。该算法将方程的时间项通过Hermite多项式作为正交基函数进行展开,利用Galerkin方法消除时间变量项,从而导出有限维AH域隐式差分方程,突破了传统显式差分格式稳定性条件的限制,最后通过对AH域展开系数的求解得到该对流扩散方程的数值解。在数值算例中,将该算法与传统显示差分法和交替方向隐式差分法进行对比分析,数值计算结果表明,算法无条件稳定且其计算精度与时间步长无关,对于具有精细结构的对流换热问题,该算法具有明显的效率优势,且保持了较高的精度。  相似文献

Parametric excitation of a nonlinear physical pendulum by modulation of its moment of inertia is analyzed in terms of physics as an example of the suggested approach. The modulation is provided by a redistribution of auxiliary masses. The system is investigated both analytically and with the help of computer simulations. The threshold and other characteristics of parametric resonance are found and discussed in detail. The role of nonlinear properties of the physical system in restricting the resonant swinging is emphasized. Phase locking between the drive and oscillations of the pendulum and the phenomenon of parametric autoresonance are investigated. The boundaries of parametric instability are determined as functions of the modulation depth and the quality factor. The feedback providing active optimal control of amplification and attenuation of oscillations is analyzed. An effective method of suppressing undesirable rotary oscillations of suspended constructions is suggested.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove a result that says: Given an approximate solution and frequency to a periodic solution of an autonomous delay differential equation that satisfies a certain noncriticality condition, there is an exact periodic solution and frequency in a neighborhood of the approximate solution and frequency and, furthermore, numerical estimates of the size of the neighborhood are computed. We extend the temporal spectral element method further to study the periodic orbits of general autonomous nonlinear delay differential equations (DDEs) with one constant delay. Although we describe the approach for one delay to keep the presentation clear, the extension to multiple delays is straightforward. We also show the underlying similarities between this method and the method of collocation. The spectral element method that we present here can be used to find both the periodic orbit and its stability. This is demonstrated with a variety of different examples, namely, the delayed versions of Mackey–Glass equation, Van der Pol equation, and Duffing equation. For each example, we show the method’s convergence behavior using both p and h refinement and we provide comparisons between equal size meshes that have different distributions.  相似文献

In this article, the homotopy analysis method has been applied to solve a coupled nonlinear diffusion–reaction equations. The validity of this method has been successful by applying it for these nonlinear equations. The results obtained by this method have a good agreement with one obtained by other methods. This work illustrates the validity of the homotopy analysis method for the nonlinear differential equations. The basic ideas of this approach can be widely employed to solve other strongly nonlinear problems.  相似文献
