Coupled discrete models abound in several areas of physics. Here we provide an extensive set of exact quasiperiodic solutions of a number of coupled discrete models in terms of Lamé polynomials of order one and two. Some of the models discussed are: (i) coupled Salerno model, (ii) coupled Ablowitz–Ladik model, (iii) coupled saturated discrete nonlinear Schrödinger equation, (iv) coupled ? 4 model and (v) coupled ? 6 model. Furthermore, we show that most of these coupled models in fact also possess an even broader class of exact solutions.  相似文献

计算了两个具有非球形扰动的气泡所组成系统的能量,并基于Lagrange方程得到了有声相互作用的非球形气泡的动力学方程和形状稳定性方程,研究了声场中非球形气泡间相互作用力对非球形气泡的形状不稳定性和气泡形状模态振幅的影响.研究结果表明声场中具有非球形扰动的气泡之间的耦合方式有两种:形状耦合模式和径向耦合模式,气泡之间的耦合方式取决于气泡形状扰动模态.由形状耦合及径向耦合产生的气泡之间的相互作用力能够改变单个气泡的形状不稳定及形状模态振幅,具体影响因素取决于声场驱动条件、气泡形状模态、相邻气泡的初始半径.  相似文献

We present an automatic control method for phase locking of regular and chaotic nonidentical oscillations, when all subsystems interact via feedback. This method is based on the well known principle of feedback control which takes place in nature and is successfully used in engineering. In contrast to unidirectional and bidirectional coupling, the approach presented here supposes the existence of a special controller, which allows to change the parameters of the controlled systems. First we discuss general principles of automatic phase synchronization (PS) for arbitrary coupled systems with a controller whose input is given by a special quadratic form of coordinates of the individual systems and its output is a result of the application of a linear differential operator. We demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach for controlled PS on several examples: (i) two coupled regular oscillators, (ii) coupled regular and chaotic oscillators, (iii) two coupled chaotic Rössler oscillators, (iv) two coupled foodweb models, (v) coupled chaotic Rössler and Lorenz oscillators, (vi) ensembles of locally coupled regular oscillators, (vii) ensembles of locally coupled chaotic oscillators, and (viii) ensembles of globally coupled chaotic oscillators.  相似文献

By the intracellular calcium ionic minimal model proposed by Berridge, we investigated the collective response of two-dimensional (N×N) coupled cell systems to the external stimulation using numerical simulation methods. With a coupled intensity fixed and an appropriate coupled cell number chosen, the kinetic system size resonance was discovered. At the same time, it was found that the system size responding to the external stimulation for different coupled intensities transferred too, especially when the coupled intensity increased, the range of the corresponding system size extended. These phenomena illustrate that the coupled cell number and the coupled intensity can play constructive roles in noisy coupled systems, by which the biology system would probably improve its capability to respond to the external stimulation.  相似文献

Coupled discrete models are ubiquitous in a variety of physical contexts. We provide an extensive set of exact quasiperiodic solutions of a number of coupled discrete models in terms of Lamé polynomials of arbitrary order. The models discussed are: (i) coupled Salerno model, (ii) coupled Ablowitz?CLadik model, (iii) coupled ? 4 model and (iv) coupled ? 6 model. In all these cases we show that the coefficients of the Lamé polynomials are such that the Lamé polynomials can be re-expressed in terms of Chebyshev polynomials of the relevant Jacobi elliptic function.  相似文献

Choosing TbFe as the magnetostrictive layer and using soft ferromagnetic materials (FM=Fe, Py-permalloy, FeCo) as the inductive layer, we report the magnetization and magnetostriction of the S/FM(10 nm)/TbFe(10 nm) coupled bilayer (S-glass substrate). The magnetization of the coupled bilayer is attributed to the soft ferromagnetic layer and there is no contribution from the TbFe layer. Interfacial exchange interaction plays an important role in determining the magnetostriction of the coupled bilayer. The effect coming from the deposition Argon pressure on the magnetostriction of the coupled bilayer was also investigated.  相似文献

In quantum optics, some models are considered to describe many aspects of the dynamics of atoms coupled to an electromagnetic field (laser). The simplest atomic model is of course the two-level-atom which is governed by the Bloch optical equations. In general this system is solved in the steady state or by using some approximations. An extended analytic approach is considered for this coupled equations. The separation approach of coupled differential equations is always possible with a sequence of special transformation into nonlinear differential equations. The conditions that permit an exact solution of three coupled systems are extracted in a natural manner. The case of sodium atom moving along the axis of a standing-wave is investigated in some details.  相似文献

We examine spontaneous emission and photon dynamics in a microcavity coupled to a coupled-resonator optical waveguide (CROW) in a photonic crystal. We present an efficient tight-binding approach to obtain the Green tensor in large, arbitrary systems of coupled microcavities. We use this approach to examine spontaneous emission when the microcavity is strongly coupled to the CROW at the band center and band edge. We confirm the validity of weak-coupling theories for microcavities resonant at band center and obtain strong peak splitting in the previously inaccessible case of band-edge coupled structures.  相似文献

We demonstrate the hybridization of the plasmonic modes in directly coupled whispering gallery cavities fabricated on silver films and present the mode patterns and energy levels using cathodoluminescence spectroscopy.Although the energy of the most antisymmetrically coupled modes is higher than that of the corresponding symmetrically coupled ones,the contrary cases happen for small quantum number modes.We attribute the phenomenon to the different surface plasmon polariton paths between the symmetrically and antisymmetrically coupled modes.These results provide an understanding of the resonant properties in coupled plasmonic cavities,which have potential applications in nanophotonic devices.  相似文献

