In this paper, we find the approximate solution of a second order nonlinear partial differential equation on a simple connected region inR 2. We transfer this problem to a new problem of second order nonlinear partial differential equation on a rectangle. Then, we transformed the later one to an equivalent optimization problem. Then we consider the optimization problem as a distributed parameter system with artificial controls. Finally, by using the theory of measure, we obtain the approximate solution of the original problem. In this paper also the global error inL 1 is controlled.  相似文献

A hybrid heuristic method for combinatorial optimization problems is proposed that combines different classical techniques such as tree search procedures, bounding schemes and local search. The proposed method enhances the classic beam search approach by applying to each partial solution corresponding to a node selected by the beam, a further test that checks whether the current partial solution is dominated by another partial solution at the same level of the search tree. If this is the case, the latter solution becomes the new current partial solution. This step allows to partially recover from previous wrong decisions of the beam search procedure and can be seen as a local search step on the partial solution. We present here the application to two well known combinatorial optimization problems: the two-machine total completion time flow shop scheduling problem and the uncapacitated p-median location problem. In both cases the method strongly improves the performances with respect to the basic beam search approach and is competitive with the state of the art heuristics.  相似文献

A solution concept in optimization problems with interval-valued objective functions, which is essentially similar to the concept of nondominated solution in vector optimization problems, is introduced by imposing a partial ordering on the set of all closed intervals. The interval-valued Lagrangian function and interval-valued Lagrangian dual function are also proposed to formulate the dual problem of the interval-valued optimization problem. Under this setting, weak and strong duality theorems can be obtained.  相似文献

Saddle Point Optimality Conditions in Fuzzy Optimization Problems   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The fuzzy-valued Lagrangian function of fuzzy optimization problem via the concept of fuzzy scalar (inner) product is proposed. A solution concept of fuzzy optimization problem, which is essentially similar to the notion of Pareto solution in multiobjective optimization problems, is introduced by imposing a partial ordering on the set of all fuzzy numbers. Under these settings, the saddle point optimality conditions along with necessary and sufficient conditions for the absence of a duality gap are elicited.  相似文献

We investigate an infinite dimensional optimization problem which constraints are singular integral-pointwise ones. We give some partial results of existence for a solution in some particular cases. However, the lack of compactness, even in L1 prevents to conclude in the general case. We give an existence result for a weak solution (as a measure) that we are able to describe. The regularity of such a solution is still an open problem.  相似文献

In this paper, a new method for finding the approximate solution of a second order nonlinear partial differential equation is introduced. In this method the problem is transformed to an equivalent optimization problem. Then, by considering it as a distributed parameter control system, the theory of measure is used for obtaining the approximate solution of the original problem.  相似文献

The topic of the paper is in the field of sculptured surface machining (SSM) on multi-axis NC machines. It presents novel results of investigation of tool-path generation for sculptured surface machining on multi-axis NC machines. The purpose of the paper is to develop an integral form of solution to the problem of optimal tool-path generation. The concept of time-minimal tool-paths is introduced, as well as the optimization problem being formulated analytically. The problem of optimization is subdivided into the following three partial sub-problems: (a) the problem of local tool-path generation; (b) the problem of regional tool-path generation, and finally, (c) the problem of global tool-path generation. The paper presents a closed-form solution to the first two sub-problems. A solution to the problem of optimal tool-path generation is given in the form of an integral equation. The obtained solution enables one to retain the optimal cutter configuration (i.e., the cutter position, and the cutter orientation), as well as the optimal instant direction of feed-rate at every cutter location-point (further, CC-point).  相似文献

The problem for determining the exchange rate function of 2D CCPF model by measurements on the partial boundary is considered and solved as one PDE-constraint optimization problem. The optimal variant is the minimum of a cost functional that quantifies the difference between the measurements and the exact solutions. Gradientbased algorithm is used to solve this optimization problem. At each step, the derivative of the cost functional with respect to the exchange rate function is calculated and only one forward solution and one adjoint solution are needed. One method based on the adjoint equation is developed and implemented. Numerical examples show the efficiency of the adjoint method.  相似文献

The solution concepts of the fuzzy optimization problems using ordering cone (convex cone) are proposed in this paper. We introduce an equivalence relation to partition the set of all fuzzy numbers into the equivalence classes. We then prove that this set of equivalence classes turns into a real vector space under the settings of vector addition and scalar multiplication. The notions of ordering cone and partial ordering on a vector space are essentially equivalent. Therefore, the optimality notions in the set of equivalence classes (in fact, a real vector space) can be naturally elicited by using the similar concept of Pareto optimal solution in vector optimization problems. Given an optimization problem with fuzzy coefficients, we introduce its corresponding (usual) optimization problem. Finally, we prove that the optimal solutions of its corresponding optimization problem are the Pareto optimal solutions of the original optimization problem with fuzzy coefficients.  相似文献

A solution concept for fuzzy multiobjective programming problems based on ordering cones (convex cones) is proposed in this paper. The notions of ordering cones and partial orderings on a vector space are essentially equivalent. Therefore, the optimality notions in a real vector space can be elicited naturally by invoking a concept similar to that of the Pareto-optimal solution in vector optimization problems. We introduce a corresponding multiobjective programming problem and a weighting problem of the original fuzzy multiobjective programming problem using linear functionals so that the optimal solution of its corresponding weighting problem is also the Pareto-optimal solution of the original fuzzy multiobjective programming problem.  相似文献

The paper is devoted to developing the Tikhonov-type regularization algorithm of finding efficient solutions to the vector optimization problem for a mapping between finite dimensional Hilbert spaces with respect to the partial order induced by a pointed closed convex cone. We prove that under some suitable conditions either the sequence generated by our method converges to an efficient solution or all of its cluster points belong to the set of all efficient solutions of this problem.  相似文献

In this paper, a partial enumeration algorithm is developed for a class of pure IP problems. Then, a computational algorithm, named PE_SPEEDUP (partial enumeration speedup), has been developed to use whatever explicit linear constraints are present to speedup the search for a solution. The method is easy to understand and implement, yet very effective in dealing with many pure IP problems, including knapsack problems, reliability optimization, and spare allocation problems. The algorithm is based on monotonicity properties of the problem functions, and uses function values only; it does not require continuity or differentiability of the problem functions. This allows its use on problems whose functions cannot be expressed in closed algebraic form. The reliability and efficiency of the proposed algorithm and the PE_SPEEDUP algorithm has been demonstrated on some integer optimization problems taken from the literature.  相似文献

This paper presents new approximation bounds for trilinear and biquadratic optimization problems over nonconvex constraints. We first consider the partial semidefinite relaxation of the original problem, and show that there is a bounded approximation solution to it. This will be achieved by determining the diameters of certain convex bodies. We then show that there is also a bounded approximation solution to the original problem via extracting the approximation solution of its semidefinite relaxation. Under some conditions, the approximation bounds obtained in this paper improve those in the literature.  相似文献

A solution concept of fuzzy optimization problems, which is essentially similar to the notion of Pareto optimal solution (nondominated solution) in multiobjective programming problems, is introduced by imposing a partial ordering on the set of all fuzzy numbers. We also introduce a concept of fuzzy scalar (inner) product based on the positive and negative parts of fuzzy numbers. Then the fuzzy-valued Lagrangian function and the fuzzy-valued Lagrangian dual function for the fuzzy optimization problem are proposed via the concept of fuzzy scalar product. Under these settings, the weak and strong duality theorems for fuzzy optimization problems can be elicited. We show that there is no duality gap between the primal and dual fuzzy optimization problems under suitable assumptions for fuzzy-valued functions.  相似文献

The problem of finding a solution to a system of mixed variational inequalities, which can be interpreted as a generalization of a primal–dual formulation of an optimization problem under arbitrary right-hand side perturbations, is considered. A number of various equilibrium type problems are particular cases of this problem. We suggest the problem to be reduced to a class of variational inequalities and propose a general descent type method to find its solution. If the primal cost function does not possess strengthened convexity properties, this descent method can be combined with a partial regularization method.  相似文献

We consider a continuous optimization model of a one-dimensional connected transportation network under the assumption that the cost of transportation with the use of network is negligible in comparison with the cost of transportation without it. We investigate the connections between this problem and its important special case, the minimization of the average distance functional. For the average distance minimization problem we formulate a number of conditions for the partial geometric regularity of a solution in ℝn with an arbitrary dimension n ⩾ 2. The corresponding results are applied to solutions to the general optimization problem. Bibliography: 26 titles. A new optimization formulation for simulating multiphase flow in porous media is introduced. A locally mass-conservative, mixed finite-element method is employed for the spatial discretization. An unconditionally stable, fully-implicit time discretization is used and leads to a coupled system of nonlinear equations that must be solved at each time step. We reformulate this system as a least squares problem with simple bounds involving only one of the phase saturations. Both a Gauss–Newton method and a quasi-Newton secant method are considered as potential solvers for the optimization problem. Each evaluation of the least squares objective function and gradient requires solving two single-phase self-adjoint, linear, uniformly-elliptic partial differential equations for which very efficient solution techniques have been developed.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate a backward problem for a space‐fractional partial differential equation. The main purpose is to propose a modified regularization method for the inverse problem. The existence and the uniqueness for the modified regularized solution are proved. To derive the gradient of the optimization functional, the variational adjoint method is introduced, and hence, the unknown initial value is reconstructed. Finally, numerical examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. Copyright © 2017 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A variational inequality with a nonmonotone mapping is considered in a Euclidean space. A regularization method with respect to some of the variables is proposed for its solution. The convergence of the method is proved under a coercivity-type condition. The method is applied to an implicit optimization problem with an arbitrary perturbing mapping. The solution technique combines partial regularization and the dual descent method.  相似文献