In this paper, the complete synchronization problem is investigated in an array of linearly stochastically coupled identical networks with time delays. The stochastic coupling term, which can reflect a more realistic dynamical behavior of coupled systems in practice, is introduced to model a coupled system, and the influence from the stochastic noises on the array of coupled delayed neural networks is studied thoroughly. Based on a simple adaptive feedback control scheme and some stochastic analysis techniques, several sufficient conditions are developed to guarantee the synchronization in an array of linearly stochastically coupled neural networks with time delays. Finally, an illustrate example with numerical simulations is exploited to show the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

Active structural acoustic control(ASAC)is an efficient method in acoustic radiation control of coupled enclosure.In the past research of ASAC,the concept of "acoustic radiation mode(ARM)of coupled enclosure"was proposed,which was a set of basis functions of structural mode amplitude.However,there was an incompatibility with the ARM definition in free space radiation case which was a set of basic functions of normal velocity or pressure on the vibrating surface.Also,there was severe inconvenience for application as structural modes were required while accurate and useful structural modes were difficult to be extracted in practice.To overcome these problems,by analogy to ARM theory of free space,the acoustic potential energy was expressed in quadratic form of normal velocity on coupling surface and ARM of coupled enclosure was redefined.Furthermore,theoretic derivation showed that ARM of coupled enclosure could be replaced simply by corresponding acoustic mode projection of enclosure when the coupling surface was discretized into equal size elements.Therefore,the ARM theory of coupled enclosure which was consistent with that of free space and convenient for application was formed.Finally,numerical calculation was performed and the results proved that the presented theory was very efficient in ARM calculation of coupled enclosure and ASAC.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a coupled modified Volterra lattice equation which is an integrable semidiscrete version of the coupled KdV and the coupled mKdV equation. By using the Darboux transformation, we obtain its new explicit solutions including multi-soliton and multi-positon. 运用化学Langevin方程 ,数值研究了内噪声对单个和单向耦合自催化三分子模型动力学行为的影响 .研究发现 ,对于单个振子体系 ,内噪声可以诱导持续振荡 ,而且随着系统尺度的增大 ,信噪比经过一个极大值 ,从而证明了内噪声随机共振和最佳尺度效应的存在 ;对于单向耦合系统 ,信噪比还随耦合强度的变化而经过极大值 .此外 ,边界条件对耦合体系的内噪声随机共振行为有很大影响 ,非零流条件下 ,耦合可以增强内噪声随机共振 ,而零流条件下 ,耦合会抑制随机共振 ;当耦合强度适宜时 ,每个振子发生随机共振时的尺度几乎相同 ,表明最佳体系尺度和耦合强度有助于体系达到最佳的化学反应状态 .  相似文献

In this paper, we study a coupled modified Volterra lattice equation which is an integrable semidiscrete version of the coupled KdV and the coupled mKdV equation. By using the Darboux transformation, we obtain its new explicit solutions including multi-soliton and multi-positon. We explore how to cool collective atomic excitations in an optically-driven three-level atomic ensemble, which may be described by a model of two coupled harmonic oscillators (HOs) with a time-dependent coupling. Moreover, the model of two coupled HOs is further generalized to address the resolved sideband cooling issues, where the lower-frequency HO can be cooled whenever the cooling process dominates over the heating one during the sideband transitions. Unusually, due to the absence of the heating process, the optimal result for cooling collective excitations in an atomic ensemble could break the standard resolved sideband cooling limit for general models of two coupled HOs.  相似文献

The ground-state binding energy of a hydrogenic donor impurity in wurtzite (WZ) GaN/AlGaN coupled quantum dots (QDs) is calculated by means of a variational method, considering the strong built-in electric fields caused by the piezoelectricity and spontaneous polarizations. The strong built-in electric fields induce an asymmetrical distribution of the ground-state binding energy with respect to the center of the coupled QDs. If the impurity is located at the low dot, the ground-state binding energy is insensitive to the interdot barrier width of WZ GaN/AlGaN coupled QDs.  相似文献

The problem of coupled flexural-torsional vibration of a deep rectangular beam in the presence of a static axial load and an end moment is studied. Closed form analytical solutions are obtained for simply supported boundary conditions. Numerical results are obtained for the coupled frequencies and mode shapes (in terms of the location of axes of rotation of the cross-section) for different values of the load and the geometry parameters. The results show that the predominantly flexural frequencies of coupled flexural-torsional vibration can be obtained as uncoupled flexural frequencies of an equivalent beam-column by defining an effective axial load, and that by defining an equivalent moment parameter the presentation of the results for the predominantly flexural mode can be made in a form independent of the slenderness of the beam in the depth direction.  相似文献

通过在互耦合垂直腔面发射激光器(VCSELs)系统中增加外光注入, 建立了一种基于偏振可调光反馈VCSEL驱动互耦合VCSELs混沌系统模型, 分析了增加外光驱动对互耦合激光器随机特性的影响. 以不可预测度作为随机特性的评价指标, 采用信息论中的排列熵作为相应量化工具, 对系统输出混沌信号的不可预测性进行定量分析.数值研究了光强度、时延、偏振旋转角度以及驱动激光器与耦合激光器间的频率失谐对输出信号随机特性的影响.结果表明: 外光注入能够增大互耦合VCSELs输出混沌信号的排列熵, 即外光注入能够有效提高耦合系统的随机特性; 驱动激光器可调偏振片偏转角度调节到45° 附近, 注入强度适中, 满足耦合强度大于驱动激光器自反馈强度条件, 系统输出信号的排列熵较大; 在耦合时延与驱动激光器反馈时延不相等的同时, 增加驱动激光器与耦合激光器频率失谐, 外光注入互耦合VCSELs的随机特性能够得到进一步提高.  相似文献
